hi andrew i love you!!!!! i hope you are doing well in these trying times!!! i miss you :(( for the botanical ask! love in the mist, honey perfume, angel's face, peony, tea rose!!
mandala!!!!!! i miss u sm :O
love in the mist; best books you’ve ever read?
let me preface this w yeah im gay. Bone by Jeff smith, Nimona by Noelle Stevenson, Aristotle and Dante by Benjamin Alire Saenz, the raven cycle by Maggie Stiefvater, and All the President’s Men by Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward
honey perfume; favorite movie ever?
my blue heaven with steve martin and rick moranis!!!! i cannot express to you how funny i find this movie. if youre ever in the mood for a genuinely bonkers film this is it babey!! if u remember the mcgarvey journal prompt abt one thing we could do seriously provided we had no other obligations for like thoreau or w e i would write an in depth analysis of the relationship between barney and vinnie this is so fucking niche but god. god
angel’s face; what was your favorite bedtime story as a child?
oh ! i loved loved loved peter pan, and i had this beautiful illustrated version (that at first i hated bc it didn’t follow the movie at all, but i got over it once i realized how gorgeous the pictures were) that i would bring over to my night light and read once i was supposed to be asleep lmaoo
peony; share a small random book passage that means something to you.
“’That’s the difference between the living and the dead, ennit? The dead dun’t disappoint you. They’ve had their life, done what they’ve done. We dun’t change. The living, they always disappoint you. You meet a boy who’s all brave and noble, and he grows up to run away.’" Liza Hempstock (from the graveyard book!) was a rlly interesting character to me bc i got to explore her less traditional morals and bitter view of injustice along w the main character, Bod (short for Nobody), which was a fair departure from a lot of the other fantasy/fiction books i was reading as a kid
tea rose; what’s something you always wanted to do but were too scared?
ive rlly wanted to do coffeehouse, and i don’t know if this counts bc im auditioning this year (w hanif and mazzy and sophia!! it’s going to be so fun. actually if coffeehouse is happening ha ha ha)
