Y/N watched as he was surrounded by Parademons. They clicked and chattered as they had their blasters raised at Y/N as he dodged and blasted some with a magical Ankh symbol. They flew above him, warily of his magic as they were closing in.
"HOLD!"
A voice boomed out as Y/N looked up in the sky and saw a flick of black cape, and Y/N was looking at Superman. His hair was styled perfectly, and his blue eyes were complimented by his black suit, but he was as beautiful as he was dangerous.
After Darkseid invaded earth and the death of Lois Lane, Superman was overcome by the Anti-Life Equation. The damage to Superman's psyche left him vulnerable, and he became susceptible to the Darkseid's influence, allowing Darkseid to use Superman as his new champion to rule over the planet. With Superman, his army, and the equation, Darkseid conquered Earth, destroyed the Justice League. But that was only the beginning of the story.
Superman betrayed Darkseid and killed the overlord, and took control of his army and his disciples. The former Man of Steel now ruled the earth with an iron fist, and Y/N happened to be on his list of people to capture and torture. Looks like he was going to get his wish.
Y/N watched as Clark waved the Parademons away from Y/N. "This one will be mine." He smiled cruelly at the young hero, who glared up in defiance at his former teammate, mentor, and secret crush.
"I belong to no one!"
Superman tilted his head and blasted his heat vision at Y/N, who created a fractal shield of magic to protect himself before launching full force at the Kryptonian.

Can you please do another fic of obsessed/ possessive Tyler ?
you got it!!
18+ non con, stalking, insane Tyler do not read if it will trigger you
Y/n huffed as she handed Tyler another order, her body jolting as he expertly took it, grazing her hand and slightly pulling her towards him before going back to the order at hand. Her mind reeling as she looked at him with a raised eyebrow but shook her head, she must have imagined it.
Tyler watched closely as a male customer complimented Y/n on her uniform, his smile full of innocence as Y/n smiled back and gave him a muffin on the house, her face red as Tyler glared at the man until he was out the door. His hand slamming on the counter next to Y/n making her jump as he put on an innocent smile making her let out a sigh and laugh slightly feeling silly for jumping at poor Tyler.
"Hey Ty you okay?" Her voice was so sweet he could almost taste her, his smile was hard to keep the same as he got into her space although she didn't realise, his eyes dropping to look her over as she wiped the counter down.
"It's going to start getting cold soon, you'll have to start wearing trousers again." Y/n looked at him oddly before looking outside and back at Tyler.
"It's september Ty, i have a good month or so before i even have to consider trousers, i have wool tights aswell." Shrugging her shoulders she moved away, Tyler clenching his hand as she crouched down, the beige short skirt fluttering around her thighs as he took a deep breath.
"I wasn't trying to be mean Y/n, i just don't want you getting cold on our walks home." Y/n turned her head and gave him a sincere smile as she waved off his concern.
"I'm a big girl Ty, i can handle a little cold, the most i have to worry about at the moment is the wind. Don't wanna flash anyone." Y/n laughed as she checked the dates in the mini fridge, placing almost expired milk to the side and checking the syrups and creams. Tyler glared at her back before getting closer pretending to grab the milks as Y/n turned to look at him, his foot slipping as he yelped and fell on top of Y/n. Her body turning as her back hit the ground, his hands landing either side of her head as his hips pushed between her legs. Her face going bright red as she panicked looking at his embarrassed face, his face bright red as he stuttered out an apology.
"I'm so sorry Y/n." Moving his body back as his hand lifted off the floor and landed on her outer thigh, her skirt hiking up as he looked down hiding his pure amusement at her little underwear instead covering it with a panicked yelp and falling back. His hand on Y/n's thigh bringing her with him as they both laid, legs sprawled out with hips connected as Y/n sat herself up and quickly yanked down her skirt.
"Oh my god i am so sorry!" Tyler was quick to scuttle off the ground and pull her up, Y/n's eyes widening at how easily he lifted her off the ground with just a grip of her hand. Y/n now was pressed against his chest as they both heaved in panic and embarrassment, her eyes meeting Tylers before she began laughing awkwardly.
"Tyler you seriously have such bad luck, thank god it was you though and not some weirdo." Y/n pulled away shaking her head and moving to grab her coat, Tyler watching as her red checked long coat covered her body, her hands flicking her hair out the collar and reaching for her bag.
'Yeah thank god it was me.' Tyler's eyes were dark as he placed a fake shameful smile on and ran a hand through his hair, hurrying to follow Y/n before she locked up.
Tyler lurked in the shadows as he watched Y/n's window, her figure barely noticeable through the blinds but after that day at work he wanted-no needed more of her. Her soft and pliable flesh under his hand had made his Hyde go crazy with desire, and his inner thoughts were like a hurricane everytime he saw her. He wished he had ripped her underwear off and fucked her on the ground of the weathervane, held her fragile neck and listened to her cry out for him. The thought alone had him climbing up to her window in the dead of night, her window opening easily as he let out a dark chuckle at how little she guarded herself. Letting himself in as he gazed at her sleeping body, her chest rising and falling in the oversized top, the fabric ridden up and pooling around her stomach as his eyes transfixed on her underwear. Laid on her back her arms circled her head and one leg flopped to the left whilst the other laid flat, her blanket wrapped around her ankle.
"So defenceless." Tyler whispered to himself as he creeped closer, inhaling the scent of her room as he climbed onto her bed, hands close to her as he nuzzled his head against her stomach and took a deep breath.
"So so beautiful." His hair seemed to tickle her stomach as she curled up slightly, pushing his head lower as he felt the lace of her underwear against his chin making him grin.
"I know you want me Pet but i want to watch tears come out your eyes when i fuck you." His voice seemed to stir Y/n as she groaned slightly making Tyler moan and palm himself. Pulling back as he ran his hands along her inner thighs, watching each goosebump rise and her hands clench as her breathing picked up, a smirk on his face as he ran a hand along her underwear, toying with the elastic before running a single finger down and over her covered pussy. Groaning as his head dropped back at the dampness, a second finger joining as he ran them back and forth. Cursing himself for not having the control he needed, his eyes looking down at Y/n as her chest jolted with each movement, body moving to press her pussy further into his hand as he reminded himself he wouldn't go further.
But he was a beast above all else.
And far too susceptible to his dark thoughts as he hooked a finger in the side of her underwear and gently tugged it aside, a guttural moan leaving him as he stared at her glistening pussy.
Y/n's eyebrows furrowed as she began sitting up, a sudden chill awakening her as she rubbed her eyes and looked down. A blush coming over her face as she noticed her underwear was to the side, pulling it back and biting her lip at her own wetness trying to recall the dream she was having but shivered. Getting up she yawned and opened her curtains, looking confused at her window swearing she had closed it, shrugging she pushed it closed and returned to bed.
"Hey Ty, guess what?" Y/n slid next to Tyler as he handed an elderly lady her tea and gave her a small smile, his mind reeling back to the previous night as he looked down at her skirt.
'It would be so easy to bend you over this counter and fuck you in front of everyone. I know you'd love it, you'd cum so hard you wouldn't remember your own name Pet.' Y/n snapped Tyler out of his thoughts as she got closer and whispered.
"My house is haunted, last night my window opened on its own and for the past month loads of little things have gone missing. My mum says i'm paranoid but i think some old ghost is haunting me." Y/n laughed as she nudged Tyler assuming he'd laugh too and call her crazy, instead Tyler only shook his head and ruffled her hair.
"And what has this ghost been taking?" Y/n grinned as she grabbed his hand pulled him down to her height with excitement.
"This is why you're my favourite person. The ghost started off by taking silly things like my hairbands, a hairbrush all stuff i put down to me losing track of. But then they started taking my underwear and even my little red dress you like. As i said my mum thinks i'm crazy." Y/n shrugged laughing at her own silliness as Tyler laughed too and leant against the counter.
"Hate to say it but you 100% have a ghost, maybe it'll start doing all the things out of paranormal." Y/n let out a laugh and shook her head making Tyler grin to himself at her own thoughts, he knew exactly what had been taken. He'd been visiting her ever since she started working with him, but he'd only recently decided to take consolation prizes and how could he not when she practically invited him in.
"I am sooo bored." Y/n groaned as she leant over the counter, head on her hand as she looked at the door, Tyler holding back a moan at the sight, her beige skirt barely covering her and all he could think about was her pretty pussy aching for him. Stepping closer he felt his eyes darken, his urges pushing forward as he placed his hands either side of her and pressed his face into the crook of her neck.
"Uhh Ty you're a bit close." Y/n went to look over her shoulder when his hand gripped her chin and forced her to look back at the door as he lightly bit her neck making her yelp.
"You watch the door, can't have anyone seeing the mess i'm about to make of this pussy." Y/n's eyes widened as she stumbled over her words confused before the hand left her face and quickly pushed aside her underwear. The words caught in her throat as she gripped the counter tightly and felt tears well up in her eyes, feeling his rough fingers move up and down her folds with a familiarity she couldn't understand. His fingers swirling her clit and making her choke on her spit before his fingers left her, the air returned to her lungs when his hand clenched her cheeks and forced her lips apart.
"Suck." His voice was dark and demeaning as she clenched her eyes closed and felt two fingers push into her mouth, massaging her tongue as she did as he said. Her pussy clenching around nothing as she heard him groan.
Her friend and confidant was treating her like a whore.
He ripped his hand from her face and began sucking on her neck, feeling the hairs stand up against her neck and body heat up as his fingers returned to her pussy.
"Do you know how much of a tease you are Y/n? Huh? Bending over all day in those little skirts, telling me about the ghosts taking your underwear. Fluttering those eyelashes at me like a bitch in heat." Y/n let out a choke sob as he played with her clit, every word punctuated with a harsh swipe that had her legs shaking and moans escaping.
"Do you know how hard it is to be around you and not fuck you silly every day?" Y/n let out a yelp as he pushed his fingers inside her aching pussy, the rhythme he set brutal and unforgiving as he moved a hand to grasp at her chest, pushing his way up her top and into her bra. Fingers pinching her nipples harshly as she whimpered and pushed her hips back into his hand making Tyler chuckle darkly.
"Fuck Pet, your body really knows who you belong to doesn't it." Y/n let out a moan as he pushed a third finger into her dripping cunt, her eyes squeezing closed as she felt the painful sting set her body alight.
"I'm going to make your pussy weep for me." His words were like red hot lava in her ear as it sent boiling blood down her body and straight to her clit, his fingers roughly pulling out as he tugged on her breast and ripped open his trousers. Y/n only managing to moan his name before he plunged into her, her whole body jolting as she cried his name.
"Tyler fuck." Her words pornographic to his ears as he let out a guttural moan, his hand dripping with her juice as he clenched her hip and forced her back onto his cock.
"Just like that baby, fuck you're so tight. Don't worry i'll get your pussy used to me, i'll be able to slip in anytime i want." Y/n let out another moan as she held onto his arm with one hand, her other slid halfway down the counter as he body rocked back and forth with each abusive thrust. Her pussy burning and tears flowing from her eyes as she choked out moans and tried to string together a thought.
"I always knew this pussy would be perfect for me, i couldn't help myself the other night, you were so defenceless and practically begging me to do it." Y/n's eyes widened as she remembered waking up, her underwear to the side and window open, the realisation making her cry out in fear as Tyler moan.
"Do that again, cry for me it makes you clench around me." Y/n sobbed as he pulled his hand from her chest and pressed her top half against the counter top, holding her down as his head fell back and he lavished in the sloppy sound of his thrusts.
"Honestly how can you be so dense, such a stupid girl, but don't worry i'm going to look after you. I'll protect you from all the other men out there, but i'm going to take my payment as much as i want." His last words punctuated with harsh thrusts forcing her hips against the countertop as Y/n squeezed her eyes closed, hating how her body responded to his mean side. The hand on her back slid down to her neck before tangling in her hair, yanking her head upwards as Tyler moaned at the angle, her hands gripping his as she cried in pain.
"Fuck that right there is perfect." His other hand dropping to swirl her clit as Y/n moaned and let out more tears at the burn in her stomach, his fingers and cock working in tandem to force her to cum as she tried to fight it.
Tyler relished in her body, watching as she tried to fight the need to cum, his fingers alternating in pressure until he found the sweet spot, her pussy clenching hard around him as she moaned his name in desperation.
"Tell me your pussy belongs to me and i'll make you cum so hard you won't remember your own name." Y/n shook her head as she felt her eyes roll back, the grip in her hair tightening as she was blinded with pain making her yelp.
"Say it or i'm going to force it out of you in ways you won't enjoy." Y/n gulped and cried.
"Thi-this pussy belongs to you Tyler. Ple-please." Y/n felt shame wash over her as Tyler let of her head and leaned over, placing a kiss on her neck.
"My pleasure Pet." With that his hand sped up, each thrust rolling into her clit and making her eyes roll back as his name dropped from her lips like a sick prayer. Forcing her over the edge as she came around his cock, Tyler stuttering and cumming deep inside her pussy as he moaned her name.
Y/n laid her face against the counter exhausted and full of fear as she felt Tyler begin to pull out, hope blossoming in her chest before he pushed back in, a moan coming out her mouth and she felt him harden once more.
"You didn't think i'd be satisfied with only once did you?" Y/n let out a quivering moan as Tyler pulled and forced her onto the ground, his body hovering over hers before pushing into her abused pussy making her moan in pain and overstimulation.
"So pretty." His voice almost seemed normal but Y/n could see the complete change in his eyes. They were the eyes of a wild animal, a beast.

Nightcall
People invite monsters into their houses more often than you think.
Warnings: 18+, NON-CON, DUB-CON, dark!tyler, aged up character(s), blood, mentions of murder/violence, manipulation, jealousy, choking, dacryphilia
Word Count: 3.7k
His fingers fumble with his phone in the dark. Blood smearing on the screen when trying to find your name to click on. Unshed tears glisten in his eyes and shaky breaths leave his lips as he listens to the ringing tone.
You look out your bedroom window one more time, watching the rain fall from the sky before closing the curtains for the night. You head towards the bathroom, walking past your phone that sits on the dresser.
You don’t hear your phone buzz in the other room, the screen lighting up with Tyler’s name. You step into the hot shower, oblivious to the boy trying to get ahold of you.
He curses out loud when he hears the beginning of your voicemail. Hanging up, he immediately clicks on your name again.
When he gets the same result, he throws his phone down on the passenger seat.
Tyler doesn’t know why it feels like it’s life or death whether he talks to you right now. But he can’t shake the feeling that you’re with him again.
Maybe it’s stupid. Maybe it’s that obsessive, little corner of his mind plaguing him with the idea that someone is right where he should be.
He can’t get it out of his head, no matter how hard he tries. That day on perpetual repeat as he drives down the dark road.
“This would be less painful if you talk, Tyler,” she reminded him for the second time that session.
She kept a pearly white grin on her face, voice still cheery. But he noticed the annoyance that she fought so hard against, starting to seep through.
He couldn’t keep his eyes on the blonde sitting in front of him, instead they roam around her neatly decorated apartment. He’d never paid attention to how many candles she keeps lit. That must be a fire hazard, he thought. This whole place could go up in flames with a slight push to one of them.
“In our last session, you told me about a friend you reconnected with recently. Y/N, was it?” Dr. Kinbott inquired, watching Tyler for a reaction.
He shifted a little in his seat at the mention of your name. But he tried his hardest to keep a straight face, not even a twitch of a muscle. He didn’t need Dr. Kinbott to know what makes him squirm.
“How did you two meet again?”
He let out a sigh before being forced to recount his early memories. He supposed he didn’t mind since it had to do with you.
“We met in kindergarten. She just, came up to me and asked if I wanted to play house.” He kept his voice as steady as possible. “I know I would’ve rather played with the toy cars. But for some reason, I said yes. I don’t really remember why.”
He stopped paying attention to how Dr. Kinbott tilted her head like what he was saying was the most interesting thing she’s ever heard. Instead, a smile traced his lips as he felt himself be transported back into the memory.
“We played together every day after that. Going to each other’s birthday parties and kid stuff like that.”
He still remembered how you wanted him to sit next to you when you blew out your candles on your birthday cake, or how you always gave him your last Animal Cracker at snack time, just because he was still hungry.
“Then what happened?”
Her question made him falter, lips parting in confusion.
“What happened for you two to reconnect now? Reconnecting usually means you drifted apart in the first place.”
He slightly nodded, eyes moving to the floor. He thought for a moment before he continued.
“Puberty, I guess. We turned 12 and things just changed. It wasn’t cool to be friends with a girl.”
Dr. Kinbott continued to nod, humming in understanding.
“So, why now?”
“Honestly, I’m not sure. She came into the Weathervane one day… and she was surprised to see me working there. Then we got to talking and… now we see each other all the time.”
He stopped himself from saying anything more about you.
Truthfully, he could’ve gone on for hours about you. How every time you looked at him, it felt like you were staring right into his soul, and all you did was smile, not turning away in fear or disgust.
He could’ve talked about how he longs to see that smile all the time, that simple expression on you making a bad day turn better.
He knew your drink order like the back of his hand. He thought it was funny how you only ever want a latte made by him now. Your excuse was no one else makes the foam like he does.
His favorite time of the day was when the sun went down. The Weathervane was finally empty of customers, and the two of you could just sit in your own little corner of the world, talking for hours. Everything else was a distant thought during those times. All he could do was focus on the warmth of your voice, telling him all of your greatest dreams and desires.
You told him you want to leave Jericho one day, hoping there’s something better out there for you, and all he could think was how much he wants to go with you.
“That’s great, Tyler. Having a friend, you can talk to is a really special thing.” Dr. Kinbott’s voice snatched him from his thoughts. She glanced at the clock.
“Looks like we’re out of time.”
Tyler kept his eyes on the ground, head swirling with memories of you that were unearthed in his session with Dr. Kinbott. He only looked up when he crossed the street, giving a polite smile to the car that stopped for him.
He was on his way to work, not much of a break between therapy and having to serve coffee to a wide array of customers.
But before he could get to the door of the Weathervane, he spotted you through the window. It was a nice surprise before he realized you were sitting across from someone, laughing at what they were saying.
His jaw tensed, brows pulled together as he watched you talk to a guy that you and Tyler went to school with.
He always thought Ben was an asshole, thinking he was so much better than everyone else. So much better than Tyler at least.
He was stumped at why you would want to be talking to Ben in the same booth that was supposed to be yours and Tyler’s.
His first instinct was to pretend that it was nothing when Ben brushed his hand against yours, and you let him, smiling.
But he felt something sink in his chest, a familiar feeling. A type of feeling he’s gotten when he watches the world around him, realizing he has no place in it. This time, it’s a little different, the feeling has evolved.
Now he has no choice, it’s screaming, telling him to do something before he goes insane.
You still haven’t checked your phone when you’re dressed in your pajamas, skin still dewy from your shower.
The doorbell ringing throughout the house startles you. You think for a second of who it could be, somewhat hoping the person gets impatient and leaves.
When it rings again, you peek through your bedroom curtains. When you see who it is, you practically run downstairs, opening the front door as fast as you can.
“Tyler, what are you doing?”
He stands on your doorstep in the pouring rain, arms hugging his sides, looking like a stray puppy needing shelter.
You grab his arm, dragging him into your house and out of the harsh weather. His clothes are soaking wet, his hair sticking to his forehead.
“Is everything okay?” You ask, still trying to figure out why he came to your house in the first place.
He looks around, almost like he’s in a daze.
“Are your parents home?”
You stare at him with your brow furrowed until you slightly shake your head, realizing he asked you a question.
“No, they’re out of town for the weekend. I thought I told you that.”
He hears the worry in your voice, not trying hard to disguise it. He likes it, the fact you care enough about him to be concerned.
“So, you’re home by yourself?” There’s an edge to his voice, something that makes a chill go down your spine.
You nod slowly, your eyebrows slightly raised.
“Are you sure you’re okay?”
He just keeps his eyes on the floor.
You sigh, “You probably shouldn’t go back out there, at least until it stops raining.” His eyes finally meet yours. “I can try to find some other clothes for you while I put those in the dryer.”
His mouth opens, surprised at your offer.
“But leave your shoes by the door. My parents would kill me if you got mud everywhere.”
He looks down at his dirty shoes, bending down and frantically untying them.
You start to go up the stairs, and Tyler hesitates for a second before quickly following you.
“I’ll also get you a towel to dry your hair,” you say with an amused smile on your lips, looking back to take in his wet curls.
He follows you into your room, and he can’t help but take in every detail of you that is carved into it. All he can think is how it’s so you, from the few pictures hanging on the walls to the color you chose for the duvet on your bed.
“You can undress in here, and hopefully something of my dad’s will fit you.”
“Thanks, Y/N.”
You give him one last reassuring smile before closing the door.
It’s not lost on him how odd it is to be taking his clothes off in your bedroom. Maybe in a different situation, he would enjoy it more.
Soon enough, those agonizing thoughts come back, making him wonder how many other guys have been in this situation. Except you’d be there, also taking your clothes off.
He wonders if Ben has been in that situation, with that stupid, arrogant smirk on his face.
A knock on the door interrupts his thoughts.
“Come in,” he calls out.
You open the door, finding Tyler standing in the middle of your room, only in his boxers.
A sight you thought you’d never see.
It’s hard for him to look you in the eyes, his hands trying to find something to do. But what makes him feel worse is your lack of embarrassment at seeing him like this.
You step closer to him, but before you can explain what you found, you drop what you’re holding on to the bed.
“Oh my God, Tyler.” That concern is back in your voice.
He follows your gaze, looking down, realizing that he’s bleeding. He usually gets wounded in some way when he transforms. He’s not entirely sure how it happens, probably while he’s on the hunt. He’s just glad that the rain washed away the blood that wasn’t his.
You rush to him, inspecting the scratches on his ribcage, right near his stomach.
“Does it hurt?”
The scratches don’t look too deep, but they’re still bright red.
“It’s not too bad.”
You look at him with disbelief. But you decide not to press on the matter anymore.
“Okay. Well, I’ll get the first aid kit and you just sit down.” You motion to the foot of your bed. “Oh and,” you say, almost forgetting. “Here’s a towel for your hair. I could only find you a shirt, but you probably shouldn’t put it on until I get you cleaned up.”
You pick up Tyler’s wet clothes off the floor before leaving.
He grabs the towel, ruffling his hair with it, trying to dry it. He enjoys how you take care of him, treating him like he’s a little boy that needs to be nursed back to health. How he’s the only person you seem to care about at all, putting all your attention on him.
You come back, sitting right next to him, sorting through the bandages in the little plastic box.
“How did this even happen? It looks like you were attacked by a wild animal.”
You begin to bandage him up the best you can, waiting for an answer.
“I was playing with Elvis, and he got a little too rough I guess.”
It’s not his best lie, but it will have to do for now.
You don’t say anything, and Tyler isn’t sure if your silence is to do with your disproval or if you’re too focused on his wound.
A few minutes pass, and you’re still working on covering the scratches up. It doesn’t go past you how intimate this is, the only sounds are yours and Tyler’s breathing and the soft tapping of the rain against the window. You drag your eyes up a little, taking in how toned he is, something he keeps well-hidden.
You’re so close to him that he can smell the soap on your skin, vanilla filling his nose. The feeling of your fingertips on his body makes him feel like he’s on fire. If all he had to do was hurt himself and show up on your doorstep in the pouring rain to get you to pay this kind of attention to him, he would’ve done it a long time ago.
“That should be good.” You lean back, admiring your handiwork.
His green gaze finds his now bandaged up wound, a smile lighting up his features.
“Thank you, Y/N. I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
“I don’t know either.”
Your smile matches his as you bring a hand to his hair, letting your fingers run through his soft curls. His eyes fall shut with the comforting, almost loving movement.
He opens them to see you staring at him, like you’re admiring him. Content is written on your face.
He can only guess his face looks more or less the same, probably more like a lovesick idiot.
He doesn’t really think about it as he leans in closer to you, his eyes glued to your lips. He doesn’t notice how your expression morphs into something of confusion and panic.
A small gasp leaves your lips as his own crash into your cheek instead. You feel him freeze, realization hitting him coldly.
He finally moves away from you, keeping his head down. But even as he wishes to disappear from your sight, he can’t stop you from seeing the blood rushing into his cheeks.
You instantly feel bad when you see the embarrassment that clouds him. The last thing you would want is to upset Tyler. But him almost kissing you was a shock. You never thought for a second Tyler had a crush on you.
You sigh, closing your eyes for a second, trying to figure out the words to make all of this better.
“Tyler, I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean to make you feel bad. It’s just…” You trail off, not wanting to add salt to his wounds. You shift a little. “It’s just, I don’t see you like that.”
You try to judge his reaction, and by the way his jaw ticks, it’s not good.
“I’ve been really happy since we became friends again, and… I don’t want to lose that,” you soothe.
“Do you like him?” There’s a darkness to his voice, a bitterness you’ve never heard from him before.
You stare at him, not understanding.
“I saw you with him. At the Weathervane.” He finally turns to face you. “Are you fucking him or something?”
