Feats: Abyss Touched (Prerequisite: Strength or Dexterity, and Wisdom 13 or higher) & Abysswalker (Prerequisite: 4th level, Abysswalker feat)

Do I really have to explain the inspiration for these feats and new fighting style? I’ve always thought Artorias is such a cool-designed boss, both mechanically but thematically too, so I wanted to try and make something inspired by the original Abysswalker. Also, we have both Fey and Shadow touched feats, but not an Abyss one, so I thought it would be fitting to fill that gap. Hope you enjoy leaping through the battlefield and being marked by the Abyss.

𖥔 What’s this blog? I’m prone to procrastination, but I have so many projects and ideas I’ve been avoiding for a few years. I’d like to write games, write and illustrate my own comics, make better campaigns for my D&D party, and write some short stories/novels!

𖥔 Hobbies/Interests? Recently I’ve been really into BG3, but I like playing Skyrim, Resident Evil, and SoulsBorne games too! I’m currently replaying Fable, it’s very nostalgic for me. I like to read, my favorite author is Dostoevsky. I’m currently trying to read more fantasy rather than philosophy, as that’s that I’d like to write!

𖥔 Favorite animal? I love cats! I have 2 black cats. But I love squid, jellyfish and bears too!

𖥔 Favorite music? Some of my favorite bands are The Cure, Radiohead, and recently I’ve been listening to a lot of Daft Punk, Björk, and gulu gulu!

𖥔 Favorite movies? My favorite movies are both Bladerunner movies, Interstellar, Pan’s Labyrinth, Stalker, Coraline, and LOTR!

𖥔 Favorite books? Brothers Karamazov, The Vampire of Cuttleburn, and as of recently, The Poppy War! I just started Vinland Saga as well, and I like it a lot so far!

𖥔 Favorite comics? Paper Girls, Ultra Mega, Attack on Titan, and Bungo Stray Dogs. My favorite webcomic on webtoon right now is Nevermore and Deep Sea!

If there is one creation I couldn't not make after nearly completing creating all of Elden Ring in 5e. Then its Artorias. I don't know how much of Dark Souls I'll ultimately create in the future especially with the Elden Ring DLC on the horizon. But Artorias deserved a spot. Maybe a few others in Dark Souls too? BIG SPOILERS FOR SHADOW OF THE ERDTREE FINAL BOSS

Ok so my biggest DnD campaign that I'm currently playing Is a big ass crossover of almost every Soulsborne game, including Elden Ring (Sekiro and Demon Souls are not included) and basically my characters want to find Miquella.

I wrote this campaign sorta a month or so After Elden Ring came out so I had my whole thing about Miquella's Powers, what He does and stuff. It was hilarious to see how many things Miyazaki """"Stole"""" from my campaign as there were many many original things extremely similar that were new in the DLC, and this count - of course - for Miquella as well. Thankfully, what I had in mind for him Is much bigger than merely resurrecting Radahn so I Will be fine but It was so fun to see How I had the same Idea as Miyazaki (or He had It since I wrote It First? /J. Tbh I have no idea since when he/Martin were writing the story for the DLC) anyway I'm so excited to Surprise my players

A 5th Edition Soulsborne Campaign Module

What if Dark Souls was centered around sound instead of fire and light? And what if it was a Module compatible with Dungeons and Dragons 5e?

Nicole (our resident artist) is putting together a Dark Souls inspired 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons Campaign. She's created new mechanics and rules that really evoke the feel of a real Dark Souls game, including a death and numbing mechanic (similar to hollowing in Dark Souls).

All the NPCs are inspired by your favorite Dark Souls characters, like Solare of Astora, Patches, and the Firekeeper.

There are new character creation options for players, detailed items, and NPC questlines that the players can explore in addition to the main quest.

We plan on launching a Kickstarter Campaign to publish the module once it has been fleshed out a bit more and play tested. We are super excited to launch our first official module!

You have a +1 bonus to Attack and Damage Rolls made with this magic weapon.

Once per day you may stick the Restoc into the ground to cast Tiny Hut:

As a gentle orange glow emanates from the blade of the longsword, a 10-foot-radius immobile dome of force like drifting embers springs into existence around and above you and remains stationary for the duration. The spell ends if the user leaves its area, if the sword is pulled out of the ground, or after 8 hours.

Nine creatures of Medium size or smaller can fit inside the dome with you. The spell fails if its area includes a larger creature or more than nine creatures. Creatures and objects within the dome when you cast this spell can move through it freely. All other creatures and objects are barred from passing through it. Spells and other magical effects can't extend through the dome or be cast through it. The atmosphere inside the space is comfortably warm and dry, regardless of the weather outside.

The dome is transparent from inside and out, its surface indicated by floating ember-like sparks of harmless light, and the radius inside is lit as though by a small bonfire.

After months of slowly chipping away at this I FINALLY get to post it.

A couple years ago, as some of you might know, I started working on Mörk Själ, a soulslike hack of Mörk Borg, as a little passion project of mine. I've released a couple versions of it, but I've been working on a BIG update for a year or so, and it's finally here, and I finally decided I've done enough work to actually put a pricetag on it.

So... the full version of Mörk Sjal is here, boasting:

Fast character creation with randomly generated starting equipment

Simple but tactical combat rules.

Simple stamina management and equipment damage systems.

Instructions to convert creatures from Mörk Borg, B/X, and AD&D

Public domain art edited by me.

Aside from correcting a few typos and modifying mechanics from the previous version, this new release includes a ton of new content, namely:

Creature generator.

Weapon generator.

A pretty sick dungeon module.

The Black Salt Temple is a 100-ish room dungeon, heavily inspired in concept by the Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral here in Colombia.

In fact, all the pictures used are Creative Commons licensed photos of sections of the cathedral, heavily edited by me.

This new version of the game is $8 USD.

There is also a free version available, including all the rules and content of the old release. You just miss out on the new stuff.

I'm super proud of the work I did on this, even if it just started out as a little hack I made out of spite because I hated that the official Dark Souls RPG was built on the D&D 5e system. Hope y'all enjoy it.
