list your ocs and name one thing they want to hear, one thing they need to hear, and one thing they would dread to hear:
Thank you for the tag @syrcus <3
I’ll tag @unbridledartist @thereluctantinquisitor @catherea though no pressure, of course. Just if you feel like it :)
So here goes, with zero context!
Tessa Darius (Current D&D game): I have information about the storm / it’s okay if who you are changes / You’ve bent yourself to their ideals, and now you’re only hollow. There’s nothing good left within you.
Syrah Bates (Dragon age ttrpg): This pint in on me. Sit and relax, why don’t you? / It’s okay to share your past. People like it when you trust them / He’s dead because you failed to protect him.
Alras Lavellan (Dragon Age Inquisition): Your friends don’t hate you, you just need a nap / Just because someone has a problem, it doesn’t mean it’s your responsibility to solve it / You’re no use to anyone any more
Kian (Baldur’s gate 3): Why, you are rather good looking! / You are more than a vessel for his power / I think you might be in love

I don't know Anything about your dragon age ocs but oc asks are Good so like, do you have any non-Warden/Hawke/Inquisitor characters? What is the most you've ignored the game's canon backstory for your character? Tell me about a Friendship one of ur ocs has with a non-companion/adviser/family character? Have any of them ever punched someone outside of combat, and if so who? What's an in-game decision only one of ur ocs made? do any of them have kids? what about pets? who hates the chantry most?
Ooooh I like these lmao, I'll probably focus more on my Inquisitors than my others because I've had them for longer and have developed them more.
Warning: This is going to be...really long. Trust me.
1) "Do you have any non-Warden/Hawke/Inquisitor characters?"
No I don't think I do! Though it is an interesting concept I'm willing to play around with!
2) "What is the most you've ignored the game's canon backstory for a character?"
My Marian Hawke and Mihra Lavellan, definitely. They're about even I'd say. They're both ex-tranquils, their reasons for breaking out of their tranquility are very different though, I can go into further detail on another post/ask if you'd like??
3) "Tell me about a friendship one of your OCs has with a non-companion/advisor/family character?"
I don't think I have built any strong non-canon relationships, although Boithea and Varadis (two of my Lavellans) were twins who exist in separate universes?? (I know you said non family but hhhhah-). I like to pretend some of my characters are good friends with Harding or Maryden, or just a random OC in one of the areas every now and then. I also like to think that certain NPCs in Origins and 2 like certain characters but that's a lot of detail to go into I reckon?
4) "Have any of them ever punched someone out of combat, and if so, who?"
All non-canon (well, canon to me but didn't actually happen in the game due to...restraints...)
Inquisition: Boithea's punched Cullen at least once! (She had her reasons!) She also tries to punch Solas once or twice depending on canon (I've mentioned in a previous post that she has two canons that split off from eachother). Lokhultaar jokingly punched Bull jokingly but accidentally put a bit too much force behind it and left a bruise. Thora punched Blackwall after finding out his big old secret (then promptly apologized and forgave him). Varadis "I Love My Mother And My Culture" Lavellan has probably tried to hit Solas or thought very hard about hitting Sera.
2: Seran Hawke is a hothead and has most definitely punched a couple people or two who have pissed her off. Marian Hawke would NEVER (although, some part of her probably wants to occasionally). Yrin Hawke has probably gotten drunk and had a fist fight or two, or has probably gone all "fight me outside one v one fists only I'll break your frikkin teeth" if someone insults Isabela in front of her.
Origins: Neria Surana is more of a jokester who will try to diffuse the situation. Lyna Mahariel can and will fight you and she can and will win BUT she won't like, actively pursue the possibility of a fight. Newyn Tabris, however, is completely feral and will absolutely throw down at any given chance so she's probably definitely punched a face or two. Or three. Or more.
5) "What's an in-game decision only one of your OCs made?"
Aw hell I'm not sure, uh...Lokhultaar picked Templars because I wanted to see what it was like to side with them once, and also because it sorta suited her character I guess.
As for 2, I reckon the OC I'll have who doesn't instantly accept everything and try to help everyone to the best of her ability would have been Seran, which resulted in...a very lonely end game.
And Origins, I haven't played enough characters far enough through to answer this lol
6) "Do any of them have kids?"
Inquisition: hmmm...I don't think I have any straight couples other than Boithea/Solas...so no, I wouldn't say so.
