Anstelle eines professionellen und perfekt ausgeleuchteten Fotos, stellte diese Handy-Schnappschuss mein erfolgreichstes Bild für 2019 dar. Mit 7.421 Likes, ging diese Bild für mich sprichwörtlich viral. Das Modell habe ich in 2018 selbst gebaut und es zeigt einen Hyundai i20 WRC bei einer Wasserdurchfahrt während der Rallye Argentina. Auch wenn sich seitdem viel für mich verändert hat, bin ich immer noch stolz auf dieses Modell und auf die Kreativität, die dazu geführt hat. Босс Hyundai: Мы проиграли титул

В команде Hyundai признали поражение от M-Sport в борьбе за титул чемпионов мира по ралли.

Второй день ралли Каталония обернулся для команды из Альценау настоящим провалом. Оба пилота, которые были призваны поддерживать Тьерри Невилля и набирать очки в командный зачет — Дани Сордо и Андреас Миккельсен — сошли с дистанции на СУ12, повредив подвеску об один и тот же камень.

«Нужно признать один очевидный факт, — сказал руководитель команды Мишель Нандан. — Чемпионат в зачете производителей мы проиграли. Но мы еще можем сделать что-нибудь, что поможет Тьерри в его погоне за титулом в личном зачете».

Перед стартом заключительного дня Невилль занимает пятую позицию, уступая Себастьену Ожье полминуты. Отставание это стало следствием технического отказа на утренней секции и последовавшей за ним аварией на перегоне по пути к СУ9.

«На финише второго спецучастка дня в гидравлической системе пропало давление, — рассказал о произошедшем Тьерри. — Мы остановились на дорожной секции, чтобы устранить проблему, однако после этого автомобиль не хотел заводиться на протяжении пяти минут.

Когда нам всё же удалось двинуться, пришлось поторопиться, потому что мы опаздывали на старт спецучастка. В панике забыв, что гидравлики у нас больше нет, я попытался затормозить в шпильке, но задние колеса заблокировало, и автомобиль ударило о насыпь».

Опоздание на КВ обошлось Невиллю в 30 секунд штрафа и отбросило на восьмую позицию.

«Дело дрянь, — подытожил бельгиец. — Мы могли бы побороться за второе место и отыграть очки, но теперь наше положение лишь осложнилось».
