i realise that i discard khr canon as its pasta water but i will never buy in the idea that xanxus didnt get to be heir solely on blood related reasons
cause you know what? it makes no sense.
tsuna is "direct bloodline" from primo, which means his vongola blood dates back at least one century with nothing added in between - dont tell me you dont believe there have been marriages between at least loosely related vongola people through the generations.
at the same time it is unknown where xanxus comes from, yet if we consider the lore as it was in varia arc it is apparent that he has some kind of vongola blood in him. flames are are clearly a vongola thing at that point in time.
now, lets say he is a descendent of riccardo (vongola secondo), what makes him different from tsuna? he may well be the descendant of a bastard son of anyone along the line. or of a cousin or anyone else. still, he may have the same amount of vongola blood in him as tsuna does (if not more, considering less generations)
this is all to say:
whether xanxus (or tsuna) has vongola blood in them is not relevant at all. the ring has its will. we've seen it with tsuna and his meeting of all the past bosses.
if the ring did not accept xanxus was because at that moment he was not what was needed for the family. because his hurt and hatred would have brought it to ruin. and i very well believe that the ghosts of bosses past were there to tell him so when he put the ring on (and that daniela was the only one who looked at him with love and compassion), and that is the reason he was so defeated afterwards

What is the worst take about 911 that you have ever heard? Something that made you go why the fuck would you think that?
objectively the worst takes i have ever seen are the racist/misogynistic ones obviously but i have things i also just Hate. people saying jee-yun should’ve been named like. daniela instead???? hate that. hate it so bad. and i’ve seen it so many times. buck woobifiers deserve their internet access permanently revoked. fics where buck doesn’t understand basic spanish like this man didn’t fully live in peru. chris calling buck ‘bucky’. everything under the ‘maddie buckley is a bad sister’ tag those are ATROCIOUS. some of the shit related to the lawsuit arc……yeah. i’ve seen people say eddie should die so buck can get custody of christopher. also saw people saying maddie should and chim should lose custody of jee because maddie left with ppd and chimney took a baby across the country to find her. saw someone say the tsunami arc sucked. wrong! have seen people say hen should’ve stayed with eva because it would’ve made her character more interesting. speaking of, saw someone say they liked doug because ‘yes he was terrible but he made maddie interesting’. seen people on twt say they want bobby to die like? what is wrong with you. no. also the way some people talk about eddie makes me believe violence IS the answer. hope this helps. it’s apparently hater hours and i just woke up. luckily most of this i have seen through screenshots and my mutuals talking abt it because my dash is solid :)

Lately I really want to shove Daniela and Ambar down the stairs. I am sure I will eventually come to love an Ambar growth arc but right now I can’t stand how she is so manipulative. And Daniela. Ugh. Oh no. I cannot stand her at ALL.
Still have a crush on Tamara lmao

