Is there an unpopular arc that you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why? (if this is too much, just choose, what you want to answer ^_^)

NoTP-Alistair X Cullen, Cullen x Meredith and Fenris x Anders. They are all pretty common with the exception of maybe Cullen and Meredith. I have a lot to say about all 3 of these but I’ll leave it at NOPE, NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE and more NOPE on the way to Nopesville.

Have I received anon hate? Yes, about Silvhen’s cheeks, and her looks as well.

Also, anon hate  about how my Fenris and Zevran were whitewashed because my version of tan/not white wasn’t as dark as their version of tan/not white apparently.  My opinion on the Fenris/Zevran thing is…Zev is dark/semi dark tan, he speaks with an accent that is reminiscent of Spanish or Italian, therefore tan is tan, tan is not a mahogany, it’s not a coffee bean color, it’s not a a dirt color (totally not saying people are dirt or dirt color, I am trying to stay away from food analogies because apparently that is also offensive). Fenris, is slightly darker than most other elves, again making him tan. In this instance Tan is not meant to mean white with a suntan, but tan as in the skin color tan, like olive toned, as in Middle Eastern, Spanish (from Spain not Latinx) Italian, Greek, etc. 

Most disliked characters: Loghain, because, he’s a sneaky witch thief, ok he’s not a witch lol but he is sneaky, he was sneaky in The Stolen Throne. Loghain will do whatever he thinks is necessary for Fereldan even at the detriment of the people who live there. The bottom line is, Fereldan is land and people are people.  He’s well written in both the book and DAO but I still don’t like him. 

Also, I don’t like Anora because she and some fans believe, that simply because she’s of noble birth she has a right to the throne. To be fair, she’s no more noble than Alistair, her father was given his title just years before, that doesn’t make her noble, but it also doesn’t make her right for the job. She seems to be very self centered. She claims to want to do what’s best for Fereldan but it’s more like the same noble attitude about what’s best for her when there needs to be a choice as in the case of Alistair as King, or Loghain and the Ostagar battle.

In later games there isn’t really anyone I don’t like but Meredith and that’s because she’s delusional.

Unpopular arc? Uhhh I want to wipe Solas off the face of Thedas Lol. Everyone wants to redeem him but the bottom line is, he gave his orb to Corypheus, knowing it was powerful, even if he didn’t realize Corypheus could utilize the power. He killed Mythal (if you believe she’s actually dead, I do not) He stood by the Inquisition, saw what tearing down the veil can do and is still willing to do so at the cost of ALL the lives in Thedas, as far as we know, not even the elves will survive. He spent months with the Inquisition, so also knows the ins and outs of Thedas politics, he uses people (see The Masked Empire) while justifying his actions by trying to right a wrong that HE himself committed. So destroying the world as everyone alive currently in Thedas has known it is ok, because he wants his world back, that HE ruined. So he thinks 2 wrongs make a right.
