Cassie had wanted to do this boudoir photo session as a surprise private wedding present for her fiancé. What she hadn't counted on was how sexy and enticing her photographer Darian would be.
Darian was a tall blonde, at least 6'2", and gorgeous. She was wearing a clingy white mid-thigh length dress, and it was obvious she wasn't wearing a bra. She had a way when the camera was in her hands of maneuvering Cassie into many sexy, some almost lurid, positions.
When Darian suggested Cassie spread her legs and begin rubbing her pussy, Cassie basically couldn't say no. And so, she found herself willingly masturbating in front of this woman she hardly knew. And she found it turned her on no end.
"You are rocking this shoot, Cassie. Damn, that's sexy. Enjoying yourself?"
"Mmm, very much."
"Good. You know, we could maybe take some really private shots. Ones you don't need to share with your man. What do you think?"
Darian placed her camera on a nearby tripod and pushed a few buttons. She then reached down and pulled her dress off over her head. In addition to being braless, her beautiful bald mound was plainly on display. She smiled at Cassie.
"Your pussy is beautiful. Mind if I have a taste?"
Cassie couldn't talk, but felt herself nodding. Darian went to her knees and wrapped her arms around Cassie's legs.
"We're going to make some wonderful memories, just for us."
With that, Darian dove in. And with that, Cassie gave herself over to Darian totally. Whatever Darian wanted today, Darian was going to get. And if she called after the wedding, Cassie was sure she would respond. Just as she was responding to Darian's talented tongue right now. Here comes the fiancée.

CHAPTER I.
“Come on, Gaby, we’re gonna be late!” Louisa joyfully said from the living room.
“Coming!”
I didn’t know why Louisa was so excited: she hated those galas almost as much as I did. If I spent so much time getting ready, it wasn’t to pamper, it was because I’d really rather stay home than going out, and I was spending more time sighing in front of the mirror than actually doing my hair, my make-up and stuff. I finished my make-up – it was light, just a bit of powder, some mascara and lipstick – and once I was satisfied, I put back a lock of dark brown hair back behind my ear. If I must spend an awful night, I might as well look “nice” doing it. I left the small bathroom of the apartment Louisa and I had been sharing for over two years now, and I found her in the living room. She was wearing a long sequined green dress that highlighted her tan skin, and her dark brown, curly hair was put is a bun over her head. She really was gorgeous.
“You look amazing, Lou’.”
As for me I had a Bordeaux dress on, long as well, with thin sleeves. As for my hair I just put it on my shoulder and gave it some waves. I had no one to impress, and for once, I was happy with the result.
“Aw, you too. Your mom’s car should arrive soon, shouldn’t it?”
“Yes,” I answered, looking at my phone on which a new notification appeared. “Ah, it’s here, timing is perfect.”
We could trust my mother to make sure everything was perfectly prepared.
“Let’s go.”
We grabbed our handbags, and after putting heels that will probably give me blisters, we got down the apartment building, where the car my mother sent was waiting for us – she still thought I was a bad driver. The family’s chauffeur, Jerome, greeted us with a smile and a nod before opening the car’s door.
“Good evening, Jerome.”
“Good evening, ladies. Shall we?”
Louisa got in the car, and after checking no one saw us, I followed her.
“Come on, Gabrielle, nobody is outside at this hour.” she said rolling her eyes.
I wasn’t ashamed of my origins or anything in my life, but I hated the “rich kid” image the people in the neighborhood had put on me since we arrived here when I was eighteen years old. The neighborhood was calm and only rich people - let’s be honest - lived there, but with time I realized – and saw by the way they looked at me – that I was probably the richest person here. I wasn’t proud of it at all, and quite frankly, if I could change that, I would, without any hesitation. Louisa and I talked all the way to the gala, but I couldn’t help but admire Paris through the window. I was born here, I grew up there, and I had never lived anywhere else. I alsways to live outside the city but on the other hand I never got tired of this city. After thirty minutes, the car slowed down and stopped in front of a big building I got familiar with. Jerome opened the door and I thanked him.
“Thank you, Jerome.”
“Have a nice night, ladies.”
The photographers my mother had picked for tonight called for us, and we posed for them, Louisa without problems, me grudgingly. I never liked getting all the attention. I was aware of being privileged, but was wanting a normal life asking too much? I thanked them and took Louisa to the building’s entrance.
“Come on.”
The people in charge of welcoming the guests warmly greeted us, and we walked towards my mother, who was giving last minute directions. The big, golden room was perfect for this king of event. The left side of it was empty, and plenty of small white tables and a stage stood on the right.
“Hi, mom.”
“Oh, good evening, girls!” my mother said, kissing us both on the cheek.
She looked very beautiful, with a crème dress and her dark hair put in a perfectly done bun.
“Good evening, Mrs. Darian,” Louisa said polity.
“Louisa, dear, you look absolutely ravishing!”
“You as well. My parents sent their greetings, and they apologize for not being able to come.”
“It’s okay. You look beautiful, darling,” My mom said to me. “Did you go the hair salon I recommended you?”
“No, I was too busy with college and work.”
“I see.”
Her tone made it obvious she was still disappointed and annoyed. Her eyes turned all of a sudden behind me, and considering the way her eyes lighted up, I instantly guessed my brother just arrived.
“Noah, sweetheart! You look so handsome.”
Ma mother went to him, and Louisa gave me a compassionate look. Noah was three years older than me, and he was the definition of the prodigal son. My parents worshipped the ground he walked on, and never missed an opportunity to praise him in front of the guests. For example? Our father named him Vice-President of the family’s business when he was eighteen, while I've been working since I graduated high school as a corrector – I correct and sometimes write the articles we published on our website and the invitations for nights like this one – without never getting a promotion. I wasn’t complaining, I loved my job. But the whole concept seemed a bit unfair to me. Noah and I were extremely close as children, but that time was dead a long time ago. He was wearing a classic black suit which my mother immediately compliments; and was accompanied by a very beautiful blonde girl who had a short black dress on. This wasn’t my type of dress, but like they say, everyone’s got their own taste. I expected my very traditionalist mother to disapprove the dress with her eyes, buy she doesn't seem to be irritated by it, and shakes the girl’s hand instead. Damn it, if I was wearing that, she should have yelled at me, would have sent me back home to change it, and I would have heard about it for at least three years.
“Hum, is that the same girl from last time?” Louisa whispered.
“Nope.”
My brother was a ladies’ man, and I already knew he wouldn’t see the girl again after tonight. They walked in our direction, and I did my best not to sigh.
“Hey,” Noah says. “What’s up?”
“Like you care” I snapped, and I saw Louisa approve.
My brother didn’t answer, and awkwardly greeted Louisa. She had been one of his conquests over a year ago, and I knew she regretted it.
“This is Ornella, my girlfriend,” Noah went on, introducing the blonde girl.
She had large blue eyes and had less make-up on that the girls Noah usually brought at the galas.
“Nice to meet you both,” Ornella spoke with a shy but warm smile; “You both look amazing!”
“Oh, thanks, you t…”
“Alright, let’s go sit,” Noah interrupted, grabbing Ornella’s arm.
He took her to my mother, who was on the phone, and Ornella gave us an apologizing look.
“Well, she seems nice.” Louisa said, “More than the others at least.”
“True.”
My father then arrived, dressed in a beige suit and his hair perfectly made, and rapidly admired the decoration. He didn’t even seem to notice us until he walked past us.
“Hi, dad.”
“Oh, hi there, Gabrielle,” he said, almost uncomfortable to see me. “Good evening, miss.”
My father could remember names pretty well – except when it was my best friend or anything involving me. He knows Louisa’s parents very well too, therefore one could expect him to remember her, but nope.
