I hit another Darkwing Duck character with my redesign beam.

Co-founder of the St. Canard Paranormal Society (SCPS) Frank Steinbeck. Catholic, extremely superstitious, and hyperaware of the supernatural. Scared of everything but puts his fears aside and investigates ghosts/demons and other supernatural phenomena in order to protect the citizens of St. Canard from Beezlebub (Darkwing Duck's version of Satan) and his minions. He works with his partner, the other SCPS founder, Victor Hahm

Ok so I know everyone thinks that Taurus Bulba or Negaduck are the scariest and baddest villains in Darkwing Duck, but can we actually acknowledge the actual big baddie of the show. I am talking about Beezlebub or the Devil. Take a look at this guy and tell me those villains don't worship him. I mean come on he actually had Darkwing in hell. Imagine that a good Disney character in hell, just let that sink in a bit. And even if his torture is played for laughs I actually made a theory as to why Drake hates the Muddlefoots and Pelicans Island. When he was a child before the whole King of St.Canard deal Drake was a very trusting child. One day a seemingly nice couple walked up to him and offered him some candy. Well long story short he gets kidnapped by psychos who watched that show. So now he doesn't trust people who are too friendly and that show brings back traumatic memories. This is why The devil chooses this as his punishment.

Yeah so it's him that's the ultimate baddie. Not Negaduck.

Disney+ is missing Hot Spells. I haven't seen it yet so how controversial is it? Did it dive too deep into the occult?

It features a cartoon version of the devil as the episode’s antagonist...basically the devil tries to kill Darkwing Duck but just tricks Gosalyn into using magic to accidentally steal Darkwing’s soul. It’s all presented with 1990s cartoon logic and physics, but someone at Disney sure seems to think it’s cursed. (It’s not; it’s a pretty normal episode. The devil is actually called “Beezlebub” the whole time.)

The devil did appear in an earlier episode, “Dead Duck”, but for maybe a minute at most. Meanwhile in “Hot Spells”, dark magic, the devil, and hell are major components of its story. It’s weird that Disney’s still trying to bury the episode when way more frightening subject matter since appeared in Gravity Falls.
