Every time I forget to refill my "hey, don't forget" pills, I can't. Because aome DEA dickhead decided he's going to enforce manufacturing limits despite the fact that deficit disorders spiked during the pandemic. It feels cruel by design. As if Dante Aligheiri was punishing me for my neurodivergence.
wild how we have a medication that is super effective at treating a debilitating disability but its controlled to hell and back because What If Someone Takes It For Fun like i have an idea who gives a shit

Hozier's Hymn to Virgil
Tumblr media
“There’s points where Virgil picks Dante up and carries him over certain places, and puts him on the back of beasts who fly him over ravines and all of this fantastical stuff. He holds this guy when he faints and trembles and weeps,” Hozier said. “Dante the living human in this poem is, like, horrified. And then he arrives at the end of it, and Virgil says, ‘Well, I can go no further.’ And Dante, the writer, knows on some level that Virgil is not a man who deserves to be in hell.”

In Praise of the Stygian. A cold breath runs down the back of my neck. I turn, yet I am only faced with darkness. A faint whisper beckons me forward. "Come to the dark," it says, "Join us." Do I move closer?