His face is practically in a snarl, and you’re ready to defend yourself against his unfair accusations.
But then you see the hurt in his eyes, the slightest glimmer of an unshed tear. You decide to take a deep breath, stopping yourself from saying something you’ll regret.
“I think you just need to calm down, Tyler.”
Unfortunately, your words have the opposite effect. Your lack of an answer makes his jaw tighten. His eyes seem to have this far away look in them.
He had hoped every thought that invaded his mind was wrong. But he realizes that the voice in the back of his head telling him he’s not good enough for you has only been right.
His gaze finally settles over you, an intensity taking over that wasn’t there before.
“Do you think he’s better than me?”
Your brow furrows. “What? No-.”
“Then why him?” He pauses before going into his next question. “What’s so bad about me that you won’t at least give me a chance?”
You look down at your hands in your lap, immediately feeling a pang of guilt. You don’t know why you can’t see Tyler in a romantic way. You’ve known him since you were kids. He always looks at you with those soft, kind eyes, and he listens to what you have to say. He’s also good looking… but for some reason, you just can’t picture yourself dating him, or fucking him.
But you could try.
He’s always had it tough, growing up without a mom. You could always sense a loneliness to him, something that made him… different from everyone else. All you know is you hate making him feel this way. You don’t want to be the reason for his next broken heart.
“Tyler-.”
He shuts you up with a kiss on your open mouth. Before you could explain how you two should go to a movie or something, his soft lips are pressed to yours, slowly licking into your mouth.
You bring a firm hand to his chest. Your fingers are cold compared to the warmth of his bare skin. You try to push him away, but he doesn’t budge.
His kisses feel feverish, like he can’t get enough of you, wanting to devour you whole. He pushes his body weight onto you, making you fall back on the bed.
The kisses don’t stop as he moves between your open legs. You’re finally able to move your mouth away from him.
“Wait, Tyler. I don’t know about this.” Your voice is full of cracks as he takes in the apprehension overcoming your face.
He had hoped you would pity him, making it easier for him to do what he wants with you. You’re his and he is yours. Ben doesn’t compare to him. You just don’t know it yet.
He tries to make the expression on his face gentler, softer, not wanting to scare you.
“I would never do anything to you that you wouldn’t want.” His thumb caresses circles on to your cheek. “You don’t have to worry or think too much. Just relax.” His deep voice sounds almost entrancing. “Don’t you trust me?”
You gaze up at him, considering his words. He takes your lack of response as one, his lips finding yours again.
You let his hands roam over your body, fingers digging into your skin. He finds one of your breasts through your thin pajama shirt, squeezing it and massaging your nipple. His other hand snakes down to your core, rubbing you through your underwear.
Even if he wanted to stop, he can’t. The thing inside him that craves to be satiated is screaming in hunger, and you’re absolutely delicious.
He replaces his hand with his mouth, sucking on your nipple through the fabric, wetting it with his tongue. He can feel your chest start to heave.
A whimper escapes your throat as he slips his fingers under the white cotton, brushing over your swollen bud. You feel his perfect teeth move to your neck, alternating between biting and licking, leaving kisses in his trail as an apology for hurting you.
Your hips buck involuntarily before he takes his hand away from you, wet with your arousal. You practically whine in protest before he reaches up to take your shirt off, your shorts and underwear being pushed down next.
The realization of where this is going hits you, along with the cold air. Watching him pull his boxers down, you could stop him now.
But do you really have a choice?
You feel his leaking tip brush against you, lining himself up before pushing himself inside you.
Ragged breaths leave you as you try to adjust to his size, the fullness being too much for you at first. Pain beginning to meld with the inklings of pleasure.
His pink lips part as he feels you wrapped around him, walls clenching around his throbbing cock. He starts to thrust into you, your hand grasping his bicep as he sinks in deeper.
You get used to his pace, moans falling from you as pleasure clouds your mind. His head falls to the crook of your neck, the caress of his breaths tickling your neck. The monotonous squeak of your mattress plays in the background. An odd sense of comfort envelops you as his bare chest grazes your own.
Then he lifts his head up, a hand grabbing your thigh, pushing your knee to your chest. He ignores your protests, rutting into you mercilessly. The sounds leaving him can only be described as carnal, hot breath fanning over you.
The new angle allows him to pound into you harder and faster, and all you can do is take it. Your whines get louder as he hits your sweet spot. Your eyelids flutter while your only focus is your impending orgasm.
You feel his large hand wrap around your neck, squeezing hard enough to scare you, but not to cut off your air supply.
He likes how your neck is so delicate, your rapid heartbeat right under his fingertips.
“Tyler,” you struggle out.
He’s relentless with how he thrusts into you. A sick part of him is satisfied when he sees a tear finally fall down your cheek, dropping onto the hand that’s still around your throat.
You hate to think of what exactly pushes you over the edge. All you see are stars as pleasure washes over you. You can feel Tyler’s lips brushing against your cheek, licking away your tears.
His pace has gotten careless and it’s not long before a warmth floods you, harsh breaths wracking him.
Tears still blurry your vision as he lies beside you. You can’t help but lean in closer to him, letting him kiss the top of your head, crying into his chest.

Nowhere to Hyde 1 Dark! Tyler Galpin x reader
1
Type: series
Requested: N/A
Summary: At his day job where he masquerades as just a Barista, Tyler meets his mate in the form of the new student at Nevermore.
Warnings: mature 18+ only. dark!Tyler, with yandere themes. Eventually the themes will get darker. Possessiveness, adult themes
Being a new student at Nevermore you were unsure of the people around you. The student body was split into social groups, often reflecting which species they were. For you, someone who didn’t fit that, it made it increasingly hard to find friends. You had no idea where to begin with navigating this strange new school you’d been sent to.
However you quickly caught up with the help of Enid, a friendly and extremely bubbly werewolf. She told you all about the groups on campus, and the history of all the couples, and the teachers, and the rumoured secret societies. It helped a lot to have someone like her around. You became fast friends. You lived close to her on campus and were able to visit often.
You bonded over many shared interest. While you weren’t as preppy as Enid you did class yourself as an optimist. You had to be.
The reason you had been sent to Nevermore was because of your puzzling abilities. While you didn’t have green fingers literally, you did have control over nature. You’d only really experimented with small plants and flowers.
After it had all gone wrong, you’d been sent here. It was a simple mistake. You’d been growing a tree from a sapling to a fully grown adult in your backyard. It took a lot of energy and concentration. What you hadn’t realised is that you were being watched, as some of your fellow school mates shouted at you and jeered, you’d lost concentration.
You could only watch as the branches grew out of control, launching through the windows of your house. The kids in question ran away. Telling anyone who would listen. It put your parents in an awkward position. Although they themselves had strange abilities, it was made clear - you had to leave.
Enid kind of understood what it was like to not fit in. She herself struggled with her lack of Lycan abilities.
When you heard she had a new roommate coming, you both looked forward to seeing a new face. That new face however didn’t look forward to seeing you. Wednesday was bold and honest. She didn’t hold back on anything she said. Her rawness drove people away and in truth it almost drove you and Enid away. But over a couple of weeks you grew as close as you could to the girl. Even though that wasn’t very close.
Over those weeks you and Wednesday talked over the case, leading to new discoveries down the road of Joseph Crackstone, Goody Addams, the case of crazy Rowan and the all too happy therapist. Enid tried not to listen, she thought the both of you crazy and paranoid. Although as time ticked on even she couldn’t deny that something was going on in Nevermore and in Jericho.
You made some serious break throughs, one of those being the discovery of a creature called the Hyde.
You’d kept in contact with your parents, using your weekly phone call to ask about the Hyde creature that seemed a mystery to all. Surprisingly your family had a history with the beast. Dating back generations. You asked for all the information they had to be sent over in the post.
After reviewing it you went to meet Wednesday and at the weathervane.
Tyler was the Hyde, that much was true. He’s been working with Marilynn Thornhill; against his will as it was, to act out her plan to rid Jericho of outcasts.
Trapped as the Hyde and alone with that knowledge had made Tyler paranoid. Paranoid someone would find out, take him away, or try to fix him.
While the murderous tendencies he faced while being the Hyde weren’t ideal, and neither was the blacking out, it made him feel alive. It gave him power he’d never had before.
It was just all being controlled by Thornhill.
His current job was to keep an eye on Wednesday and report back any discoveries she’d made. It was easy enough to do when she kept walking in to do her investigating at the Weathervane. The place he worked.
Sometimes she brought her little friends too. The werewolf, Enid, so bright it made his eyes hurt. The creep Xavier, his previous run ins with the guys had left a sour taste in his mouth.
To get close to Wednesday he’d had to feign some sort of interest in her and her dark ways, which hadn’t been easy. While she was pretty, she wasn’t his type and the hassle of dealing with Xavier would never be worth it.
Yet all his work seemed to have paid of because today she brought someone different. She brought someone new. She brought you.
As soon as you walked in, Tyler was hit by an overpowering scent. The scent so sweet it reminded him of summer. The flowery and vanilla scent engulfed his senses. For a minute he almost stumbled, making him grip the counter for support.
After becoming the Hyde he’d had an increase in his senses. His sight, hearing and smell had all become superhuman.
But no one smelt like you. He was ready to become the Hyde there and then. In the quiet coffee shop, in the normie village. Take you back to his cave and make you his, many time over.
The thoughts made him hot all over. It made blood flow to places he didn’t want it to flow to. It took a lot of deep breathing and some off putting images in his mind to calm his situation.
You sat with Wednesday, smiling brightly as you greeted her. A contrast to her blank stare and cold demeanour. Wednesday already had her drink, whereas you were left without one. This was his opportunity. The shop barely had an customers and those that were here were focusing on work for the most part.
He walked over to see you animatedly explaining something; smile bright, eyes gleaming, hands moving, lips so soft. By the time he’d walked over he had almost forgotten what he went over for.
“Tyler.” A monotone voice greeted.
The girls now stared at him, he needed to keep his cool.
“Wednesday, nice to see you again. And you are?”
You smiled, shooting out a hand for him to shake, “(Y/N), nice to meet you Tyler.”
Your skin was soft, so soft. Your touch send shivers down his spine. He wondered what it would feel like to have you hands on his cheek, in his hair, on his chest, on his -
He clears his throat, “What are you working on?”
“Classwork.” You lie. He can hear your heart beat faster as you struggle to make eye contact. You lied, and to him. But why?
He didn’t let it show on his face, but he was disappointed. Did you not feel what he felt.
“Ah, can I get you a drink or anything?”
Your smile returned and he was grateful, “oh just a (Y/D) please.”
He left to make your drink. Trying again to cool his blood flow.
You took out the old book your family had sent you. Explaining to Wednesday that your family had a history with discovering creatures. The Hyde had a whole chapter in the ancient book. Covering its appearance, it’s behaviour, it’s habitat, it’s mating rituals.
When you asked your parents how your ancestors knew such things they told you that they had close connections with them. Your mothers great great grandmother had been mated to one. Much different to being married to one.
For a Hyde, their abilities often made them uncontrollable. Their infliction occurred from a mutation and would only be triggered by a traumatic event, chemical inducement or hypnosis. Yet when under the control of a master this was rectified.
“So the Hyde is only part of our mystery, we’re looking for a Hyde and it’s Master.” Wednesday stated.
You nodded, smiling politely as you saw Tyler coming over. You shut the book moving it aside.
He placed your drink on the table.
“Thank you Tyler.” You smiled, meeting his eyes.
“No problem, are you working on the case?” He asked.
Wednesday flips her eyes up to Tyler, “Yes we’re researching the Hyde.”
Your eyes widen and they switch between Wednesday and Tyler. She sees your confusion, “Tyler knows about the case.”
“Oh.” You pull your book back out, opening it on the right page.
Tyler looks it over, not having to fake his interest this time. The pages are way past yellow, adorned with brown dust.
Pictures of the Hyde littered the page in various different mediums. Neat cursive writing annotating certain parts of the anatomy. He’s intrigued how you know so much; or how you’ve gotten such an old book about him.
Even Thornhill has little to no idea about Hydes, she just knows how to control them.
“Wow this book looks ancient, where did you find it?”
You explain it’s a family heirloom that’s been passed down and added to. You miss out that you have slight Hyde heritage.
Still you scent is intoxicating and when you move your hair from your shoulders it wafts more his way.
“That is interesting, what have you found?”
“Just a few things about the Hyde really. What it’s triggered by, where it lives, it’s mating process.”
Now that, that caught his attention.
“Really, a mating process . It’s like you’ve got a guide to the Hyde right there.”
Wednesdays eyes widened a fraction, realising that with slight Hyde heritage, it could be you. You noticed her change in demeanour, frowning.
“Are you okay Wednesday?” You asked , concerned.
She nodded, stiff as a board - not all that unusual for the girl, “I forgot I was meeting Xavier later today. You’ll have to excuse me.”
With that she leaves, making you sigh. You don’t know how your going to find your way back to Nevermore now.
Tyler moves to sit in the booth opposite. Analysing your appearance. From your eyes that sparkle in the light, to your hair that shimmers and your hands grip your (Y/D).
“Hey, if you don’t mind I’d love to learn more about the Hyde. Any chance you don’t mind sticking around for a bit?”
“No, not at all.” You smile. And he’s sure he’ll never grow tired of seeing it.
“Great, I finish in 20 minutes. Then I’ll be over.”
Tyler walks back over to the counter. Formulating a plan in his head of how he’s going to get to you. Here you were naive to the fact that he was the Hyde, with a book all about him.
He knew he wasn’t going to let you go anytime soon.

blood lust.
pairing: vampire!fem reader x sheriff!tyler
warnings: dark mature themes + knife play, gun play, heavy degradation, dub-con, non-con. all my characters are over 18, implied age gap.
© to ariasdistress. no translations/reposts.
after months of bickering and tireless efforts with his father, tyler galpin graduated the police programme. taking on the same career as his father, becoming the new sheriff of jericho.
being the sheriff wasn’t a popular position yet he was a lot more beloved than his father. especially by the outcasts. the new sheriff galpin had a certain avoidance - you could call it leniency that was not shared by his father towards the targeted group.
that brings us to now, riding down suburban slopes while the night was still young. you were staring deep in awe of the navy sky, infinite and vast. the overtly deep thinking accelerated from riding off a high fuelled by petty theft. well, stealing booze.
holding up a normie store was actually easier than expected. in complete honesty, you just threatened to drink them dry and to help your case - you were also an attractive vampire, visually the type of ‘sweet girl next door’ that nobody suspects to be a troublemaker.
although, you were quite the contrary even aspiring to be a big time criminal. like a textbook rebel outcast. coming from a broken home, forced to go to nevermore and misbehaved just to feel something; to feel alive.
misbehaving in nevermore was mainly stealing blood bags, smoking behind the sports hall or sometimes doing a little more than ‘fanging out’ with guys in your dorm room after hours.
struck by an idea while riding past a dimly lit house. you gazed in wonder at the isolated structure. far from town with a variety of towering lithe trees surrounding it.
‘perfect’ you clapped your hands together, smiling to yourself. the light of the moon twinkled off your fangs as the alcohol caused a certain swing to your hips. your confidence exhilarated, without a care for the consequences.
karma, however, waits for no vamp.
not realizing sooner that the one inside the home was awake.
watching you.
knowing what you were about to do.
knowing who you were.
with ease you swiftly climbed up the pipe, skilfully opening the lock on the vintage window. “like clockwork” you mumbled happily. a little tug of the lock was needed then you were in. sliding inside and taking in the somewhat messy bedroom.
‘damn, whoever lived here is a slob.. pick up a coffee mug once in a while..’ you thought to yourself.
white sheets contrasted the dark toned clothes scattered across the large bed. a sigh escaped you while your claw shaped nails playfully brushed against a hoodie thrown onto a chair..
you noticed an old desk sat adjacent to it, curiosity starting to arouse your interest as you tiptoed over to the desk. once again messily dispersed with.. case files?
panic quickly spread like an disease causing your eyes to widen. frantically reading the front of the mustard yellow folder.
“property of jericho county police station.”
“holy fuck” your voice became shrill as you muttered. your smugness had been drained and replaced with a sense of pessimism.
“out of all houses to rob?? why the fuck did it have to be sheriff fucking galpin??” you were left with nothing to do but crouch idle next to the bed. hoping, praying to anything out there that nobody was home.
as you got up to leave through the window, the silence broke with the pump of a shotgun echoing behind you.
a symphony of goosebumps ran through your body as you held your hands up in fear. biting at your lower lip. turning around slowly to accept whatever fate had in store for you.
“what is a pretty thing like you doing in my house so late?” an older man grinned. in your mind, far too old to be the freshly 18 tyler galpin that worked at the weathervane while you were a kid. the messy blonde didn’t back down, now aiming the shotgun at your forehead.
you stepped forward taking a closer look at him. almost surprised, it was tyler only quite older, taller and physically much more muscular. he cleared his throat, the sound snapped you back into reality.
“answer me, what the fuck are you doing inside my house.” you tried to respond but your vocal chords shrivelled up, watching the barrel of the shotgun approached closer to you.
your glossy pink lips instantly pouted with eyes welling up in tears, “i-im so sorry sheriff”, you mumbled out. mascara trickling down your flushed cheeks.
knowing deep inside you looked beautiful, you weren’t surprised when dark green eyes fell onto your mirage of sadness.
“see i thought this was my friends house- i wanted to surprise her- it was my first time i-in this new neighbourhood and i-.” you put your all into this act, knowing the only card left to play was the ‘innocent sweet nymph.’
“cut the shit sweetheart” he interrupted, lowering the shotgun yet his stance stayed stern. his strong fingers trailed over his forehead, eyebrows, toward his hair as the corner of his mouth warped into a smirk.
“i can smell a vampire like you from yards away. i’ve been watching you too. for weeks. you’re an amateur at best. thought you were going to rob me huh? fucking airhead.” his voice was spiked with venom as he inched closer.
everyone assumed he broke the generational curse of disliking outcasts - being a normie and all. but nobody except his colleagues knew his secret; his burning hatred for outcasts. developing from his father, he harboured a special animosity especially towards vampires; calling them vermin and leeches behind closed doors.
“n-no sir i couldn’t even dream of robbing you, i’m um just a bit tipsy and wanted to surprise a friend! honest!” pleading, you realised the ‘innocent girl’ was fading. you swallowed the lump in your throat, the atmosphere in the room now becoming unbelievably tense.
tyler burst out laughing, “do you think i’m stupid y/n i’ve been watching you this entire time. you vampires really think you’re better than everybody? your ego needs to be brought down a few pegs doll.”
you felt your blood boil, why was he being so mean? sure, this wasn’t the most optimal of situations but you being a vampire had nothing to do with this.
“sheriff.. me being a vampire doesn’t have anything to do with this. if you let me go, you won’t ever see me again. please.” tears flowed mixing with your eyeliner while your voice started wobbling out of a mixture of anger and fear.
the last thing you wanted was to be on tomorrow’s local news as the idiotic thief who got caught stealing in a sheriff’s home.
“keep crying pretty like that and i just might let you go.” sheriff galpin joked, before whacking you with the side of his shotgun. the sting greeting your cheek as you laid there in pure agony.
“i’ll teach you a lesson, doll, one you won’t forget” the world was spinning out of focus. the blurred image of a malicious grin and strong arms lifting you was the only thing left. only moments later, engulfed in complete darkness.
you awoke to being bound. legs and arms restrained in cuffs behind your back as you kneeled in front of tyler, his dark boots took up your eyesight.
you could almost taste the dampness of the room. was this a basement? a prison? you jolted at his rough fingertips lining your jawline, forcing you to look up at him.
“aren’t you a vision for sore eyes? never knew a bloodsucker could be this lovely looking...” he whispered. the older male now turning your face to observe your every feature. the left side of your face was red, ready for bruising while your long lashes parted. showcasing your dark eyes staring knives and daggers at tyler.
“fuck you.” you were able to mumble out before you were met with another pain. a large hand tugged on your hair violently, gesturing your face toward his boots. after struggling and fighting against his grip nothing was working.
“lick them. whore.” strings of your hair began to pluck out, deciding to give into his demands quickly. you sobbed as you licked a small stripe on his black boots. a shine forming where your saliva met his boots.
wincing, you spat out the taste without hesitation. with rage consuming your mind.
“don’t look at me like i’m a bad guy sweetheart. you did this, but i’ll be nice. i promise.” tyler hummed, cupping your face, almost lovingly with his palm. he pointed to the end of the room, pivoting your head to look at it.
“let’s just make a little home video, to show the guys at the force what happens to pretty little outcasts who decide to become petty criminals”. he smiled, sinister intent masking any kindness left behind his mossy eyes.
before you could utter a word of objection, tyler slashed his palm with a silver kitchen knife. hissing, pushing the dripping blood up to your mouth. your tongue lapped up the blood like a starved animal with greedy fangs greeting the sheriff’s palm.
you scanned the older man’s face through wet lashes; maroon orbs twinkling while you whimpered against his cut for more blood, tongue pushing and swirling around his wound. tyler looked down at you, hating himself for admiring how pretty you were under the broken lights.
“god you’re a good girl. you’re so obedient for me.” the blonde praised, using a free hand to run through your hair. after soaking up every drop you detached your fangs from his hand, licking the excess from your lips making sure the older man saw it.
tyler used his wounded hand to rub your bruised cheek, cooing sorrys and awws. being blood-drunk you leaned into tyler’s palm like a touch starved pet, hoping he would feed you again.
the sweetness of the action turned into malice as he grabbed a handful of your hair, forcing your lips to crash into the crotch of his sweatpants. he laughed while the outline of his hardening cock rubbed up against your lips and nose.
“you’re so stupid, it’s almost cute. thought i’d gone soft on you huh?” the corner of his lips turning upwards as he turned his body towards the camera - hoping it catches your every pitiful sound as you whimpered in protest against the thick fabric.
whines and no’s left your lips as you tried your best to keep them shut. you felt like crying out for help again, but you knew it wasn’t any use.
his hand sneaked down and grabbed your cheeks, pushing them open as his other hand slid his sweatpants and boxers down in a singular motion. his pale cock sprung free, precum leaking down his blushing shaft.
staring in awe of his length, it was so thick you could feel your throat closing up. tyler couldn’t help but fight back a smile looking at your desperate expression, wanting to run his tip over your perfectly shaped lips.
“suck. if you use your fangs i’ll break your jaw, leech.” he spat, gripping your jaw tighter towards his throbbing cock. you opened your mouth, sticking your tongue out as the sheriff gestured to you to lick it.
it was beyond embarrassing knowing you were being filmed. giving pet-like licks to an older man’s cock but you couldn’t help but fight a growing impatience between your legs. how tyler’s disheveled blonde hair, low eyes and big muscular arms enchanted you into wanting more.
growing impatient of the teasing from your blood covered tongue, he forced himself into you. groans left the older man as you glanced up at him. his lips half open and brows scrunched together in pleasure; you hummed around his cock, rubbing your thighs together for any kind of friction - shamelessly imagining tyler’s thick fingers inside you instead.
“keep looking at me, just like that slut. that’s all you’re fucking good for. god you’re pretty with my cock inside your filthy mouth.” the male growled, bottoming out inside you with your drool coating the base of his cock entirely. his hands found their place in your fluffy hair, interwoven in your locks to fuck your mouth deeper.
hoping tyler wouldn’t notice, your fangs lightly grazed the tip of his cock as he pulled out. unfortunately he did, his agonising grip getting firmer craning your neck up to look at him.
“the one thing i asked for you not to fucking do, you brainless airhead. you fucking deserve for this.” he cut himself off with a groan of frustration. he grabbed your waist and spun you around, angrily unlocking both the cuffs to spread your legs. dropping to the floor like a ragdoll, your ass was up in the air while he palmed your heat through the denim shorts.
“please.. stop.. sheriff please. i’m a virgin.” you told him the truth, hoping he would show you some mercy. sure you did stuff, but never to the extent of getting fucked, this fact embarrassed you beyond belief.
“you should’ve thought twice about that, hopefully that tight little cunt will listen to me.. maybe i’ll send this to your parents too huh sweetheart?” tyler sneered, his cut hand groping the exposed skin of your ass that the shorts couldn’t cover. wishing to crush whatever spirit you had left, he wanted you to submit completely to him.
large veiny hands creeped down your body, “look how slutty a virgin like you dresses. pathetic, like you’re begging to get fucked against your will” he mumbled in your ear, large hand coercing your jaw to look at the camera in front of you. tyler’s other hand perfectly cupping your tits, twisting the hardening peaks through your thin black shirt.