NCIS: Los Angeles ended its 14-season run on CBS with a finale all about “New Beginnings” (hence the title), and while it was a mostly happy ending, everything wasn’t tied up neatly with a bow.
For example, yes, Callen (Chris O’Donnell) has learned quite a bit about himself over the years and did marry Anna (Bar Paly). Yes, Callen and Sam (LL Cool J) went to Morocco to join Nell’s (Renée Felice Smith) team in a mission to rescue Hetty (Linda Hunt), and we can assume that will be successful (especially with LL Cool J recurring on Hawai’i in Season 3). We know that Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks’ (Eric Christian Olsen) family will soon be one of four, with her pregnant.
But what about the storylines that weren’t wrapped up or the callbacks we didn’t get (like we did with Switch and Mr. Carl? “We’ve had fun over the years, no doubt about it, and so when you do come to have to wrap it all up, it’s a big task because it’s like coming into a hoarder’s house, you don’t know where to start cleaning,” executive producer R. Scott Gemmill told TV Insider with a laugh.
Below, he shares where some storylines could have gone next and more.
Is there anything you can say about where you imagined the Kessler (Frank Military) story going?
R. Scott Gemmill: I’m not sure. I imagine we would’ve finally brought him to justice. That would’ve probably been something we would’ve resolved in another season. Same with — we were really looking forward to doing an arc with Kilbride [Gerald McRaney] and his son [Christopher Gorham], and we had set that in motion, but we didn’t have enough real estate to finish that because that would’ve been a longer story. We would’ve probably got a good season with him story-wise out of that.
The scenes with Gerald and Christopher were so good.
Yeah, I love Gerald. I tried to get him on the show for years, and when I finally did, it was great. And that’s the worst part of having the show be done is not getting to work with these people and tell the stories that they were so great at bringing to life.
What about the resolution for the Body Stitchers case? That was the most disturbing case of the series.
Yeah, that’s 100 percent Frank Military. We always tease Frank that we have to let him write stuff like that so that it doesn’t happen. I don’t know; I’m not sure how we would’ve resolved that. I would have left that in Frank’s capable but sort of deranged hands.
Tumblr media
I have to ask: Could Deeks’ mom (Pamela Reed) and Arkady (Vyto Ruginis) actually go somewhere if only for Deeks’ reactions to it?
I think we would probably do that. I think that was a given because Deeks would just be totally appalled, and that alone would be worth doing that. So I think if we were to have had another season, we definitely would’ve gone that route.
Was there anyone you wanted to bring back but couldn’t this season, especially once you knew that the show would be ending?
I would’ve liked to have brought back Barrett [Foa]. I would’ve liked to have brought back Linda. I would’ve liked to have brought back John M. Jackson and that crew that used to be Hetty’s sort of gang that she ran with when she was younger. If it was up to me, I’d have had everyone who would’ve ever been on the show back on, but it’s just not practical. But especially when you’re going out, and you’re starting to think about everyone who was on the show and who brought great stuff to the series, you wish you could have one big giant family reunion.
Are there any storylines you would’ve liked to explore in the final season that you didn’t get to explore?
Certainly why Hetty was overseas. In the end, our boys go to Morocco, but that story was set in Syria. I would’ve liked to have finished that storyline out, but we didn’t get a chance. And like I said earlier, I would’ve liked to follow through with Kilbride and his son, and I’m sure there’s a dozen more.
Kilbride had given Sam that envelope. How much longer do you imagine the team operating it as it has been before something changes?
Sometimes we use those as a bit of a throw-a-monkey wrench into the characters’ lives, and a lot of it depends on the actors, too. We’ve been on the show for 14 seasons, and if you look at any other shows that have gone that long, very, very few, if any, have all the original members. We have our four basically from Season 1. So eventually, some actors feel they want to go do something different. So we always have that option. If somebody wants to leave, we’re never going to stand in their way. So if somebody decided to leave then we would make a change, but as long as people wanted to stay on the show, we would accommodate that, obviously because it was such a great recipe for success.
Where do you imagine life taking these characters going forward? Especially now that we’re not going to see it, so you don’t have to be beholden to availability.
[Laughs] I don’t know. I could see Sam going into the private sector or Callen. I think all our characters love what they do. I could see Kensi staying with NCIS and Deeks becoming a stay-at-home dad. I think he would be quite content to do that for a while. Fatima [Medalion Rahimi] and Rountree [Caleb Castille] would probably stay with the team and be upgraded to the higher echelon of the team. And then I could see Kilbride retiring, especially if Sam and Callen moved on. Hetty, I think, will do this until her dying breath.
I have to say that the addition of the younger agents was so good.
Yeah, we wanted to see some sort of younger people in the capacity of what our guys do. And it gives you an idea of what maybe our guys were back in the day even, in terms of what they were like when they were young agents because our guys are so adept and have been doing it for so long that it’s nice to see sort of fresh set of eyes in that position.

Hey, Dad, thanks for sharing all that🫂🫂🫂 Good to know your perspective on question. I appreciate that)
I've got to ask tho, why not have Max as that character? Like, at this point you put him in same box of "confident out and about trans man", but... he most likely went through these specific struggles you talk about. Why not wind the clock just slightly back? When Max was still going through it?
It'd feel kinda... weird to completely de-trasition Max for that, honestly.
Like, yeah, Max went through that type of struggle with gender in general for a good chunk of his life. It's a whole ass arc for him just coming out to Daniela. But he's finally at a point his gender identity isn't an issue for him, and he's actually happy with it.
I don't wanna take that away from him for my own shit, that just feels wrong. He doesn't have to be a vessel for everything, and I like where he is.
Plus that is a long jump back and would kind of reset his personality and I don't wanna do that.