“Your mom didn’t tell me you would be here,” he said to me.
I was sure she actually did tell him: he just forgot it.
“How is college going?” he asked, trying the make the conversation.
“Well.”
“Good, good…Well, if you will excuse me, the guests are about to arrive. Anita,” he called my mother, “the caterer called…”
A few minutes later, the guests indeed arrived. My mother called me to greet them, and Louisa decided to go to her seat. After ten minutes of shaking hands, repeating “Good evening”, and giving a fake smile to people that barely noticed me, I decided to go seat with Louisa, who now looked sad, her phone in her hand.
“Are you okay, Lou’?” I asked softly.
“It’s Quentin,” she sighed. “He sent me a message.”
Her and Quentin broke up a few months ago, and he had hurt her a lot. Louisa tried to hide it, but I could see very well that she was not still completely over him. It saddened me a lot to see her like that.
“Again? Just block him, girl. I told you he didn’t deserve you.”
“I know."
The guests started to assemble in small groups, and I grabbed two glasses of champagne when a waiter passed before us. I handed Louisa one, and she thanked me with a smile.
“Hey, don’t let that jerk ruin your fun. Plus, if we’re lucky,” I added with a more joyful tone, “no one will come and talk to us tonight.”
“You’re right. Tomorrow I’m blocking him.”
Honey, you’ve been saying that for three months. But I just nodded and took a sip of champagne.
“Very good idea.”
“What would I do without you, Gaby honey.”
“Not much.”
As I predicted, we were left alone for the whole appetizer, until my brother’s girlfriend for the night came closer to us with the same shy smile as earlier.
“Can I stay with you guys for a minute?” she asked.
“Sure.”
As we predicted, Ornella was really nice, and also very lifeful. A nurse, she loved her work a lot, but was also a part-time model. We chatted for a while, until my brother arrived – and ruined everything.
“Here you are.” He said to Ornella. “I hope my sister didn’t say any bullshit, considering how much of an idiot she is.”
“Stop it!” Ornella protested. “Gabrielle and Louisa are adorable.”
“Yeah, right.” My brother laughed, taking a sip of the alcohol in his glass.
“At least, I don’t sleep with every girl I un into just to leave them like crap the day after.” I answered, raising my shoulders. “Ask to be paid, you will at least bring money to the company, if nothing else.”
Louisa laughed.
“Shut you damn mouth, you little bitch.” Noah muttered as he was turning pale.
Drinking, I raised a finger, saying “I’m not done”.
“Tell me, how long have you two been seeing each other?”
“Three months,” Noah snapped coldly, and Ornella nodded.
“Really now? So why was it a brunette…What’s her name, again?”
“Margot, I think,” my best friend answered, backing me and acting like she was trying to remember the name.
“Yeah, Margot! So, Noah, if you’ve been seeing Ornella for three months, how come it was Margot that was with you at last month’s gala? And tell me, was it also her that you brought to the restaurant last week, paying the bill with the company’s bank account, or what is the girl from before that?” I asked, faking actually wondering.
Ornella, shocked, turned to Noah, and then spilled her glass on Noah’s face, her eyes watering. Usually, I only implied it, but Noah had decided to act like a jerk more than usual, and Ornella was way too good for him anyway.
“Thank you for telling me this, Gabrielle.” She told me. “Bye, asshole.”
She turned around and quickly walked to the door.
“Ornella, wait! She’s lying, I…Goddamn it, Gabrielle, if we were kids, I’d kick your freaking ass! Just wait until the night is over, and…”
He was so angry that he didn’t even finish his sentence. Not impressed like, at all, I smiled and raised my glass.
“Cheers, bitch.”
He gave me a cold look and left, probably to clean his face. Louisa almost cried laughing and put her hand on my arm.
“You’re a genius, Gaby!”
I knew Noah would go complain to our mother as soon as tomorrow and she would scold me, but I couldn’t care less. It’s not like she could actually ground me. The diner was then announced, and Louisa and I joined my parents at the table that was reserved for our family and some important guests.
“Gabrielle, have you seen your brother?” my mother asked me.
“Nope,” I said innocently.
Louisa and I exchanged a look and had a hard time not laughing. My brother didn’t reappear for the whole, thank God. We were lucky tonight, as the guests who were at our table were rather nice and were genuinely interested in us.
“And what courses are you young girls taking?” an old white haired old lady who was the CEO of a famous clothes brand.
“Psychology, ma’am.”
“English,” I answered.
“How wonderful. You have a truly charming daughter, you must be proud,” she said to my parents.
“Oh, but we are,” my mother assured. “Aren’t we, Xavier?”
“Yes, yes.” My father said a bit too quickly.
“Your parents too, miss,” the lady said to Louisa.
“Thank you, ma’am.”
The diner was delicious, because my mother had chosen one of Paris’ most famous caterers – as usual. Actually, this kind of night wasn’t so bad. After the dessert, my father takes the stage to pronounce a speech I barely listen to, and then the part that actually interested, the auction, started. If I hated the idea of galas, I loved the reason my family’s company organize them. The money got from the auction was always used for a cause that was dear to my heart: either sick little ones – it was the case tonight –, homeless people, research against cancer, etc. My family and their company’s reputation and fortune had been based on that for over twenty-five years. Tonight were sold masterpieces made by famous painters, objects that were centuries old were sold, and all of it more than two hundred thousand Euros. Plus, with the envelope filled by the rich guests’ generosity, we could add over three thousand Euros to that. I was thrilled, and I couldn’t wait until the little ones got the money.
I finished the night with Louisa and the lady, who reminded of my gran living in Nice, in the South of France. When the guests started to leave, Louisa and I agreed with a simple glance that it was time to go home for us too. She had classes tomorrow, and I was working.
“Mom, we’re leaving,” I said to my mother, who was biding guests good night.
“Already?” she was surprised. “Well, I guess that’s wise since you both must get up early tomorrow. Good night, girls."
“Goodbye, Mrs. Darian."
“Say hello to your parents, Louisa. And to your sister as well, of course.”
“I will.”
My mother kissed me on the cheek, and since I didn’t know where my father was, I didn’t have anyone to say goodbye to. Louisa and I headed for the entrance, our hands joined. Jerome was waiting for us and opened the car’s door.
“Did you ladies have a good night?”
“Yes, thank you Jerome. I hope you weren’t too bored.”
“Absolutely not, Miss Gabrielle” he assured with a smile.
Louisa yawned during the whole travel, and as for me I was starting to feel tired too.
"Ah, home sweet home,” I sighed while taking my heels off.
I winced when feeling, as I predicted, that I had blisters, and then Louisa asked to go change first.
“Sure, go ahead.”
I sat on the sofa, and then waited while being on my phone. Louisa came back after a few minutes, ready to go to bed.
“Alright, I’m gonna go night-night. Good night, hun.”
“Good night, Lou’”
She blew me a kiss and went to her room. As for me I went to the bathroom, and quickly prepared to say hello to Morpheus.

The Revival - Day Four, Part One
welcome back to this event in daisy lore ! we’re going to pretend like this isn’t like a whole week late and also pretend that i’m not sick while writing this LMAO so if there’s spelling mistakes or anything please ignore them :D so mushroom pot won the majority vote with fourteen votes, followed by under the chair with ten and then on the sofa with seven votes ! not a single option got under six which made it super close omg
warnings: dereality, angst, mentions of blood + alcohol
“There’s something on the sofa.” Daisy’s eyes brighten. Can it really be that easy? “We’ll start there, and work around the room.”
Making her way over to it, her curiosity only deepens when she sees one of her uncle’s poker chips lying innocently on the sofa, stained with dried red. Picking it up brings back fond memories from when she’d been younger, nestled with Helga and James and trying their best to understand exactly what Quackity had been eagerly telling them.