“smile for the camera sweetheart, tell them how you’re about to lose your virginity to a man old enough to be your dad” he softly spoke smiling toward the lens, his deceivingly loving touch creeped lower to skilfully undo your denim shorts. realising what was going to happen you sobbed quietly, your cries evaporated. “shut the fuck up” sheriff whispered ripping your shirt into pieces from your back. the black fabric caressed the ground.
at this point the large video camera was facing you as you were on all fours, your arms shaking from holding your weight up. the metal cuffs did a number your skin, with bruises forming from the violent friction. trying to cower and hide your privacy didn’t work with tyler as he kneeled behind you, forcing your legs apart in his presence.
awe and wonder contorted the sheriff’s face, drinking in your puffy leaking cunt.. “prettiest cunt i’ve ever seen” he spoke, loud enough so only you could hear it before rubbing your entrance softly.
your face flushed at the sounds behind you, unable to wait tyler slapped his cock around your wet pussy. slowly rubbing the tip of his head against your ball of nerves, grunts of satisfaction leaving his parted lips.
the screen next to the camera filled with the image of you getting violated. your were lips bitten trying not to let out noise when tyler glanced at the screen pissed off that you were holding back.
he slapped your ass painfully, enjoying the look of the skin rippling. “make as much sound as you like sweetheart. i’m sure the guys down at the the station would love to hear how i break you down into nothing but a whore.”
just as he finished his sentence, you felt his thick head poke at your entrance, “you’re so tight, i might not even fit.” forcing himself inside, a groan leaving his mouth as his entire throbbing cock hugged the inside of you. you whispered profanities to yourself, not wanting to make noise.
your wetness didn’t help your unstretched cunt from latching onto him, making it unable for him to move. the glint of the knife next to him grabbed his attention. sadism taking over, he started cutting into another part of his bloodied hand and bringing it around to your lips.
the scent and sound of blood droplets on the floor made your brows perk up, blood-lust ran through your veins as you soft inhaled the aroma. the mouth watering, sweet scent of blood.
you caught onto what the sheriff was doing as your vision filled with cloudiness, his deep voice sounding like a hallucination.
“drink up.. don’t make me force it down your delicate little throat” his voice was like molasses to you but his blood smelled sweeter. his heartbeat was quickening, the sound of his blood travelling through his veins filling your ears.
you couldn’t fight it back anymore. letting yourself slip with your fangs leading the way. letting the wet skin touch your lips as you consumed the red liquid, wanting to drain his hands. tyler laughed at the scene feeling how soaked you were getting.
pushing his hand against your mouth, the older male grabbed at your waist. squeezing your skin as he bucked his hips inside you, making you cry our. tyler used his cut up hand to grab a handful of your hair, pounding you in the process. euphoria washed across your face as you tried to protest but nothing came out your throat except needy sounds.
“you’d fuck anyone on camera if they gave you some blood huh?” like second nature you cried out for tyler, his name the only thing on your broken mind. he drove his cock into the spongy part of your insides, making you gasp out ‘no’s’ - not wanting to climax so soon.
“no? no??? you want to say no to me?” the sheriff’s voice darkened, dragging out the last sentence as he reached for a pistol behind him. in the same motion he pulled out, pushing his entire length deep inside of you. rapidly hitting your cervix at a pace your body couldn’t keep up with.
large hands played with the pistol. a calloused finger dancing with the trigger, the gun was ghosting around your skull. cold metal pushed against the temple of your head, fear erupting - you felt beyond helpless.
breathless moaning and efforts to finish your sentence fell short. his cock felt full inside you and you didn’t even realise your hips were moving.
“you’re choking my dick so fucking good. you like this pervert? i should put a bullet in your head?” his hand rapidly traced down your body, gliding over your soft skin. the blonde rubbed your clit mercilessly, forcing you into let out shameless noises.
skin smacking against each other and high pitched moans left your plump, dark red and bitten lips. you turned around to look at him, both your eyes connecting to catch a longing gaze.
dark red nails scratched into the floor of his basement as your release neared closer. the older man noticed how your swollen cunt gripped his cock every time he degraded you.“everyone’s going to see how stupid you get on my dick now? are you proud slut?”
“please, sheriff ‘m gonna cum” you yelled out, clamping your pussy involuntarily against his cock. tyler was close, his pace becoming animalistic, letting his cock think for him. mere moments after, your insides were filled with his warm cum. his cock pulled out of you causing your body collapse.
in response tyler dropped his gun to the floor. his strong arms held your unconscious body up - his hands carrying your thick thighs. spreading your legs apart to show the camera your pussy, his cum dripping to the floor shamelessly.
“this stupid bimbo won’t be stealing anytime soon”

"I won't cry for you" - Yandere Tyler Galpin x Female Reader PART 3
•Part 1 •Part 2
Words: 1699
Warnings: Mentions of torture, psychology, dysfunction yet healthy family relations if you squint.
Show: Wednesday (2022)
Summary: You've graciously or stupidly, granted Tyler a phone to call his father for whatever reason he had while you went to call yours for assistance. And since you weren't fully knowledgeable about Hydes, you contacted the only person you knew, who wasn't in prison, that had that knowledge. Your father, Alvin Gates.
• •
🥺 Sorryyyy this took forever a lot of months, planned to post this at February but got sick and many stuff happened, preparing for an interview :--D but am back in my writing mojo!/kinda, HAPPY HALLOWEEN) AND I HEARD season 2 is coming omggg I'm excited
————
"Well, well, well~ If it isn't the sweet consequence of my actions with your mother." A voice unmistakably grouchy speaks, sounding jovial with every word out.
A quick glance to your locked bedroom door before you finally said a response into the cellphone.
"You sound well, father." You mildly greeted, a tinge of a smile in your voice. To think it's almost only been a month since the last call.
"Yeah yeah it's been a while but cut the chitchat, sweetie, what do you need helping with?" You could imagine an eyeroll as your father said, always cutting to the chase.
"About Hydes." You spared no other detail and maintained calm articulation. Not that you needed to be careful with him, thankfully.
For more precaution, it's better if not even your own father knows about Tyler being in the house. You didn't want things to get out of hand.
"Ah- what about them? Did something happen that isn't supposed to–" Suddenly silence overtook the line, a thoughtful humming until he spoke again. "Don't get yourself into any unfamiliar territory, kid. That's suppose to be your mother's speciality."
So he noticed, of course he did. Better leave that to his wandering imagination than spoil your plan. A very non-existent plan at the moment.
"I don't plan to. Father, I was just curious since I kept hearing about them." True, that wasn't a lie in the slightest. "I was wondering if you'd know anything about them."
Surely he must know something.
"Hmm, you heard it from someone, no doubt. . . Alright, alright. What do you want to know exactly, kid. I'll tell ya as much as I can afford to." Sounds like mother has been keeping tabs on him.
"Hydes obey only one master, their own, correct?" You continued when father hummed a helpful tune, "would it be possible to sever the ties between a Hyde and its master."
A pause in-between your father's breathing left you suspended.
"Well. . . Got bad news for you kid, I don't know any available methods for that." He sighed gruffy like he felt bad, "sorry but can't help you with the whole severing business. It's set in stone, pretty much."
"I see. . . " You massaged your temples, disappoinment rising inside you. But you couldn't just accept this answer easily, stubbornness seemed to take hold in your heart. For what reason? You couldn't figure out.
"However–" A hoarse chuckle emerged from your cellphone. "It's not entirely impossible to say there aren't other ways of solving that problem. I'm sure you can get some creative ideas from their origins, kid. Only one thing is set in stone, Hydes only serve one master."
Father's bold hint sparked a lightbulb in your head. Their origins.
In the first place, what caused Hydes to bond an undying loyalty to their masters was–
"Sorry for not being alot of help, kid, I'm out of time for the day. Take good care of yourself, will you."
"I will." A buzz of excitement slowly crept over you as an idea began running through your mind. "You were very helpful, dad, thanks. You take care too."
"Mm sounds like you found an answer eh?" He sounded genuinely happy, making you feel much more sturdy in this new plan.
"Not exactly but I should be on the right track." If Tyler would go along with it.
"Mm so you're going to try any attempts, I see. Hah– it's hilarious how similar you and your mother's thinking is!"
Again with the comparisons. You rolled your eyes, "Goodbye, father."
"Alright alright, see ya kiddo. For now." BEEP. BEEP.
The call was over already.
. . .
You turned off the burner phone, picking out the block of battery from the back and saving it in your other hiding space for another time. Now you should check on Tyler, you can't afford to trust him so easily especially when his father's a sheriff.
Quietly you went out of your bedroom, closing the door slowly so as to not make a sound. You headed down the stairs in a casual, fast pace to quickly see his state of mind.
But it's likely he isn't planning to screw himself over... Your assumption was most likely made correct when you came to see Tyler sitting slumped on the couch, his face buried deep in his hands.
Sweeping your gaze across the living room and floor, the burner phone you gave him was nowhere in sight… Mentally noting to check the trash bin by the kitchen before you stomped down the stairs and made yourself known.
Tyler's eyes peeked up first from the gaps in-between his fingers like the leafy venus flytraps back home ever so often tempting you to closer inspect. To place your finger in there, to feed.
He waited on your next move.
Your arms folded, hiding your hands twitching on their own for a tweezer. "Did you have a good talk?"
What else could you really say without sounding too interested in him.
"It was something…" Tyler did a small shrug, less energy than he's shown before, voice dulled by the cover of his fingers. "Could've gone better. I wish he didn't hang up so fast."
"What did you talk about?" Might as well see how much information he was willing to give.
A small sigh, Tyler slowly revealed half of his distraught face. "Not a lot. He wasn't interested in what I had to say… Told me to be careful." Strange of the dutiful sheriff to say but then again you didn't know what kind of father-son relationship they had.
"How are you feeling?" One of mother's favourite lines growing up that you've somehow adapted into your vocabulary. It seemed the most appropriate.
You continued watching Tyler's tensed form with a safe but short distance away, the coffee table acting as a possible shield in between you and him. Incase he raged.
But there was none.
There was something in his usual silence this time that irked you. Like he didn't fully trust you.
You approved of that, as he shouldn't. Mutually. Especially if things ever go wrong because of him, you were ready at a moment's notice to abandon everything to do with him.
"I… Hate him."
The pause went on for however many tensed seconds before Tyler's hands fell onto his knees.
"Sorry sorry, I know I shouldn't be saying this… I mean I can't say I don't miss him."
"You can say what you want. I don't mind," you said flatly, genuinely meaning it. His expressions stiff, he looked mentally pent up, thoughts practically steaming out from his ears.
"No, it's fine. You've done a lot for me already, I owe you." He grinned brightly, the dark cloud looming over from before gone in an instant, "for that phone call too."
"Sure," it wouldn't be bad to have a Hyde indebted to you.
Tyler checked the ticking clock on the kitchen wall, "I guess it is getting late… See you in the morning?"
You nodded. "Night, Galpin."
"G-Good night! Have a good sleep." He smiled dopey, waving briskly while walking backwards to the foot of the stairs before jogging up to his bedroom. So naturally at home.
Just how eager was he to get back in his room?
That wasn't his usual way of walking, what could he be looking forward to or hiding in there… Or he could just be relieved of stress after that talk with his father, maybe that brought about his new behavior.
Your suspicions were beginning to sound far-fetched even to yourself but then again, there was always that silver of possibility that he could be planning to rebel against you.
So you moved fast towards the kitchen sink, tiny spikes of uneasiness pulsing through you, turning the facuet on and letting the water run loudly as you went to look into the trash bin.
Expecting to look down into a void of nothingness.
The large black plastic bag sleeved over the edge of the bin looked loose and puffy. Clearly you didn't do this, your meticulousness wouldn't allow such a lazy set up. You pat down the puffy areas, flattening the edges to allow better access in seeing what trash had been collected.
Shiny peices of black metal greet you at the bottom of the pit, tiny and almost powder-like glitter in the kitchen light. What previously used to be a burner phone now looked like the result of being in someone's clenched fist. Useful monsterous strength… if he could actually get it under his full control.
Whatever anxiety crept inside your heart disappeared as you contently spun on your heel and turned off the kitchen faucet.
A small appreciation for Tyler as thanks to him, there's less work for you now.
You wondered why you even felt 'anxious' at all, it must've been the slight stress of knowing he could've screwed things up for you. And himself. Now that makes sense, of course since it's not as if you actually knew him personally even back in town.
Feeling much more at peace, you headed towards your own bedroom, adjacent from Tyler's. His room barely made any noise except for the few inaudible mumbles and the faint use of his shower and the light peeking through from underneath his door.
You never noticed before but he always had the lights turned on in there. Well, it's not as if you were the one paying the electrical bill. It was nothing noteworthy.
Once settling in your own bed and underneath your blanket in the cozy dark, sleep came easily… Until your brain jostled an interesting observation your very eyes must've slipped.
In the trash bin, there was no sight of the small black piece. The memory card.
The sim card.
Despite his questionable actions, you chose to sleep, thoughts racing alongside a strange excitement building up in you.
Oh what are you up to, Tyler Galpin.
Time was ticking. Neither on his or your side. He just didn't know it yet.
In the following morning you received a misscall from an unknown number. Father. He never contacts you first. There's nothing he needs that you could provide. It must be about the Hyde.
Finally.

Hi could you do yandere Tyler galpin x reader headcannons
He is very possessive to the point where he scares away his obsessions friends so that his obsession spends more time with him, he won’t actually scare away their friends face to face but does it anonymously through death treats and animal carcasses left in their lockers/at their house with a treat that if they don’t leave his obsession alone then they will end up like that. He pretends to be very concerned about his obsession and has given himself one of those death treats so that he would not be seen as someone who could be the culprit, especially after he is constantly seen consoling his obsession and making sure to make his obsession happy with distractions and free drinks at the weathervane. He will make himself look like he can’t do anything wrong whenever he is around his obsession, pretty much making him look like the ideal person to be around with especially when people have socially outcasted his obsession even when the death threats have stopped.
He has pretty much shown his obsession that no matter what happens he will always be there for them and nothing will be able to keep him away from them so when he asks them to be his partner their only natural response is to agree to be in a relationship with them, especially since Tyler has pulled out all the stops and asked them that in a very carefully planned out date. He won’t let his father get in the way of dating his obsession, so if his father tries to interfere he will just yell at him that he never around so how can he decide what is best for him when he doesn’t even know what Tyler likes. He likes to take pictures of his obsession whenever they are hanging out with each other and post them on social media/print them out to put them in a photo album. He also has notes on what his obsession likes and dislikes and often adds new things to them, he wants to know what his obsessions preferences are so that he can make sure that whenever they are together it is just a perfect or a good time, he makes sure to remember little things they told him and also uses that information to give his obsession little/small gifts catered to their likes.

Tyler Owens x Reader: Where You Belong
Prompt: you're caught in the middle of a tornado, tyler's there in the aftermath.
Word count: 6k
Warnings: angst, blood mention
A/N: surprise surprise, & not what i usually write, but twisters has recently been consuming my entire life. so here's an angsty lil imagine of hurt reader being comforted by the wrangler himself.
You made it about fifteen minutes down the road before you realized that you’d forgotten your phone… Again.
After patting down your pockets and digging through your tote bag the best you could without crashing the car– you straightened yourself in the driver’s seat and sighed defeatedly.
Stupid, you thought. Although you weren’t really that surprised by your mistake. You’d never been particularly attached to your phone, and this certainly wasn’t the first time you’d left it behind.
But you’d been trying to be more mindful about remembering it. And just like that, Tyler’s voice popped into your head– no doubt scolding you for your carelessness. ‘What if something happened and I had to get a hold of ya?’
Thanks to another wild storm system brewing all over the midwest, Tyler was out chasing again today. And although you’d checked in on him earlier in the day, you knew there was always the possibility that things changed. Storms shifted– gained power, sometimes his team (although rarely) got things wrong. A pang of guilt spread through your chest at the thought– what if something happened to him out there and he needed to reach you?
You could turn back and get your phone, of course. But you were already so close to town. And all you needed was a bottle of shampoo and a birthday cake for Tyler. You could be in and out of Lawton in less than half an hour if you were quick– home before he even knew you’d left your phone behind again.
What could really go wrong?
…
“Talk to me, Dani– what do you see?” Tyler asked into the walkie. They’d been tracking a handful of storms for the past few hours– Tyler watching the clouds, and Dani studying the radar. Right now, there were two that had peaked his interest– One was formulating south, the other to the northeast.
“The storm south has higher wind speeds, but I think it’ll fade if it shifts. The other one has a weaker wind shear, but higher pressure. Either one has the chance to form or go, so I say trust your gut,” they answered.
Tyler shifted his grip on the steering wheel, studying the dark, circling motion in the distance.
“What’re you thinkin’, T?” Boone asked, camera trained on Tyler.
He sunk his teeth into his bottom lip– trying to focus.
“Less moisture, less potential for an updraft, but way higher winds if we go south. Northeast though… she’s already got the motion and momentum, she just needs the winds to shift...”
Boone stayed quiet– he knew that when Tyler talked out loud, it was generally rhetorical.
Tyler took his eyes off the sky to study the world around him for a moment.
“No pressure, T,” Dani said through the walkie.
“Yeah,” Lilly chimed in. “We just spent all damn day chasing these things–”
“South,” he said suddenly. “I say let’s chase south.”
…
Less than thirty minutes later, Tyler was standing in the middle of a wheat field with his hands on his hips and a frown on his face.
The storm had fizzled with the shifting winds, leaving them with nothing but a few scattered showers that mixed in with the sweat already pooling on his skin.
“S’alright, T,” Boone said encouragingly with a shrug. He clapped him on the back. “We can’t catch ‘em all.”
Tyler sighed before joining Dani where they sat on the edge of the truck, scanning for other potential storms in the area.
“What’s that there?” Tyler asked, pointing to what appeared to be a storm system heading west.
Dani frowned. “What the hell… I think that’s the storm from earlier– the one moving northeast.”
“So it shifted?”
“Shifted?” Boone said, lowering his camera for a moment to glance towards Tyler. “Where to? Can we make it in time?”
Tyler frowned, studying the movement.
“That’s strange,” Dani mumbled under their breath. With a few clicks, they expanded the screen, showing a wider radius.
“What’s strange?” Boone asked.
Ignoring him, Tyler scanned the system, trying to trace the path without actually calculating it. “You don’t think–”
Dani glanced his way. “Holy shit–”
“Hello?” Boone said. “Y’all gonna share with the rest of the class?”
“I think she’s headin’ for Lawton,” Dani finally whispered.
And although he’d been thinking it, all the color drained from his face when it was actually spoken out loud.
“Lawton?” Dexter asked, voice laced with concern.
“Oh shit-” Lilly whispered.
Lawton was the closest city to where the two of you lived– if it hit there, thousands of people could be in danger. And if it shifted again, even the slightest bit– it could head right for your small town instead.
Despite the humidity, everything inside of Tyler went cold as he imagined you at home– puttering around the garden, blissfully unaware of what might be coming.
“Will you uh, pass me– pass me my phone, Boone?” Tyler stammered, standing up from the truck bed.
Boone reached into the backpack scattered near his feet and handed over Tyler’s cell phone, placing it in his outstretched hand. Tyler muttered a quick thank you before walking a few strides away as he pulled up your contact information.
The call rang five times before making it to voicemail– your sweet voice asking him to leave a message and you’d get back to him.
“Hey, baby– it’s me. Call me back as soon as you can. Alright, love ya.”
He clicked the phone off before immediately trying again.
“C’mon,” he muttered as the line continued to ring. “C’mon, baby, c’mon,” he hummed nervously, kicking the grass with his boots when he heard your voicemail. “Hey– me again. Listen, I’m not trying to scare ya, but there might be a storm comin’ and I just wanna make sure you’re safe. Give me a call please.”
He paced back towards the group, sending you a quick text just for good measure as he did.
“Alright, what’s the plan here?” Dexter asked.
But Tyler wasn’t paying much attention as he obsessively dialed you for a third time.
“What’s wrong, T?” Boone wondered.
Without looking up from his phone, Tyler exhaled a frustrated breath. “She’s never got her damn phone on her– that’s what’s wrong.” The second he heard your voicemail for a fourth time, he chucked his phone towards his bag. “Damnit!”
Boone swallowed thickly. “I’m sure she’s fine–”
Tyler hung his head. After a moment, he nodded, although he wasn’t entirely convinced that would remain the case if he didn’t get in touch with you fast. He ran his hands through his hair and tried to breathe–
You were fine, he told himself. You were home, you’d hear the alerts if they were necessary, you knew to get into the basement.
Tyler took a long, steadying breath. “Dani, what’s the speed of this thing?”
“Uh, it’s moving– thirty-five miles per hour directly west. I think she’s gaining speed, though.”
“Alright, she’s fast,” Tyler remarked. “We have to be faster. Let’s head home, ladies and gents, we can take cover at my place once I know everyone’s safe.”
“You got it, T,” Lilly said.
“Stay safe everyone,” Dani replied as they all dispersed to their respective vehicles.
Tyler and Boone climbed back into the truck, tires screeching as they sped west towards Lawton, and home towards you.
…
You were inside the bakery on Lowell Street– Tyler’s favorite place for any and all pastries, when you heard the thunder.
Although thunder in Oklahoma wasn’t exactly a rare occurrence, it was enough to make you turn your attention outside, just to see what kind of storm you might be up against on the drive home.
“It’s gettin’ dark out there,” Gloria, the owner, said. She glanced at you over the counter and blew a strand of graying hair out of her face.
You nodded in agreement, jumping slightly when another crack of thunder rang through the air. “Sounds like it’s getting closer,” you noticed.
“I still can’t believe that boyfriend of yours goes out of his way to chase these storms. And his friends, too.”
You scoffed. “Yeah, me either. Bunch of adrenaline junkies.”
“Not me,” Gloria smirked. “We get enough chaos in this life, I don’t need to be chasin’ it.”
You returned her smile, recognizing that you might have more in common with the sixty-something year old baker in town than you did your own boyfriend. But you supposed that your differences were what drew you to Tyler. He was brave and thrilling and so alive. Although what he did scared the absolute shit out of you, there was nothing better than watching him exude excitement and just pure joy after he got home from a particularly powerful storm.
“Was he and his crew trackin’ anything out here?” Gloria asked, using the tube of blue icing to write the birthday message you’d requested on top of Tyler’s cake.
“Not here,” you replied. “He was south of OKC last I checked in.”
Which, you realized, had been far longer than you anticipated thanks to not having your phone. You mentally kicked yourself again for leaving it behind. If you’d brought it with you, you could have just given him a call now. Because unless he was smack dab in the middle of a goddamn tornado, he always answered your calls. Just a few reassurances from him could’ve calmed your fears about the storm brewing outside– told you that it was just a thunderstorm passing through.
Not every thunderstorm means a tornado, he had said, you didn’t even know how many times by now. And each time allowed you to relax a little. Because unlike your boyfriend, you didn’t enjoy weather in quite the same way. In fact, after an EF4 had ripped through your home when you were just a child, you did your best to stay as far from tornadoes as Oklahoma allowed.
“I’m sure it’s just thunder,” you began.
But before you could finish your sentence, you heard the sudden pitter patter of hail beginning outside. Gloria lowered the icing tube while you took another step closer to the window to peer out.
Dark, gloomy clouds swirled through the sky.
That was when you heard the sirens. Loud and clear, they echoed through your ears in a terrifying, grim warning.
…
As the storm tracked faster and faster the closer they got, Tyler’s first stop was your shared home just outside of Lawton.
He didn’t even bother turning the truck off before he was hurling himself across the lawn, towards the front door. But before he even looked inside, his stomach dropped when he noticed your SUV wasn’t parked in its typical spot.
Regardless, he practically ripped open the front door before running into the house, calling your name loudly into each room he searched, hoping that maybe you’d lent your car to your mom again– or magically parked it in the garage that was stuffed full of his gear.
But it was no use– you weren’t there.
He knew that for good as soon as he flung open the door to your shared bedroom. The bed was neatly made, pillows arranged perfectly– and your phone sitting on the nightstand table, plugged in and clearly far away from you.
“Damnit!” he yelled, kicking the door frame frustratedly. Chest rising and falling rapidly, Tyler pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to think. Frustration and anger brewed inside of him, but he knew that underneath all of that was fear– for you and your safety. All he wanted was to have you in his sights again– although preferably wrapped up in his embrace, the only spot he could ensure you were safe... Where you belonged.
Suddenly, an idea popped into his head. Tyler made his way across the room and picked your phone up from the nightstand. Your background– a picture of you and him taken during your trip to Texas last year, lit up the screen. Accompanying it were the slew of notifications you’d missed– the first was the severe weather alert, the next few were all the missed calls from him. But at the very bottom of your screen was a reminder notification– one that allowed him to finally exhale the breath he’d been holding since he burst into the house.
Get Tyler a bday cake.
Sliding your phone into his back pocket, he raced back down the stairs to find Boone standing on the front lawn.
“She’s in town,” he said, rushing towards his truck.
Boone followed close behind. “How do you know?”
“If nothing else,” Tyler said, climbing into his truck, “she follows her schedule.”
…
“Gloria, you gotta listen to me–” you pleaded, hurrying around the counter to grab her hand. “If the sirens are goin’ off, it means we don’t have much time. Does the bakery have a basement, or– or a shelter?”
Gloria’s watery eyes met yours. Your heart sank the moment she shook her head dreadfully.
