The general Aleksander Morozova also called the Darkling, the head of the grisha, is in love with both Mal (who thinks he hates him) and Alina, her enemy and ally, the second more powerful creature in the world. But there's no need to choose because they also love each other. Please add Alina bearing children for both men (several children)!

Aleksander Morozova, the Darkling, stood at the edge of the cliff, looking out at the vast expanse of the Fold. His mind was occupied with thoughts of Alina and Mal, the two people he loved more than anything in the world.

Alina was the second most powerful creature in the world, the Sun Summoner, and his enemy and ally. Mal was a tracker who had once been Alina's love interest, and now, despite his own feelings of hatred towards the Darkling, Aleksander found himself inexplicably drawn to him.

He had kept his feelings for both of them hidden for years, afraid of what their reactions might be. But now, as he stood on the cliff, watching the sunrise over the Fold, he knew he couldn't keep his feelings bottled up any longer.

That night, he met with Alina and Mal in the abandoned castle, where they had all once trained together. He told them how he felt, expecting them to be repulsed or angry. But to his surprise, they both listened to him with open hearts.

As they talked, Aleksander felt a weight lift off his shoulders. For the first time in his life, he felt truly understood and accepted. And as the night wore on, their relationship grew closer and deeper.

A few months later, Alina announced that she was pregnant with their child. Aleksander was overjoyed, but he knew that Mal had played a part in it as well, for Alina had borne a child for both of them. They were ecstatic to learn that they were expecting not one, but several children.

The birth was difficult, but in the end, they were blessed with three healthy, beautiful children. They named them Yuri, Nadia, and Alexei, after their parents and their shared love for the country of Ravka.

Despite the challenges they faced, they were happy. They had found a way to make their love work, and they were grateful for every moment they shared together. And as they looked at their children, they knew that they had created something special, something that would endure for generations to come.

Yes, that - wow, gosh, I'd be an utter liar if I said I hadn't considered it, lollz 🤣 Kirigan just has so much chemistry, with, like, everyone. Our SAB gc calls him "General Tall Dark and Handsome" and "Chemistry in a Cloak" 🤣🤣🤣😍

But like, seriously, he and Mal could totally have had this furious, hot hate-sex type of thing going in that first confrontation! Just... saying ;)

It'd have to be a pretty heavy AU, though, because I'm afraid that Kirigan's far less than moral actions with Alina and the collar rather put me off shipping them in any form whatsoever :/ I mean, I saw him being evil coming from a mile away, but it turned out to be even worse than I'd expected, and now my brain is just like #nope. He be a villain, and not the good, funny, lovable type like the Crows.

So yeah, that's a yes in "I definitely thought about it and it'd be way hot" but a "no in anything past that bc my bbys deserve better than dark, evil and admittedly attractive arseholes who violate their autonomy" from me.

Favorite character: Alina Starkov tbh. I love her entire arc, her embracing her gifts. That whole line, "I wasn't ready before" when coaxing out her light. I wish her story ended differently, but still I very much am loving show Alina especially.

Least Favorite character: ....you know who I am gonna say by virtue of who my favorite character is alone and my saying I hate her ending. IT IS MAL. IT'S MAL. IT'S THE COMIC SANS FONT JOCK CHILDHOOD FRIEND WHO IS SO UTTERLY BORING TO ME BOOK!MAL. Show!Mal is lightyears better.

5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Darklina, Kanej, Darkmalina (the duality of man here. oT3 it and suddenly it is good again), Helnik.... I don't have a fifth honestly.

Character I find most attractive: In the books? Kaz. In the show, the Darkling.

Character I would marry: ...my favs are all probably really bad to marry but fuck it, Darkling. Rip to Alina but I'm ready to rule the world.

Character I would be best friends with: Nina and Inej, I adore them both <3

a random thought: I live in fear of what Leigh Bardugo will do to Kaz in any soc follow ups because in interviews she has implied she feels he is too "far gone" and done too many bad things to have a happy ending.

An unpopular opinion: Alina shoulda kept her powers at the end of the series, even if they were diminished somewhat.

My Canon OTP: Kanej

My Non-canon OTP: Darklina-- I mean, it was kinda canon? But then it became very much We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together.

Most Badass Character: Inej ofc

Most Epic Villain: Hmm... villain wise, I think Pekka Rollins is more compelling than anything from the other series.

Pairing I am not a fan of: Malina, like YA ALREADY KNOW BY NOW...

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): Eh, in the show I feel they missed the mark on Kaz a bit, but Jesper is so flawless I'm willing to overlook it.

Favourite Friendship: Jesper and Everyone to be honest. His dynamic with Inej and Kaz and Wylan (romantic too) and Nina...he's the heart of them so much and I love it.

Character I most identify with: Probably Nina. I too love waffles, crushing the hearts of my enemies and being delightful.

Character I wish I could be: Oh I wish I had half the coolness of Inej. I mean, it is the Truama(TM) but like-- she's so cool and her KNIVES and her resolve. Inej is goals.
