Our movie release landed smack bang in the middle of the strike and so there hasn’t been ample opportunity to thank the people who TRULY make these films what they are - stunt teams, visual FX, hair, make up, wardrobe, prosthetics, trainers, PA’s, technicians of every kind, camera operators, medical staff, gaffers, superhero boot makers, the person who blows a leaf blower in your face for amazing wind in the hair shots - the list really does go on! We’ve all sat through the credits of these films and it’s like watching a second movie in itself. It takes an enormous village.

I want to thank you all, Team Marvels, for the most incredible experience. I will continue to shout you out! I don’t have tags for all of you yet, but will keep adding! You all deserve your recognition, you were just the best to work with. To my stunt team, make up, hair and wardrobe HEROS especially - you carried me through this and I will be forever grateful.

Oh my god, this gave me such a thought.

Carol being the reason Dar-Benn was forced into power in the first place... Dar-Benn dying from the overcharged bangles because she physically could not handle the power that Carol forced upon her. Dar-Benn was doomed the moment Carol killed the Supreme Intelligence. She was doomed by the narrative.

Hey guys did you know that in the comics Dar-Benn had a co-emperor called Ael-Dan? And they both died together?

Do you guys think in the MCU Carol caused Ael-Dann's death and Dar-Benn escaped and was left to carry an empire slowly disintegrating into chaos all by herself... do you guys think about how wearing two bangles killed her but wearing one bangle didn't and how she might have possibly survived had someone worn the second bangle and used it with her instead of being forced to carry the power of both by herself.. do you guys think about how easily she accepted death as a possibility of her plan... do you think about how Zawe Ashton described Dar-Benn as "heartbroken"-

I wish her character had been better in this movie. Sigh. 😔

I don’t blame Zawe at all, because I still remember how absolutely boring they made Lee Pace when he played a very similar character in Guardians of the Galaxy. Something about playing a Kree accuser drains the actor of charisma.