Coronation talk .news.com.au
news.com.au — Australia’s leading news site Entertainment Celebrity Life Royals King Charles’ massive Prince Harry and Meghan Markle coronation gamble The King has blinked and wants to “broker” a deal with his renegade son but it could come at a high cost.

04:08 King Charles ‘in talks’ for interview to respond to Prince Harry’s explosive claims King Charles III may sit down with the BBC to respond to Prince Harry’s explosive … more View more related videos COMMENT
Being the Archbishop of Canterbury used to look like quite the cushy gig. Sure, the mitre is a bit ridiculous and overseeing royal weddings, with live global TV audiences in the billions, would be a tad nerve wracking.
Still, it still looked like a relatively plum appointment, what with getting the keys to Lambeth Palace and never having to run a parish bake sale ever again.
So let’s just pity Justin Welby who got the posting in 2013.
Welby will go down in history as the first leader of the Church of England to become embroiled in controversy after an Oprah Winfrey TV special and the first leader of a world religion to be called in to stymie a possible Netflix story arc.
(Hard to see Pope Francis taking a break from his day job to have to deal with the cardinals wanting to make a reality show …)
Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby sparked headlines when he asked Oprah Winfrey what she did for a living at Harry and Meghan’s wedding. Picture: Bethany Clarke/Getty Images Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby sparked headlines when he asked Oprah Winfrey what she did for a living at Harry and Meghan’s wedding. Picture: Bethany Clarke/Getty Images Over the weekend, Welby was back in the headlines with the Mail on Sunday reporting that King Charles has decided it is better to have royal refuseniks the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attend his May 6 coronation than to leave them to their own devices back in the US, and to that end has asked the Archbishop to “broker a deal” with the couple.
According to the Mail, His Majesty is of the view that if the Sussexes stayed away from London it could end up being a “greater distraction” than having the duo in the royal family’s midst, which is why Charles “is prepared to make concessions to persuade them to attend.
On the table for Harry is “a high-profile seating position in the Abbey or an informal assurance that he will be able to keep his titles as an inducement to attend”.
The big hitch to the King’s plan comes in the form of heir to the throne and the Bane of Necklaces Everywhere, Prince William, who reportedly has qualms over his dear old Dad’s scheme. The Mail has reported that Willy “fears that unless Harry’s visit is tightly scripted, he could steal the limelight by, for example, going on a walkabout in a deprived London borough with Meghan”.
(A quick side note: If two people can “steal the limelight” away from a once-in-a-generation event by doing nothing more grandiose than wandering about Dagenham while people make TikToks then it does not say much about the robustness of the new King’s reign.)
Willy is said to be worried Harold could pull a stunt if he and Meghan come to King Charles’ coronation. Picture: Mark Kerrison/In Pictures via Getty Images Willy is said to be worried Harold could pull a stunt if he and Meghan come to King Charles’ coronation. Picture: Mark Kerrison/In Pictures via Getty Images Anywho, bottom line: Charles wants Harry and Meghan inside Westminster Abbey for his big day and is willing to give the Sussexes decent seats and not stick them behind a convenient pillar or random German cousin who is unusually tall, all in the name of a PR-crisis-free coronation.
Which is to not say that the Duke and Duchess of Netflix are keen as mustard to play ball and are currently teaching their children Archie and Lili how to bow and curtsy or the best way to get a regal Jack Russell off your leg.
That Tony Robbins assertiveness podcast that Harry has been listening to (I’m guessing) would seem to have worked, because, per the Mail’s sources, the Duke wants certain “terms and conditions” to be met in return for their presence.
A source has told the Mail: “All the indications are that Harry is being advised to agree to nothing at this stage and ‘play it long’ right up to the last minute, which is making negotiations with him very difficult.
“Harry’s camp made clear that the idea that he would just attend the coronation and behave himself but then be stripped of his titles was a total non-starter.
“While he might decide at some point to discard his titles of his own volition, he objects to the idea of being forcibly stripped of them.”
(Well, of course he might ‘object’ to them possibly losing their Sussex titles given it is not in their interest to find out if Netflix is quite so generous if the cheques suddenly have to be made out to Mr and Mrs Mountbatten-Windsor.)