“Okay,” you said shakily, trying not to panic. What would Tyler do? You looked around the bakery– with its old walls and sagging roof, you knew it wasn’t safe to stay here.
“Gloria, we gotta go,” you said urgently. “We gotta find somewhere safe to be.”
With that, you tugged her towards the exit.
As soon as you were outside, you felt the fierce wind whip your face, along with a few staggering pieces of hail. There was debris– leaves and sticks flying around in every which way, making it hard to see past what was right in front of you.
Although you were trying to be vigilant, you didn’t even see the scrap of metal fly by your face. “Shit!” you exclaimed, feeling it graze your cheek. Ripped skin was quickly followed by the feeling of warm blood trickling across your skin.
“Are you alright?” Gloria asked, grabbing your arm.
You used your free hand to press against your cheek before nodding. “We gotta get out of here,” you said.
But just as you turned to try and gauge your surroundings, hoping to come up with a shred of a plan, you froze at what was looming in the distance.
Winds whipped rapidly, the sky boomed, and a dark, wide funnel had formed– it’s tip already touching down on the ground. And it was coming straight for you.
“Gloria, we gotta go–” you cried. “Now!”
…
Tyler drove as fast as he could– foot nearly pressed down on the ground. He drove like his life depended on it. Because yours did–
The truth was– he’d never given much thought to losing you. He was generally too preoccupied with wondering what you’d do if you lost him. He was the one putting himself in danger all the time, he was the one forcing his way in the middle of these storms.
He didn’t know what he’d do without you– except be a shell of who he was now.
“Holy shit–” he heard Boone say from the passenger seat.
Tyler refocused his attention ahead, his eyes widening the second he saw what Boone was fixated on.
It was hard to miss the giant, fucking tornado barreling right for Lawton’s array of buildings.
“We’re too late–” Tyler croaked. “We’re too fucking late–”
“She’s smart,” Boone assured Tyler. “She knows where to go and what to do.”
Tyler’s knuckles turned white as he tightened his grip on the steering wheel. He pressed his foot down on the accelerator and drove faster.
…
In retrospect, the laundromat probably wasn’t the best place for you to be. But there were few windows and the back room was lined with secure piping, all which jetted deeply into the ground, creating a solid anchoring point.
There were a few other people huddled in the same room, already low on the ground and clutching onto one another.
“Hold on to that!” you cried, practically pushing Gloria towards the corner of the room. She wound her frail arms around the piping before crouching down. You were right beside her, arms locked tightly on the piping as you felt the building start to shake.
The storm outside was deafening. Winds whistled and boomed. You were pretty sure the woman beside you was screaming– but you couldn’t hear her above the noise of everything else. You tried to be brave– the way you knew Tyler would be if he were here.
Once, about three years ago, an EF3 hit his parent’s ranch while the two of you were staying there for a long weekend. You remembered the way he stayed so calm, so collected through it all. After ushering everyone into the storm shelter, he wrapped his strong arms around you, anchoring you to him. The ranch didn’t shake like this though… And even though you’d been scared that night, it paled in comparison to what you felt now.
This building was weak– the structure was unsound. You had no idea how close the tornado actually was, but you knew this thing wasn’t going to stay put. It was just a matter of if the pipes went deep enough into the ground and if you could hold on to them. Because you didn’t have Tyler holding on for you this time.
You hoped he was somewhere safe– maybe tracking the storm that was about to kill you from a reasonable distance.
“Everything’s going to be okay,” you told Gloria, sweaty palms making your grip slip. “Just hold on–”
The building began to shake harder– the very foundation rocking beneath you. Shortly after, pieces of the roof began tearing off, exposing the thunderous storm raging above.
“I don’t–” Gloria cried. “I don’t think I can hold on!”
You tried loosening your own grip– hoping you could wrap your arms around her like Tyler had done for you before, or do something to help. But then you heard another ear splitting roar, and suddenly, the entire roof was being ripped off from the building. There was nothing you could do. You weren’t strong enough–
“Hold on!” you screamed, tucking your head into your elbow and squeezing your eyes shut. “Just a little longer!”
But as the words left your lips, even you didn’t believe them.
…
By the time they finally reached town, the tornado had already moved on.
Part of the reason why Tyler loved tornados so much was their power and speed. In his eyes– it was nothing short of an act of God to see what damage a simple funnel of wind could do in just a matter of minutes, sometimes seconds.
Until he was faced with the inevitable tragedy of it all.
Because it was one thing to see trees uprooted, or tractors rolled over. It was another to see an entire town had succumbed to a pile of debris– vehicles thrown this way and that– metal and siding and bricks scattered over every inch of the flat land– To know that people, his friends, his neighbors, you could be buried underneath piles of rubble– bodies broken and bleeding and hurt if they were lucky enough to be alive at all.
Tyler brought his truck to a screeching halt, not even hesitating before he was ripping off his seatbelt and hurling himself out of his seat. The second his boots hit the mud, he screamed your name as loud as he could.
Eyes whipping around, he tried to process the scene before him. But it was hard to gauge where anything used to be– there was practically nothing left.
“Tyler!” he heard someone scream in the distance. Head whipping to the side, he saw Lilly, waving her arms frantically.
For a moment, Tyler let himself get his hopes up. He raced across the distance between them as fast as he could, despite all the obstacles in his way. But when he finally reached her, he was devastated to see that you weren’t there at all. Instead, Lilly was staring at a vehicle, flipped over and crunched like it’d been hit head-on by an 18-wheeler.
And although it was damaged beyond repair, Tyler recognized it as yours immediately.
He felt his chest tighten. “Christ–” he stammered, unable to fight back the tears burning behind his eyes. He ran his hand through his hair before hunching over, hoping the motion would allow him to finally catch his breath.
“Oh God,” he panted. “God, no– please, no–”
“She might not have been in it,” Lilly said quickly.
But Tyler barely heard her. He was too fixated on the pounding in his ears–
A wave of hopelessness washed over him, flooding his insides. He was too late– he couldn’t save you– he was too fucking late.
“We’re gonna find her, T,” Boone’s voice was suddenly peaking through the fog.
“Yeah, we won’t stop until we do,” Dani added.
Tyler forced himself to take a few, steadying breaths. When he could, he straightened his back and glanced around.
His whole team hadn’t given up on you.
Neither could he.
…
When you finally gained the courage to open your eyes, you were met by a fierce brightness. You coughed– lungs heaving as you struggled to breathe.
“Gloria?” you tried to speak. “Are you okay?”
You were met by an eerie silence– the calm after the storm. Blinking harshly a few times, you tried to gather up enough strength to sit up. But as soon as you did, you had a chance to look around… And boy, do you wish you hadn’t.
There was nothing left– the entire town was gone… destroyed, buried in rubble and debris.
“Gloria?” you called, groaning as you pushed the thick layer of roofing off from your legs. You grimaced once you saw the deep gash down the side of your thigh, oozing blood.
Breath shuddering, you continued to scan the area– trying to wrack your brain for what the hell you were supposed to do next. The second you moved to turn your head, you winced, vision blurring. Slowly, you grazed along your forehead with your fingertips. When you pulled them away, you grimaced to see them coated in crimson liquid.
You stared at it for far too long– unsure what else to do. You were hurt– probably worse than it felt, too if adrenaline had anything to say about it. You didn’t know if you could walk on your leg, or if you’d pass out the second you tried to stand up.
You felt hopeless– completely and utterly alone.
Until you faintly heard the sound of your name being called in the distance.
It was enough to make you snap out of your trance, head whipping around to see Boone throwing aside a piece of siding. He called out a second time before turning and locking eyes with you from across the way.
“Boone,” you said under your breath, like you couldn’t quite believe he was real. Because if Boone was here– calling out for you, that meant Tyler couldn’t be far behind.
Boone yelled your name again before turning. “I found her!” he screamed, waving his arms. “Over here!”
You fought back the guilt you felt for still not finding Gloria and moved to stand on shaky legs.
“I’ll come back for you,” you promised her.
Wobbly and weak, you limped towards him, trying your best not to fall in the cracks and crevices beneath the debris. You looked down, intending to watch your step, but instead you caught a glimpse of your leg and all the blood now coating your entire thigh and calf. Just the sight of it made you lose your balance.
“Shit,” you gasped, as you landed harshly on the ground. You looked back up and saw Boone heading your way– only fifty yards or so from you. But then– right behind Boone, was a sight that made everything else melt away.
“Tyler,” you exhaled, like it was a prayer tumbling from your lips.
His long legs moved fast– practically running despite everything in his way.
He’d make it to you– he’d get you. But if you got up and kept moving… he’d get there sooner. So, with whatever you had left inside of you, you pushed yourself up. Ignoring the pounding in your head and the throbbing in your leg, you limped forward.
“Tyler,” you said again– not loud enough for anyone else to hear. It was like you just needed a reminder that really was right there. “Tyler–” this time, when his name tumbled from your lips, it came out as a sob– every emotion inside of you bubbling to the surface of your skin. Tears slipped down your cheeks, your vision blurred.
He was so close now– you could hear the rubble shift as he stepped on it.
He called your name… and God, if his voice wasn’t the sweetest sound you’d ever heard.
“Tyler–” you cried again, throat choked from dust and tears.
And then, just like that, his body was colliding with yours. Arms winding tightly around your shoulders, a familiar scent enveloping you, he cradled the back of your head with his hand, anchoring you to his chest. You wrapped your arms around his middle, face buried in his button down shirt.
“Oh, God,” he whispered above you, lips grazing the side of your head. “I got you,” he said.
You opened your mouth to speak, but no words came out– only a guttural, uncontrollable sob that made him hold you tighter.
“I got you, baby. I got you,” he whispered into your hair.
“Tyler–” was all you managed to choke out.
His thumb trailed up and down your hair, matted with mud and your own blood. “I’m here. I’m right here. I got you.”
He held you tight, steadying your shaky frame. It was like he was the one thing keeping you from completely falling apart. Which was why your body almost recoiled when he finally pulled away. You needed him wrapped around you like that forever.
You tried to resist, to pull him back, but you didn’t even have the energy for that. All you could do was stand there weakly while his wild, concerned eyes scanned the length of you.
“I’m fine–” you tried to say.
But he shook his head instantly. “You’re not fine. You’re hurt, we gotta get you out of here. Get an ambulance!” he yelled to Boone, who was lingering nearby, looking like he didn’t quite know how to help. Boone nodded instantly before hurrying off.
“Tyler–”
“Okay, I see the leg– what else?” he asked. “What else hurts?”
“My head,” you whimpered. “And my ribs–” you admitted, although you hadn’t quite managed to look at those yet. “But Tyler–”
Before you could finish, Tyler’s hand gripped the hem of your tank top, pulling it up slightly. You winced as the fabric brushed over your ribs. But when Tyler pressed a hand on the bare skin, you almost screamed out in pain. “Sorry,” he said gently. “I gotta look though, baby. I gotta check it.”
You nodded, fingers squeezing the fabric of his shirt as he did. The pain was excruciating– enough to make your already-dizzy head start to spin.
“I think they’re broken– at least a couple. Can’t say for certain.”
“Tyler,” you tried to repeat, tears still streaming steadily down your face.
“It’s okay, you’re gonna be okay,” he said once he saw the shift on your face.
“It’s Gloria,” you finally spit out. “She’s out here somewhere, Tyler. We have to find her–”
Tyler’s gaze softened at your words. He pulled his eyes away from you long enough to quickly scan the scene.
“Did you see her? Or know where she went?”
You shook your head, more tears spilling down your cheeks. “No–” you cried. “No, I don’t know where she went. Tyler, I have to find her–”
“Easy,” he soothed, winding an arm around your middle so that he could brace the majority of your weight. “You’ve lost a lot of blood. We gotta get you checked out.”
“I can’t leave her–” you protested.
“Listen to me,” he said, voice gentle but stern. “You bleeding out on a pile of rubble isn’t going to help her, okay? Let me get you somewhere safe, Boone and Dexter can search for Gloria, alright?”
After a moment, you nodded solemnly. “You promise?”
“I promise, baby. Now c’mon.”
Before you could protest, you felt Tyler’s arm swoop around the backs of your legs, while the other supported your back. In an instant, your feet are lifted off from the ground. You didn’t have the energy to do anything but lay your head against his chest.
“There we go,” he soothed. “I got you.”
His thumb trailed along your back gently as he began navigating the pile of rubble around you.
You felt safe nestled against him– and for the first time since you’d emerged from the rubble, you felt safe enough to allow your eyes to fall shut.
“Hey, stay awake now, okay? We’re just a short walk to the ambulances– keep lookin’ at me.”
You tried– honestly you did. You opened them up, despite everything inside of you that screamed to close them. And then you fought like hell to keep them trained on Tyler– to study the lining of his jaw and the tan shade of his skin. But Tyler’s embrace was so warm, and his voice was just so soft. And you were so, so tired. There was nothing you could do when they fell shut again.
Tyler pleaded for you, but unconsciousness got there first.
…
Even after the doctors assured him you’d be okay– that it was just exhaustion and blood loss from the trauma you’d endured keeping you out for so long, he couldn’t settle down.
You looked so goddamn frail– so broken in that hospital bed. He couldn’t stand it.
It was nearly ten at night before the rest of his team packed up to head back home, making him promise to call them as soon as you woke up.
“We can stay if you want,” Lilly offered. There was no hint of sarcasm or malice in her tone. She was being genuine. Which was how Tyler knew he must have been an absolute mess.
“That’s alright,” he croaked, speaking for the first time in nearly an hour. Even he could hear the pain in his voice.
Boone clapped him on the shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze. “Love you, man.”
“Call us if you need anything,” Dani said.
Tyler nodded, promised he would. But the only thing he needed was for you to wake up.
…
His watch read midnight when you finally stirred.
Tyler was sitting in a chair, pulled all the way up to your bedside, and was clutching your hand with both of his. He had his forehead resting against the hospital bed, but the second he felt movement, he shot up quickly, all the exhaustion fading instantly.
Your face contorted into a frown as you squeezed your eyes shut once, twice, three times before they fluttered open.
Scooting forward in his chair, he studied you as you glanced around– clearly trying to take in your surroundings and place where you were. The second you started to shift– like you were sitting up in bed in a panic, he squeezed your hand.
“Hey, you’re okay,” he said. “You’re in the hospital. You’re okay.”
Your head turned towards him, confusion and fear plastered all over your cut up, bruised face. Just the sight made his chest ache.
“You’re safe.”
You fell back against the pillow and nodded slowly.
“Tyler–” you began shakily, he could already hear the sob lodged in your throat. “I– I’m…”
“You’re okay, baby,” he assured you.
“No– I’m- I’m so sorry–”
He froze, brow furrowing in confusion. “Hey, what’s this? Stop- you got nothing to be sorry for, baby.”
“I didn’t have my phone. I didn’t hear the alert until it was too late. It was stupid– I just–” your face crumpled as you struggled to find words. “You always tell me not to forget it and I forgot it.”
“It’s okay,” he soothed. “Don’t worry about that.”
“I just– I wanted to get you a birthday cake– I should have gotten it sooner, but I forgot– and…” your voice continued to crack and break with each breath you took. “I know you don’t love birthdays, but I love your birthday–” Tyler leaned forward in his seat, releasing your hand so that he could cup your cheek. He brushed a loose strand of hair from your face before his fingers traced your jawline delicately.
“I think your cake got destroyed.”
He couldn’t help the soft smirk that spread across his face. “I’d say that’s probably a fair assumption.”
“I’m sorry–”
“Hey,” he soothed. “Fuck birthday cakes– I didn’t want one anyway. I was thinkin’ we could get a nice pie this year. What do ya think? Blueberry? Peach cobbler?”
“But Gloria made it–”
Suddenly, your face fell and you were back to sitting up eagerly. “Oh my God, Tyler. Gloria– she–”
“She’s safe,” Tyler interjected quickly. “Thanks to you. Boone found her not far from where you wound up, clutching to some pipes. She had a few scratches, but that was it. She said the pipes were your idea.”
A rush of pride flowed through him as he beamed at you. His girl– getting people to safety in the middle of a tornado, despite how scared you must have been.
Your watery eyes met his, lip quivering as you tried to speak. “Tyler– I didn’t think…” he could hear the tears in your throat before you even let them out. “I didn’t think we were going to make it. God, I don’t know how we made it.”
Your voice broke on the last word, a sob escaping your lips as you doubled over. Instantly, Tyler was out of his chair and sliding into the tiny, hospital bed beside you carefully avoiding your cracked ribs and stitched up thigh.
Without even hesitating, you curled into his side, fingers grasping as his shirt like your life depended on it.
“Shh,” he soothed, hand rubbing up and down your arm. “You did make it. You and Gloria both. You made it because you thought on your feet– I’m so proud of you,” he hummed, pressing his lips to the side of your head.
He had no idea if you believed him or not– no idea if his words were sinking in at all. You clutched his shirt and cried against his chest– frame shaking with each breath you took. Tyler felt so helpless in that moment. All he could do was whisper reassuring comments and words of affirmation in your ear and hold you tightly against him.
After a while, your breathing started to return to normal. Your grip on his shirt loosened as you let out a sigh. “You came to get me,” you said quietly, voice sounding so tired– like it was moments away from drifting off.
Tyler pressed his lips to your hair, eyes squeezing shut. “I’ll always come to get you,” he promised.
You nodded. “I know.”
Tyler ran his hand up and down your arm a few more times soothingly. “The laundry mat was a good idea– especially with the pipes,” he murmured into your hair.
With what little energy you had left, you pulled away from him to glance up. With a raised eyebrow, you asked. “Does that mean I can be a tornado wrangler now?”
He smirked playfully. “That depends, do you want to be?”
You bit your lip, like you were really thinking about it. After a moment, you scrunched your nose up. “And face one of those things nearly everyday? Not a chance.”
Tyler smiled, pulling you gently against his chest– right where you belonged. “There’s my girl,” he said lovingly.

Lightning - Tyler Owens (smut)
I mean, we all knew this would happen. I haven’t seen the movie yet, but I am DESPERATE for him. And as somebody who actually has something to do with studying tornadoes, I had to write this. I am obsessed with this fic, but I doubt this will get much attention, so please actually reblog it if you enjoyed reading it! Enjoy my loves. xxx
Summary: Tyler and the reader are chasing tornadoes together, but when they have to step back and find shelter, things quickly change between them.
Warnings: 18+, smut, piv, handjob, kinda enemies to lovers, teasing and all that fun stuff
Pairing: Tyler Owens x fem!reader (3k words)
Wind was blowing in her face, letting her strands dance in the air while her eyes flickered between her laptop screen and the dark sky. She was surrounded by her team, trying to ignore their shouts as they decided which direction to head in. (Y/n) was torn between too many options, not liking the way this afternoon was playing out.
It was do or die, miss or hit one of the biggest tornadoes they had come across in a while. And yet the second cell that was currently forming gave off a somewhat more promising chance of catching enough data this time around.
“Which way will it be, lightning?” Her breath hitched in her chest as he mumbled the words, front pressed against her back. The hairs on her arms began to rise, fully focused on his closeness, allowing her to pick up on the scent of his familiar cologne, on the way his breath fanned over the back of her neck as if he was about to kiss that very spot.
“Am I dreaming? Is Tyler Owens asking for my opinion?” She slowly turned towards the handsome man. Her eyes instantly found his piercing ones, getting lost in their intense gaze while he shot her one of his signature smirks. Fuck, if he weren’t such an asshole most of the time, she would easily give in to the pull she felt, allowing him to tug her towards his bed without having to fear about the aftermath. But if there was one thing (y/n) was sure of, it was that Tyler Owens was all about playing games, toying with a woman until he eventually grew bored. He was a personification of a thunderstorm, fast moving and never ready to settle.
“Don’t let it get to your head, pretty.” She clicked her tongue with a displeased expression tugging on her features. There was no time left to study him, to curse whoever had created him for making him look this handsome. They had to stay focused, at least until she got the data she needed for her project.
“Alright, we’re heading east.” (Y/n) closed her laptop before reaching for her bag–the bag that was snatched from her grasp before she could protest. Tyler had slung it over his shoulder while tilting his head towards his truck, silently asking her to ride with him.
On any other occasion she would have cursed him, would have told him to fuck off. But today, while being heavily understaffed, she needed any help she could get. And knowing that Tyler drove like the devil himself, she knew she had the best chance of arriving just in time with him by her side.
His smirk grew wider the second she gave in, begrudgingly following Tyler while her eyes found the confused ones of her teammates. She only rolled her eyes at them, raising her shoulders and dropping them again as if she was wordlessly telling them that she was just as confused as they were, not seeing through Tyler’s game just yet.
Silence filled the truck, only a few commands left (y/n) whenever they needed to make a turn, chasing down the roads to catch up with the growing cell. All while the others followed behind them, too slow to catch up with Tyler’s truck. Her heart was pounding in her chest, riled up by the anticipation of chasing another storm – no matter how many times she had done this before, (y/n) would never get used to the thrill, the moments leading up to seeing yet another beautiful though terrifying tornado.
“You alright, pretty?” She’d never get used to the way Tyler called her, dripping with that drawl she loved more than she’d ever admit. (Y/n) didn’t look at him, fully focused on her laptop to monitor the path their tornado took. No word left her pressed together lips, trying to drown out the feeling of his concerned eyes flickering towards her every few seconds.
“(Y/n)?” The use of her name ripped (y/n) out of her trance, letting her wide pupils find his. She only nodded at Tyler, knowing she couldn’t waste any time on the crush she could never speak of, preferring to take her secret to the grave rather than feeding his ego–only to end up with a broken heart in the process.
“Guys, can you hear me?” She held the radio close, speaking to the others while refocusing on the map. All they could hear was rustling, unable to pick up on the reply that was spoken on the other end. Curses clawed through (y/n), she tried to reach their teams again, while swallowing the sinking feeling growing in the pit of her stomach. No longer could she see them in the rearview mirror, telling her that they hadn’t made it down the narrow path Tyler had taken.
The road ahead was muddy, forcing the truck to slither along while Tyler tried to avoid holes and ditches. With one hand clutching the door, (y/n) tried to hold still, not daring to bump into Tyler whose angry cusses filled the truck. Both had their eyes focused ahead, knowing that this had been the wrong choice, the wrong tornado to chase. They were heading straight towards their death if they kept going that way, knowing that without their team by their side, they wouldn’t be able to collect enough data anyway.
“I hate being the one to say it, but we gotta find shelter, lightning.” Tyler’s annoyed groans left her nodding, giving him the green light to take a sharp left to turn towards the town close by. With the slimmest chance to find proper shelter, Tyler kept speeding along, seemingly having a spot in mind. (Y/n) was angry, at herself, at the road conditions, knowing that this situation should have played out much differently. And all she could do was trust the man she had always tried to hate.
“Come, follow me.” The truck was forced to a sudden halt. (Y/n) followed Tyler outside, holding onto her things while he reached for her free hand to pull her along. He guided her towards what appeared to be a barn, a building she paid no attention to as she studied the tornado, getting lost in its beauty for a second. “They built an underground shelter here a few years back, if we’re lucky nobody else had the time to find it.”
Tyler pushed her into the unlocked barn, letting the doors slide close again before he led her down some stairs. She didn’t dare speak, torn between too many emotions. All (y/n) could do was let go of a sigh while being ushered into the empty, dark shelter. It took her a while to adjust to the darkness, letting her hands move along the metallic wall until she found what appeared to be a light switch. She gave it a try, though without any luck, letting herself drop to the ground while Tyler stayed glued to his spot.
If both hadn’t been too deep in thought, they would have realised that this was the first time they were sheltering together, completely alone without any nosy eyes watching them or listening to their talks.
“We should have gone west, I’m sorry.” Her whispers filled the small shelter, luring Tyler closer who plopped down next to her. He fumbled with his phone to turn on the fleshlight, letting it rest on the ground to alight their surroundings. A few boxes were placed against the wall, filled with water and some snacks they hopefully wouldn’t have to use, praying that they’d get out of here fast enough to chase their luck once again.
“There’s always time for another try, pretty.” Tyler reached for her hand to squeeze it before he could stop himself, forcing her eyes to focus on the spot where she now felt a buzzing sensation. She let her head roll towards Tyler, studying the white hat he took off with his free hand, placing it down on the ground, only to comb through his hair.
“Don’t think I’ve ever seen you without that thing on.” (Y/n)’s whispers left him chuckling, a sound that momentarily managed to drown out the roar of the tornado. The howling was an almost comforting sound to them, after years of chasing them, well aware of every little detail.
“Well, you’re one of the few who gets the honour, appreciate it.” She rolled her eyes at him before ripping her gaze off of him. Heat flushed through her at his teasing, a heat that only grew more biting as she realised that they were still holding hands. Her tongue moved along her dry lips, trying to find the right words to break their silence, silently hoping that she could cherish every single second of their time together. As much as she had once sworn to hate him while burying her crush deep inside of herself, she had lost all strength to fight against it, at least for now.
“Why have we never done this before?” Tyler seemed to feel the same longing, drawing her focus back towards him with his question. His eyes had an even more piercing touch to them now, having an invisible tight grasp on her soul she didn’t want to escape from.