(”The most important thing in poker is the show you put up,” Quackity had said, sliding them each a poker chip across the table, ignoring Karl’s alarmed Helga, no, when she instantly tried to eat it, “you have next to no chance of winning if you don’t lie and pretend. You guys are good at playing pretend, right?”
“We all are,” a slightly tipsy Sapnap had murmured, resting his head tiredly on George’s, and Daisy hadn’t paid it much attention at the time, “we’re all getting good at playing pretend.”
“I think they’re too young for poker,” George had told Quackity, ignoring his best friend’s words, “Quackity, they’re not getting it.”
“No, no, look, it’s- they’ll get it!” Quackity had insisted. “They’re smart kids. They’re gonna get it - it’s only a matter of time.”)
The memory disintegrates in her mind like sandpaper, and leaves Daisy standing beside Darian, clutching the poker chip and staring at it like it’s red hot.
We’re all getting good at play pretend.
What had her Uncle meant?
They’re gonna get it. It’s only a matter of time.
“Isn’t that Uncle Q’s?” Darian frowns. “What’s it doing here?”
“Well,” Daisy says, uneasy, “we still don’t know how he had the revive book. It might have something to do with that. I dunno. Or maybe it’s trying to tell me something.
LIVES REMAIN NEUTRAL.
“Well, look what I found from under the chair!” Darian hands her a photograph, which Daisy doesn’t recognise at all. “Isn’t that you an’ your dad and Dream?”
Daisy stares. It is, obviously, she recognises all of them well - but this photo doesn’t exist in her world. Can’t exist, because as far as she knows, her dad doesn’t know Dream too well, and certainly had never taken a photo with him and her like this. In the photo, she’s being swung up into the air by Dream, whose face is a picture of joy and laughter, while George laughs beside him, looking mock-despairing. Just out of frame, she can see Uncle Sam grinning at Dream and Daisy, eyes sparkling with warmth.
And she’s laughing. She’s so, so happy.
For a second, Daisy can only hold the photo, eyes dampening, unable to find the words she wants. This is everything her life could’ve been. Dream... Dream isn’t her dad, but he looks so happy with her in this reality, so content, that for a long, long second, Daisy wishes he had been alongside George. She wants this to be her reality, more than anything.
When she turns over the photo, all it says, in George’s distinct handwriting, is Dream makes an alright father (Daisy, 2). There’s a smiley face drawn next to the words, and Daisy’s chest aches.
YOU GAINED A LIFE!
LIVES REMAINING: THREE.
“You guys look really happy,” Darian offers quietly, and when Daisy tears her eyes away, sniffing once, he’s looking at her, surprisingly softly. Sometimes she forgets he can be sensitive. “Are you okay?”
Daisy stays quiet, wiping at her eyes with the cuff of her sleeve. She doesn’t quite have an answer to that. How does she tell Darian that more than anything, she wishes this could be her reality?
“I hate people crying,” Wilbur says, sounding rather uncomfortable, “I never know what to do. And also I made people cry a lot. It was sort of my talent. Can we keep moving?”
Darian scowls. “I’m going to kick you.”
“You wouldn’t kick an innocent little cat.”
“I would, Wil. You know I would kick you.”
But it’s the distraction Daisy needs. Tucking the photo very delicately into her pocket alongside the poker chip, she wipes her eyes discreetly and looks around the room. Her eyes fall on one thing.
The mushroom pot at the end of the windowledge.
Tuning out Darian and Wilbur’s bickering, Daisy makes her way towards it, eyeing it cautiously. It’s weirdly out of place in the otherwise too-bright gaudy room, and the mushrooms match the ones in her hair and in the real world. When she touches it, she gasps - it’s the first real feeling thing she’s felt in this strange world, and when she lifts it up and spots a strange wooden button, it looks so real too.
“Careful!” Daisy pulls back at Wilbur jumping onto her shoulder, eyeing her oddly. “If you press that button, I can’t intervene. If you press that button, Daisy, it will just be you and Darian. I won’t interfere with this section of the Void. Not if I can help it.”
Daisy hesitates. Something deep inside her is telling her to press the button. And yet, if she does, she’ll be without Wilbur’s help.
Is she strong enough to do this on her own? Does she even want to?
“It’s up to you, Daisy,” Darian says, crossing his arms, “it’s your call. Will we press it?”
PRESS THE BUTTON (1)
DO NOT PRESS THE BUTTON (2)
(fifteen minutes to decide!)

Full Name: Darian Raymond Lewis
Age: 25
Birthday: September 6th
Ethnicity: African-American
Occupation: Getting Psy. D for Criminal Psychology; in the meantime, selling his photographs and working at a coffee shop on campus
Traits: Brave, Charismatic, Good Sense of Humor, Virtuoso, and Photographer’s Eye
Bio: Son of a politician and concert pianist – born and raised in D.C., with a weird childhood. I always felt like I struggled to fit in where my mom put me – for example, I was the only kid in the private school system who had public school friends. She was determined to keep me from ruining her reputation, while my dad was around the world for concerts all the time. Our shared love of music was the only way I felt connected to him as I got older. But hey, life’s kicked everyone around and I’m no exception. I’m just looking for the right girl who’ll get me and my baggage who I can build a future with.

Scavenger Hunt Reflection
It can be challenging to define each term, however through our readings and discussion we have a rough idea of what each term means and represents. Rhetoric is the art of persuasion, utilizing emotion and passion to effectively get a point across. Rhetoric is everywhere, similarly to rhetorical situation which is the situation which serves as context for rhetoric. Context is everything surrounding the rhetoric, audience, and the various constraints. Speaking of constraints, they are things prohibit writers from writing, and therefore limit rhetoric from being spread. An example of this could be MLK. He experienced many constraints, from being jailed to having racist laws imposed against him. Amazingly, he was still able to put rhetoric in action and incite change throughout a segregated country. Another important term is genre, which is the various mediums and categories used in writing and rhetoric. When utilizing rhetoric, it is important to keep your audience in mind, as they are your potential supporters. This is why it is critical for effective rhetoric to be tailored to the intended audience. The feedback loop from hell is basically thoughts about thoughts. An example of this is seen in our snowball fight video, where Quinn throws a snowball at Ben and accidently hurts him causing Quinn to experience guilt which ultimately results in him being angry for feeling guilty.
(Quinn 1) “I think this activity is useful because it makes us think about real life situations and examples of rhetoric and the key terms. Having this understanding will make it easier to apply them to our writing.”
(Quinn 2) “My definition of good writing and argumentation hasn’t changed much. I still think it is the result of practice and proper utilization of the terms we have learned about in class.”
Ben #1 This scavenger hunt was useful in better understanding the key terms of rhetoric because it requires you to actively and cognizantly incorporate rhetoric into your life. It can be hard to understand terms like “context” and “rhetorical situation” from simply reading about them, so to act them out gives students a better opportunity of really grasping the concepts. In addition, many students are visual learners, and the photos and videos we produced could help others, and ourselves, to “see” what rhetoric is and analyze how it applies to writing. This activity also helps you learn about yourself as a writer because it makes you think about rhetoric within your life, but also within your writing. Rhetoric plays a role in all writing, so by practicing your skills as a rhetorician, you are also helping yourself learn as a writer. Not to mention, this activity requires a great deal of creativity, which is also a crucial element of good writing.
