Oshi no Ko x dark gathering crossover? Sign me up. Ai is an amazing addition to the cast and kind of acts like the audience if they were in this story. It’s cool to have someone who actually reacts like a normal person to all this craziness lol. She’s also really cute.

This isn’t just another simple exorcism as evidenced by the fact this mini arc is taking place over multiple episodes instead of just one. Yayoi and the group are going up against a literal god. Dunno how they’re going to pull this off.

That scene of the god eating the entrails was genuinely horrifying. This series is consistently unnerving and I love it.

Love how Eiko was on standby because of her stalking Keitaro lmao. There’s no way she would ever be sleep while Keitaro is out on a mission. She and Ai actually get along well too, looking forward to seeing more of their interactions.

It's being a long time without an anime list, this will be about mystery and paranormal not so well-known animes.

1.- Dead Mount Dead Play.

It's an isekai (surprise). The main character of a fantasy world reincarnates in another fantasy world, but it turns out there are other people from the first fantasy world. I liked it, ngl.

2.- Undead Girl Murder Farce.

It's a fantasy anime about japanese monsters and spirits. There is an inmortal girl who can't die that has been beheaded, but she's so smart her head can speak and can solve mysteries. I LOVED this anime.

3.- Dark Gathering.

A little girl had a car crash where her father dies and her mother has been kidnapped by a powerful spirit. She's gathering spirits to fight the one who kidnapped her mother. I liked that they loved to fear something. There will be another season, we have to wait.

4.- Mieruko-chan.

This will always be one of my favourite animes. A girl that can see the worst spirits and has to pretend that she can't see them. This is (for me) hilarious, she can see a nightmare near a coin and has to pretend that she didn't see anything, she has to act normal.

Well as they say be careful what you wish for. Eiko’s dream has always been to combine the supernatural and Keitaro. She finally got that wish today in the form of being possessed by a spirit and saved by Keitaro/starting a relationship 😂

That whole ordeal was extremely unsettling. The scene of Keitaro nearly drowning in the river was wild. Luckily Yayoi was able to stop the spirit. The doll exploding with blood going everywhere was also crazy.

This show constantly has such a feeling of existential dread and horror which is contrasted by the romantic subplot.

Speaking of the romantic subplot, the yandere won for once??? LETS GOOO lol. Wasn’t much competition in this one, but I’m really glad Eiko came out and confessed to Keitaro and now we got an official ship. Love myself a yandere and can’t wait to see how their adventures pan out now. Her smile is everything 😩

Well, I’ve been hoping for more horror anime this season since DGG ended, and this has been one I’ve been interested in, at least from seeing the PVs!

By the way, the first episode of Dark Gathering is so good because at first you think all the characters - save maybe Yayoi - are relatively normal until Eiko HAS to reveal that Keitarou actually likes the supernatural and fear, which at this point you're kinda like, "okay, both Keitarou and Eiko are kinda fucked up lol, but Yayoi just wants to see her mom, right?" Which is true, but then we get to see her Torture Room for Ghosts and realize all these people need a lot more help than you originally thought. Stellar first episode, no notes

dark gathering has become one of my fav mangas because it aint afraid to double kill ghosts in pretty gorey ways but

sometimes you just need a yandere and a bad friend to get this kinda excitement
