I really gotta start brainstorming ways to slide Queerplatonic Eternalhoneymoon into my DarkParadise chaos

Burnet WOULD have a ton of dirt on Kukui just through him talking to her about Guzma (Molayne giving her even more dirt due to knowing Kukui longer)

But also Guzma having a bit of a sulk due to assuming that it wasn't Queerplatonic since Kukui is quite a bit more openly affectionate and spends a fair bit of his free time at Burnet's lab (it's mostly him pestering her about remembering to have lunch)

Then Kukui dealing with two white haired gremlins who enjoy using him as their personal furnace

Throw in the concept of Guzma being from Circhester and Kukui's gonna be contemplating a lot of life choices because Guzma and Burnet know what a Pidove is like (friendly, adhd as fuck and a bit of an idiot) while he has absolutely no clue

1️⃣ [Dark Paradise] was crafted from April 2023 to March 2024, marking SIN MIDO’s longest hiatus since debut.

2️⃣ “Flame” was inspired by Schubert‘s ’Erlkönig‘ and was the first track to be composed, setting the thematic tone for the entire album.

3️⃣ “Swamp” includes a prayer in the middle that echoes Park Chan-wook’s film ‘Thirst.’ SIN MIDO recorded this prayer spontaneously in a single take, without any script.

4️⃣ “Serenata for the Duchess (Slowed&Reverbed)” features ambient sounds absent in the original track.

5️⃣ Marionette (Inst only)“ has an original vocal version, but fewer than five people have ever heard it.

6️⃣ ”Shadow“ is a post-punk track with the fastest BPM of all SIN MIDO’s songs

7️⃣ ”Life is not easy (2024 remastered)“ is the only track in SIN MIDO’s discography written in a major key.

8️⃣ ”Moth“ inspired the album‘s artwork after the illustrator (@mingkixw) listened to the tracks, leading to the inclusion of a moth in the design.

Curse me and my neurodivergent little braincells...

I haven't touched Ao3 AT ALL for at minimum 12 hours because I don't wanna make things worse for the lovely volunteers (who absolutely deserve to get lovebombed by everyone)

But then at the same time I'm suffering a bit because while I'm not totally addicted to Ao3 (that award goes to a game on my phone I've played since March 2016) I genuinely don't have any other reading material that's as specific as what I have in my Ao3 history...

I have checked and there's not really much material for what I prefer to read on other sites which kinda sucks but it is understandable since the stuff I read is stuff that hasn't seen many content booms for 5 years now

Really does go to show how much we can take something for granted and then lose our minds when it's taken away from us indefinitely...

Might consider seeing if I can haul my socially inept arse out of my nest and approach some writers for help relearning how to write fanfics though so that I can fuel my need for DarkParadise content myself

Not my preferred kinda music but i'll say this after a run thru of both with lyrics on screen

Drunk Walk Home fits Guzma far better than it does Kukui while I Want You is just giving me DarkParadise brainrot because it works well with the fact thst Kukui was absolutely more hurt by the falling out than he lets on.