2 - I like to think that Marian potentially has a child later on in life, after the events of everything. I'm thinking if it's a girl she'd name her Bethany or Leandra, and if it's a boy she'd name him Carver.
Origins - again, I haven't played much but...I'd like to think that maybe things settle down after the end with Lyna and Zevran and they maybe consider it. Neria wouldn't have a child with Alistair because she knows, that, well...y'know. And wouldn't want to subject a child to that. She knows what it's like to lose your parents at such a young age. And Newyn Tabris is gay.
7) " What about pets?"
All my Wardens and Hawke's have their Mabari's! They're all very devastated when they die from old age.
Darius Trevelyan had a cat and a horse at one point as a child, but I don't know if that counts.
8) "Who hates the Chantry most?"
Listen, we're all over here throwing steaming hot shit on it. I think Darius and Seran are the only ones who don't hate it. I'd say Boithea and Varadis hate it the most but secretly? Marian and Mihra harbour so much resentment towards it it's scary. Not that they'd show it.

hi, i love ur "bad dai world state" series and i wanted to know abt 16, 20 n 22 for that trevelyan!
aaaa thank you very much!! for ppl who haven’t read it, i have an ao3 series called “do not go gentle into that good night” where the setting is basically the worst dai world state i could think of. it’s been rly fun thinking about different consequences for different actions, and i’ve been writing more for it since i’m experiencing writer’s block for my other series, “seas who could sing so deep and strong.”
lady adaline of house trevelyan,,,,,, is an interesting gal hahahaaaaaa
16. what would the fear demon say to them in the fade to try and discourage them?
it would accuse her of being a false saint and how andraste never chose her to be the herald. i’d imagine the fear demon to say smth abt how the maker doesn’t exist and if he ever did, then he doesn’t give a shit abt adaline and her faith lol,,,, i think she would leave the fade with a slight loss of faith and then  tighten up to start doing chantry stuff with a greater zeal. (which is not great!!!!)
20. how do they react to learning abominations can retain their consciousness and identity and even live peacefully with their spirits/demons, as seen in stone-bear hold?
she straight-up doesn’t believe it at all and will deny it even when presented with evidence
22. if you have another inquisitor, how would those two get along, specifically?
oh, she would not get along with the lavellans at all. they’re pro-mage and she’s pro-templar / pro-chantry. she doesn’t even get along with her brother, henry trevelyan, because he’s an ex-templar who got disillusioned abt the entire templar order and is now pro-mage. she wouldn’t get along with the adaars either. esen’s a mage and her brother, kadir, is very protective of her. she might??? get along with the cadashes more?? but darius is frankly too drunk to care, and amira would think adaline has a stick up her ass.
i don’t think anyone gets along with adaline trevelyan though. she’s a bit.... cold. and very pro-templar / pro-chantry.

Ashes to the Waking Sea
This is the fourth installment of the campaign. Read Invisible Chains here.
A knock came at the party’s lodging early the next morning. Before anyone could answer, a creme envelope slides beneath the door, bearing a blue wax seal. Solange and Darius are the only two awake, and so they investigate; Solange recognizes her family’s crest imprinted upon the seal, and nervously opens it to reveal a letter in curling script:
Dearest Solange,
I know you have returned to Val Royeaux; how many years has it been since you last walked these streets? Your poor mother and father... but I get ahead of myself.
Shortly after your departure, your home was besieged by bandits. They could not have been ordinary thugs, however - these bandits, nor your parents, were ever seen or heard from again. I have tried to investigate myself, but it is simply too dangerous for a man of my age to venture through that house alone.
I beseech you, if you have any desire to bring honor back to this family name, enter Chateau de Vedel and discover what happened there.
                                                                                     Your uncle,
                                                                                     Comte Justien Vedel
After reading the note aloud, Solange looks to her companion, a mixture of hurt and confusion in her expression. Darius reluctantly agrees to assist her in searching her childhood home.
They walk together through the city until they reach the chateau, a grand townhouse on the outskirts of Val Royeaux, complete with a garden lawn. Passing through the front gates, the duo is alarmed to find an Avvar warrior decked in a horned helmet, furs, and a great axe loitering outside.
“Oi, Lowlanders,” the Avvar calls out as Solange and Darius approach. “Dhara sent me to find you. Said you could use some help.”
