So this was written pretty late and i apologize for any and all mistakes. I woke up from a dream and just couldn't get the thought of Phil talking to Dan about changing his hair out of my mind so i decided to write something. I’m sure this is terrible but its late and i’m tired so I’m posting it anyway.

Per usual, it was almost 3am when Dan decided to head to bed after some late night Internet binging. However, walking into the room, the last thing he expected to see was Phil sitting up as he had gone ahead to bed a few hours prior. Continuing to walk into the room, Dan could see that Phil was just staring off into space and hadn’t even noticed him yet. He walked the rest of the way to the bed and slowly sat down near the end so he didn’t frighten the other.  Upon feeling the bed shift, Phil turned towards Dan and smiled a little. “Decided to join me after all?” he asked.

Dan’s brows drew together with concern as he looked back at Phil “it’s been 2 hours since you said you were going to bed. Have you been zoned out this whole time?” he questioned.

He watched as Phil’s eyebrows shot up and he glanced at the time display on his phone beside him. “I guess so. I was just thinking and I guess I got a little side tracked” he replied sheepishly.

Dan climbed into the bed beside him and pulled Phil towards his chest. Dan asked, “What has you thinking at 3am instead of sleeping?”

Snuggling closer Phil sighed, “My hair. I know its just hair but I’m worried about cutting it tomorrow. What if people don’t like it and they stop watching me? Am I really still AmazingPhil without the fringe?”

Dan lightly pushed Phil back far enough he could see his face and ran a hand through Phil’s hair, leaving his fringe pushed back. “I know it’s scary to change things but a lot of the time the change is a good thing. Remember how much you had to reassure me when I first stopped straightening my hair?” he asked. Phil shook his head yes, so Dan continued, “I was so afraid of how people would react because I had spent so long hating it, but in the end you convinced me it would be ok and I think it turned out for the better. At the very least my hair is definitely healthier” Dan chuckled. He pulled Phil back to his chest and the two snuggled down under the duvet. “Plus look at it this way, I’ve seen you with a quiff for years and I still think you’re pretty fit” Dan laughed.

Phil snorted as he let out a breath. “Yeah I guess you’re right. You embraced your hobbit-ness and everyone still likes you. Maybe being fringeless won’t be so bad” Phil said followed by a yawn.

Dan pressed a kiss to Phil’s forehead as he said “Phil with a quiff is going to be just as amazing as Phil with a fringe. If you really don’t like it, you can always change it again.”

Phil made a small hum of acknowledgment as he drifted off. Dan just smiled. He knew Phil would be ok and he would be by him every step of the way to remind him.

I wanted to draw my team from Lockstin's Kaskade Region! Please check out his amazing region and all the artists that did thr art for him! The team consists of:

-Miyako, my Umbreon who I've had as a partner since she was an Eevee. Miyako is Japanese for "beautiful night child." She is very loving and likes to cuddle, but she is also a strong protector.

-Danfluff. This is the grass starter in the Kaskade Region. Danfluff is the second stage. He's a goofy guy and pretty mellow. Danfluff is pretty dopey lol.

-Oxillery is an electric type. He's the gentle giant of the group. He's not big on fighting, but is as strong as can be. Oxiellery loves munching throughout the day.

-Tofrug is a poison/fairy type. He is always happy and plays small pranks, but nothing that hurts anyone. He likes to collect berries and bring them over to the team to share.

-Desoray is a fighting ground type. He can hover above the ground about a foot. He can carry me and I like to pretend to surf on his back. Desoray is very stoic, almost like the gruff and tough lone cowboy.

-Worcane is the region's pseudo legendary and he is a water/dragon type. Big enough to be road on when crossing bodies of water, which I enjoy doing, since I love the water. He can ber ferocious, but he has his moments moments he acts like a puppy and wants his belly rubbed.

listen, it’s just a part of who i am at this point. i know i wanted this blog to be my second chance but honestly i just am trying to find a good dnp url that isn’t crap. taking suggestions. if you’re confused i am, i was @cactus-phil then @danfluff on this account at least. being @sunsetdnp lets me work in some vaporwave stuff kinda with oranges and yellows, you know? if you want pure aesthetic follow my sideblog @shilohavenue
