I will forever die on the hill that they are doomed friendship and Delilah isn't outright evil cause that's boring as hell <3 Also shoutout to @the-meme-monarch you're like half of the reason I love them as much as I do

(Dandys World Red Rock) Some Vee and Dandy Lore

These two are going to be somewhat important to the AU, Dandy especially. I decided for a video game esque feel because I thought it would be fun.

Video is set in 1990, both are still teens in this point in the timeline.

Sorry if the script is missing some parts, it had to quickly be rewritten after our Arthur voice actor had to leave for something. Funny how fitting that is. Enjoy!

something funny abt a little before I realized and early into being aromantic is i fully recognized I didn't have crushes on real people. but I thought I had crushes on fictional (drawn) characters. yeah I think you can have crushes on fictional characters and still be aromantic. i thought i was. my thought at the time was "bc they're literally not real it doesn't count" (i had a much more black and white understanding of what being aromantic was(I was like 13 i think)) but anyway no i literally just thought they were cool and interesting. they were Just my favorite character

I’d imagine there’d be routine medical checkup on the toons (the mains a lot more, due to their value or smth)

But dandy would be the equivalent to that one kid that constantly skips school because he has to get a billion millions shots (maybe something to do with the twisted stuff?? Either a stimulant to it or a suppressor)

While you didn’t get your cartoon debut, you still made quite the splash at Gardenview, but you couldn’t really enjoy your time back then thanks to Delilah Keen.

I understand that you tend to get a little attached whenever you bring the Toons to life, but the attachment you’re showing with the latest one is..not normal, to say the least. Could you make sure that the Toon gets to interact with the visitors and other Toons too? I’d hate for them to be isolated.”

Unfortunately, Arthur’s wish fell on deaf ears, as Delilah lifted you up in her arms. You were a little confused as to why she just..stared at you for a period of time, but if that was her prerogative…

She knew that you’d be favored by the visitors and Toons, you just had that aura to you that she hadn’t felt from her previous creations…

And she couldn’t allow it…

You rarely get to walk far into the center before Delilah held your hand and led you right back to her side as she was handling things.

Even when you were allowed to interact with visitors and fellow Toons, you were always supervised in the distance by Delilah.

When she wasn’t able to watch over you, she’d just keep you in her office. She leaves you snacks and things to do, but you were not to leave the room.

Delilah was on edge whenever you were mentioned, any matters regarding you was to be forwarded to her ASAP. Anything she says about/for you was final, she knew what was best for you…

The other Toons would make the occasional humorous remark that you were “her favorite”. That..made you more afraid than happy..

Nowadays, you were glad to have freedom at least with the other Toons, but you still felt that shiver down your back. As if Delilah was still out there somewhere, watching over you…

“Don’t worry about it, they’re still trying to adjust to the center. I’m only helping them with the process. I don’t want them possibly getting hurt, so they’ll be secured in my office when I’m elsewhere.
