Definition: One who is gray- [attraction type] and is closer to being a- [attraction type] than allo- [attraction type]; being between gray- [attraction type] and a- [attraction type].

The graysexual and grayromantic flags are the same shades as the originals. For the atertiary flags, I used the gray shades from the original flags and the colored shades from @ryanyflags’s dark gray- flags (Sans the pink in the grayqueerplatonic flag and the orange in the graysensual flag, which I made closer to the shade of orange that I use for asen flags.)

Flags are all 3000x2000 pixels.

anyway, I think actually aroace grayapl who experiences social/intellectual attraction (sorta like platonic attraction but less about friendship/any relationship and more conversation) and some (rare) sensual attraction (sorta like sexual attraction, but not quite) might fit me best.

I used those for a bit before, but felt out of place in oriented aroace spaces because I'm romance repulsed, so wanting to blur the lines there isn't my thing, I also don't experience altrous attraction or queerplatonic attraction, and like the sort of infatuation I sometimes get the impression of there

so yeah

I don't really think I experience sexual attraction, but the whole sensual attraction thing makes that kinda blurry.

and not that important really, but I don't define hugs as a part of sensual attraction, it's a part of platonic attraction/friendships. nor do I count handholding as sensual, that's more PDA and romantic to me (aka I don't touch it (ba dum tch)).

contemplating going back to the label non-SAM aro.

or just "aro" without really saying non-sam or aroace or aroallo.

I keep doubting my asexuality. Idk if that's because I'm not asexual or because I don't want to admit that I'm asexual. or maybe it's just something else.

on the other hand I could try to seek out more asexual content.

it feels like everything asexual I see is either alloace (which - wow I've never related less) or it's like, puritanical, sex negative. or it's like oriented aroace. I am not looking for people to talk about their atetriary crushes when I look up my lack of crushes tbh. I don't get any type of crushes. I don't feel seen when I look up asexuality.

no hate to any of those asexuals obviously. I'm just not like them. I was looking for someone like me (and that's when CSH comes in with that "and I hate myself for it")