“Because you’re an asshole most of the time and I can’t stand being around you for long.” (Y/n)’s sharp reply left him laughing, a loud sound that had an addicting effect on her, leaving her chuckling while shaking her head at the man.
“You wound me, lightning. Here I was hoping you’d finally let me take you out on a date, once this day’s over.” No longer did she laugh, the sound was stuck in her throat all too suddenly.
Did he truly mean it? Was he planning on asking her out? Or was Tyler playing yet another game with her?
“Don’t fuck with me, Owens.” His hand darted out to grasp her chin, forcing her to keep her focus on him before she could even try to turn away from him. For just a second, she watched his gaze flicker between her eyes and her slightly parted lips. Once again her heart was back to racing, no longer focused on the howling wind, the sounds of things crashing outside, but fully and solemnly focused on Tyler.
“Are you scared of this thing between us?” Once again, his question managed to rob her of the air filling her lungs, not expecting him to be this direct with her. A part of (y/n) begged her to cuss him out, to make fun of the question, to escape the avalanche that was about to roll upon them, but the bigger - more desperate - part of her, managed to gain the upper hand, leading her straight towards danger.
“Well, even though you enjoy riding your fears, I prefer to face ‘em. I’m not scared, not of this, whatever this is. But I’m fucking terrified of you toying with me and dropping me the second I’m no longer interesting enough.” He let go of her, only to pull her into his lap, making her straddle his stretched out legs. They held eye contact, wordlessly daring one another to move first, to give in to the pull that was as strong as an F5 they’d happily chase on any other day.
“I’d be fucking stupid to mess it up with you.” She felt his breath on her lips, ghosting over her soft skin like he was giving her one last chance to pull away. A chance she wouldn’t take, letting it pass while finding his lips for a soft kiss that escalated within seconds. With his hand pressed to the back of her head and his other placed on her waist, Tyler held her to him while deepening the kiss.
Their tongues fought for victory, knowing that neither of them would back down from a fight against the other, urged on by their need to gain the upper hand. Soft groans and moans left them while their bodies searched one another’s closeness, knowing that this was something they wouldn’t tell others about, preferring to keep this as their secret.
Her hands roamed his clothed chest, feeling his muscles beneath her wandering fingers while finding her way to his belt. She toyed with the buckle for a moment while her lips were still glued to his, knowing they’d have to part any moment now to inhale some much needed breaths of air.
“You sure you want to do this in here, lightning?” His chuckles left her grinning, while holding onto the question she had wanted to ask for a while now.
“Why lightning?” A kiss was shared between them, much softer than the one before. Her hand was still toying with his belt, slowly undoing the buckle to wordlessly tell him she wanted this much as he did, even though they knew that it was stupid and selfish of them to hide out here while their teams were undoubtedly worrying about them.
“Well, the first time I saw you, you struck me like lightning, brightening my darkest day.” The explanation was cheesy, and yet it still drew heat up her neck. She could only swallow, smile at him and refocus on her hands. Tyler let her move, freeing his hardening cock while his impatient hands tugged on the buttons of her blouse, letting it pop open to expose her bra-clad chest.
“Fuck, you’re a dream.” Her eyes flickered up to his while she spat into her palm, using her saliva to lube him up. Tyler couldn’t stop his moans from clawing through him, fully focused on the way he perfectly fit into her hand, pressed against the soft skin he wanted to feel against every inch of his body. His head rolled back against the wall, eyes closed and lips parted – offering a sight that made her walls clench around nothing, proud for being the one to make him feel like that.
Her hand added more speed to its movements, squeezing him with just enough pressure to draw another raspy moan from Tyler. He allowed himself to relish in her touch for another moment before he gently though urgently grasped her wrist to stop her from moving.
“Will you ride me, lightning?” His accent grew thicker with every syllable, leaving her shuddering while only a soft chuckle managed to leave her. She rose to her feet to shuffle out of her jeans, keeping her eyes focused on Tyler who marvelled at her as if she was the strongest tornado he had ever been fortunate enough to see, fully mesmerised by everything about her. She kept her panties on while finding her way back to his lap, knowing that they needed to hit the road soon, not giving them a chance to do this properly.
“Wait, here.” He reached for his back pocket to pull a condom out of his wallet, letting her rip it open to roll it down his aching cock. Both their hearts were beating in sync, knowing that they were finally about to do something they had been desperate for ever since running into one another for the first time. No matter how much anger and hatred had once grown between them, it was now turning them from opponents to lovers–or whatever it was both were trying to adjust to.
Tyler held onto her as she sank down on him, letting her forehead fall against his shoulder for a second. No words were spoken while they had to adjust, overwhelmed by the new sensation and the whirlwind of emotions buzzing through them like a storm hitting them both. With her hands holding onto him, clinging to the fabric of the shirt he wore, she began to move, fucking herself on his twitching cock with such a passion, Tyler feared he may never want to get out of this shelter again.
“Tyler,” his name left her, a breathy whisper he almost missed, too far gone to focus on anything but their closeness. He palmed her ass, letting his fingertips dig into her skin to leave marks that would remind her of this very moment for days to come. His hips met hers, jerking upwards to make his cock disappear inside of her even deeper, drawing desperate moans from them which dripped with a need for more.
“Attagirl, look at you, fucking yourself on my cock like you were born for this.” She moaned at his words, knowing that her thighs would start aching soon enough, begging for a new position to give herself the needed push to fall over the edge. “What? You’re already getting tired? I should have fucked you in my truck, make you scream my name while the world’s ending around us.”
He pushed her off of him without a warning, leaving her dazed and confused for a second while watching him rise to his feet. With a hand stretched out for (y/n) to take, he pulled her up towards him–only to pick her up and press her against the wall. His cock was pushed back into her, stretching her walls while he fucked her with a fast pace that made both of them see stars.
(Y/n) clawed at his neck, needing to hold onto him while he fucked her closer and closer to the edge. A cocky grin widened on his lips as he felt her walls tightening their grip on his cock. She was close, would let go soon with his name burning on the tip of her tongue, a perfect reminder that she was his from today on, glued to the man who she had once sworn to hate.
“Scream my name, lightning, show them what a real thunderstorm sounds like.” If he weren’t buried deep inside of her, she would have rolled her eyes at him. But (y/n) was too far gone to care about his cheesy teasing, solemnly focused on her arising high and the name rolling off her tongue like a prayer.
And then she came, pushed into an orgasm so strong, (y/n) feared she’d never experience something like this again. It buzzed through every part of her body, stealing her breath as if she was drowning, forcing her heart to skip beats as if she was chased by someone or rather something. Tyler kept fucking her against the wall, urged on by her moans, the sounds he’d never forget again.
Pants kept leaving him while chasing his own high, letting his skin meet hers with every ferocious thrust. And with one last “Fuck” Tyler came, relieving himself into the condom as his smirk returned to his lips. Both were heavily breathing, clinging to the other while coming down from their highs.
“I don’t know if I can walk back to the truck.” Carefully, he placed (y/n) back down on her feet, shaking his head at her with a soft smile thrown her way. Tyler pressed another kiss to her slightly swollen lips before both redressed, knowing that they had to get out of here and back to their team as fast as possible.
“You know I’ll gladly carry you, lightning. I always will, if you let me.”

Word Count - 13k my god I'm sorry Playlist Warnings - 18+ ONLY. Tyler Smut. Language
Everything looked the same, but somehow different.
You hadn’t stepped foot in this town in ten years, and you were nervous as hell to be here now. This town held a lot of memories and people that you hadn’t visited in a long time. If your agent had told you where you had been going before putting you on the plane, you probably would have asked if there was somewhere else, some other storm chaser group that wasn’t based in Arkansas you could interview. She believed that she was doing a nice thing, surprising you with a trip to your hometown.
You didn’t have the heart to tell her that it may be your hometown, but it also was home to your worst memory.
A sigh left your lips as you pulled up to a familiar gas station, and pushing the memories out of your mind, you put the car in park.
The Tornado Wranglers. That was the group of chasers you would be talking to. Your agent had insisted that they were the best of the best. Apparently they had a very large YouTube following, and their leader was, “charismatic and oozed charm”, according to your agent. He was also the hottest cowboy she’d ever seen.
Those words brought a faint smile to your face, and you pulled out your phone to text her.
Landed, and am currently waiting at the gas station.
A few moments later, a response came through. Any sign of hot cowboys yet?
You let out a laugh. Not yet, but I’ll keep you informed.
Your fingers settled on the door handle. There was no reason to put this off anymore. You were here, and you were going to have to face what was out there, for better or worse. You opened the door and climbed out of your car.
It smelled the same. The gas station had been updated to be more modern, but the faint scent of gasoline and rice from the farms remained. Walking inside, you found little had changed. There was an updated register, a few more products offered, but that was about it. When your eyes caught sight of your favorite candy, a grin spread across your face, and you found yourself reaching for them, even though you hadn’t had them in years.
You didn’t recognize the cashier, which you were grateful for. A part of you had almost expected everyone you knew to pop out of nowhere as soon as your feet touched the ground. Now you realized how ridiculous that was. In fact, you might go this whole trip without setting eyes on a single person from before. Thanking the cashier, you made your way back outside right on time to see a large red truck turning in followed by a camper that was blaring a Tanner Adell song. You couldn’t see the driver of the truck because of the cowboy hat and sunglasses that partially obscured his face, but the guy in the passenger seat recognized you at once. “Hey! That’s her!” You could hear him say it since his window was open.
The guy pulled to a stop, and the one in the passenger seat ran around the front of the car. His hair was dark and shoulder length, but covered with a baseball cap, and the bottom half of his face supported some facial hair. He was dressed much like you expected a tornado chaser to dress, shirt and shorts in different shades of dark green with a bandana around his neck. “Hey, I’m Boone.” He said, holding out his hand for you. “I gotta say, I’m a big fan.” He said the last part in an almost whisper, like he didn’t want anyone else to hear him.
Which, considering you wrote romance books, he probably didn’t. Not the first man to say something similar to you, you nodded with a sincere smile, shaking his hand. “It’s nice to meet you. You guys are the Tornado Wranglers I’m assuming?”
“Yeah, that’s Dexter and Dani.” He said pointing to two people that were exiting the camper behind them. “There’s Lily.” He said, pointing to a girl getting out of another car that you hadn’t even noticed. “And this is our fearless leader, Tyler.”
At that moment, the world around you slowed down. In fact, you were pretty sure all the air was sucked out of your lungs. It couldn’t be him. Out of every person in the world you could be working with, it couldn’t be the one . . . But he took off his cowboy hat, and even though it had been ten years, he was unmistakable. You would know that face anywhere, after all, you saw it all the time in your dreams.
For a moment, you thought he might not recognize you. It had been ten years, you’d both changed in that time, but the moment his eyes landed on you, he knew exactly who you were. He said your name, pure disbelief in his tone as he took a step forward.
You nodded, unsure of how to respond. The two of you hadn’t left on the best of terms, but there were so many years before that. So many beautiful memories that you’d never be able to forget. Half of you wanted to run and hide, the other half (okay maybe more like three fourths) wanted to run into his arms. How could you do that though when you were the one who left?
Tyler didn’t hesitate though. You watched as a slow grin formed on his face that turned into a bright smile, a smile that never failed to make your heart skip a beat, and the next moment he was hurrying towards you. Within seconds you were wrapped up in a hug so tight your feet weren’t even on the ground anymore.
God it felt good. You slid your arms around his neck, hugging him back just as tight, and let out a little laugh as he spun you around. Your eyes closed automatically, and you realized at that moment while you may have written about the way Tyler made you feel, it was nothing compared to the actual emotions. You remembered how his arms always felt like home, and it was no different now. They must have some sort of magic, because no matter how long it had been, they brought your mindset right back to the teenager who was crazy in love with her boyfriend.
After what was probably too long, Tyler put you back on the ground, slowly and a little too intimately for the strangers his team thought you were. In fact, he didn’t even fully let go of you, keeping his hands on your hips. You found yourself unable to let go of him too though, your hands resting on his forearms as he stared at you in disbelief. “I can’t believe you’re here.”
“I can’t believe you’re here.” You said, squeezing his arms. “You’re a storm chaser?” It made perfect sense when you thought about it. Tyler had always had such a good instinct for weather. You couldn’t count the amount of times during school when he told you football games were going to get canceled because it was going to storm. He was never wrong. You just never expected him to quit bull riding.
“Yeah, got a meteorology degree from U of A and everything.” Tyler said, and your breath caught in your throat. Not just because his thumbs had started stroking your hips, but because of his words too.
Tyler had done it. He had done what you had always known he was beyond capable of doing. The shy smile on his face, the love, care, and pride you still, and always would have for him rushed to the surface. Overwhelmed with emotions from the past, you felt tears fill up your eyes as you looked at him. “I’m so proud of you, Ty.” You told him, and you meant every word.
There was no other way to describe it. He was beaming, and god you had forgotten how beautiful that smile was. It was like the sun, almost too bright to look at.
“I get the feeling you two know each other?”
You had forgotten that little aspect of being with Tyler. How everything else would disappear the moment he looked into your eyes. You took a step back from him, letting go of his arms even though every part of your body wanted you to keep touching him. His hands lingered on you for a moment, but then he let go as well. “I guess you could say that.” Tyler said, “this is the girl that broke my heart ten years ago.”
“Wait,” one of the girls, you were pretty sure it was Lily, stepped forward. “I thought that girl’s name was-”
They knew your name. Tyler had talked about you enough that they knew who you were. “That is my name. My writing name is a pseudonym.” You admitted. Heat rushed to your skin, but there was no malice in Tyler’s voice or face. He was just looking at you with a fond smile, as if lost in the same memories you found swirling around in your mind.
“So, you’re a big time writer now, huh? You always did tell the best stories.” Tyler said.
“Man, you should read them. In fact, now that I think about it, one of the main guys kinda reminds me of-” Boone started to say, but you cut him off.
There was no way you were ready for that conversation. “So, um, where did you guys want to talk?” You spoke up, trying to change the subject as subtly as you could.
The look Tyler gave you said he saw right through your bullshit, but he didn’t comment on it, just grinned mischievously at you. “How about Frankie’s?”
Of course he would suggest Frankie’s. It was the bar that the two of you used to go to all the time after rodeos. There were a lot of memories of playing pool, laughing with friends and dancing to whatever band was playing there. While you weren’t sure you were ready for all those memories to hit again, the draw of going back there with Tyler was too much. “Okay,” you agreed. “I’ll meet you guys- ”
“No need for that. You can ride with me.” Tyler said, patting the large red truck.
Being in an enclosed space with your ex boyfriend definitely didn’t seem like a good idea. “Oh, that’s not-”
“It’s really cool. You’ll want to take a peek. He customized it all himself and everything. This baby can drive straight into a tornado.” Boone said while Tyler continued to grin at you.
“Research is what you’re here for right?” Tyler asked you.
Yes. That was a good reminder for yourself. You were here to learn about the essentials of storm chasing for your next book, not to spend all your time thinking about how good Tyler looked after ten years. “Right,” you agreed, and then watched as Tyler walked all the way over to the passenger seat and held it open for you.
“Well, in that case, right this way ma’am.”
————————
To your slight surprise, Tyler kept everything professional in the truck. He showed you all the features, and you couldn’t help but be mesmerized by it all. It was impressive, not only what he had thought of, but had attached himself. “Is this normal? I mean do a lot of storm chasers have vehicles they’ve rigged up?”
“Nothing like this.” He said with pride in his voice as he grinned over at you. “I spent years putting this thing together.”
“When you do something, you always go big.” You teased, smirking at him. “Remember that time in high school when we just wanted to fill the principal's office with ducks, and instead you said we should fill the whole school?”
Tyler scoffed. “Of course I do. I got a month of detention for that because Belinda ratted me out.”
“You did stand her up for a date.” You reminded him.
“Yeah well,” Tyler glanced over at you again. “You needed me.”
Your cheeks heated as the memories of that night flooded your mind. It hadn’t been long after your Dad had passed. You had gotten stupid drunk at a party that he hadn’t wanted to go to. You had been walking home, stumbling home really, when a familiar truck pulled up beside you. It turned out that Tyler had been waiting nearby for at least an hour after feeling like something was off.
He held you in his arms in that truck for hours while you cried, letting out emotions you’d been holding back for months. Then he took you home and snuck into your bedroom to hold you some more. The next morning you told him you didn’t want to be just friends anymore. He told you he hadn’t wanted to be just friends for a long time.
The two of you were inseparable from that moment until the day you left. Almost as if he could sense where your mind was, a palpable tension filled the truck.
You weren’t ready to talk about it though.
Thankfully you were saved from any further discussion as your phone went off with a text. It was from your agent, checking in again.
“Boyfriend?” Tyler asked.
You shot him a look, trying to bite back a smile. “That’s not very subtle of you.”
He sent you a look right back. “Wasn’t trying to be.”
“Agent.” You answered, choosing to ignore his response. “Who I now have to awkwardly tell that the ‘hottest cowboy she’s ever seen’ is actually my ex-boyfriend.”
“So you really had no idea?” Tyler asked.
You shook your head. “Not a clue. I didn’t even know where I was going until I got to the airport and she sent my travel information.”
“Gotta say . . . I’m surprised. I never thought you’d step foot in the town again.” He said, pulling into the small parking lot.
Glancing up at the building, you bit your bottom lip. “I wasn’t sure I would either.”
Frankie’s was exactly what you would picture when you hear the words, “small town bar”, but as soon as you walked in, you couldn’t help but smile at the familiarity. It was big for a small town bar, featuring bars on both sides of the room, plenty of tables, as well as a couple of pool tables, and a stage with a small dancing space in front of it. Most of the furniture was wooden and looking a little rough, but they kept the lighting dim enough that it wasn’t very noticeable. There weren’t a whole lot of people, but there was no band playing, and it was a weekday night. It put you a little more at ease.
“This place hasn’t changed a bit.” You said, looking around.
Tyler shook his head in agreement. “That’s why I love it so much. Feel like I’m right back into my early twenties when I walk back in here.”
“That was a long time ago for you.” You teased.
He clutched his chest, scrunching his eyes at you and giving you a wounded look, but there was a playful edge to it. “Ouch. So you do still have some bite to you.”
You smirked at him. “You bring it out in me.”
Tyler’s frown turned to a grin as he placed his hand on the small of your back, sending chills down your spine. “Let’s grab a booth for everybody.”
The next several hours consisted of you asking the Tornado Wranglers crew every question you wrote down as well as thought of. They not only answered honestly, but never talked down to you like you were stupid for not knowing something either. You loved the relationship that they clearly had with each other. They treated each other like family, with their own strengths and weaknesses that the other members of the team either supported or built upon. You knew immediately it was something you were going to want to include in your book. Not only that, but they were hilarious, and since they knew who you were, they seemed to be ribbing Tyler extra hard.
“All right, you know damn well that was an accident.” Tyler said, pointing a finger at Dexter who was laughing hysterically along with the rest of the table.
“I don’t know, it doesn’t sound like an accident to me Tyler.” You said, raising your eyebrows at the man sitting next to you.
Tyler narrowed his eyes at you and bumped your knee with his under the table. “Now don’t you start.”
“Hey, don’t be rude to our guest.” Dani said.
“Too late for that. He hasn’t even gotten her a drink yet.” Lily spoke up, shaking her head at him in disappointment.
“Oh, you don’t have to-”
Tyler shook his head. “No, they’re right.” He started sliding out of the booth. His hand reached up and gave your shoulder a squeeze. “I’ve got you.”
“I notice he didn’t ask you what you wanted to drink.” Dexter said with a little grin after Tyler made his way to the bar.
You bit your bottom lip. You hoped he remembered. “We’ve known each other a long time.”
“Okay, now that he’s gone.” Boone leaned forward, putting his hands on the table. “One Last Rodeo. Theo. He’s based on Tyler isn’t he?”
Heat rushed to your face. So Boone definitely had read your books. Looking back on it, it was pretty obvious that your first book had been based on Tyler. You were heartbroken, and trying to find a way to get it out on the page. The book was your way of coping with your breakup and how you wished it would have ended instead of the way that it did. By the time someone wanted to actually publish it, you realized how obvious the similarities were, and it was one of the reasons you wanted to write under a fake name. Since Boone had read your book, and now knew that Tyler was your ex . . . It couldn’t have been hard to put together. Still, you couldn’t bring yourself to admit it outloud. “A writer never tells her secrets.” You said.
They were all grinning at you though. “Oh, look how flushed her face is.” Dani said.
“It’s definitely about him.” Lily said.
You opened your mouth to deny it, even though it seemed pointless, but before you could you were interrupted. “Here you go,” he said, sliding back into the booth and putting a glass filled with an orange drink in front of you.
“What is that?” Boone asked, “some kind of tropical-”
“Orange juice.” You answered, smiling over at Tyler. “You did remember.”
Tyler gave you a look of disbelief, like he was insulted. “Of course I did.” When he saw the confused looks of his friends he explained, “she doesn’t drink.”
“Twelve years sober.” You said. “Not something I’m against anyone else doing, it’s just not for me.” Tyler slung his arm over the back side of the booth closest to you, and you had to fight the immediate urge to lean back into his embrace. The rest of the team was smirking at you, and you lifted the glass to your lips to take a sip. “So I’ve just got one more question for you guys.” You said trying to change the subject.
“Fire away.” Dani said.
“Why do you guys do it?” That was what you really wanted to know. “I grew up here. I know how dangerous, how scary these things can be. Why do you guys willingly risk your life for something that seems to have no real reward?”
There was silence around the table for a moment, and you made sure to avoid Tyler’s face. When you had written these questions, you had no clue he was one of the ones you’d be asking, and this question hit a little too close to the reason for your breakup. You didn’t think you could look at him if he answered.
“We like to help.” Lily said. “That’s a factor. We sell these shirts, and we use the money to get people stuff like food and water.”
“Then there’s just the beauty of it. Yes, it’s dangerous and destructive, but there’s also something incredible about it as well. There’s so many factors to tornados we don’t understand. Seeing them come together in person is . . . Indescribable.” Dexter added, while they all nodded their heads in agreement.
“There’s the adrenaline too.” Boone spoke up with a grin. “I’ve never felt more alive than when we’re chasing.”
Your body tensed at his words, memories of your last argument with Tyler trying to invade your mind. Once again, you felt sure he could sense what you were thinking as you felt his gaze on the side of your face.
“It’s hard to put into words without actually seeing it.” Tyler said. “You should come on a chase.”
That made you look at him, your eyes wide in shock that he would even suggest it. “I don’t think that’s a good idea.”
“Why not?” Tyler leaned towards you. “Scared?” He asked with a smirk.
“Yes.” You answered honestly.
“Ah, you’d be perfectly safe with Tyler. He’s got a knack for these things.” Boone said, and you looked over at him to find him grinning at the two of you. “You’d barely be in any danger at all.”
You didn’t doubt that, but heading straight into something that could be so destructive had never been your thing. Hell, you hadn’t even gotten on a horse until Tyler talked you into it. “Still, any danger is too much danger for me.”
Tyler shrugged. “The offer is there if you change your mind.” Tyler said, and you knew him well enough to see the flash of disappointment on his face.
Weirdly, you felt a little disappointed in yourself too.
————————
For the past hour, you’d been pacing around your motel room. Tyler had driven you back to your car, then followed you to the motel that funnily enough, him and the rest of the Wranglers were staying at as well. It was the only motel in your hometown, but knowing that Tyler was a few doors down from you made you anxious.
God, seeing him again had been your worst nightmare and best daydream all rolled into one. It was so easy to think that after ten years you were over someone. Then you see them again, and everything comes flooding back. All the beautiful memories and all the mistakes you wish you could take back, and there were a lot of mistakes you wished you could take back with Tyler. You’d never loved anyone the way you loved him, and you didn’t think you ever would. Seeing him again had reminded you of that.
Letting out a sad sigh, you sat down on your bed. Then there was Tyler’s invitation and disappointment. You hated disappointing him almost as much as you hated disappointing yourself. It had taken several years of therapy and hard work to not be so scared of ending up with the same fate as your father. You had grown though. You had learned about yourself and the things that caused those reactions. While getting close to a tornado was definitely dangerous, you knew that Tyler would take care of you. You also knew that you didn’t want to miss out on any more experiences in your life because you were afraid.
You stood up, not allowing yourself another moment to try and talk yourself out of it, and left your room, knocking at the one three doors down.
Tyler answered, clad in his white t-shirt and jeans, and smiled when he realized it was you. “Hey, what’s up?”
Good lord was there ever a moment when this man didn’t look incredible? You swallowed, then nodded. “I changed my mind.”
He leaned against the doorway, eyebrows raised in confusion. “About what?”
You took a deep breath. “I wanna go on a chase.”
Tyler beamed.
