Hi, Red! I'm currently listening to the latest podcast and got to the part about the Diamond Guardians/Four Heavenly Kings. Just wanted to let you know that 100% sounds like a Yu-Gi-Oh archetype, and Darhma Defusion would totally be the Boss Monster of the deck. Have a nice day!
it definitely has the energy of something I could see being shouted dramatically by Dan Green
❤️💜💙 Ben Tyler as Price and Stephen Rolley as McKinley 💚💛🧡
Basically the most McPriceley combo I've seen!
I've seen Ben opposite Stevie, Dom opposite Stevie, Ben opposite David (who has now left), Dom opposite Jed, Rolley opposite Stevie, and Ben opposite Rolley.
Ben x Rolley was something else. I'd heard that combo was good for McPricely, but I wasn't prepared for what I saw.
My McPriceley trash heart was VERY VERY happy
Personally I think Rolley is better as McKinley than as Price. I really like Ben's Price, but Rolley McKinley is amazing!
I've attached the photo of the cast board.
I'm going to give a summary of the highlights (from my perspective)
Turn it off
When Price and Cunningham arrived at the mission hut McKinley went to hug Price, and got very close in his personal space - his nose was almost touching Price's. This set the tone for the forthcoming McPriceley.
When McKinley says "are disturbing", he put his hand on Price's face to make him look at him.
When singing 'keeping it down' McKinley put his arms around both Cunningham and Price, but kept eye contact with Price as he sang 'like a dimmer switch'.
After singing about Steve Blade and returning center stage McKinley ran his hand down Price's chest and kept his other hand on his arm before the chorus dance
When Price was sitting on the sofa McKinley kept throwing glances at him and Price shifted uncomfortably.
After the blackout Arnold was bouncing on the sofa and he squeeked and shouted "oh yeah" as the elders danced. His excitement was contagious
During the tap number when Michaels had his palm outstretched Arnold hi-fived it. Jack Greaves (who was playing Michaels) looked momentarily surprised by Tom Xander doing that.
Arnold and Kevin sat on the sofa, and were discussing the pink waistcoat. Price was inspecting the sequins, but when McKinley looked his way Price looked at the waistcoat in disgust and tried to shove it into Arnold's lap. Then, when McKinley looked over again he smiled broadly and Arnold took the waistcoat and put it in the cushion.
Afterwards when McKinley led Price to his room and took Price's hand he winked at him. He then seductively walked his fingers up his arm before snatching his hand away quickly when Arnold commented about "sleeping right next to each other". McKinley also winked at Price, and looked him up and down, just before he closed the door.
SMHD
McKinley comes on and Price runs to him excited. McKinley ran his hand down Price's arm.
When his dad came on Price and his dad held out their arms for a hug - but then Darhma pulled his dad away and Price spun round. When Price stopped spinning Price almost bumped into McKinley and Hitler - he stumbled away looking scared (the almost bumped looked like it was accidental).
Was I in it?
Rolley's McKinley took a different approach to Stevie's, Jed's and David's. He stroked Price's face and cupped it as he woke up, leaning in for a kiss before scooting away.
When he asked 'was I in it' he touched Price's arm. And Price actually mouthed "well....yeah". I am so glad I was watching them instead of Arnold, otherwise I'd have missed that amazing McPriceley snippet.
Something Incredible
McKinley shoved Price out the way when he was saying that Arnold didn't need him. It was funny as the shove was very aggressive and Price stumbled.
TIALD
When Price said "fuck him", McKinley put his hand to his chest and fanned himself. He first looked scandalised and then interested, raising his eyebrows at Price.
When Price said 'break the rules' he winked at McKinley, and when McKinley was singing 'let all our feelings out' he turned to Price and grinned.
NB
There was so much McPriceley I've probably forgotten some and will have to edit this.
Some songs after
Some songs afterwards
I’d rather here again
The angst against you afterward
I’d rather hear song again
Why would I pick someone like you afterwards
We separated
I want my songs back
Over you thee absurd
You meant nothing
The bought for .99 cents
Was always saying more
Now how much for a single
Always Tyrannical & Thievery’s
To stay connected
5g funny with one absurd I taking information over the other 3 bars
AT&T
Some songs after
Grabbing your cheeks
Pulling the skin
To fumble over feet
My sincere skin power
Your weight will crush you
The darhma
Ohh confused reread tha karma
As corporations dumbshits
Fake blood, theatrics
All before Halloween
No JFK
In limelight’s
Feel sorry for me looking after you all
Garbage over Tool
Critics
Don’t from beyond the entering walls
Take a glance at refugees
But they walk not sailed
Death or live now
Sitting waiting
Trump does suck as
When Covid conglomerates sold cheaply
The results
To Foreign special o I l ohhh iiiiii love oil
Your made DNA
Was given away by Trump to sands
Of that other World
Here on same Planet
You signed that waiver
Didn’t read yourself
Who would? It was more than 750 words!
I could have read the words
But not knowing the definitions
I involved just signed in pen
Sign language was needed
But now
I saw my self in a photograph in Russia
Then again in India
And that Chinese was half me
And the NK of self, I easily killed
Had dumb ass hair cut
Just last week my self was in (can’t say)
Doctor rolling over
He said your swinging from a noose
I said
Over and over over again
What ! Human?
Some songs after words
150124
I come to you
as light
in darkness
a dark mind
(pillaged by pilgrims)
bright-eyed
blazing in shadow
(an umbrella
of Kugelblitz)
so you
see enough
to count my features
like flowers;
Carnation, Lily,
Lily, Rose
the flush of my hips
the taste of each lip
the smell of sweat
halved
like an avocado
nose nuzzled in
a sweet, creamy flesh
to pull out the pit
-
you: all darkness
made bright
by the sun
and the twists
in your tongue
the comfort
of your voice
wrapping around
all of your
non-neuroticism
now made real
for what it is:
a loquaciousness
a rambling loudness
of Napoleonic tendencies
(in life
and letters
to Josephine)
without aggression
or overcompensation
you come
as a darhma darling;
you inhale,
(but is there something
more than that?)
flirting with the edges
between
duty and play
“I'm gonna die surrounded by the biggest idiots of the galaxy.” -Gamora (Guardians of the Galaxy)
I don’t remember why you keep sending me fantastic movie and TV quotes, but please keep it up :>. I actually have a related story today! I’m taking level one stagecraft this semester, and I spent an hour today arguing over the shape of a fake watermelon ride and the logistics of spaghetti on a stick while several children who SHOULD NOT HAVE KNIVES were mutilating a baby doll. This one guy kept touching the hot glue every 10 minutes, reacting with the same shock and betrayal as the first time, as if he had forgotten HOT glue was HOT.
“Jeffery Darhma just poked into my soul”
“At least the corn is hollow!”
*Two kids holding the paint-mixer aloft* “Friendship is POWER!! MY DEADLY DOWELLLLL!!!” (To the tune of the mlp theme)
“Can I please have the knife? I want to stab a baby.”
