Oh fuck off Mythic Quest did not make me cry again
#what is WITH this show#who is it FOR#it’s like 15% okay 5% you could have not said that and 80% hang on this is good??#what is happening#what is this show’s tone#it’s not a workplace comedy. but it is a workplace comedy#I’m only on season 2 but apparently they’re establishing a pattern of shooting me in the fucking face once a season with a stand-alone stor#that has No Right. being deftly executed. AND YET#rob mcelhenney is once again playing a deluded self aggrandizing guy with daddy issues#rob mchenney has poured…..so much of his love for his irl friends into these characters#dani pudi is a goddamn treasure#they are pirouetting over the bechdel test like it does not exist#and yet they are constantly saying things that make me want to hit someone with hammers#seriously 80% of this show is so good and yet- AND YET#and back to the tone#a string of episodes will be like wham! happy campy ending!#and then WHAM. no warning just WHAM#i just have to keep watching I guess. I don’t know what’s gonna happen. does anyone on this show know where it’s going?#are we adrift on a sea that is actually a very large bucket#I don’t know. but I guess I have to study it