Darius feigns deep offense. “And who might you be? Rather far from the Frostbacks, aren’t we?”
“I am one of Stone-Bear Hold. Lavellan aided my clan once; I offered to join her efforts here in the Lowlands in return. You can call me Man-Cheetah.”
Solange and Darius exchange glances at the odd Legend-Mark, but say nothing of it. Instead, Solange extends her hand to Man-Cheetah, and the three approach the house together.
The entrance appears to be unlocked, as Solange tentatively takes the lead and pushes the front door open with a slow creak, an ominous sign that something is amiss. Inside the estate, the grand foyer is empty and dark. Dust covers the ground in a white blanket, undisturbed except for these newcomers. Darius and Man-Cheetah look to Solange for guidance; she leads them to the right, into her father’s office.
A large desk sits in the center of the room, holding a spilled inkwell and a single note. Darius motions his fingers as if to excuse himself from investigating further. Solange takes it into her hands, recognizing her father’s handwriting, and reads:
Aline and I have been holed up in this damn office for hours. I don’t know what these thugs want, and if I did, I would certainly just let them have it. As far as I know, they’re here to kill whatever they find and loot the rest. Aline hasn’t been the same since Solange left - I can’t abandon her now. So I’ll take the lock from the safe here and place it on the entrance to the ballroom. That way, our riches will be wide open. Maker, I hope that’s all they want. If I run fast enough, I can scatter the four keys necessary to unlock the lock while Aline makes a beeline for the ballroom, all before the thugs finish taking from our safe. I hope. Let these not be my last words... Andraste preserve us both.
Solange looks up from the note, noticing that her father’s safe is missing from the room. Her eyes dart around the office, clearly attempting to work out what could have happened.
The three then exit the room, Solange naturally taking the lead; they pass a staircase to the far left of the foyer before making a right, and another right, ending in a set of double doors. Darius leans in to inspect what looks to be a set of four locks arranged over the knobs.
“I could attempt to pick these, but we’d be here all day,” he says.
“Hm.” Man-Cheetah crosses his arms, regarding the hallway.
“My father’s note says there are four keys,” Solange replies. “We just need to find them. Come on.”
Solange leads them straight down the hallway into a door facing the ballroom. Inside, a long dining table and its matching, knocked-aside dining chairs sit in a sea of dust. All is quiet - except for a low grumble coming from deep within the room.
A corpse lunges out from behind the table, coming straight for the party. The room erupts in a frenzy of combat. Solange, in a fit of rage, exacts a lethal blow against the undead, her sword slicing through its rotted manhood and against its torso in one swift motion. Quickly enough, the corpse is dispatched. It doesn’t take long before Darius, ever the curious intruder, finds the group’s first key.
They move back toward the foyer and out into what appears to be a courtyard with a formal garden, searching the nearby flower beds and pots, long since dead. Before long, however, they are met by yet another emaciated enemy, a shadow of the former corpse. Solange is quick to act, arcing her sword below her and into the shade’s underside, instantly defeating it. After a short rest, Darius once again emerges successfully with a second key.
Back inside, the group moves up the stairs to the second floor. Solange leads them to the right until they reach a small storage room, looting the few items left in her ransacked home before moving on to the master bedroom.
Outside the doors, the three pause to listen. A low growl comes from within.
“Who’s going in?” Solange asks.
“If you go in, we’ll wait here.”
“Yes, I’ll wait outside.”
Solange alone enters her parents’ bedroom. At first. With the rush of two shades on the attack, Darius and Man-Cheetah eventually make their way inside and join the fight. Before long, their enemies are defeated, and they are left alone in the cavernous, elaborate room. Darius wanders off inexplicably toward Aline’s vanity while Solange bends to pick up a note left on the floor:
Marcus has lost it. The boys all think so. I dunno why he dragged us into this crazy noble’s house - I heard the daughter snapped and started keeping people’s heads in her closet. It creeps me out. But Marcus says that makes them perfect for this ritual thing, and he’s an apostate, so I guess he’d know. As far as I’m concerned, the sooner I’m outta here, the better.
“I found another one!” Darius exclaims, yet another key in hand.
The party then follows Solange out of the master bedroom and down the hall to her own bedroom. They listen again at the door, certain that they’ll hear the guttural sounds of the dead inside. Indeed, they do. This time, however, they agree to enter together.