————————
It took three days for a storm to come through that Tyler felt good about. They had done some chasing in that time, but Tyler hadn’t brought you along because he said they hadn’t been the “right one”. The wait made you anxious, but you trusted Tyler’s instincts, and every night they were back at the motel ready to tell you about their day. You thought that they might eventually get bored of all your questions, but they were not only great, but amazing storytellers as well. You could see why their YouTube channel was so popular.
Not that you spent a whole day watching it while they were gone or anything.
Finally though, the day arrived and you found yourself standing outside by Tyler’s truck waiting for the team to join you, your heart pumping a little faster than normal. “Morning!” A voice called, pulling your attention away from inspecting Tyler’s truck again, and you saw the man in question heading towards you with a paper sack in one hand and an iced coffee in the other. “Haven’t talked yourself out of this yet?”
You shook your head. “Nope. I’m doing this.” You smiled as Tyler handed you the coffee and bag. “Did you seriously get-?”
“Your breakfast sandwich and coffee? Yes, you need fuel for the road.” Tyler used his now free hands to open the door for you. “Hop on in, and let’s get going.”
“Wait,” you said, glancing around. “Is everyone else meeting us there?”
Tyler leaned against the door, and you watched as he looked at the sky behind you, then turned his gaze back to you. “Nah, I gave them the day off. I didn’t want you to have to deal with pressure from them if we get there and you decide not to do this.”
You bit your lip. He was always so thoughtful. Back when he knew you, he would have had to drag you to this truck kicking and screaming, which he never would, and the fact that he wanted to save you some embarrassment in case you decided not to do this was just like him. Unable to help yourself, you reached out and gave his hand a squeeze. “Thank you.” You said sincerely.
“Well,” you inhaled sharply as Tyler took a little step closer to you. “I’ve got to admit, getting you alone for the day also played a factor.”
Your eyes widened and a shy smile formed on your face even while your mind was spinning. Over the past few days there had been brief moments where you thought Tyler might have been flirting with you, but you talked yourself out of it. Now though . . . Was there actually a chance this man still wanted you? He couldn’t. Not after how you had treated him. It didn’t make sense. “You might end up regretting that, you know?” You told him.
Tyler reached up, and your whole body froze as he brushed some hair behind your ear. “I’ve never regretted a moment I’ve been with you.”
His response took the breath from your lungs. “Ty . . .” You didn’t know what to say. Your heart was beating so fast it hurt. How could he possibly not regret that night? The night that you broke his heart?
“I’ve missed you calling me that, you know?” He smiled at you, and then took a step back. “Come on, let’s get going.”
Once again, you wanted to say something, but what? Nothing sounded right in your mind. So instead you hopped up in the truck and watched as he closed the door behind you.
————————
“Can I be honest?” You asked him several hours later.
“I didn’t realize you ever weren’t.” Tyler joked, sending you a smirk.
You swatted at him playfully. “I didn’t expect all the waiting. What happens if nothing comes?”
“Oh, something’s gonna happen.” He insisted, looking at some clouds in the distance. “Don’t you have any faith in me?”
While he was kidding, you didn’t stop the serious words that slipped past your lips. “You know I have all the faith in the world in you.”
Ty’s smile turned from something joking to something genuine. “Even after all these years?”
You smiled at him. “It never stopped. I always knew you were destined for great things.” You admitted, and it was the truth. In fact, you’d never been more sure of anything in your life.
“Just not riding on the back of a bull.” He replied, and though he winked at you, the mention of one of the reasons from your breakup filled the air with tension.
Then the question that you had been dying to ask since you first saw him burst from your lips. “Why did you quit?”
Tyler looked at you then, and you knew that look well. He was reading your expression, your eyes, your body language. He’d always been able to tell what you were thinking simply by looking at you, and this time was no different. “It wasn’t because of you.” He said, reaching over to place his hand on top of yours and giving it a gentle squeeze. “I mean, you were part of the reason, but it was more about me realizing you were right, and I could do more with my life.”
He knew you had been carrying that guilt of wondering if you were the reason he quit something that he had loved so much. He told you that you weren’t, but you still frowned, looking out at the darkening sky miles away. “I wish I’d said it differently.”
There was silence for a moment as you two watched the storm, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. It felt more reflective, and your thoughts were only confirmed when he spoke up. “Do you ever wonder where we’d be now? If you’d stayed?”
If only he knew . . . “I guess that depends.” You bumped your shoulder against his. “Would you have proposed by now?” You teased, but a part of you wanted to know the answer.
Tyler grinned at you, an adoring look on his face. “Oh definitely.”
A flush heated up your face as a pleased smile fell on your lips. “Then I guess we’d be married and driving each other crazy.”
“Not to mention being driven crazy by the kids.” Tyler added.
You let out a laugh. “After ten years, you still want three kids?”
“Three is a good number.” He defended.
You rolled your eyes. “You know I have this friend now. She just had her fourth. Going over to her house almost makes me not want any at all.”
“That’s because she has four. Three, perfect number.” Tyler said, holding up three fingers. “Four?” He added a finger. “Now that’s just asking for trouble.”
“Especially if they were your kids.” You added, grinning over at him.
“Ah, we could handle them.” Tyler said with a wink in your direction.
A vision formed in your mind of what he was describing. Three kids, all of varying ages, but in your mind it was two boys and one girl. The boys would be almost an exact copy of Tyler, blonde hair and blue-green eyes, dimples and charming smiles. Troublemakers, but also sweethearts who cared deeply and loved life to the fullest. Then the little girl. She definitely had a majority of your features but with Tyler’s smile. She would have Tyler so wrapped around her finger it would almost be embarrassing. Then there’d be Tyler and you, watching all the craziness unfold from your back porch with a glass of sweet tea in your hands. You were happy. You were loved, and you were home.
At that moment, you realized you never wanted anything so badly in your life. You wanted it so badly your chest literally ached with it. Looking over at Tyler made it hurt worse. You thought being away from him would make the love you had fade, but it turned out, the opposite had occurred. In fact, seeing him watch the sky with a content smile and talking about what could have been made you realize you loved him more now. You had loved him in high school, you’d loved him in his early twenties, but this was different. You were different and so was he.
The question was . . . Would he take you back if you tried? You knew you didn’t deserve it. You were the reason the two of you broke up. If you were in his shoes, you didn’t think you could forgive yourself. Tyler had always been a better person than you though.
Was it worth a shot trying?
“Hey,” Tyler pulled you out of your thoughts, lifting your hand and pointing it to something in the distance. “Do you see those clouds?”
You looked out to where he was pointing your hand and frowned. Those definitely looked dark, and they were . . . “Are those spinning?”
“That’s the updraft, and it’s cycling.” He told you.
“And that means . . .”
“That means-” Tyler stood up, put his baseball cap back on his head, and held out his hand to help you off the bed of his truck. “We’ve got a winner.”
————————
You were going to throw up. At least it felt like you were. Not five minutes after you guys reached the storm did a tornado touchdown. Tyler said it was rated for an EF1, so it would be safe to drive into. Well, as safe as driving into a tornado could be. As fast as your heart was pounding, and as sick as you felt you might be, you leaned forward to get a better look out the window. You couldn’t deny the beauty in it. “I’ve never seen something so amazing and scary at the same time.” You admitted.
“It’s incredible isn’t it?”
As nervous as you were, the look on Tyler’s face made you smile. God you hadn’t seen him this excited since he had been on the back of a bull. “It is. Especially when it doesn’t look like it’s going to kill me.”
Tyler laughed, and he pulled to a stop. “Nah, this is just an EF 1. This and the truck are going to keep you completely safe.” Tyler said, reaching to tug at the harness he had secured so tightly to your body that you felt like you couldn’t take a deep breath.
As you watched the tornado race forward, you felt your heart rate start to kick back up and took a deep breath. “And you too right?” You asked, biting your bottom lip.
He parked the truck and faced you, a rare serious expression crossing his face. “You know I wouldn’t let anything happen to you.”
At that moment, you realized you did. Tyler would never willingly put you in danger. He cared about you too much. If he said it was safe, it was. “I do.” You agreed, taking a deep breath, well, as much as you could in this harness. “Let’s do this.”
The grin came back to his face full force as he started pressing buttons on his truck, anchoring it down into the ground as the tornado got closer and closer. “You’re gonna love this.”
”Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god.” Even though you knew you were safe, there was nothing quite like a tornado heading straight towards you while you’re stuck in place. “Tyler . . . This is crazy.”
It was getting closer and closer. Only yards away, and your heart was pounding harder and harder in your chest. You didn’t even think. Your hand reached for his, gripping it tightly as the tornado hit the truck.
Tyler gave your hand a reassuring squeeze, “look up.” He called over the wind, and you did as he asked, leaning towards your side of the car to see out the window.
It was the most incredible thing you’d ever seen. You could see all the way up the funnel to the clouds above as the vortex passed over you. You’d never seen anything like it in your life, and a laugh of disbelief left your lips as you watched it pass over you. When it was done you looked over at Tyler, shock all over your face. “Was that real? Did that actually just happen? Did I just see inside a damn tornado?!”
Letting out a chuckle at your questions, Tyler nodded. “You sure as hell did.”
You let out another laugh yourself and started unbuckling all of your straps. You needed one last look to convince yourself that you had done it. Once you were free, you hopped out of the truck, running around the back to watch it keep going through the field behind you. You heard the truck door close again, but you didn’t turn around, still mesmerized, until you felt Tyler’s hand on your shoulder.
“So, how do you feel?” He asked.
His question was loaded for so many reasons. Years ago, he never would have gotten you close enough to even see a tornado, much less let it speed over you. You were so proud of yourself for doing this, but also sad. How many other life experiences had you missed because of how your father’s life choices had traumatized you? There was no good way to answer his question, so you just did what you wanted to. You jumped up, latching your arms around his neck, and your legs around his waist.
Of course he caught you easily, laughing as he spun you around and held you close. One of his hands rested on your back, while the other cradled your head against his shoulder. After a moment, he let out a content sigh. “I’m so proud of you.”
You clutched tighter to him. He had no idea how much those words meant coming from him. Tyler had seen you at your absolute worst, when you had no one but him. You had clung to him then, leaning on him more than was healthy until you knew that you couldn’t anymore. It made you want to cry, knowing how far you had come and that Tyler could see it. You pulled back to look at him so he could see your watery smile too. “I’m proud of myself.”
The butterflies in your stomach were doing somersaults as he looked at you. His fingers tightened in your hair, and you felt his arm muscles tense against your back. There was tension in the air, no doubt about it, and you found your eyes drawn to those familiar soft lips. You wanted to kiss him. A part of you wondered if it would be the same, or even better because you both were older. You weren’t sure, but either way, you wanted to find out. When you saw his eyes glance at your lips too, you knew he was thinking the same thing. Unable to help yourself, you let your fingers tangle in his hair, pulling yourself the slightest bit closer to him until your noses were brushing.
Then his phone rang.
Whatever spell the two of you had been under broke. Tyler slowly let you down to the ground, but reached for your hand, tangling your fingers with his and keeping you close. “Hey, Boone, what’s up?”
You glanced down at your hands with a soft smile. Tyler’s hands were big and calloused from work and bulls, but they felt nice. You brushed your thumb on the outside of his palm, and he gave your hand a squeeze.
“Yeah, we got one. She handled it like a pro.” Tyler told him, grinning over at you. There was a bit of silence for a moment as the phone conversation continued. “Let me ask her, and I’ll let you know? All right, sounds good. I’ll see you soon.” He hung up the phone and tugged you a little closer again. “Feel like celebrating seeing inside your first tornado?” Tyler asked.
————————
Three hours later you found yourself in new clothes, freshly showered, line dancing between Dani and Boone. You were almost crying from laughing so hard, and your face hurt from smiling so much. It blew your mind that two weeks ago you were sitting in your apartment in South Carolina feeling alone and stuck with writer's block. Now you were back in your hometown, having a blast, writing faster than you had in years, and desperate to get back together with the man who was watching you from the booth, an adorable smile on his face. Feeling a little bold after your almost kiss, you sent him a wink as Boone spun you around, causing his smile to widen.
“You guys are disgustingly cute.” Dani said as the song slowed down and the three of you started to exit the floor.
Heat rushed to your face, and you found yourself asking the question you’d been wanting to ask for days. “Why have you guys been so nice to me anyway? Tyler’s your best friend, and I’m his ex. I broke his heart, but you’ve been nothing but kind to me since the start.”
Boone and Dani exchanged a look. “Yeah, you’re right. If it had been another one of Tyler’s exes we probably would hate you.” Boone said, shrugging his shoulders.
“But you were the one who got away for Tyler, and he’s never said anything but great things about you. Plus,” Dani reached out and patted your shoulder. “It's kinda obvious the two of you are still in love with each other.”
The words hit you like a truck, and then you felt stupid for not realizing it before. You looked at the man sitting at the booth again. This time he was talking to Dexter, his expression animated, and his hands moving wildly with his words. Of course you still loved him. You never stopped. You buried it, hid from it so you could try to better yourself. When you left, you knew you weren’t good enough for him, you probably still weren’t, but now you knew you could love him like you were supposed to. If he was open to it. Boone and Dani made it seem like he was. He had given you signs that he was at least interested . . . The only question was how could you show him that you wanted it too?
An idea hit, and a small smile formed on your face. “I’ll catch up with you guys in a minute okay?” You said to their confused faces and headed to the DJ stand. You gave him twenty bucks, which he gladly took, and promised your song would be next. By the time you’d made it back to the booth where everyone was seated, Never Leave by Bailey Zimmerman was playing.
You approached Tyler, who was looking at you curiously as you held your hand out to him. “Dance with me?” You said, biting your bottom lip.
A surprised, but happy smile formed on his face. “Yes ma’am.”
It was not your and Tyler’s first dance. Probably wasn’t even your hundredth, and dancing with him was as effortless as remembering how to ride a bike. One of his hands rested on the small of your back while the other took yours. You placed your hand on his bicep, giving his arm a squeeze. You didn’t want to say anything. The lyrics of the song could do all the talking for you. Tyler led you around the floor with ease, and as the song went on, you could see the moment the words started to sink in. He leaned forward, his forehead pressing against yours, and he whispered your name so reverently it made you close your eyes.
“Just listen,” you said softly, tightening your grip on his hand, letting the song say the words you wanted to. Tyler’s arm pulled you even closer until it was almost hard to dance, your bodies pressed against each other. Your heart was pounding so hard you were sure he could feel it against his chest, but you didn’t care anymore. You were laying it all out there now.
As the song ended, you felt Tyler’s lips against your forehead, soft and lingering. Warmth exploded throughout your body, and you pulled back to look up at him.
“Come back to the hotel with me?” You asked, your thumb caressing his arm, almost pleading with your voice.
Tyler’s hand reached up to cup your cheek, and you immediately leaned into his touch, your whole body craving it. “Are you sure?” He asked.
You nodded. There was nothing you were more sure about right now.
He took a step back from you, grabbing your hand and tugging you back to the booth where everybody else was sitting with knowing eyes. He told them that the two of you were leaving. You tried to ignore them, but you couldn’t help but grin when you saw them giving you a thumbs up or silently cheering as Tyler had his back turned.
The ride was quiet, but it wasn’t uncomfortable, it was more filled with tension, and the two of you kept glancing at each other and smiling. He never let go of your hand either until he parked at the motel and came around to open your door. Before you could get down though, he stopped you. “This is what you want right? I don’t want to misinterpret what I think is happening here or pressure you in any way-”
You placed your hands on his face and leaned closer, interrupting him with your first kiss in ten years.
For a moment, he didn’t respond. It was clear you had surprised him, but then his hands gripped your hips, and he was kissing you back.
It was even better than you remembered. It had been good back in late high school and your early twenties, there was no doubt about it. Something about now was different though. Maybe it was because you were older, maybe it was because it had been so long, or maybe it was because you felt healed. Whatever it was, kissing Tyler now blew every kiss you’d had before out of the water.
It was a short kiss, chaste, just to reassure him that you did want him, but when you pulled away the two of you were still breathless. “Am I crazy or was that incredible?” You asked, your hands sliding down his face to his chest.
Tyler laughed, but nodded, his own hands dragging down your thighs and resting on your knees. “It was,” he replied, but then a smirk fell on his lips, “but we can do better.”
Not one minute later, you were trying to open the door to your room, Tyler’s large hand low on your stomach as his lips left soft kisses on your neck from behind. You could barely concentrate as heat pooled where his hand rested, and you could not get the key in the door as he kissed a certain spot on your neck. “Ty,” you said through an exasperated laugh. “If you keep doing that I’ll never get us in this room.”
He took the key from your hand, but didn’t stop kissing your neck. You closed your eyes in pleasure as he did, letting him take over the door situation, and in a frustratingly short amount of time, you heard the door knob turn. Your eyes snapped open, turning in Tyler’s arms to find him smirking at you again.
“How the hell did you do that so easily?” You asked, weaving your arms around his neck as he carefully backed you into the room.
He shrugged, shutting the door behind him. “Guess you were just too distracted to focus.”
You playfully glared at him, “I was not-” but you let out a gasp as he suddenly spun you around, pinning you to the door with his body.
He didn’t say anything for a moment, just smiling at you as his hands rested on your hips, his thumbs brushing under your shirt to touch heated skin. “You were, but it’s okay. I liked it.”
Well he had certainly become more confident in the years apart. Not that he ever wasn’t, but you could definitely tell a difference. However, you had gained a little bit of confidence too, and you smirked at him. “Oh, I can tell.” You replied, pushing your hips forward to press against the hardness you felt.
Tyler bit his lip at your movements, his hands gripping your hips harder. “We don’t have to do anything. I want you to know that.”
It drove you crazy, how he could go from being sexy and confident to sweet and respectful within a minute. You slid your arms up his chest and around his neck, tugging his head down to yours. “I want to.” You told him. “Do you?”
He let out a breathless chuckle, “You have no idea how badly I want to.” Tyler said, “I’ve wanted to since the moment I saw you at that gas station.” He told you, his nose brushing against yours.
Tyler had been wanting to get together with you for that long? Your heart started thumping wildly in your chest, and you let out a sigh as his warm hand slipped up the back of your shirt pressing you against him. “You know, I don’t look the same as I did ten years ago.” You admitted, a little bit of insecurity leaking out as you thought about the last time the two of you were together.
He shook his head, and his hands left a trail of heat as they slid down your back to grip your thighs. “You look better.”
Your hands slipped into his soft hair. “Now, I know that’s not true.”
You let out a nose of surprise as Tyler used his grip on your thighs to lift you into the air with his body, smirking up at you. “I think you’re forgetting . . .” His lips found a spot on your neck that he had always kissed, a spot that made chills explode over your body and made a soft moan leave your lips. “I know this body better than anyone.” He whispered in your ear.
Tyler was right. He had been with you more than anyone else, seen every part of you bare. So what if you didn’t look the same as you did in high school. You were sure he didn’t either. Based on what you felt against your body though, you didn’t think that was a bad thing. You let your hands trail from his hair down his neck and to his chest, noting how his body flexed under your touch. “I think I might need a refresher on yours.” You teased, biting your lip as you played with the buttons on his shirt.
He raised his eyebrows, a smirk on his lips. “Oh, is that what you need?”
With fingers that were much steadier than what you felt, you unbuttoned a couple of the top buttons from his shirt. It wasn’t much, but enough to slip your hands into and touch his heated skin. It was the first time you had touched him, really touched him, in so long, and it made you ache for so much more. You pressed your forehead against his, “Right now I need everything you’re willing to give me.” You admitted honestly.
“Well then,” Tyler’s hands slid down to your ass, holding you close as he started carrying you to the bed. “It’s a good thing I’m willing to give you everything.” He said as he placed you gently on the bed.
His words made your heart stop for a second and a huge swell of affection for him filled your heart. You wanted to tell him that you still loved him then. That you wanted to give him everything too. The words wouldn’t come though. Not yet anyway.
So instead, you tried to say them with a kiss. You sat up, grabbing his face in your hands, and tugged him down to meet your lips. The first time you had surprised him, and it took him a moment to respond. That was not the case this time. He kissed you back at once, moving your lips in a dance the two of you knew well. While the first kiss had been sweet, this one was full of passion and tenderness. You let out a little sigh when his lips parted and attempted to pull him closer. It had been so long since you had gotten to really touch him, and you didn’t want to waste another second not doing it.
He complied, climbing into the bed on top of you, settling between your thighs and letting out a strangled groan as you pushed your hips up into him. He pressed his own against yours and you let out your own moan at the delicious friction.
The sound made him pull away however, and you frowned, since that was the opposite of what you wanted right now. You watched him as he sat up, his gaze traveling over your body with such intensity you could feel your face heating up. Tyler’s hands rested on your stomach finally, tugging up your tank top so slowly it made you want to just yank it off yourself so his hands could be all over you. Waiting turned out to be worth it though, because as soon as your shirt was off, he started kissing down your neck. Your eyes closed as his lips went lower, and you arched your chest against his mouth as he got closer to one of the spots you wanted his mouth the most.
“Have you been with other guys?”
That made your eyes snap open. Those were not the words you expected to come out of his mouth when he was about two seconds away from putting his mouth around you. “W-What?” You said breathlessly.
But he didn’t seem upset or anything, just genuinely curious. In fact he was grinning at you, his hands resting on your bare hips. “It’s been ten years. You have, right?”
“Is now really the time for the, ‘how many people have you slept with since me?’ conversation?” You asked, raising your eyebrows at him.
Tyler leaned down, pressing his lower body against yours again as his lips hovered over yours. “I don’t care about the number.” He said, shaking his head. “I just want you to know I’m about to kiss the memory of anyone else from your body.”
His words took your breath from your lungs, but you tried not to let him see how much they affected you. Your arms slipped around his neck, fingers sliding into his hair. “You’re talking a lot of game for someone who hasn’t initiated a single kiss.” You teased.
He chuckled, close enough that his lips brushed yours for the briefest moment. “Isn’t it better if you have to wait for it?”
A soft smile fell on your face then as you ran your fingers through his hair. “Ty, you haven’t kissed me in ten years. Haven’t we waited long enough?”
He leaned back so he could look at your face, smiling at the look you were giving him. “Yeah. I think we have.”
Finally, he leaned forward and kissed you, setting your whole body on fire with the intensity of it. Your lips parted almost immediately, and his tongue slipped into your mouth, exploring you thoroughly. His hands did the same, heat trailing after them everywhere he touched.
You knew then, as the two of you kissed and your body, and heart, felt close to combustion, that this was it for you. You had been with other men in your time apart, and none of them had ever come close to making you feel like this. Back when you and Tyler had first started dating, you thought he might have been the one, but now you were sure. So no matter what happened tomorrow, or even after that, you knew that Tyler Owens was going to be it for you.
To your shock and surprise, you didn’t find that scary at all.
A breathless sigh left your lips as he slowly pulled away, and he smiled down at you, brushing some hair out of your face. “God you’re beautiful.”
You had always remembered what he was like in bed, how sweet he could be, but hearing it again was a different story. He had always made you feel so comfortable and sexy, you were so glad to know that none of that had changed. “I missed you.” You blurted out, heat rushing to your face at the confession.
But his smile just widened, leaning down to press a kiss against your jaw. “You’ve got no idea . . .” He started kissing down your neck again. “How much I’ve missed you,” he said, and you couldn’t help but squirm a little as he kissed down your stomach, your breath coming a little faster as his kisses got lower and lower. Your hands tangled into his hair, biting your bottom lip and arching up into his hand as he started unbuttoning your jeans.
You lifted your hips as he slid your jeans and underwear down the rest of your body, casting them aside somewhere in the room. You didn’t really care where. Tyler kissed back up your body, pausing for a moment on your bra, the last article of clothing you were wearing. After giving him an encouraging nod, he unclasped it, tossing it somewhere too, leaving you completely naked.
He stared at you, and you felt heat following everywhere his gaze went. His gaze didn’t make you uncomfortable though, it made you feel . . . Desirable. While his eyes looked you over, your eyes watched his face, biting your lip as your hands slid up and down his arms. “You know you’re wearing too many clothes.”
Tyler grinned down at you. “You wanna help with that?”
You sat up then, returning his smile. “I would love to.” You took your time, slowly unbuttoning his shirt and taking in every bit of skin that was revealed. Tyler had been fit when the two of you were dating, but now? He looked like he’d come straight out of a magazine. Once his shirt was unbuttoned, you let your hands trail down his chest as you leaned forward to press a kiss to his neck. You felt his whole body relax as your hands slid back up his hard muscles to push his shirt off him, and you trailed your lips across his shoulder and down his arm.
As soon as his shirt was off him, you made your way back up his arm, pressing gentle kisses every few inches until you reached his face again. He was smiling at you, and you couldn’t help but press a peck against his lips, then another until he had his arms wrapped tightly around you, holding you against his warm chest. Letting out a sigh, you kept your forehead against his for a second, soaking the moment in.
“I never thought we’d be here again.” Tyler said, shaking his head as his hand dragged up and down your bare back.
“Me either.” You admitted, letting one of your hands comb through his soft blonde hair, “but I’m glad we are.”
