“Who are you?” The man asks, his voice, something he can’t recall using since arriving at this not-place, sounds harsh against his ears, rattling against the bones in his skull like… like… like a metaphor he can’t remember.

The newcomer looks up at the sound, blinks rapidly against the harsh glare of the light above them as his hand comes up to shield his eyes. They’re blue. And green. And yellow around the edges.

“I think… I’m Philip, or… no, Phil. I’m Phil.” His voice is soft. “What’s your name?”

“I don’t remember,” the man says. 

Phil chuckles, and the man notices the lines beside his eyes deepen, stretch across his pale skin like… like…

“That’s all right then,” Phil says. “Not like it’ll get confusing with all the other people around, huh?”

The man doesn’t smile, but Phil does. Soft and gentle and deafening.

“Are you real?” The man can’t help but ask. Because it seems rather sudden, rather inconspicuous as days go. There had been no additional hum in the air. No sense of watching or being watched.

Phil blinks at him, the smile never leaving his lips. “I think so, yeah,” he nods. “I feel real.”

The man doesn’t believe him, but he won’t tell Phil that.

I watch dan and phil sm as a comfort background kinda thing that whenever I refresh my homepage I'm duped into thinking they've uploaded a new video only to find that it's one they posted 3 months ago that I've watched several times since they posted it. the worst one is defo it takes two just bc it gets my hopes so high only to hit me with crushing disappointment.

so i was looking for a neil gaiman ask about good omens s2 (i failed and gave up) where he replies sth along "soon we will be at the place we all want to be" or sth which is when i think i knew that aziracrow will become somewhat canon. i think about this all the time (so if by any chance you are able to find it pls send it to me!!). Especially now in the context of whatever the fuck dan and phil are up to / possible phard launch. They've been dropping clues(?) like this all over the place and its not just me who feels that we are about to be hit by sth big. maybe the real hard launch is just as much about us being hit as it is also about them launching sth at us. I'm very happy to still be here on phannie tumblr in 2024 with you to experience this. I'm so proud of dnp and how far they've come since I joined the phandom in 2019. I think joining after they both came out gives me a little different perspective on how they have changed in terms of communication / talking about their relationship on camera and I have to say that those 5 years needed to happen. As much as I wanted to see them be this open 5 years ago they weren't there yet. And I wasn't there yet either. but now? we are closer than ever before and i love how symbiotic our relationship with them is now. they dont resent us, like theyre just like us fr in many ways. and i think they want this too. im so happy for them, really happy. i want them to have all the joy in the world with each other. we are here with open arms whenever they are ready <3.