An impossible four shades burst from the shadows, launching themselves at the heroes. Exhausted from their previous fights, the group looks haggard; Darius is brought to the brink of death again and again as Man-Cheetah and Solange take up the offensive. But before long, the party emerges victorious to find yet another journal page left on Solange’s bed. She reads:
I know Sebastien has told me not to go straight to the ballroom, but I couldn’t help myself. These may be my last moments, and I may never see my daughter again... how else can I say goodbye? She has disgraced the entire Vedel family with her abnormalities, but I still cannot help but remember her as the little girl who would whine if she had to be put into stockings, who demanded that her father teach her to be a chevalier just like him - I hear the bandits nearby. I think they have a mage among them, though I don’t know why they possibly would. It makes me more nervous than if they were simply thugs.
Solange puts down the note as the group finishes searching the room, at long last finding the last key needed to unlock the ballroom. After a quick detour onto a balcony for a few hidden items, the party makes their way down the stairs to the ground floor and back to the ballroom.
Darius enters each key one by one, until a mechanical churning sounds and the great double doors swing inward with a long creek. The group tentatively steps inside, weapons drawn in anticipation of a swarm of corpses. Strange markings cover the floor, and it appears as though a great blast erupted from its center.
Unaware of the danger, Darius walks directly onto the circle of markings, unleashing two greater demons from its center. Battle immediately breaks out as the demons attack the party. They are relentless - Man-Cheetah, despite his brute strength, is knocked unconscious in a pool of his own blood. Darius and Solange scramble to provide aid and keep him stable, fending for themselves all the while. Solange manages to wear the demons down, allowing Darius to finish them each off with an extravagant motion of his hands and a ridiculous exclamation.
Once defeated, the demons’ bodies shrivel to reveal Solange’s parents before disintegrating into ash. Solange falls heavily to her knees, her sword clanging to the floor in a sharp echo. Digging her fingers into the ash, tears begin to fall down her cheeks silently. A paste forms from the ashes where they rest.
“Mother,” she says. “Father. I won’t scatter your sorrow to the Waking Sea. I will always be with you. Plant your roots in me.” She runs a hand, fingers covered in chalky ash, slowly across her face, painting it white. “I won’t see you end in ashes. You are not demons.”
Darius and Man-Cheetah stand idly by, politely at a distance and too off-put to look directly at the display of sorrow. After a shuddering breath, Solange reaches her ashy hands towards them.
“Here, brothers.” Her fingers brush Man-Cheetah’s face; he stoically receives the gesture, and the ash mixes into his own Avaar paint. Darius makes to move out of the way, but Man-Cheetah, sensing the depth of symbolism, catches him with a fistful of ash to the face. It explodes against Darius’s cheek, a ghostly cloud.
As the strange ritual passes, and as the three adventurers finish rolling in the Vedel’s remains, they see a single emaciated corpse sitting at the edge of the ballroom with a grimoire in its lap, presumably the mage Marcus. Darius examines it, a worried look crossing over his face.
“This is a ritual to summon a very powerful figure,” he says. He turns slightly, rereading the page. “A god, even. He must have used your parents as a sacrifice. Clearly, it went horribly for him.”
“But why would they need my parents?” Solange asks, mostly to herself.
Man-Cheetah appears next to her holding a delicately crafted great-sword. “I found this among their things. You should carry it.”
“The Superior Sword of Vedel.” Solange held the cold metal against her palm in awe.
The three of them linger long enough to take anything remaining before taking their leave of Chateau de Vedel. For Solange, it very well may be the last time she’ll see her childhood home.

For the how your OC feels about mine, any of yours for any of mine? :)
Valencia Tabris on Kieran Tabris:
"Are we cousins? Or do we just have a kinship of coming from a shit hole and hating shems? Either way, it'd be a hell of a time fighting with you brother, we'd do some serious damage on some spawn."
Tumblr media
[FC: Seychelle Gabriel]
Darius Lavellan on Cassian Cousland:
"I grew up in an alienage, and I heard his name. Look, any human that actually cares about what goes on and what we go through is a good man in my book. Not to mention he's not bad looking... did I say that out loud?"

The Nightmare and My Inquisitors
Hey I had this idea so I'm doing it.