Tyler didn’t say anything, but leaned forward to meet you in a kiss that said everything he needed to. It told you how much he missed you, the familiarity of his lips moving in rhythm with yours. It told you how badly he wanted you when his tongue slipped into your mouth to caress your own. Then his lips weren’t the only thing showing how much he cared as he gently laid you down on the bed, never letting your lips disconnect.
It was illogical, but you hoped his lips never left you again. You were drowning, no, floating in him, submerged but safe in the warmth of him as his body laid on top of yours. Your legs automatically wrapped around his hips, and a moan left your lips as the two of you came into contact.
Tyler pulled away then, but he didn’t go far, leaving kisses down your chin and neck. “You keep making noises like that, and this is not going to last as long as I want it to.”
You let out a breathless laugh, tugging at his hair. “The noises are your fault, Owens. You’re the one with no-” you let out a gasp as his lips found your breast, pleasure burning straight to your core. “-Self control.” You panted.
He gave your nipple a gentle bite, causing you to whimper, before he pulled away to look up at you. “Sorry, what was that about self control?” Tyler asked with a smirk playing on his lips.
“That you have none.” You said, arching your hips up to rub against him for a moment, making him groan against your skin. “But I don’t think I have any either when it comes to you.”
His smirk turned into a smile, and his lips found your breast again, immediately shooting even more pleasure through your body.
Nobody really talks about what it’s like to have sex with someone you used to date years ago. Tyler knew your body so well, he knew exactly how you liked to be touched, and what spots would drive you crazy. It was so easy to fall back into it. On top of that though, the two of you had been with other people in the last few years, and you had more experience and confidence than the kids you used to be.
There was no hesitation in Tyler’s hands as they explored your body, and none in yours as one dragged down his back and the other tangled in his hair, holding him against you. You let out another moan as his hand moved from your inner thigh and a finger slid inside of you.
He let out another groan as he discovered how wet you were, and leaned up to press his forehead against yours as he added a second finger in. “Are you already ready for me, sweetheart?”
You nodded, bumping your nose against his. “Do you have a condom? I wasn’t anticipating-”
“Having sex with your ex-boyfriend in a motel room?” Tyler grinned as he reached into the back pocket of the jeans you forget he was still wearing and pulled out his wallet, reaching in to take out a condom. “Guess it’s a good thing I’m always prepared.” He said with a smirk.
You rolled your eyes playfully, but secretly you’d never been more thankful. If the two of you had to stop now to run out and buy condoms, you might’ve lost your mind. You slid your hands down his well defined chest, biting your lip at the muscles you felt there before stopping to rest on the belt of his jeans. “You’re still wearing too many clothes though.” You reminded him.
“Weren’t you supposed to be helping me with that?” He asked, raising an eyebrow at you.
Narrowing your eyes at him, you started undoing his belt. “It’s not my fault you distracted me with how hot you are.”
He laughed, moving your hands out of the way to get his jeans off faster. “Why do you think I got your clothes off so fast? Can’t get distracted if they’re already off.”
“Guess I’ll just have to remember that for next time.” You teased, sliding your hands back up his chest to rest on his shoulders. It was only when his body froze that you realized what you said. The two of you stared at each other, and you had no clue what to say about your implication of a next time. You didn’t even know if he’d want a next time . . .
Tyler didn’t let the moment linger though. He shoved the rest of his clothes off and leaned down to kiss you, hard, and all consuming in a way that erased every thought from your head except how much you needed him. Your legs wrapped around his waist, and you let out a gasp as your hips came into contact.
You had forgotten how big he was.
Almost as if sensing your thoughts, he pulled away slowly from your lips, barely leaving a centimeter between them as his finger trailed up and down your slit for a moment. “You can take it. You’ve done it before.” He whispered, and then slipped three fingers inside of you. The sudden intrusion sent your nails digging into his shoulders and heat exploding across your body. “If you can take that, you can take me.” He assured you, pressing a soft kiss to your lips.
He was going to ruin you. Part of you thought he already had, since every other time you’d had sex, he was always on your mind, but now you were sure of it. Nobody was ever going to get you more turned on than Tyler Owens. You nodded, because it seemed like he was waiting for an acknowledgment, and attempted to pull him closer with your legs when his fingers slid out of you. “It’s just - it’s been a while.” You admitted.
Tyler gave you a gentle smile. “For me too.”
His words shocked you for a second, but then you realized they shouldn’t have. Tyler had never been a one night stand kinda guy. As confident as he was, even before the two of you had started dating, he’d only ever dated girls he felt a genuine connection with. The fact that he still felt that with you enough to want to do this had emotions clogging up your throat. You let your hands trail down his body again, taking the condom from his hand and slipping it on him, your gaze never leaving his face as you enjoyed the sight of his reaction to you touching him. “Then let’s not wait anymore.” You said, guiding him towards you.
He didn’t need any more encouragement. He pressed forward, and you let out a sigh as he slipped inside of you, your head falling back against the pillow. It was a tight fit, there was no doubt, but he moved slowly, showing, once again, how well he knew your body. Any time you tensed up, he paused, though you could feel by how tense his muscles were how much he was holding back. “That’s right,” he would tell you when your breath started to come faster. “Remember how well you take me?”
Oh God you did. He fit inside of you like no one else. Even years later he filled you up just enough to not be painful, but more than enough to be satisfying. Another gasp of air left your lips as he pushed more inside of you, and you could tell he was almost completely in.
“You’re doing such a good job.” Tyler said, leaving another kiss against your skin. “Made just for me.” And while his voice was soft, it was also strained from effort.
You opened your eyes as you felt him push forward again, and dug your nails into where they had rested on his shoulders once more as he pushed completely inside of you, letting out a sigh of pleasure as he did.
There was nothing like this. Absolutely nothing. You moved your eyes from the ceiling to find him looking at you like you’d just hung each star in the sky for him alone. “Tell me what you’re thinking.” He said breathlessly.
Did he really expect you to be able to think right now? You couldn’t think enough to have a filter if you opened your mouth, and you knew that was partially what he wanted. So you let the words slip from your lips. “I’m thinking about how no ones ever felt as good as you do.” He rewarded your words with a little thrust of his hips that had you gasping. “I’m thinking about how you’ve ruined me for anyone else.” Another thrust, this one harder, and you tightened your legs around him. “And I’m thinking about how much I missed you, Ty.” You said softly, letting out a whimper as his hand slid up to your breast, cupping it and letting his thumb caress your nipple.
He didn’t say anything for a moment. Just watching as your hips jerked against his, desperate for the pleasure only he could provide, his eyes locked on your face as if he was committing it to memory. “Would you believe me if I told you I was thinking about all those things too?”
You didn’t have to think about it. You nodded, moving your hands from his shoulders to tangle in his hair. “I know.”
Tyler leaned down to meet your lips in a bruising kiss as he thrust inside of you, starting a slow and steady pace that continued to pick up speed with every passing minute until you couldn’t keep up the kiss any longer. Your head fell back against the pillows, and your eyes closed in pleasure as his warm, calloused hand traveled down your body to where the two of you met. “Eyes on me sweetheart.” He said, and pressed his thumb against your clit.
“Fuck, Ty!” Your eyes snapped open and your chest arched into his, tugging on his hair at the overstimulating sensation. His hips stuttered for a moment as you felt yourself clench around him, but he kept up the movement of his thumb, tracing circles around it. The pleasure was almost too much. You could feel it building inside of you, desperate for release, and you clung tightly to him. “I can’t- I’m-” You couldn’t even get the words out, too overwhelmed with feelings.
“It’s okay, you can let go.” He said, “I’ve got you.” He assured you, never ceasing his pace or his finger.
His words triggered your release, almost as if you’d been waiting for permission and you moaned out his name as it washed over you. You clung to him like he was a liferaft, holding you in above water as you clenched around him. You heard him groan your name, saying how good you were, and within seconds you felt his body tense, falling over the edge with you.
As the pleasure faded from your body to satisfaction, you didn’t want to let him go and groaned in discontent when he pulled back and out of you. He chuckled and leaned down to press a soft kiss to your forehead. “I’ll be right back.”
You sighed, opening your eyes as you watched him head into the bathroom, unable to believe that you had just had sex with such an attractive man, even if he was your ex. He was more than an attractive man though, or just your ex. He was Tyler. The boy you gave your heart to ten years ago who never gave it back. A tender smile was on your lips as he came back to you with a damp washcloth and started gently cleaning you up.
“You okay?” He asked, the hand that wasn’t cleaning you up resting on your thigh and rubbing the skin there.
“I will be once you get back in bed.” You replied, and your smile widened at the pleased expression on his face. You let out a laugh as he tossed the washcloth aside and hurriedly climbed into bed, spooning you against his back.
He nuzzled into your neck, leaving kisses against your skin as he made himself comfortable against you, and shivers exploded across your body as his hand rested on your stomach. “Comfortable?” Tyler asked, pressing another kiss to your cheek.
Being in his arms again? Comfortable didn’t even begin to describe it. As cliche and embarrassing as it sounded, for the first time since you’d come to your hometown, you actually felt like you were home. “Perfect,” you replied, scooting back even more into him.
And you meant it.

You woke up cold, but oh so satisfied. Part of you wondered if last night had been a dream, but you knew that your body couldn’t lie like that. You definitely had the post sex ache. You stretched your limbs out and rolled over, wanting to curl back into Tyler and maybe sleep for a few more hours, but you were met with nothing but sheets.
Frowning, you opened your eyes, letting your fingers drag across the fabric. It was cool, so he’d been gone for a while. It was only when your eyes drifted up to the pillow did you notice the scrap of paper.
Stay.
It was written quickly, almost as if an afterthought, and you frowned at it. Did he really think that he had to ask? You got out of bed, and found a tshirt in the floor. Slipping on your underwear and the tshirt, you sat down at the small table and grabbed your laptop. You’d been writing like crazy lately on a new book, and you’d definitely woken up feeling inspired this morning.
You weren’t sure how long you sat there typing. It was a great distraction from your thoughts, and when you got into the zone, it could be hours before you realized you hadn’t stood up from your chair. You weren’t so in the zone though that you didn’t hear the doorknob start to turn.
Tyler entered, once again looking entirely too good in his dark brown button down, jeans and cowboy hat. He carried a familiar brown bag and cup of iced coffee in his hand and held a cautious smile as he looked at you. “Brought you some breakfast.”
You held out your hands to take it from him, eagerly sipping at the iced coffee as he sat down at the seat across from you. “Thank you, I needed this.” You said, leaning back against your chair. He was watching you, that cautious look still on his face making you nervous. Was he regretting last night? Was he trying to figure out the polite way to tell you it had all been a mistake?
“What are you thinking?” He asked, and the sudden question threw you off, you didn’t even have the chance to think about throwing up a filter.
“I’m thinking that I hope you’re not regretting last night. I’m also thinking that you’re too far away.” You admitted, frowning at the distance between the two of you.
His whole body seemed to relax at your words and the smile that you knew and loved fell back onto his face. He held out his hand to you, and without hesitation you took it, returning his smile as he tugged you out of your chair to sit sideways across his lap. You buried your face in his neck, letting out a contented sigh as he wrapped his arms around you, and held you close. “Better?” Tyler asked, one of his hands tracing up and down your outer thigh.
You nodded, tightening your arms around him. “Much better.”
The two of you sat in silence for a few moments. You knew the conversation that needed to be had, but you had no clue how to even begin to start it. Should you blurt out how you feel? Should you ask him how he was feeling? Tyler beat you to the punch though with a statement that stopped your mind in its tracks.
“I read your book.”
Your body froze as your brain took a moment to process his words. Once they did, heat rushed to your face, and you pulled away to look at him. “How did you even-”
“Boone. He gave me a copy pretty much right after you showed up.” He said, and his hand gave your thigh a squeeze. “I noticed some . . . Similarities.”
You bet he did. More than enough to be embarrassing. You bit your lip, knowing the question that he wanted to ask, and decided to go ahead and give him the option to ask it anyway. “What do you want to know?” You finally said.
For a moment it wasn’t the new Tyler that you’d been getting to know over the past couple of weeks that was looking at you. The confident, caring, intelligent tornado wrangler. It was young Tyler, the bull rider who wanted nothing more than to ride his fears and bring you along for it. “I guess I’m just wondering why they got their happy ending, and we didn’t.”
Just because you anticipated it, doesn’t mean it hurt any less. “Ty . . .” You placed your hand on top of his, gripping it in yours. “I wrote that book two years after our breakup. I wasn’t ready to be her then. There were . . .” You took a deep breath. “A lot of things I was still holding onto.”
“But if I had quit when you asked me to-”
You were shaking your head before he could even finish his sentence. “I never should have asked you to do that.” You let go of his hand to take his face in your hands to encourage him to keep his eyes on you. “Tyler, our breakup had absolutely everything to do with me, and nothing to do with you.” This confession had been sitting on the tip of your tongue for years now, and you finally had the courage to say it. “I looked at you, riding those bulls, and all I could see was my dad. It scared me.” You admitted, caressing his cheek with your thumb. “Drunk, constantly concussed, and soon to be dead either from one or the other. I know that’s not you now, and I should’ve known it back then, but I was too damaged.”
Tyler looked sad, his hand still caressing your skin. “I would have fought for you.”
“I know.” You said, and you did. You knew that Tyler would have fought to stay by your side until the end if you hadn’t pushed him away.
“You were everything to me back then.”
God it hurt. Remembering the look on his face when you had walked out that door. You still had nightmares about it, but like you had struggled to learn, there was nothing you could do about it now. The two of you sat there for a moment before you finally got the courage to ask the question you’d been wanting to. “What about now?” You asked. “Think we can make it?”
A small, disbelieving smile formed on his face. “Is that an option?”
You nodded. “At least I hope it is. That ball’s in your court Tyler Owens. I’m the one that broke your heart.” You said, sliding a hand down to rest over his heart. “So . . . is that an option?” You asked, biting your lip as your heart started thumping heavily against your chest. God what if you’d just said all that and spent the best night of your life with him for Tyler to say it wasn’t worth the risk? That’d you’d done damage beyond repair?
Tyler didn’t give you time for your thoughts to get any more out of control. “Oh, it’s definitely an option.” He said, and his bright smile had your heart fluttering. “In fact, I’d say it’s my preferred option.”
You could barely believe it, even after last night. “You really want to give me a second chance?” You asked in disbelief.
His smile turned soft, and his hand covered your own on his chest. “Sweetheart, I’d give you all the chances in the world.”
And then, because you didn’t know what else to say, you leaned forward and kissed him.
Once again, everything was the same, but somehow different. A better different.

No where to Hyde 4 Dark!Tyler Galpin x reader
Previous part -> Here
Masterlist -> Here
Type: series
Summary: Unknowingly you complete the bond with the Hyde.
Warnings: 18+ only, mature, pure smut, fingering(fem receiving), oral (fem receiving), penetrative sex, slight dun con, yandere themes, dark themes
You hands ghosted over Tyler’s chest. After cleaning the scratches with antiseptic wipes, you started sticking butterfly stitches along the cuts. All the while Tyler watches you, as you gingerly acted as his nurse.
Your cheeks warmed when Tyler insisted you cleaned his wounds in his room. His father wasn’t home, but if he did come back Tyler was convinced you’d get in trouble. One for breaking curfew and two for being at his house. The thought of getting in trouble with principle Weems was enough for you to agree quickly.
They warmed a second time when he removed his shirt. You sat next to him on his bed, or more over him. You sat on your knees with your thighs spread as you reached over to work on him.
For the duration of your work you kept your eyes downcast. Avoiding making eye contact with Tyler. You knew that if you did you’d start to feel hot again. The wrong sort of hot.
It was hard though as you felt his gaze on you. It felt piercing on your skin. So piercing in fact, you toyed with the idea of getting the bandages ready for yourself.
You placed the last butterfly stitch on his chest, rubbing it over with your thumb.
“I think I’m done,” you told him as you rubbed over the rest of his stitches. “How does it feel?”
He swallowed, “it feels good. I’m lucky I had you to play nurse.”
You snickered, “Well I kind of had to when you said you didn’t want to go to the hospital.”
You moved off the bed. Packing all the supplies you’d used back into the green box. Tyler stood as well. He buttoned his flannel up half way.
You closed the first aid kit, pausing. “I should probably get back to Nevermore.”
Tyler had to stop himself. He needed to be careful how he phrased his next few words. Of course he didn’t want you to go. This was a good an opportunity as ever for him to make his move. But he needed to appear flippant about the situation. He needed to bring up you staying offhandedly, not desperately.
“It’s a bit late, I’m sure you’re roommate would notice you coming back at this time.” He mentioned. Walking down the stairs with you to put the first aid kit back.
“I don’t actually have a roommate, so I’m all good there.” You didn’t want to overstay you’re welcome, yet there was something tickling underneath your skin. Something that had started since you’d been alone with the Hyde. For the time you were touching Tyler it went away, almost. It felt nice, like a the warm sun. When you stopped touching him it felt like an itch, a burn.
You got to the kitchen, handing the box to Tyler so he could reach up and put it away.
“Well my dad could be back any minute, he’d see my car was gone and wonder where I was.”
You thought it over, you didn’t want Tyler to get in trouble.
“It sounds like you want me to stay.” You teased.
Tyler’s eyes moved to yours, his tongue darting across his lips. “And if I did?”
He reached a hand around you, trapping you against the counter. You face felt hot again and you stumbled to find the right words. His face got closer to yours. You could feel his breath against your cheek.
“I don’t have anything to wear here, so I can’t stay.”
Tyler pulled back, letting out a laugh. He held back from suggesting you sleep nude. Instead he got you two a glass of water each and started going back upstairs.
“But Tyler,” you called, almost having to jog to keep up with him. “I need something to wear.”
When the two of you got back to his room he put the glasses down then moved to his dresser. He searched the drawers for a minute then pulled out a T-shirt. An old one. One he knew was too small for him. He’s been meaning to get rid of it, now he was glad he hadn’t. He was hoping it would be small on you too.
“But, what about bottoms?”
In response he pulled out a pair of his boxer shorts. Unhappy with the situation, but unable to change it, you took them off him begrudgingly.
Tyler told you were the bathroom was and you went to change. You washed your face with water and used your fingers to comb through your hair.
You changed into the clothes he had given you. Finding that the shirt hugged your figure and came to your mid thigh. So you decided against wearing the boxers and kept your panties on.
Thoughts of the Hyde were frequent in your mind before. Now they seemed never ending. The main thought that consumed you was the Hydes sense of smell. If it could find you in the middle of the woods, it could certainly find you here. Only this time it could do worse than a few scratches.
You felt incredibly guilty for Tyler’s injury. You’d reasoned with yourself that it was your fault he was hurt. The beast had followed you and in the process Tyler had been hurt.
While you didn’t want to go and be some sort of sex doll for this Hyde, your mother was right. It came down to duty at the end of the day. If the Hyde stopped hurting people that was good. If you were the one needed to be sacrificed then so be it.
You would do it, you finalised. You’d do it to save your friends, Nevermore, the town and Tyler. No one deserved to be hurt if you could put a stop to the terror.
You didn’t realise you’d started to cry. You wiped your eyes and left the bathroom. Hoping to just go to sleep.
The lighting was dim, due to the small lamp tyler had put on instead of his main light. The lighting was calming and gave you more of a chance to hide your face.
“Hey so I was thinking that for tonight we shared - oh, what’s wrong?”
He’d seen your face. A few stray tears running down it with your eyes puffy and red.
You shrugged, “it’s nothing”.
He raised and eyebrow, suggesting he didn’t believe your obvious lie.
You sighed and moved to sit on the bed. He did too. He angled himself to sit against the headboard. Finding it easier to see pull you in to him from there.
You cried into his shoulder. You cried for your lost life. Lost future romances, lost first kissed, lost first time.
Without looking at Tyler you start to explain. You told him about your blood heritage and what it means. You tell him about the book and the hidden pages. You tell him about how the Hyde is attracted to your scent and it’s your duty to stop it.
He stroked your hair, comforting you as you faced his chest. He smiled to himself at the irony of it all. Here you were crying to him, the Hyde, about having to have sex with the Hyde.
It all seemed too good to be true. In your emotional state it would be easy to persuade you into doing anything, even letting him fuck you. Making it seem like one last time before committing yourself to the Hyde for the rest of your life, would be a good idea.
“What happens if you have sex before that?”
The air changed. It dawned on you now if it didn’t before, that you were alone with Tyler, in his bed, in his shirt, and in your panties. Tyler himself was wearing a different shirt and sweatpants.
You swallowed, “I don’t think it changed things. The Hyde will still want me.”
“So it won’t matter if you do or don’t.”
You sighed listening to the beat of Tyler’s heart, “No I suppose it won’t”
His hand came down from your back to the curve of your ass, just above where the shirt had ridden. His hand stroked your cheek, hand dancing along the hem of the shirt.
“Well then it won’t matter if we-”, he didn’t finish his sentence. He didn’t need to. The offer if you accepted it meant nothing. It would be one night before an eternity with someone else.
You moved to straddle his lap. Your hands on his sides, eyes looking at the faded design on his shirt.
“I’ve never,” he knew what you meant. He had, months ago. With some girl from school. It had happened once and the two never spoke of it again.
You felt hands cup the backs of your thighs, thumbs rubbing up and down your ass.
“It’s okay, just give yourself to me.”
The words seemed strange, but you did as he said. You let the tension from your shoulders dissipate as you relaxed into his touch.
His hands moved high, now under the shirt you wore. They stopped at your hips. You felt him moving you further up his lap. The gasp from your lips fell into a moan when his undeniable erection ground against your pantie covered core.
“Look at me baby”
The command brought your eyes up to his. Slowly, he made his lips met yours. Taking your breathe away in the kiss. It was passionate and slow. You’d definitely remember this as your first kiss.
Somewhere along the kisses, they become more desperate, faster and a little rougher. Your intoxicating scent was nothing compared to your taste. The Hyde he hid was pounding in his mind to get out.
You were flipped on to your back, with Tyler above you. He released you from the kiss so you could breath. But resumed as soon as he was sure you’d had the minimum amount of oxygen needed.
His hands found your hip once again. Now trailing up to your nipples. He rolled them in between his fingers causing you to let out the prettiest moan he’d ever heard.
Your borrowed T-shirt had been pushed up and was now just below your boobs. Leaving your panties on display to him. He continued toying with your nipple as one hand drifted to your panties.
You could feel his fingers running along the hem, making you whine at his teasing. He let out a breathy laugh. He couldn’t believe it. After all the planning in his head, it became obsolete. You handed yourself to him on a silver plate.
He let his index finger trail down the middle of your panties. Continuing their search for you bud. When the search was over he used his thumb to roll circles into your your clit, making you writher and try to buck your hips off the bed.
“Hey now, just relax. Stop moving”
And so you ceased to move. Making an effort to stay still, with your hips planted firmly into the mattress.
While his thumb rubbed your clit, he brought two fingers down to rub between your clothed clit. Feeling a wet patch start to form.
“Please,” you begged, unsure of what you wanted. “Please Tyler.”
“You sound so pretty begging for my touch. What do you want baby?”
You whined, not wanting to have to say anything. You wished he would pick up on your frustration and stop his teasing.
“Please Tyler, take them off.”
This time he listened. With your help he peeled your panties down from your crotch and off the ends of your toes. Before going back down he kissed you once more.
“You’re so pretty.” You cheeks warmed. Never having this sort of attention ever.
You felt his fingers trail down to your seeping hole, collecting some of the wet to spread around your lips. In the meantime he kept his thumb at your clit, rubbing the bundle of nerves slow enough to make you cry.
His lips moved to kiss the inside of your thigh as his thumbs pace in your clit increased. You lost your breath, feeling light headed. Pleasure built at the back of your skull, starting to spread all over your body. Your stomach tightened with need.
You felt your orgasm approaching, but Tyler never stopped, instead he sucked hickies into existing along your inner thigh. He didn’t stop when you let out a porn worthy moan, or when your hips started bucking. He didn’t stop when you came on his bed or when your thighs started to shake.
Instead he moved his mouth over to your pussy. His tongue trailing up your slit to your clit. He used his thumb to pull back your hood, sweeping his tongue over your bundle of nerves, making you scream.
His finger found your hole as his tongue danced over your clit, licking and sucking as he went. He felt you squeeze against his finger as he pushed it in. It made his already hard cock, sore with need.
Your moaning never stopped. His touch brought stars to your vision. It made your head go light with ecstasy. You weren’t sure you’d be able to string a sentence together you were riding such a high.
Slowly he worked your hole, adding another finger to the mix. With the dual stimulation your next orgasm followed his work quickly. You tried to catch your breath as he pulled away.
He moved to kiss you again. Staring into your eyes. Unknowingly, you’d awoken something in Tyler. Something animalistic, that wasn’t going to stop now until you were his. He’s kissed you, tasted you, fingered you.
Now he planned to complete the bond.
Now he planned to fuck you.
“Tyler, that was. That was wow.” Words failed you. Still lightheaded and riding your high.
“That’s just the start.”
He pulled his T-shirt off and went to shrug off his sweatpants.