Ben #2 My definition of good writing is always expanding as I change as a writer, but also as a person. My writing tends to be reflective, and I feel that as I change as a person and experience new aspects of life, my writing will also grow and transform. This class has helped my writing in many different ways, but particularly when I am trying to write persuasively. I now focus more on audience and try and formulate a certain argument based on who I am trying to appeal to. My definition of good writing is pretty consistent, and does not include any of the terms from the scavenger hunt. To me, the most important terms are terms like “creativity” and “thoughtfulness”. While rhetoric certainly fits into good writing, I don’t think it’s the most important part of good writing. My writing has certainly improved in my other classes as I’ve learned more about rhetoric and rhetorical situation. Writing is a crucial skill regardless of what career path you go down. As someone who wants to go into Urban Design & Planning, I will have to consistently pitch projects and ideas to potential clients.
Darian 1: When we were first assigned the scavenger hunt I wasn’t expecting much. But in the midst of trying to photograph all our key terms I found it to be quite helpful. Being able to give real life examples to some of the complex concepts that we have been studying made them a lot more understandable. We were able to visualize the terms in action. And even though we have talked about rhetoric and rhetorical situations being all around us it was way different walking around and being able to see all the possibilities there actually was. As I writer I think I benefited the most from the cooperation that this exercise required.  It was interesting being able to see all the different interpretations people had of the concepts. We all had such different ideas of how to demonstrate the key terms but not anyone one of us was wrong. As a writer it made me realize the limitations I had put on myself and my writing, by not looking at the picture as a whole.
Darian 2: My ideas of argumentation and writing expand everyday because of this class. Since the beginning the class changed the way I viewed the writing process. As many of us have said before, I have always thought of writing and argumentation in the academic sense. I never really understood it outside that field. But now I am able to connect rhetoric to real life examples. I am able to see the rhetoric in our day to day lives. And that made it more valuable to me. Since I am majoring in International Studies, argumentation and writing are very important. Rhetoric is one of the most important outlets for us to understand the world around us. And argumentation is important in being able to understand other people's views of the world and the reasons as to why they believe that. But thinking more broadly, argumentation and writing will help me in every aspect of my academic career because it is all around us.
Alex 1: Throughout the treasure hunt we started to better understand rhetoric and we were able to see it through real life in many different situations. If I’m being honest, I wasn’t really expecting it to be a very fun activity I saw it more as a chore. But throughout the hunt our team was able to spot rhetoric where we wouldn’t have expected it and were able to recognize it in new and different ways. As a writer I think it is important to understand that rhetoric works in so many different ways and I think that is often easy to forget.
Alex 2: I think in life everyone has a goal or a dream, whether it is to be an athlete, artist, business person, musician, actor, etc. In every dream you have a purpose or something to sell, something you want people to believe in. I think one thing I’ve learned most from this class is that there is no limit on writing and absolutely no limit on rhetoric. These are used in everyday life in the real world and they are used in many different ways. There is audiences everywhere, in every class, every meeting, every performance and where there is an audience there is a rhetor. Everybody is a rhetor and I think that is the most important thing that we can learn in this class is that everything you do has an impact.

Ask Responses - Part I
I’ve received so many questions through Ask overnight, that I thought it would be best to compile my responses into a couple of big posts to save space and keep things neat. Thank you for sending in all of your questions, guys!
Part II
Tumblr media
Your previous comment about Elya Sevenard, is she elya_7ard on instagram? I thought she was still a student judging from her posts but you also mentioned she graduated, or do they have separate graduations for each school?
Yes, that’s her. And, yes, she’s still at VBA. Sorry, I should’ve realised that my response was confusing. There are three levels to VBA, which can roughly break into:
Elementary School: Grade 1 - Grade 3
Middle School: Grade 4 - Grade 5
High School School: Grade 6 - Grade 7, more commonly referred to al Level I - Level II.
Uni / Higher Education: Bachelors Degree, Level I - III
Graduates receive their formal ballet dancer qualification after completing Grade 7 / Level II. After this, they may choose to join a company or continue their education with VBA and get a higher degree. They don’t have to complete all III levels either. Or they may choose to combine their education with work. For example: a few years ago, Diana Vishneva earned a Masters Degree from VBA, while still being a very active professional ballerina.
What I’m trying to say here (in a very roundabout way) is that Elya and her classmates have already received they professional qualifications, but they chose to continue studying.
I think I saw you mention the VBA academic curriculum before, but just wondering if a student gets expelled, can they easily go back to normal school academic wise?
They can. As long as their grades aren’t too bad. The academic education VBA provides isn’t exactly stellar... After all, it’s not their priority. By all accounts, a forced transition form a ballet academy to normal school / life is never easy. A lot of the kids require therapy.
Can students get kicked out of VBA if they have really poor academic scores but are very good dancers?
No. At least I don’t think so. The academic and the dance programs are two separate things. VBA is a government-funded academy, so they have to provide academic education, so the students can get their highschool diplomas, but it’s not their priority.
FUN FACT: Back in the olden days, poor academic score could prevent a graduate, no matter how brilliant, from entering a major company like the Bolshoi or the Mariinsky. Ekaterina Maximova failed History, so she couldn’t be offered a spot at the Bolshoi. That is until BBAs rector and a group of coaches went over to the History teachers and insisted that he turn Maximova’s “F” into something more respectable. Can you imagine if Ekaterina Maximova never went to the Bolshoi because of a failed highschool exam?...
Tumblr media
So just wondering, would you ever fangirl/boy if you met your favourite dancers? xD
I don’t think I’d go into a frenzy over anyone. Last time I asked someone for an autograph, I was 12. It was a tennis player (I was super into tennis). Since then - and I’m sorry to say that was a very, very long time ago - I haven’t had the urge to ask anyone for an autograph or a photo. As far as ballet dancers are concerned, I’ve always felt that seeing them live on stage was enough for me. I’ve never felt the need to approach them afterwards.
The only exception was Marcelo Gomes. A couple of years ago, I watched him dance and waited for him at the stage door afterwards (and then had to chase after him because he’s fast and cunning). I had a very good reason though. A few days after his performance, Marcelo was due to fly to Tokyo to join Matthew Bourne’s company on tour. He was debuting in the role of the Swan in Bourne’s “Swan Lake”. That’s one of my favourite danseurs taking on my favourite role in my favourite ballet... I simply had to wish him good luck and tell him that he was perfect for the role. He got a little embarrassed but was grateful. He is a very sweet man.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In what year do students start duet classes?
6th grade (Level I). Which seems weirdly late, but there you have it...
Hello, I've noticed some VBA students have been photographed by different photographers in shoots of a commercial nature. Who are these photographers and is VBA OK with their students participating in these?
This is a great question. I’ve wondered about it myself. Most students book shoots simply to build their portfolio and to better present themselves online. Others make money off of it, while other even have side careers as fashion models (Kirill Sokolovsky has appeared in Vogue and walked at fashion weeks).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There are a number of well-known and respectable St. Petersburg-based ballet photographers, who I’m certain VBA would have no problem with (Darian Volkova is a great example). As long as the end result is appropriate and the good name of VBA isn’t sullied, the academy wouldn’t mind.
Though drama does happen. Last year, a VBA student took part in a semi-erotic shoot, conducted by a photographer of ill repute. She got into a lot of trouble.

I don't remember how good Darian Jenkins (like I've never seen her play but there's a good chance I've seen her in old USYNT highlight videos) but she must be really good. I've seen a lot of praise for her and I feel like she's very talented so I can't wait to see her play. Since she was just photographed with an NC Courage jersey, I'm hoping that means she will finally play soon!

