Tonight I learned even more Danish, but from an unexpected but welcome source: Comedy. I went to the #danglish comedy act by Conrad Molden, which had material mostly covering the Englishman's adjustments made to living in Denmark. Compared to other live acts I have seen at home, tonight's felt extra special when I understood Danish jokes that were sprinkled into the English routine. It was great to go out and have a laugh at the occasional confusion people new to Denmark share with the language and have a sigh of relief that we're all trying our best to pronounce ø properly.