***
"Andaran atish'an, Ishalé. Were you hoping to see your mamae here? I could take you to her. You could finally trade places with her, the way it was meant to be. You know you deserved to die that night. You can correct it now."
***
"The little dragon. The cow-elf freak, never belonging anywhere. How they all stare at you when they think you're not looking. You can feel their eyes on you, waiting for you to make one mistake. You will make it, and they will turn on you."
***
"You chose a name that means freedom. You are not truly free, are you, Vallarevas? The chains still bind you. You submit to humanity as a champion of a god you refuse to believe in. How does it feel, to have new masters now?"
***
"Freya Trevelyan... or am I mistaking you for one of your sisters? But of course, you have all the power now. The mighty Herald of Andraste. Those sycophantic brats have nothing compared to you. Isn't that what you've always wanted?"
***
"Poor little Austra Cadash. Your humor cannot help you in my domain. How does it feel to be utterly powerless, like the insect you know you are? Is that why you hide behind your Qunari? Do you think he can protect you? I will destroy him just as easily as your father."
***
"Do you think he loves you, Darius? He is human, and Tevinter. He loves you no more than your "clan" did. Than your own mother did. You were useless to them, and you are still useless. You know it was a mistake to leave your hovel in the alienage. To have died in anonymity would have been the best you could have wished for. Now you will prove that you are nothing but that little boy, hiding from templars and begging for mercy."

Tell me about all of your OC’s babies?
Oh goodness I don’t think I can do ALL my ocs babies, even though I do basically have an idea for all of them and their babies, but I can most certainly do a few!
Warden Queen Eponine Cousland and King Alistair have a daughter and son- Elena, after Eleanor, and Duncan. Both of them were complete miracles, as they never expected they could have children with the taint. Duncan excels in diplomacy and is never seen without his nose in a book. Elena is a bit uncomfortable with noble life and all its rules, and often takes a mount to the outskirts of Denerim to feel the wind in her hair and get a bit of practice with her bow.
***
Azalea Hawke never really expected to have children, but upon discovering she was pregnant, she resolved to be the best mother she could possibly be. She was terrified to tell Fenris, who was in turn terrified at the prospect of being a father. Dahlia was born with rich brown eyes like her mother’s and a tuft of pure white hair, like her father’s. They both loved her immediately. Fenris even shed a few tears the first time he held his baby girl, swearing that he would protect her from anything the world could throw at their family. When Dahlia began to show signs of magic, Fenris wrestled with himself constantly. He couldn’t bear to see her go, not after what he had seen in Kirkwall. Azalea vowed to train her daughter just as Malcolm had trained her. They set to wandering Thedas as a family, never staying in one place too long but they were happy.
***
Many orphans called Skyhold their home after Haven. One in particular was a baby girl, an elf child with dark eyes and hair. No one knew who she belonged to, but as with many other orphans, they were taken care of communally by the pilgrims at Skyhold. Over the years, she became a small adventurer, constantly finding secret alcoves in the fortress and hiding around in the spots she found. But she became fascinated with the Inquisitor, Darius Lavellan. He was an elf, just like her, but revered by many. She began to notice his frequent trips to the library above the castle’s rotunda, and she would hide there to see him. Until she was discovered by a man with a very silly mustache, who showed her kindness and told her stories. He asked her name, and she replied, “I don’t have one.” She had not been given one as a babe and no one ever bothered to. Dorian told the Inquisitor about the little girl and introduced them. The girl clung to the Inquisitor immediately. Once Corypheus was dealt with, Darius and Dorian made arrangements for her, though both were hesitant to call her their child. The little girl eventually asked that she be given a name. Dorian thought for a long while and realized, her rebellious spirit and brave soul reminded him of someone special. She was known as Felicia from then on.

Watching The Road to El Dorado makes me realize how much I unconsciously based the relationship between Dorian and Darius on Tulio and Miguel

Inquisitor Asks: 6, 20, 36 and 46? :)
Crap I forgot to mention how many inquisitors I've got lol, it took me so long to write all this down ;;;;
From the Inquisitors Asks Meme:
6. Who did they romance and why?
Boithea Lavellan - She romanced Solas, she just felt this...connection to him. Although, she didn't appreciate how anti-Dalish he was, but I like to think they worked it out behind the scenes. Though uh, she has two separate canons that branch off from eachother at one point, one in which she dumps him and maybe tries with someone else (haven't finished it yet though so not sure).