August 2017 reviews Roundup
Tumblr media
The first day of the month began with a Tuesday afternoon performance of David Williams' 'Gangsta Granny'. From page to stage, we'd already seen the production at the New Victoria Theatre in Woking where it had stopped on its tour last year. With only the slightest change in casting, now at London's Garrick Theatre (where we'd previously seen ‘The Miser’), it lacked some of the comedic fun during the interludes from before but had gained in many other ways too - as best it could in a theatre interrupted by the busy tube underpass. Having just finished his A Levels, Ashley Cousins came straight from playing Teddy Dunderdale in the BBC2 Danny Baker story ‘Craddle To The Grave’ to take on the hilarious lead role of ‘Ben’. Benedict Martin’s performances in ‘Gangsta Granny’ as ‘Dad’ and the nosey ‘Mr Parker’ proved why he’s been in work up and down the country in some of the finest roles. Playwright and children’s TV (‘My Parents Are Aliens’) regular, who also played a weasel in ‘The Wind in the Willows’ film alongside the Monty Python team, Richard James, added the straight dynamic as the Teacher and Policeman with occasional silliness for amusement. From the production team of the ‘Horrible’ (Horrible Histories etc) franchise, ‘Gangsta Granny’ will make you cry with laughter and sadness, before leaving you baffled upon conclusion.

That same evening, we, once again, were to witness Brian Wilson performing The Beach Boys' classic 'Pet Sounds' in its entirety. A wonderful show we had previously witnessed (and photographed [by Tasha]) at the Royal Albert Hall. Even walking in, tonight didn't seem as special, being in the Hammersmith Apollo, where he last played in 2002. Complete with a big band that featured fellow original Beach Boy, Al Jardine, the 74 year old opened with ‘California Girls’ as part of an 18 song Beach Boys’ ‘best of’ set before returning, post interval, to perform all 13 tracks from ‘Pet Sounds’ in order. It was during this album’s period, of what is now regarded as one of the best LPs of all time, that his deteriorating mental health and multiple nervous breakdowns led him to leave The Beach Boys (who played the Royal Albert Hall earlier in the year), which would have made it hard to believe he could still be performing 5 decades on.
Brian only ever returned once to his former band; for their 50th anniversary, which was sadly without his late younger Beach Boys brothers - with Dennis dying in a drunken diving accident in ‘83 and ‘God Only Knows’ vocalist, Carl, passing away from lung cancer in ’98, within two months of their mother’s death. Dennis, who went through a friend fascination phase with Charles Manson, covered his song “Never Learn Not To Love (Cease To Exist)” with the Beach Boys, but that was left out of the set tonight. However, ‘God Only Knows’ got a standing ovation after Al Jardine agreed with Paul McCartney’s previous statement of it being “the most beautiful song of all time”.
Joined on certain songs by early ‘70s Beach Boys member, Blondie Chaplin, who also played with the Rolling Stones between ’97 and 2007, this showman, along with Al, Matt Jardine, Darian Sahanaja, Scott Bennett and Brian all sharing lead vocal duties, the only non Beach Boys song performed in tonight’s 37 song marathon was The Regents’ tribute ‘Barbara Ann’ in the encore, before closing with ‘Love and Mercy’ - the opening track from his 1988 debut solo self titled album. Having been tended to for a massage earlier in the set, to prevent seizing up, it’s something the audience failed to do themselves, with the emotion from these well loved songs. Why there’s never been a brodway musical to rival ‘Jersey Boys’, I’ll never know.
Tumblr media
Another matinee performance for us, with 'The Hunting Of The Snark' at the Vaudiville Theatre on the Strand, saw stand out performances from Simon Turner, Ben Galpin and Will Bryant. This wonderful comedy for all the family is well worth a visit when it comes to the Rose Theatre in Kingston from Tue 24th - Sat 28th Oct.
On the Friday we paid our first visit to the Cadogan Hall in Sloane Square, Chelsea for 'Around The World in 80 Days'. Whilst Andrew Pollard played the straight man, as Phileas Fogg, Michael Hugo stole the show with his his hilarious performance as Passepartout - not even taking a break in the interval; staying in character to play ukulele amongst the children as they had their half time ice creams. The show was packed with entertainment, acrobatics and magic throughout - a must see when this also comes to the Rose Theatre in Kingston before 'The Hunting Of The Snark'.
Tumblr media
The next morning, we set off to Liverpool for Hope & Glory Festival. We needn't have worried about missing any bands as the major delays at the festival meant that even the huge ques eventually got in in time to see the first major act, The Pigeon Detectives. Despite being a great day, the general public just weren't looked after; with the overcrowding becoming dangerous and unenjoyable for most, causing the event to be cancelled the following day - which meant I didn't get to play there. The pouring rain would not have made the Sunday as good anyway, and we decided not to que up in the downpour for The Lightning Seeds' substitute gig at the Zanzibar, opting for a guided tour of Beatles' pubs from Texas Bob.
Tumblr media
I did end up performing some songs at Ian Prowse(of Amsterdam / Pele)'s night at The Caven pub for 'Monday Club' though. Along with The Pigeons, The Fratellis / Razorlight / Embrace / Starsailor / The Zutons / Badly Drawn Boy and Chris Helme were all great on that fine, sunny day in Liverpool.
Back in Kingston, I had another opportunity to play a show, where I opened for The Cribs in Market Place, just before their New Slang appearance.
Tumblr media
At the weekend we went off to Lakefest in Ledbury for a longer set from Badly Drawn Boy and a headline slot from The Charlatans.
We returned to the Garrick Theatre for 'More Best Of Barmy Britain'. A 2 person show from Ashley Bowden, who's cropped up in 'Heartbeat' and the 'Just Eat' ad, and Laura Dalgleish, who's been seen in 'Ordinary Lies' and 'Eastenders'. These 'Horrible History' regulars put on a fun show for children (and adults) to learn and enjoy.
Tumblr media
On the Wednesday, we were back in London for The Sherlocks at 'Pretty Green'. The Gary Numan style aftershow didn't really happen though, and we missed their New Slang set the following evening but got to the Kingston venue in time for Everything Everything, who I supported there the last time.
Tumblr media

A week later, and Rat Boy's second Kingston show in a day followed Unkle's DJ set, also put on by Banquet, who then provided a double header of Jake Bugg gigs at All Saints Church the week after.

Bajan Newscap 4/9/2017
Good Morning #realdreamchasers! Here is your daily news cap for Sunday 9th 2017. Remember you can read full articles via Barbados Today (BT), or by purchasing a Sunday Sun Newspaper (SS).
