Here I come back with an idea out of my crazy mind (everything is fine lmao) I decided to make a CDI style Zelda CDI adaptation of Inazuma Eleven, to pay homage to this magnificent console, I tried to do my best to respect least the original work and being in the spirit of the CDI, here it is a compilation of the OG game trilogy x) There are the GO trilogy too mwahaha 😈

I've seen GX several times, so obviously, I know this. And we all know this. But it's just really hit me the last few nights and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it.

The fact that Banner knew. He knew what happened to Atticus the entire time. Because he was the one who led Atticus to the shadows in the abandoned dorm, and he was also a Shadow Rider.

He knew.

And that just really fucks me up when I think about him being such a present figure in the lives of the kids in the first season, like, he's such a prominent figure in Alexis's life at the school. And the entire first half of the first season her entire motivation, her entire purpose is trying to find even a single clue about what happened to her brother, and hopefully, actually finding him.

And it's not a secret that she's actively searching for him, not among the main cast at least so I don't find it to be much of a stretch that Banner could've found out. But when if he didn't know that, just the fact that Atticus's little sister is now a student at this school. And Banner knows full well, not just what happened to her brother, but what he did to him -under orders or not- and like he's not really around much when Atticus is actually present and conscious, but if he's the good, decent man the kids believe he is and that he's presented as, how could he ever look Alexis in the eye without the guiltiest conscience. How dare he look her in the eye and not feel the weight of that guilt.

And like, I love Banner. I adore Banner, I think he's just delightful, but I just can't get passed this at the moment like it's just come crashing into me like a truck and I don't know, I think we should talk about the damage he did to this family more. Like I need to see some actual acknowledgement of it from the show, personally, but we never really did necessarily and I'm just losing my mind a little bit over here hahahahahaha 😭

oh also reminder that the anime and manga continuties are different:

Manga: OG -> R -> DSOD -> GX -> 5D's (maybe Zexal?)

Anime: DM -> GX -> 5D's

Other: Each other anime basically takes place in a new universe as there's no outright confirmation of previous characters with the exception of the Rush Duels Series. Also "season 0" is a different continuity

how about Rain Code characters as Pokemon? (I think Vivia should be Meowstic and Fubuki is shiny Sylveon)

This was a fun question to explore! To help narrow down my choices, I decided to stick with a type for each character that I feel reflects their personalities most (so the gym leader rule except this time it's just one Pokémon I'm choosing). The character's primary type will be listed next to their name! This is mostly going off of a Pokémon's design and Pokédex entries in order to figure out what each character would be. I'll stick with talking about the NDA for now, but maybe some other time I'll do the Peacekeepers and train gang as well!

Yuma (Fairy) - Sylveon! this is mainly based off Ultra Moon's entry that describes Sylveon's ability to sense its trainer's emotions when its ribbonlike feelers are wrapped around their arm. Fits very well with Coalescence! Sylveon are also known to quell fights, and it can even stand up to dragon Pokémon. Speaking of which...

Yakou (Dragon) - I've always switched between whether Yakou would be a dragon or normal type, especially when considering him just as a trainer. But there's a very easy solution when deciding who he'd be as a Pokémon: he's a Drampa! Drampa is kind and compassionate, but will not hesitate to fight to protect those it loves. It can be surprisingly destructive when angered, so don't get on its bad side.

Halara (Psychic) - Another Eeveelution, this time it's Espeon! Mainly inspired by Ultra Sun's entry that its precognitive abilities were sparked from the need to protect itself. I know Halara is all about postcognition, but it seems the only psychic type that can look into the past is Xatu, but it doesn't really jive with Halara personality-wise. So Espeon it is!

Desuhiko (Electric) - Come on, how can I not choose Pikachu for this guy? Especially since they share the same rosy cheeks and are also known to cosplay! A perfect match!

Fubuki (Flying) - This might be a bit of a stretch, but I think Fubuki would be a Togekiss. These Pokemon are renowned as signs of good luck and only visit peaceful regions. Fubuki uses her time-rewinding to avoid conflict, aligning with Togekiss' avoidance of strife. I also think Togekiss' rarity to appear could harken to her being holed up in her family's mansion for so long.

Vivia (Ghost) - Hisuian Typhlosion was basically made for Vivia. Its a purifier of lost souls and guide to the afterlife. While it may often act more mellow than its purely fire type counterpart, it's known to lose control of its emotions when angered enough and unleash ghostly flames that appear as ferocious beasts.