Varadis Lavellan - No-one (yet at least, I haven't finished him, but I'm actually thinking of making him ace/arom).
Mihra Lavellan - ...listen okay I know I'm guilty of being a dumb dumb but Solas again- my reason being isn't attached to canon (she was tranquil, the mark sorta like broke her outta it, Solas was the only one who didn't define her being around her having been tranquil (actively to her knowledge at least)).
Lokhultaar Adaar - Sera, cause they're both absolutely FERAL and Disastor lesbians
Darius Travelyan - Listen, okay, I know, I'm a basic bitch and you can provably already tell who (Dorian, he's super gay, okay)
Thora Bergljot Cadesh - Josephine because Thora is based on me and I'm...heart eyes...for Josephine...
20. Do they trust Morrigan?
Boithea - hhhgh she's 50/50 on it. Not a fan of how Morrigan is so...obnoxious to her when it comes to *her own culture*.
Varadis - Oh he doesn't like her??? At all??? He's a mommas boy and he's so proud of his culture and to have this strange woman suddenly come along and talk down to him about it as if he doesn't know it at all??? Bad!!!
Mihra - she's...not sure, she's rational enough to understand that if she doesn't trust Morrigan then they may not make any progress, but at the same time...she's unsure.
Lokhultaar - Listen, she's gay. Okay kidding, she's a bit...iffy towards mages (with the whole Qunari mage thing), but she goes along with it, making the occasional funny quip here and there, as is expected.
Trevelyan - He'll take allies wherever he can get them. He wouldn't trust her with his life, but she doesn't need to know that.
Thora - Again, based on me, and I'm an idiot, so you KNOW I'd give her my entire trust straight up babey, so yeah she does. (Also because she??? Knows almost nothing about magic and stuff, due to being a dwarf, so.)
36. What was the most difficult choice that had to make?
Boithea - Drinking from the well of sorrows. She knew the implications of basically selling her soul into eternal servitude, however she also didn't trust Morrigan entirely with whatever powers it'd give.
Varadis - The next ruler of Orlais! He has no head for human, especially Orlesian, politics, and the entire time he knew that everything he did or didn't do could lead to a completely different outcome and everyone was riding on him to make the right choice it really stressed him out!!
Mihra - Whether or not to make Cole more real. She didn't want him to lose what he was, but she also wanted him to be safe.
Lokhultaar - She never really had trouble with any choices. Despite her f e r a l nature at heart, she was surprisingly straight to the point and knew exactly what she wanted to do and how she wanted to do it.
Travelyan - Whether or not to save the chargers. He was close with Bull, so obviously he didn't *want* to do it, but on the other hand...possible ties with the Qun?
Thora - Whether or not to banish the Grey Wardens. She was aware that if she did, and a blight happened again, they'd be basically defenseless, but at the same time, they were so easily corrupted...She ended up deciding to not exile them.
46. Which companion/advisor makes them think twice about their choices, if any?
Boithea - She tended to meet her problems with force at the start, but then reading Leliana's and Josephine's reviews of her actions and their suggestions kinda spun her around and started making her try to think harder about her choices.
Varadis - In most cases, he knew his intentions from the start and stuck to them, eventually his companions and advisors learnt that it was better to drop the subject then keep trying.
Mihra - She's always second- guessing herself, prior to the mark she hadn't made a decision for herself for a good few years, and isn't quite sure how to define what choice is the best one. She usually leaves it to her companions and her advisors to choose for her, however she does request they do try to take the most peaceful option, if there is one.
Lokhultaar - Straight forward, force is the only way to get people to listen- until Leliana explains that no, it isn't, and she starts taking input from her less up-front companions when facing a conundrum, but she'll usually still go with her original choice.
Trevelyan - Oh, he'll take advice, but he never really...thinks twice. Usually he's always thinking of the outcome that would be most beneficial to him and trying to figure out how he can reach it, and he'll usually take that path while trying to make it seem like he is taking everyone's advice to heart.
Thora - O H B O Y she uh...yeah...um...she's constantly taking input from everyone and trying to change her methods to suit them but??? It just makes her an absolutely muddled mess of nonsense??? Always doubting her choices and actions and being like "Okay but would [companion/advisor] approve if I did this-" instead of thinking about whether or not she wants to do it.