“Tyler wait, I’m not sure.”
No, you couldn’t pull out now.
“When are you going to have this chance again?”
You played with your hands. You knew he was right. You just wondered if in a haste to enjoy an experience that you were never going to enjoy again, you’d rushed into things.
“Have you liked it so far?”
Of course you had. Nothing he did compared to anything you’d done before.
You nodded.
“Just sit back and relax. You can trust me”
No you couldn’t. But he didn’t need you to know that.
Now completely naked he wrapped a hand around himself, slowly pumping his already hard and throbbing cock.
You could only stare in terror. He was well endowed, if that was the was to describe it. He was at least six inches with a couple more to spare. You were surprised at how hard he was, but undoubtedly turned on.
He moved to kneel on the bed above you. Gently he moved your legs apart and helped you to bend them at the knees. When he was satisfied he pushed two fingers in you once again. Working your hole. Curling them every other thrust to try and get your tight little pussy to relax.
With the way you were squeezing his fingers, he wasn’t sure he was going to last long.
He leaned over to kiss your forehead, whispering sweet nothings as he lined up with your entrance. Slowly pushing himself in. He captured your moan with a kiss. Now rocking in gradually, inch by inch.
Your eyes welled with tears. The pain fresh and sharp, getting duller with his every thrust.
“You okay?”
You nodded. He took it as his signal to start rocking faster. Relishing in the way your walls squeezed his cock. Each thrust he was able to put more power behind, getting faster.
Soon he was at a steadier pace. Your mouth open as moans flew out. His breathe laboured as he continued his thrusts. His thrusts started to pound as your walls relaxed further. By the way you were moaning he could tell you were close to your next orgasm. Begging him for something you didn’t know.
Your pussy fluttered around him, causing any self preservation to leave him as he let his own load coat your walls. Thrusts became sloppy, then finally stopping as he pulled out of you.
He kissed your head once more before collapsing next to you.
A sense of clarity filled his head. The Hyde no longer pounding to get out. He was the Hyde. There was no two sides of him anymore. It was just him, Tyler. No just the Hyde or just him. Now they were one.
And it was all thanks to you.

୨ part 1 ୧
you were new to town yet the weathervane seemed familiar. surrounded by an all encompassing feeling of comfort - maybe it was the aroma of coffee in the air or the knowledge that the cafe resided in a tiny town on the outskirts of jericho. in your mind, it was nothing short of intimate.
but little did you know, while you were admiring the scene outside, the tall male behind the counter was admiring you.
for tyler, a light crush quickly turned darker.. his world tilted on it's axis when you floated in. midday, mindless and dazed. your head was buried in a copy of metamorphosis with dark locks framing your face, heels clicking together as you wandered over to the counter.
you scrunched your eyebrows together before turning the page. tyler smiled to himself as he found your expression adorable - ‘bookworm barbie’ the thought amused him, only to look up and find you squinting at the menu.
almond shaped eyes scanned the variety of drinks above tyler’s head through wispy lashes. your plump lips looked bitten and rosy while you lifted your dark cherry red nails to play with the soft curled hair framing your face perfectly. the male in front of you was more than mesmerised.
“our drink of the day is a peach green tea lemonade” tyler flashed a smile, unconsciously intent to hear your voice.
“huh? oh.. um i forgot my glasses haha..”, you sounded apologetic almost. your voice raspy and laced with femininity.
his eyes creeped down a little. he knew you weren’t here to be ogled but that lacy black bra - peeking under that low cut daisy dress of yours was making it hard for him.
examining your body lower, lewd thoughts ran berserk through his head. what if he ripped off that tiny dress with his rough pale hands, making a mess of you. he wanted to hear your enchanting voice call his name like a prayer as his fingers pumped in and out of you.
“sorry.. i’ll just grab a cookie.” to him, you didn’t dress nor look like the typical sheepish nymph. however your actions were good-natured despite your dark almost promiscuous demeanour. as if you didn’t want to be known as a good girl.
day by day, you came in more and more - tyler knew the coffee was better because he made sure it was. purchasing the best coffee grain in the area so his book obsessed doll would come back, and like fate you did.
little by little, tyler started obsessively fixating over you. small things such as remembering your favourite order turned into putting a mini tracker in your drink. now knowing you two live close turned into lurking outside your apartment after your classes.
as if it was for him, you always took a shower after class getting out with only a tiny towel covering around your dainty frame, you always forgot to close the curtains.
‘naive little bimbo, doesn’t even know i’m watching.’ your phone fell from your hands as you bent over, light pink panties exposed. unbeknownst to you tyler was in a trance, hands ghosting over his zipper knowing only the glass separating the pair of you.
the tall male felt himself getting harder, his cock now pushing against his jeans. he palmed himself, eyes attached to the scene - your towel rising as you walked around innocently; your soft thighs and ass jiggling as you moved.
now leaning against the tree, tyler's cock used the friction of his jeans against his hand. a string of whispered profanities left his lips, feeling pre-cum dripping down his length. his eyes started darkening, following beads of water dripping down your chest.
the sun was setting - his green orbs stuck looking at your towel slipping slightly when you sat on your couch, achingly close to exposing your tits. he let out one last deep groan his eyelids fluttered as he finished. lowly chuckling at the mess you caused in his jeans, not even knowing you were being watched.
bambi eyes glanced up at tyler, “can i get a mocha frappé today ty” you dragged the end of his name, your voice was almost tempting. he scrambled shyly trying to make the drink as best he could. however, tyler was distracted, knowing the pretty face behind him was going to leave after this drink was made.
just then, an idea crept into his brain.
“hey i’m not a stalker or anything but i know you’re new to town” he spoke, the sentiment almost comical to him.
“do you have a job yet y/n? we’re hiring here” gently handing you the drink, extra sweetness lacing his voice.
“haha don’t worry you’re not creepy ty! sure i’d love to work here!” tyler displayed a lovable grin. A part of him found it cute, how unconscious you were to his constant stalking and the other part of him wanted to yell in celebration.
his precious doll couldn't leave him now, you had to be with the perverted male everyday. tyler was giddy just thinking about the opportunities to touch, feel, be anywhere near you being infinite. if a heaven existed to him, it would be this.

————
Summary: After successfully relocating the Hyde, Your mother's pet, Laurel Gates (Professor Thornhill), in a nearby town, you had almost not much else to do except to help see to that Tyler Galpin adjusts to his new life and identity. Yet as time goes by, you realized you had a terrifying fondness for his company but that's just because you see him as a wounded stray animal you've adopted. Surely you could overcome this attachment. Maybe. Like mother like daughter. . .
_____
The rest of the first week living with Tyler felt distant and polite, you liked it that way, being able to keep a close eye on his few unusual movements (other than staying cooped up, reading books and whatnot in his assigned room) and overall health in the house.
You'd conclude that he's overall healthy from the three meals he'd eat daily, though mentally you can't say for certain.
There was no need for conversations whenever you crossed paths with him when there wasn't anything to talk about, so in a way you were technically on a short holiday. He was barely an annoyance, always keeping to himself, no complaints whatsoever, had respectable minimal eye-contact with you whenever there's a brief moment of passing between you and him. . .
How nice, like he instinctively knew his place to be submissive. One less problem to deal with.
Until one early morning in the living room, at 7am of your usual waking time, you were surprised to see breakfast for two laid out on the coffee table. Two cups of coffee accompanying their own full plates of steaming hot pancakes– admittedly it was a strange, welcoming sight.
"I- uh- wanted to surprise you."
You whipped around at the sudden voice and observed Tyler standing behind you awkwardly, wearing layers of clothes with big pockets that hid his dangling arms.
So, Galpin made the first move.
You shot a swift glance between him and the breakfast before easing a small smile out of your stiff lips. "consider me surprised, Galpin."
Huh, he usually wouldn't come out of his room at this time. . . (Which was why you chose this time to be busy in doing your other tasks and grocery shopping.) It got you thinking, suspecting him of wanting to gain something from you. Let's hear it first before throwing a dog a bone.
"I'm glad you're awake, uh the pancakes won't get soggy then." He says, tone genuinely relieved. Almost sounding like he was actually glad he didn't have to go up to your room to get you for breakfast. . . Or he was one incredible actor.
Either way, you weren't mad. It was more than interesting living with a former normie. You were glad in a way that he had settled down nicely but it did seem somewhat suspicious. He settled down way too fast- but you'd think you would be desperate to adapt if you were in his shoes and even overwhelmingly grateful to be given assistance.
"After you, Galpin." You gestured towards the food on the coffee table, a low grumbling in your empty stomach urging you to eat already. He quickly protested, "oh n-no, you go first. . ."
You raised an eyebrow, it only took a few more seconds of staring for him to zip up and hesitantly nodding in defeat. He went to take a seat at the coffee table and you followed suit, sitting across from him.
The steam of the rich creamy coffee hit your nostrils the moment you sat down and took a deep breath in. And even though there was barely any movement from infront of you, you carefully sipped the hot coffee. . . Just one drop. Wow.
"This is really good," you admitted outloud, looking into your mocha-coloured coffee, surprising yourself in the process. "I don't think I've had coffee taste this good in years."
A small whoosh of relief released from across you but when you flicked your gaze up, Tyler had already started grabbing his cutlery and wore a bigger smile while cutting through his pancakes. "Glad I have something to bring to the table. I guess working in café wasn't so bad," he finished his sentence by stuffing himself a large bite and chewing with intense urgency.
His attention zeroed in on his food once he saw you begining to eat yours.
Gosh, he must've been starving waiting for you to get out of your room. Not that you felt guilty but for a moment as you stared at him engoring himself with pancakes. . . Your heart sunk a little and pitied him. For only a moment, of course. . .
He made breakfast for you because he felt indebted to you. Simple enough for you to understand and not question.
No wonder he seemed the tiniest, slightest bit on edge around you the past few days and from the corner of your eyes- you'd occasionally catch him watching you subtly while you ate. Maybe he was worried of what you'd say to him.
Like a worried tenant trying to please their unpredictable landlord from kicking them out.
In the dead quiet other than steel clinking and the muffled beeping of cars outside, he must've sensed your blatant stare on him as he shifted in his seat and tried to smile casually. "I forgot to say this but good morning," he greeted, evergreen eyes boring into yours.
You slowly nodded, copying his friendly smile to a tee, "morning."
That was already a huge effort you never expected yourself to make, especially willing without any underlying intention. It's only been a few days since you've adopted– gave a place for him to stay. . . You couldn't possibly be growing an attachment to him.
It can't be possible, you reassured yourself mentally while finishing off the rest of the fluffy pancakes.
You were leaving soon in a week or two anyways, these interactions are temporary and won't even be remembered in a couple of months for you. Good.
"Galpin," you called when he was about to take away your empty place along with his, "thank you. Your pancakes were delicious, so was the coffee. You didn't have to do this."
He shrugged his back at you, putting down the empty dishes in the sink before he turnt on the faucet.
"I can't just sit back and not do anything. You've already done alot for me so. . . " He washed the cups through the running water. "I thought making breakfast for you would help you relax," Tyler said nonchalantly as he washed the rest of the dishes.
Huh, did you seem stressed to him?
A slow smile spread on your face when you looked around the tidy living room, arms crossed. "How nice, thank you, Galpin."
"I also took out the trash. Gotta pull my weight here, right." He chuckled lightly, trying to sound humorous while drying his hands with a hand towel by the kitchen counter.
As much as he's right, you initially prefered being alone in the mornings but without your dear plants near– Tyler soon became a good substitute for some company. . . You really need to take another long hot shower before you begin thinking again.
He stood idle across from you, tucking his hands in an oversized jacket your family member used to wear. (No doubt he found from the closet in his room) "So I guess this is uh, see you later?"
"Sure, see you. Galpin," you nodded, watching him back away and retreating up the stairs quietly with a short glance thrown behind his shoulder at you before disappearing.
Only when the clicking of his door closing echoed through the house were you finally able to fully relax and do the rest of your morning routine. . . .
After much housework and managing some of your mother's leftover papers (on subjects unknown to you), you recalled not having checked if the meat had gone bad, so you did.
Slowly opening the freezer of the fridge did not prepare you enough for the shocking sight of a cold white empty space. How did a dozen of plastic packaged red meat that you just recently ordered a few days ago, become completely gone in no time.
Obvious answer: Tyler Galpin.
You slowly closed the freezer and went to check the trash bin in the kitchen, only to see an empty bin. . . Ah right, Tyler did say he threw the trash away earlier.
The pots and pans are crisp and clean, but since you weren't always at this second house with Tyler– there were many time gaps where he could've cooked or fried the meat. Assuming he cooked it at all.
You rubbed your feet against the floor, sensing no grease nor oil on the smoothe clean surface. He must've found the mop somewhere and cleaned after his cooking. . .
What funny timing. Except that you don't remember reading anything about Hydes craving meat, but could you have misread? Impossible.
You needed some time to think about Tyler's abnormal cravings (and recalling the bloodied state he was in when you discovered him in the woods) he most likely is going through some kind of withdrawal.
Then again, you aren't a monster expert so you need to call someone who is.
So you reached behind you for your phone, secretly hidden in your back pocket but froze in place. Wait what were you thinking, (Name), this is so unnecessary. You've helped him enough, whatever else he goes through he should deal with it. Not you.
Your hand dropped from your back as you continued going about your day in endless amounts of work, peacefully. Or so you convinced yourself.
And for hours long you didn't see Tyler until he came down the stairs suddenly, all jittery and nervous smiles when noticing your stare on him from the couch.
"Afternoon, Galpin." You greeted before looking back down to your work laptop.
"Ye-yeah, good afternoon," he softly said, watching you for a couple of seconds before taking any action.
Him walking towards you in a casual saunter like he had something important to say, opening his mouth before closing it. You glanced up and blinked at him questioningly.
"Um- If it's at all possible. . . Could I talk to my dad? Or just send a letter, something to let him know I'm alive. . ." He asked pleading, heavy toned.
Staring intensely into yours was his forest green eyes shrouded by the shadows of his front curly hair. Eyes full of uncertainty and glimmering hope yet also prepared for the least favourable answer.
So you pulled the laptop closed while maintaining steely eye-contact and asked. "Galpin, Isn't it dangerous to be contacting your father during this time?"
By this time, you meant when the whole town's police force could potentially be on the hunt for him, an escaped murderer.
His eyes shone brighter after hearing you not say no. Tyler then confidently stood firmer, like an opportunist he took what he could get.
"Nothing's gonna happen if we're already out of Jericho," he said it matter-of-factly with a dead serious expression, "the cops don't search anyplace far. . ." Looks like his father must've told him something for his confident to skyrocket in this area.
"I'll see what I can do." You rose from your comfortable seat, "I won't guarantee anything except your safety, remember that, Galpin."
You smoothly maneuvered around a wide-eyed standing Tyler as he tried to speak as you headed up the stairs. Towards your bedroom.
Because somewhere deep inside your wardrobe was a cardboard box full of throwaway phones incase of emergencies. And this wasn't an emergency but a small favour that could lead to a potential disaster if one was careless.
Shaking these useless thoughts out of your head, you took one of the phones and hid the box again.
After going back down to the living room where Tyler was waiting for you, sitting on the couch this time- on the place where you last sat, you just stood Infront of him.
"Your hand, please."
Curious, he held his hand up to you. Only for you to put a black burner phone in it, his thumb accidentally brushing along the side of your hand as you do.
"Smash it or step on it, anything. Do what is necessary to destroy it after your call. Absolutely make sure you get rid of it, your future depends on it." You immediately returned your hand to your side, feeling a small tingle spreading- comfortably.
Too comfortably for your liking.
"Thanks, seriously. I- This means a lot to me," he stuttered, smiling widely, gratefully then stared at the burner phone in his hand in contemplation.
In that smile you almost lost yourself but snapped out of it quickly, he just has a nice smile, that's all.
For a split second it reminded you of your mother's many practiced smiles, generously wide with all her pearly white teeth on display to show how harmless she is. She taught you better than to trust smiley people.
Tyler stood up from the couch and peered into your eyes, breaking your train of thought completely. "I'll see you later then?" He asked softly, the burner phone gripped tightly in his palm.
"Maybe, I'm not sure of my schedule. Another time, Galpin." You shrugged then turned to leave before he could call you.
Now that you think about it, today's been a day full of interactions between Tyler and you. You weren't sure what to feel about it.
So off you went to your room, your mind battling itself the whole way up the stairs. . . As you laid on your bed, your brain alarmed you of what would happen if Tyler were to mess up any one thing.
A clue that'd give away his location. Any word mentioning you, a technical accomplice.
You didn't trust him enough to be helping him at all.
You'd be in big trouble. Worse trouble if the police got involved. . . Mother would find out about the. . . Escaped prisoner? Guest? Visitor? It didn't really matter what to call him except that his existence right now is a secret.
One of your few secrets that had a ticking bomb.
You grabbed your phone from underneath your pillow and dialled a number you hadn't expect yourself to call in months. . . And for the person to answer instantly with a gruffy laugh.
"Well well well, if it isn't the sweet consequence of my actions."
A somber smile lifted on your face at the older voice against your ear. Looks like Tyler won't be the only person calling his father today.
"I need some help."

you see a man standing in a wide-open field, as the sky above you darkened to a menacing shade of gray. the once-gentle breeze turns into a fierce, howling wind, and you feel a sense of unease settle in the pit of your stomach.
you were assigned to follow him and his crew around while they chased these monstrous tornadoes then went in and dissolved the threat. you worked for a huge journaling company from the north, but you grew up in arkansas and became familiar with these devastating weather patterns.
now, you were in oklahoma where you’d be joining this storm chaser during a week-long chase.
“you ready to chase some storms?” his back was still towards you, and his southern drawl was familiar.
as the man in the maroon shirt and white cowboy hat, spun on his heels to face you, you were taken aback.
tyler owens.
“y/n?”
his blood ran cold, not expecting to see you after all of these years. you laughed in disbelief, “this is crazy..” you shook your head and crossed your arms, shifting your weight to one leg.
“you’re the journalist?”
you and tyler go way back. the two of you were in school together, majoring in meteorology.he started chasing these storms, becoming famous on campus.
but, it all came to a head one day when you got trapped and lost your best friend. that’s when you dropped meteorology and took up journalism. you documented the destruction, the path, how they moved, etc.
and now, you were writing about who was called the tornado wrangler. you should’ve done your research but you didn’t want the assignment.
but, he had become so popular with his crew. they’d go inside the twisters and release a mixture to help dissolve the storm. and it worked.
“you’re the wrangler?” you ask, and tyler laughs. that signature laugh that always made you want to punch him in his pretty little face.
tyler turns around and rests his hands on his hips. “what do you see?”
the wind picks up even further, swirling around you in a dizzying dance, pulling at your clothes and hair. you sigh, taking a few steps closer till you are standing next to him.
“there” you point to the east, the air was thick with an unsettling hum as a dark mass loomed on the horizon. the skies darkened further, and a chilling gust of wind whipped up debris and sent trees bending at unnatural angles.
"another one" he murmured, eyes locked on the clouds as his adrenaline spiked and his lips pulled into a smile that he couldn't help but wear every time a storm was brewing.
glancing over at you he tried to hide the excitement in his chest that he felt when one appeared, but tyler knew hiding your feelings from another storm chaser was like trying to hide a tornado in an open field.
"how much do you wanna bet it'll touch down two miles east of our position" he teased, eyes scanning the clouds for clues.
“mm” you shake your head, even though you hadn’t done it in years you still had it. “three.” you continue, then point to the wind and how it carries against the wheat field.
“look at the way the wind is carrying. it’ll go east and hit north. perfect conditions,” you add crossing your arms
“i think you have yourself a ef5.”
uou had it. the intuition to tell where a storm was going to go by only looking at the clouds, the way the winds were blowing, and the speed at which the storm moved.
tyler had a similar gift, every storm chaser had it, but he had never met someone who could predict the size of a storm, which was a rarity he had never seen before.
“ah EF5, huh? i’ll hold you to that. If you’re wrong, you’re buying me a beer.”
tyler owens would be the death of you.
“i’m not buying you anything, owens.”
you load up into his truck, snapping pictures of forming a storm. he was flooring the red truck in a wheat field right towards the storm so he could get ahead of it.
“ya miss it?” he yells, over the thunder. occasionally turning his head to look at you. you say nothing, continuing to snap pictures.
“sometimes.” you blurt, not looking back at him. “i just don’t miss the destruction” you continue, rolling up the window and reviewing the photos.
“you were good,” he says, one hand on the steering wheel and eyes still taking glances at you. “mm” you just hum in response, not wanting to talk about your storm chasing days.
suddenly, a funnel begins to descend from the clouds, growing larger and more ominous by the second. the air around you crackles with anticipation, and you realize that you are witnessing the terrifying formation of a tornado. an EF5.
this was the second time you had ever seen an EF5 form in front of you, this was frightening.
you held onto your camera tightly as tyler drove right towards the black abyss. “shit..” you mumble quietly.
as the rain beat down on the windshield, the engine's roar could hardly be heard above the gathering storm.
tyler's truck sped through the wide-open fields, creating a trail of dirt and dust in their wake. with his eyes locked on the approaching storm, he clinched his teeth and gripped the steering wheel firmly like a man about to die.
he had chased tornadoes before, but never an EF5. the adrenaline in his veins was making his heart race and his senses heighten as he pushed the truck to drive faster, the roar of the wind and thunder in their ears.
“what a beauty” he muttered, admiring the sheer force and size of the storm in front of them.
as your heart pounded furiously in your chest, you felt a sudden tightening of the breath in your lungs.
your mind raced with panicked thoughts, each one more terrifying than the last. you fought to stay calm, but the fear was overwhelming, like a living entity trying to consume you whole.
sweat beaded on your forehead, and your hands trembled as you held the camera. the world around them seemed to blur and spin out of control, like the tornado in front of them.
"tyler, we should go back," you yelled. tyler smiled, eyes fixed on the whirling green giant in front of him.
he yells, "not a chance, l/n. look at it!" as he maneuvers through the difficult terrain. “we can’t give up now!”
“stop!” you proceeded to yell, flashes of that night you lost your best friend. the way the sky looked, how it sounded, the rain on your skin, how cold you were. it was all flashing in front of you, experiencing the whole thing again.
tears brim your eyes, your body shaking like a leaf. “please! just stop!” you yell over the growl of the thunder clapping.
tyler’s heart sank to his stomach as he heard the raw emotion in your voice. he had teased you and challenged uou, but now it was clear that this was not just another storm for you.
it was a personal struggle that was tearing you apart and he had triggered it with his arrogance.
without a word, he stomped on the brakes and brought the truck to a screeching halt, his own heart racing against his ribs.
"y/n, look at me," he said, voice suddenly hoarse and quiet.
you’re gasping for air, pulling at the collar of your crewneck. the cab of the truck felt like it was closing in on you, you unbuckled the seat belt and tried to unlock the door. “i can’t do this” your bottom lip begins to quiver. “i have to..i gotta get out of here.”
you can’t even bring yourself to look at him. your mind is fogged with the traumatic experience of the last time you were caught in the eye of a storm like this.
tyler’s heart dropped as he saw you struggling, your gasping breaths and trembling body. he reached over to her, gently grabbing your wrist, preventing you from opening the door of the truck.
“hey, hey, whoa. look at me, look at me, please.” he pleaded, his voice firm but surprisingly gentle.
he reached out and took your chin, gently turning your head to face him. his eyes searched yours for a moment before narrowing in concern.
“y/n, listen to me. you need to breathe, sweetheart.”
your breathless, unable to think straight until your eyes meet his sea green orbs. you take in a deep breath and mirror tyler’s breathing.
inhale, exhale.
you repeated this until you eventually calmed down.
your hands continue to tremble as you speak, “tyler, i cannot do this. i just can’t.” hour southern drawl escaping. “it’s too much”
tyler watched as your rapid breathing slowly began to match his own, your hand gripping his tightly. his heart ached as he saw the fear and the anguish in your eyes, and knew that this was not just a simple fear of storms.
it was a trauma, something deeply personal, that had left a permanent mark on your soul.
he gently raised his other hand to your face, gently stroking your cheek with his thumb, trying to soothe you. “i know, i know” he whispered, his own tone gentle and soft.
“ain’t nothin gonna happen to you, kay? i won’t let it.” he assures your worries, wiping away the stray tear that escaped your eyes then tucked some hair behind your ear.
“i’ve got you.” he continues. you watch as his attention goes from you to the tornado in front of you. “if you want me to take you back i need to know, now” he says, looking back at you.
you sniffle, following his gaze to the twister.
if he could stop something like this it would be a huge achievement to the community. no more damage, no more homelessness. it would all be fixed.
“no..” you begin, and find your eyes back on him. “i’ll be fine.”
tyler nods, putting the truck into drive. one hand on the steering wheel and the other reaching for yours, giving you a reassuring squeeze. “you’ll be fine, city girl.”
you choke out a laugh, and shake your head.
“then, let’s chase this beaut!” he yips and slams his foot on the gas and takes off towards the monster of a tower.
