Every first meeting is at the same time the promise of a parting, somehow and somewhere.

Maybe it will come in a few minutes and we'll pass with a polite nod and nothing more. Maybe we will spend a whole lifetime drifting through each other's lives, as inseparable as the sea from the shore.

For forever, for a moment, for a time that is at once everything and nothing at all

to know you, to share your laugh and to breath your air

To be changed forever by loving you.

Venturing bravely into the realm of shading, although I still have a firm grip on the safety blanket that is a no-shading version under the cut!