PARENTS WANTS PHOTO OF BABY REMOVED FROM SOCIAL MEDIA - The baby in a picture being circulated on social media as the infant who died last Monday at the Ivy, St Michael, is actually alive and well. And the child’s parents are livid and have asked that people stop sharing the photograph and to take it down. The couple who spoke yesterday at their Black Rock, St Michael home said they were horrified when someone showed them the picture on social media with the words Rest in Peace written across it. The baby boy, Raheem, was born two weeks ago with his twin sister RoKisha. Their 29-year-old mother explained that it was the first picture she had taken of her son, who was released from the hospital before his sister. (SS)
TIGHTER WORK PERMIT SYSTEM – The Ministry of Labour has devised a formal framework to guide the granting of work permits to non-nationals, amid concern among labour and the public about the process. Statistics obtained by the SUNDAY SUN revealed that permit approvals showed a marked spike between 2013 and 2015, the last years for which figures are available. Some 17 989 work permits were issued in the years 2010 through 2015, with agricultural workers, carpenters and masons consistently among the top three occupations. In 2010, 2 237 were granted, 2 459 in 2011, 2 075 in 2012, 3 890 in 2013, 3 841 in 2014 and 3 487 in 2015. (SS)
HIGHWAY PROJECT GOING TO GRENADA – ADOPT-A-KILOMETRE is moving into other Caribbean territories. After transforming the local landscape from Christ Church to St Peter the company is taking its unique concept of outdoor advertising to Grenada and possibly St Lucia. Project coordinator Andrew Clarke said officials had been in discussion since last year with government officials in St George’s and by next month the firm will be providing signage along 20 kilometres of verges in the Spice Isle. “We are looking to go from the airport into St George’s,” Clarke said. (SS)
DOCKING THREAT TOPS BSTU AGENDA - Members of the Barbados Secondary Teachers’ Union (BSTU) will go into a huddle on Tuesday as they craft a response to the Ministry of Education’s threat to dock the pay of those who took part in last week’s march. Calling the threat another attack on teachers, BSTU president Mary Redman said the annual general meeting at Harrison College will be restructured so that issue will be the major order of business. “There are some decisions that we have to make, including our reaction to the issue of pay, and we need to have our members out here now so we wouldn’t have to call them back out again during vacation,” she told the SUNDAY SUN yesterday. (SS)
TWO INJURED IN ST PHILIP ACCIDENT - Two people are nursing injuries following a three-vehicle collision at Grove Road, St Philip this morning. Makayla Bradshaw, 35, of Ocean City, St Philip was the driver of one of the two motorcars involved while Lisa Alleyne, 36, of Pollards Land, St Philip was the other driver. Kerry-Anne Harding, 29, of College Savannah, St John was the driver of the motor-van. Bradshaw who complained of pain to the head and left leg was treated on the scene by ambulance personnel while Alleyne was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance for treatment. Harding and her three passengers were unhurt. Two fire tenders and nine fire officers under the command of Divisional Officer Errol Gaskin responded to the scene but their assistance were not required. Investigations are continuing. (BT)
TODLER IN CRITICAL CONDITION AFTER ACCIDENT – A two-year-old boy is in critical condition, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), following a vehicle accident last evening at Sargeants Village, Christ Church. According to police spokesman Acting Inspector Roland Cobbler the toddler and several other children were reportedly running along the road, when the two-year-old ran into the path of the vehicle driven by 31-year-old Andrew Forte of Sargeants Village, Christ Church. He received injuries to the head and was taken to the QEH by ambulance for medical treatment. Investigations continue into the accident which occurred around 6:30 p.m., on Friday, April 7. (BT)
POLICE APPEAL TO PARENTS – Parents and guardians must ensure that children are “adequately supervised” during the Easter Holiday. This was the plea from members of the Royal Barbados Police Force (RBPF) on the heels of a vehicle accident, on Friday night, that has left a two-year-old boy in critical condition at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH). The toddler and several other children were reportedly running along a road at Sargeants Village, Christ Church around 6:30 p.m. when he ran into the path of the vehicle driven by 31-year-old Andrew Forte. He received injuries to the head and was taken to the QEH by ambulance for medical treatment. Lawmen are also urging parents and guardians to ensure that all basic precautionary measures are taken during kite flying activities especially near power lines. (BT)
QEH LAB STAFF UP IN ARMS – There is trouble brewing in the laboratory of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH).  Eight members of staff of one of the most important departments at the health care facility are up in arms about a decision by hospital management to maintain a 24-hour shift system which involves only them, while other colleagues are afforded a full-time 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. shift. The National Union of Public Workers (NUPW) held two meetings with QEH officials on the matter, the last on Friday, when it was decided the system would remain for another month. “Negotiations are still ongoing,” the NUPW’s acting deputy general secretary Wayne Walrond told the SUNDAY SUN about the situation. “The extension will be pending having a number of matters ironed out, which have been addressed at the meetings so the system can be properly implemented,” Walrond added. (SS)
STATISTICS ON PARKINSON’S DISEASE - Barbados’ Chief Medical Officer says more people are being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease at an earlier age. Dr Joy St John made the disclosure this morning at the Limegrove Cinemas during a seminar on the illness held by the Barbados Parkinson Trust. “Most of us have been led to believe that the symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease are associated with aging and that the disease usually affects persons over the age of 50. However, there have been more cases of early onset of the disease and emerging data has shown that during the past several years it has been estimated and five to ten per cent of persons suffering from the disease are under the age of 40 years,” she told the gathering. Over one thousand Barbadians have been diagnosed with the condition. (BT)
OBESITY NOW A PUBLIC HEALTH EPIDEMIC – Obesity in children in Barbados has become a public health epidemic.  Currently, almost one in every three kids is overweight, and another 17 per cent of children between nine and ten years old are dealing with elevated blood pressure, both of which could lead to troublesome chronic non-communicable diseases (CNCDs) as they mature. These worrisome results form part of a recent study which was conducted by a joint task force from the Department of Paediatrics of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), the faculty of medical sciences of the University of the West Indies UWI), the Ministry of Education, and the School of Dietetics and Human Nutrition of McGill University in Canada. (SS)
YOUTH RESPOND TO HFLE CRITICISMS - The idea that secondary schoolchildren are being turned into homosexuals by health and family life education (HFLE) programmes is a case of misunderstanding what sexual education is.  That’s the response from Barbados Youth Development Council (BYDC) president Roshanna Trim to the current public discussion on the issue. She spoke during a special meeting and by-election held by the council at the Ministry of Youth in Haggatt Hall, St Michael, yesterday. Trim was reacting to comments by HIV/AIDS counsellor Ambrose Carter about the programme. “It’s really a reluctance to educate ourselves that creates these misconceptions. . . . We really need to address them. We need to have an open mind and address these things with a 21st century mindset and not with a 19th century mindset that was hidden in all of this talk of things being of a taboo nature. (SS)
DOUBLY SWEET – Darian King and Haydn Lewis have had their tough battles over the years. Not yesterday. Revenge was definitely sweet for the dynamic duo, as they avenged their CAC Games loss to Christopher Diaz and Wilfredo Gonzalez by rolling over the Guatemalans to give Barbados a 2-1 Davis Cup lead. (SS)
FOGGING SCHEDULE FOR APRIL 10TH -13TH  - Residents are being urged to open their doors and windows as the Ministry of Health’s Vector Control Unit continues its fogging exercise aimed at reducing the Aedes aegypti mosquito population. The fogging exercise runs from 4.30 to 7.30 p.m. each day.

BIG DEMAND FOR CCTV – Single women and the elderly have had enough of their homes being targeted by criminals.  And those in the security business are over the moon with the response. Three of the country’s main security systems providers are reporting a significant increase in Barbadians willing to invest more money than ever before to protect their home or property with electronic surveillance equipment. And they believe a rise in homes being targeted is the main reason the business is in such high demand.  (SS)
HARDWARE STEPPING ON TO BASHMENT STAGE - Bashment Soca has a new competition contender. Samuel Bridgeman, also known as Hardware Muzyk, is no stranger to the growing art form, but he will enter the contest this Crop Over for the first time as a singer. For many years the deejay/songwriter has co-produced many popular tunes. If you listen closely you will hear his name being mentioned in tracks such as Peter Ram’s Quicksand Upgrade, Bout Hey Heavy by Xcel featuring Bounty Killer or his own Piñata. He has also co-producer credits on Lil Rick’s Twerkin Time and the 2014 Party Monarch anthem Meh Rum by Gorg. Hardware Muzyk said he was pleased that the genre now has a formal showcase. In his most recent music video Pop Down Melody featuring Jah Reddis, Trey Breezy, Biggest, Sheriann Norris and Chris RK, all of whom have songs on the track, he was able to weave comedy into the almost four-minute production. The video has already generated over 170 000 views and he said it even got the attention of producer Chris Allman. He said he wrote and produced each of the four songs on the track and said it took about two months to the final product. (SS)

EPISODE 1 (Part 2) - “I'll be sharpening my knife just in case” - Eddie
SEB
I'll be happy if I never have to see another fucking Robot Unicorn for the rest of my life...