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle don’t want to be shunted to the second row at King Charles’ coronation. Picture: Arthur Edwards/WPA Pool/Getty Images. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle don’t want to be shunted to the second row at King Charles’ coronation. Picture: Arthur Edwards/WPA Pool/Getty Images. So let’s zoom out here, bigger picture time and all that.
For Charles, this looks like he is pursuing a containment strategy, some way of minimising the chances of the Sussexess staging some sort of TV tantrum right at exactly the moment Justin is anointing him with oil or he is reciting the coronation oath.
His calculation would seem to be that it is safer to make a few “concessions” and keep the Sussexes’ sweet rather than having to worry about what they might be getting up to in Montecito.
But can or will this appeasement of sorts work? If the King decides to go down this road, would it ultimately work in his favour or could it go down about as well as that time the Archbishop’s chaplain Cardinal Thomas Wolsey failed to help Henry VIII get that divorce he wanted from wife number one?
Is King Charles playing a dangerous game by trying to appease Prince Harry. Picture: Jack Hill/AFP Is King Charles playing a dangerous game by trying to appease Prince Harry. Picture: Jack Hill/AFP Recent history would suggest that Charles is taking quite the gamble here.
In the last 12 months we have had two major royal events – the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee four-day celebration and then her funeral in September – both of which Harry and Meghan not only attended but were on their best behaviour.
They did not stage any rogue walkabouts in Brixton or give any interviews to roving breakfast presenters or do anything so controversial as blink at an inopportune moment. Gold stars all around!
And yet, looking back at both of these historic outings and Harry and Meghan’s very presence hovered, blimp-like, over proceedings. Their very presence back behind Palace gates and The Firm’s handling of their return were huge stories.
After all, what would you prefer to read about? A septuagenarian taking part in a lengthy (well, hour-long) religious ceremony or the latest glamorous instalment in this royal soapie? In getting to watch as the Prince and Princess of Wales clap eyes on the Sussexes for the first time since Spare and all of its juicy, often gossipy, family revelations landed?
Harry and Meghan were on their best behaviour at the Queen’s funeral in September 2022. Picture: Nariman El-Mofty/WPA Pool/Getty Images. Harry and Meghan were on their best behaviour at the Queen’s funeral in September 2022. Picture: Nariman El-Mofty/WPA Pool/Getty Images. The more I think about it, the more I wonder, can Charles win the fight for public and media interest if they go?
Let’s imagine that, come May, Harry and Meghan jet into London and things go swimmingly. We would end up with photos of the Duke and Duchess within lipgloss-sharing distance of the Waleses and no one throwing a punch or bursting into histrionic tears.
Headline writers the length and breadth of Fleet Street would start to busily work on their ‘brothers united’ puns and have to shelve that old favourite, ‘Splitting heirs.’ It would be the biggest – or at least the most clicked, read and shared – story of the day.
Or, let’s imagine that things go the other way and that having the Waleses and the Sussexes sharing a pew would trigger a repeat of Commonwealth Day 2020 when the froideur between the two couples was so obvious they could have triggered a new Ice Age. It would be the biggest – or at least the most clicked, read and shared – story of the day.
A rather frosty Commonwealth Day service on March 9, 2020. Picture: Phil Harris/AFP A rather frosty Commonwealth Day service on March 9, 2020. Picture: Phil Harris/AFP However, the other option for Charles – putting his foot down and issuing a coronation invitation with like it or lump it terms – is hardly likely to work in his favour. It is not as if Harry and Meghan are shy about popping up on TV screens and sharing their feelings about his family.
Harry and Meghan have the King over something of a barrel. (Only the very best sort of barrel of course for His Majesty though.) Spare would seem to have hit its mark and the way things stand now, with just over three months to go, is that Charles is willing to capitulate in order to avoid further dramahhhhh.
More Coverage ‘Out of control’: Charles facing disaster Charles in talks for tell-all interview Lucky Justin Welby, left to “broker” this deal. Here’s hoping that UN Peacekeepers might be able to lend him one of their signature blue berets because he is going to need it.

More suggestions for a POTENTIAL SL Rewrite
Daniela is not Simon’s Ex Girlfriend. She is a crazy girl who thinks they were in a relationship, but in reality they just had a 1 minute conversation and he didn’t thought about her again.
People could point out that Alfredo’s description of Lili matches Luna perfectly.
And maybe Emilia could get a proper redemption arc.
Hahaha I will probably forget this once I even get to the potential SL rewrite in like 2-5 years but Thanks for the suggestion 🩷 They are really good and I have thought about the Emilia one before.
