Woah I’m posting art! Meet Daisy Hare, my danger days/killjoy self-insert/OC!! Yeah I’ve been on a danger days fanfic brainrot moment on AO3 for the past week and a half and I had to throw my creativity somewhere! I usually clean my refs but this is more like a moodboard/info dump and whatever came to mind :)

It’s been super long since ive had fun creating something new and unrelated to my vtuber stuff!

My handwriting is wild but overall her story is that she used to work a regular office job in Battery City, alongside a coworker who at first was just a typical fake friend situation or whatever. (I didn’t read the killjoy comics and just am relying on what i found online and fanfics and the album plus guides and other ppl’s ocs haha) One day there’s a raid for supplies? And the killjoys were blasting rock music, which shook Daisy to her core (her old name b4 deserting is my irl name since shes a self insert lel) and woke her up I guess? Her coworker as well, who would later find out that ‘he’ was a ‘she’ and had to escape as well to live her truth! They both escape together and team up and kiss i guess LOL. Daisy Hare has her name because of a sexy bunny girl costume she found on a discarded pornodroid, and thought it seemed practical cus of the bodysuit thing, and funny cus of the ears! She also just likes daisies and loves stitching or patching them to her bomber jacket. I didn’t flesh out her team member yet I just know she’s a trans woman and that Daisy will support her to death and help her the best she can!!

I’m creating her buddy/love interest next, excited to keep exploring more ideas!

some stuff to keep in mind when making a killjoy oc:

・killjoys don't have as many resources as people in battery city, so most of their things are DIY

・killjoy names usually consist of 2 words + usually have some sort of significance

・the radiation from the sun in the zones is very dangerous, so killjoys cover up as much skin as possible

・if your killjoy had a name before the zones, that person is considered to be separate from them now

・killjoys wear a lot of color as opposed to BL/Ind's black and white

・ killjoys very rarely have access to actual proper housing so they take shelter wherever they can find it (think old stores, gas stations, diners, shipping containers, semi trucks etc)

・ killjoys don't have a very good sense of exact time (like they don't know what year/month/calendar day it is)

I'll probably add more later as i remember it

BULLETPROOF HEART (Bunny Bomb and Vamp Venom) 30 second 24 hr turnaround animatic. Drawn all in my sketchbook and scanned in/tweened on ibispaint. Finalized in CapCut.

Bunny and Vamp are both killjoys but stand for entirely different things, Vamp hates Bunny with a passion and has since they were relatively young. This is not toxic yaoi it’s just toxic I’m begging for them to not get shipped. There’s a lot of lore I’m cutting out but I’m willing to go more in depth another time. Bunny works at Tommy Chow’s and Vamp is a vagabond.

Vamp becomes a “follower” of the Phoenix Witch, believing that the fact he is blind brings him closer to her and therefore he can translate her word (cough cough cult leader cough cough) and Bunny believes that the killjoy movement on its own can stand up to BLI (he is a weaponsmith). Basically, it becomes Bunny’s divine duty to kill Vamp.

"uhhhh superfuckingbright yellowish-bluish?") friendship bracelets. nail art trends. slightly dangerous radioactive pets everyone has. witchfucker wednesday <3 the zines passed around about everything from how to sew up your pants to how to shoot a drac dead in one zap. just. KILLJOY CULTURE IS FULL OF JOY OKAY