NICHOLAS
Hey guys! So I am going to send it here so it's easier, but I already LOVE my tribe! Everyone is so sweet and easy to talk to (something that isn't always the case in these games). I am really trying to be super active and friendly and supportive towards people so that they feel like they should keep me around,,,, and i think it's working well since I got added to that fun alliance! I'm working hard for this reward challenge so I can prove my worth to all of these people on my tribe! That's about it for now! xoxoxoxo Nicholas
AMANDA
OK i have found that i hate this unicorn game. Like HATE IT.  I am so over it. everyone seems cool so far. there is some people that i am already kind of nervous  about because they just seem like they are already trying to play games and stuff. IDK but they just have me on edge but oh well. I think i am going to try to become close with them but idk i don't really want to be close with hem bc i don't trust them.
JARED
Honestly I am PISSED I was not put with Daniella or Trysten, and I’m stuck with the damn furry! But this will not bring me down, I am here to WIN and I will do whatever it takes to do that. Right now my goal is to just be social and try my best to talk to everyone, because god knows I do not want to be the first one voted out!
CHRISSA
we won that reward which is cool there's a reason i like that game, I hope we win immunity too so nervous still. I am hoping i am safe if we don't win either though. Voting if we had to, would be so hard.
ELENA
I am so happy that we won reward! I am a little bit confused about what exactly they are able to do at "the summit" but hopefully Dani and Darian will share with us when they get back! So far as tribe relations go, I haven't had a chance to speak with everyone yet, but I have made a couple of friends it seems in Seb and Darian. I hope to speak with everyone at least once before Immunity challenge is over.
DANI
I WANTED THAT GODDAMN IDOL CLUE! ME! I did! But my freaking Papa Jabari or whatever that dish was called didn't have jack SHIT! Grrrr.... I Didnt even eat that shit it tasted like acc trash! So I'm starving and now I'm stuck on a fucking mountain peak with a furry, someone who plays the victim all the time, a photographer piece of shit who I'm targeting, and a few other assclowns I haven't had the privilege of conversing with. GET ME OUT OF HERE NOW!
MATT
My lord Seamus got angry over something I called toast. I need to do that more *eyes emoji*
CHRISSA
flag challenges are ugly but I am here for it and the summit twist is cool that's all
JARED
Honestly, I’m mad.  I wanted to go to the summit because I wanted to talk to Daniella… *starts sobbing* I just feel so ALONE! It’s not fair….
TRYSTEN
I'm not going to lie. I feel defeated a little. I just feel like the weakest link, and I'm not going to be surprised if they vote me out.
KENDALL
Okay I just found out newlyf's name, it's Ally. I was right the first time, which is weird because I am usually never right at all. So chances are we are in the Matrix, sorry to shatter your fragile reality :/. Now on to more substantial things: 1. The Reward Challenge Yeah fuck that challenge man. I'm not going to lie, for the first ten minutes it was sort of fun. I like addicting things and the music was pretty good but everything went down hill and it went down hill fast. I still have the bloody song stuck in my head. :( 2. Summit Interesting concept and I like the idea of having an excuse for not being as social. Unfortunately I couldn't jump at the opportunity because that would be stupid. It would put a target on my back if I did, as the possibility of me having an idol would increase. Plus the odds of someone from my group going was very high considering we make up 4/7. And low and behold I was right. Two of the people I trust the most went to the Summit and I got to keep my hands clean. I guess this also means that the idol thing was fake which leads me to say, really guys, really? I stressed out about this.  3. The Immunity Challenge Flag making challenge, I volunteered because nobody else knew how to use photoshop and I am really good at drawing. I'm no Picasso (early Picasso, not late Picasso, I could do that shit) but I think it will work. Not to mention I hate relying on other people because people are gross and that I need to prove myself of some use. If I'm not careful, they'll catch on that I am virtually worthless in most scenarios. Like I wouldn't even be good bait for the wild animals, I taste too much like arsenic.  Anyway that's all folks, I'll be back with more scheming, paranoid ramblings and zombies. Well, maybe not those first two.
DARIAN
SHIT HIT THE FAN kinda. I got an idol on my first try today. But it wasn't for my tribe... I know..Im sooooo lucky that I find someone else idol. So I was than told that I had 45 min to decide who I was going to give it to. Instantly I had two ideas in my head Keyonjay or Ally. Keyonjay- He clearly is decent in challenges and would be a string partner to attempt to align myself with. He has also agreed that if he finds my idol that he will give it to me. So theres a win win there for me.. maybe Ally- She did really bad in the first challenge and that honestly puts a huge target on her back because she is the easy vote. The team stays strong and no one gets butt hurt. But if she has the idol she can make a move and take out a big player EARLY... Like Keyonjay hahaha. After talking it out with keyonjay and getting his opinions and than a little self reflection I decided to give Keyonjay the idol in hopes that he could be the one to find my idol and maybe even become a strong alliance member!! Ahhhh so stressed!!!!
KEYONJAY
Okay so a couple things. I got the best score on the first challenge out of pure luck. Like just somehow I literally got to like 55k on level two when the previous times i played i couldn't get over 10k on all three levels. Unfortunately we still didn't win which fucking sucks because I didn't wanna go to the goddamn summit at all, but the other tribe chose me because i got the best score apparently. Didn't really wanna be away from my tribe for anything to change with my alliances, and really didn't wanna be put in a position that complicates my game. Ofc immediately that changes because Darian just gave me an idol. like dsfsdsf wtf. I just met the kid. It's really nice though and obviously from my last game I see that you can't abuse people's kindness like that so I'm not gonna use it against him or anything or brag and call him dumb (I'm sorry Mitchy D:) but this definitely complicates things because if I had an idol, I'd rather be the only person that knows about it and now I have to contend with the fact that this idol is basically mine AND Darian's and I have to use it in a way that benefits both of us or risk a pissed off juror. God. DONT GIVE ME IDOLS! I DONT WANT THEM! THEY COMPLICATE THINGS! He wants me to use it on Ally if my tribe loses the first immunity, but hopefully I can protect her and make that not happen regardless, or we can win, which I doubt since it's a flag challenge and I fucking suck at these.
ACE
Alright we got 2nd on the challenge which is decent. And then the next chall is a flag making competition and considering Kendall and Jared know of my abilities hopefully they can leave it up to me. I'm gonna make a wicked gif. Anyways the Summit twist is kinda cool, I got food that gave me an idol clue but it at least told me where NOT to look. I'm probably gonna stick to mountainside since random.org told me to. The Summit is Me and Keyonjay, Matt, Darian, Dani, and Johnny. I already know Dani and Matt, Darian talked with me a bit and they seem alright. They use phone emojis a lot and Im not use to seein those on my computer so its weird a bittttt! Johnny isn't online yet so idk about them just yet. Before I left Jared wanted me to talk to Keyonjay about making an alliance with them. When I heard keyonjay would be at Summit I decided to volunteer myself so I could get the question in. Keyonjay said they were ok with Jared and wanted him to join the alliance with Kendall and Nicholas... uhh no I think we just meant something between us 3 we don't need that big of an alliance even though our tribe is amazing and we'll probably barely lose anybody =') Also Kendall and I sorta already settled Jared as our possible first tribe boot so that'd just make things a bit harder maybe? WHo's even left? Ally and Amanda... that's it rofl also I don't think Ally is Mega anymore lol delete it
JOHNNY
Since joining the game, I’ve found it really difficult to legitimately communicate with people. I can’t help but think a lot of these people are dweebs, who just sit behind the computer all day blogging on tumblr and obsessing over Survivor games online I’m sure, and there’s no way I can compete with no lifes who do nothing but scratch their ballsacks all day. Any who, I do kinda know Dani, who is in the Summit with me right now, and i recognize Jared from a few other games I’ve played, but I’ve yet to approach him yet about the game, but I’m glad I have that in my back pocket. I’ve really gotta start forming some bonds with people, because the conversations I’m having with most of these people are not strong, and I wouldn’t be surprised if these try hard motherfuckers already have a majority alliance, but all I can do is contribute in challenges and hope for the best since my social game isn’t going to be too strong this early on. I’ve made a bond with Crimson on my team because we have a mutual friend, so hopefully that can take me a long way for now. My plan is to just bond with Matt since he’s the only one from my tribe I can talk to, maybe strike a deal, let him think he can do anything with me in this game, when tbh I’ll probably slit his neck soon enough anyways
tbh I get the very scary feeling that a lot of people know each other in this game, and I honestly don’t have anyone in this game that I can truly rely on like some do, and I’m never going to know who is friends with who. Now I know what it feels like to kinda be a newb in the games I play when I just target the people I don’t know… Guess I’m getting a taste of my own medicine here
DANI
Darian is getting on my nerves so badly. Like ugh, shut up for like two seconds nobody cares if you're a photographer.
So Darian's dumbass comes up to me saying Carson/Julia have an idol in the game. Do I believe him? Yeah. Do I not wanna believe him? Yeah... But that's just how the game works. Oh how I wish I had that idol... *licks lips* Oh the things I would do to it... Grrr....
CARSON
Ok so I'm pretty sure Darian just exposed that he has the idol by trying to give me a fake clue. On 1/4/17, at 7:23 PM, Darian Goggin wrote: > I got a clue to an idol On 1/4/17, at 7:23 PM, Darian Goggin wrote: > It wasn't much but it's something On 1/4/17, at 7:23 PM, Carson (albania host) wrote: > omg On 1/4/17, at 7:23 PM, Darian Goggin wrote: > Don't search the Forrest On 1/4/17, at 7:23 PM, Darian Goggin wrote: > Or the mountainside On 1/4/17, at 7:27 PM, Carson (albania host) wrote: > I guess that can be kind of helpful lol So apparently you get clues to the idol at the Summit. Hell, there could even be an idol at the Summit. But regardless he got a clue... but he should have quoted it if it was real. Plus I went to the mountainside already and got THIS: On 1/3/17, at 9:24 PM, carson (tibet host) wrote: > You come to the spot where an idol looks to have been hidden, but there's nothing here! https://media.tenor.co/images/fb3f2d1e814190100a4ae401b1660d5b/tenor.gif He told me not to go to the mountainside because he already went there and got it and he didn't want me to find out its gone! And I guess its safe to say he's working with Dani now, who I also wanted to work with. I would go to her about it, but idk if she'd leak to Darian that I'm onto him. Right now, I'm just going to lay low with this until I need to use it. It sounds to me like Dani, Seb and Elena already know each other, and if Darian goes with them, they'll have majority. I wanted to work with Julia (and by extension Chrissa), but idk if it'll work out. Once again, I don't want to pry at all because no one really has a target yet. There isn't an easy first boot, so one slip up could cost me the game. OK THE PLOT JUST THICKENED Apparently, the Namtso idol is gone... which means all the tribes are searching the same area. So maybe Darian doesn't have it... but he could be protecting someone that does. I mean he's probably in cahoots with the ppl at the summit, And we can find the other tribe's idols. I'm so fucking shook.
JULIA RAE
ok so right now i dont know what im doing bc i dont really play survivor ,,, but i think im doing alright. i talked to everyone and i rly like carson and darian but that just my opinion! also darian told me that he'd be willing to get rid of seb if it came down to it ,,,, which is ok with me idk that dude and he kinda weird ngl! hopefully we win immunity bc if we dont idk what to do!! hehe love survivor!!
TRYSTEN
Holy Shit! I fucking did not expect us to get first, but thank yoouuu Johnny! *blows a kiss to the camera* moi!
CHRISSA
I am so glad we are not going to tribal, fuck the people who said those things lol just kidding it's their opinion honestly we just don't know who will judge and what they will like. it sucks.
DANI
I feel good I feel nice I've never felt so Satisfied I'm in love I'm alive Intoxicated Flying high It feels like a dream When you touch me tenderly I don't know if it's real But I like the way I feel Inside
DARIAN
Yasss we won immunity! No tribal! Which is great because no one really is on the outs rn so no one can really be an easy vote and that's scary! But I don't have to worry about that so yay!
KEYONJAY
So we lost the first immunity challenge and this really sucks, but luckily I'm in the majority alliance and then we kinda have Jared as an extra number even though he's not really IN the alliance or the alliance chat. I still have my idol that nobody knows about so I could make some kind of move if I wanted. Darian wanted me to use it to "take out a power-player" but I'm like, not gonna do that. It's WAY too early to make a big move like that and it would be completely illogical and senseless. It's better to just go with the numbers right now and not rock the boat. Plus I don't really see anyone on our tribe as a power-player necessarily. Kendall is definitely the leader of our alliance but I wanted it that way so I can continue flying UTR and focus on my social game. Now to see who will be the first to go from our tribe. :( Sucks because I really like everybody.
MATT
Well damn. Johnny is actually the MVP for this one. We can literally just relax and pretend like we give a shit about who's leaving only because it's none of us lmao.
ACE
I'm sad we lost, I like everybody on this tribe. I don't feel like bringing Jared down just yet, I brought up that Ally had the lowest score on the Reward challenge so we could possibly just go with her. Everyone in the Mofos alliance said they wanna keep me and Kendall for doing good work in the challenge but we'll see about that. I think I'm good with mostly everybody except for Amanda and Ally. I just spoke to Amanda and she said she'll vote Ally bc they haven't spoken at allll. Amanda doesn't seem to be in any alliance whatsoever. Kendall is a strong leader in the Mofos and I like that she's more leading than I am even tho I'm the one who suggested Ally. Hopefully that'll keep the target more on her than me later on in the game. Kendall just told me Keyonjay gave her an idol clue and it's the same one I got. So that didn't help any. I guess I gotta continue filling up that mountainside grid.
ELENA
I am so happy that we aren't going to Tribal Council because I really like everyone on our tribe right now! It will be sad if we lose any time soon because they are all just very nice and interesting people. I am so greatful for Carson for doing the most of the work on the flag, I do wish he had somehow incorporated the Yaks since I did the research on Tibet, it felt like my idea was ignored a little bit. But what matters the most is that it was a very good outcome! I can't wait for the next challenge!!
KENDALL
Welp, I might have fucked myself. Why did I volunteer? Why did I think that combining two mediums is a good idea? Dear lord, what have I done? Well anyway, here's a quick recap: Ace and Keyonjay went to the summit and when they came back Keyonjay told me he had an idol clue. He gave it to me because he really didn't want an idol, apparently they are more trouble than there worth. Ace didn't tell me anything about the summit and only talked about making the flag. She only brought it up when I revealed my idol clue. This proves to me that my loyalties should lie more with Keyonjay than Ace. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Anyway after we lost the challenge I typed in the alliance chat "well at least we know it's either me or Ace". I meant it as a joke but they freaked out and thought I was pulling a Zane. I managed to clear up the misconception but I am still not sure if they still doubt me. In order to repair some sort of relationship with her, I showed Ace the idol clue which was the same clue she got. And now I'm nervous maybe she will show receipts of the conversation to Keyonjay and shift the target on to me. It wouldn't be too difficult, I'm a bit of an unusual person to talk to and I mostly hogged the challenge that we failed. Though chances are I'm being irrational so I'm not going to risk it. If I do start panicking and try to get my alliance mates out, I'll end up putting the target on my back that I've been trying to avoid. God I hate feeling fear, it's very gross. Well, all feelings are gross... it's just this one is inconveniencing me the most currently.
