closed starter for @coreofgold (Yennefer x Dandelion)
"I would love to meet whoever is making all this happen here in Washington. They must hold incredible power." Yennefer took a sip of her drink and looked over at her friend. "Also Geralt has no memories, still. So that is fun. Not sure he'd appreciate me poking around in his mind either to find them."

closed starter for @coreofgold (Iorveth x Dandelion)
"Dandelion?" Iorveth knew the other, he kept him at arms length like everyone else back home but didn't hate him. As far as Dh'oine went Dandelion was annoying but harmless. "I didn't realize you were here?" The elf sighed. He still wore his bandana over his damaged eye and slightly covering his scaring.

closed starter for @coreofgold (Yennefer x Dandelion)
"Alright I need a night out. Just you and me." Yennefer stepped out of her room, putting her earrings in. She was dressed in her signature black with black heels and hair hanging loosely over her shoulders. "No work, no men. No Geralt. Deal?"

HWEVENT18 closed starter for @coreofgold (Dandelion x Yennefer)
"You remember I found you in a tavern just like this when I didn't have my chaos." A little chuckle left her as she glanced around the tavern then back at him. "So are you going to give us a ballad of your heroic tales, dear?" She teased lightly.

"And it wouldn't be me if I didn't give you a little hex." A little chuckle left her. The magic still dancing around her fingers. "Ill timed is one term for it, love." She teased him lightly.
"Put your beautifully slender hand down please. You know it wouldn't be me if I didn't tease or make. . .slightly ill-timed jokes." Dandelion wasn't worried; Not anymore at least.

"No it is not." Yennefer agreed while keeping a smile on her sharp features. She was glad they had gotten to a point where their winding each other up had become fun, a way of showing affection and not out of spite. If Ciri didn't have her memories she could be in a lot of danger. She couldn't let her be in danger. "There is a little wine bar not far, more classy and elegant." She wasn't keen on going anywhere dirty. She still had certain tastes.
"Oof, you being wound up is never good." Dandelion's not afraid to admit it. He feels they're close enough to do jabs like this. They've done it before they even liked each other. Though, he feels this time, she's worried due to Ciri. He has enough preservation to not say that when she needs to relax, but it's a feeling. "Where are we heading first?" He asks, letting himself be dragged around.

"Unless it's a few people. Sharing the burden?" Yennefer thought for a moment. It was hard to even think about who might be strong enough to do this. Time, creatures... The list went on. "Me too. They say he took a spear to the face and still didn't die. Northerns might say like a roach. I say he needed to survive. So he did. I suppose only he knows." Having never met the elf, there was no way of knowing.
"I'd like to see what their consequences are, because right now I don't think anything consequentially is happening." Maybe the consequences would make Dandelion happy. It'll certainly be amusing. "They're definitely a rough sort. . .I do feel bad for them. They're just doing what they can to protect their race." He doesn't want to get capture by them again, but he's not going to call them out either.

"People with magic who do it just for fun cannot understand the balance of it. The give and take. Everything has its consequences." Yennefer thought for a moment. She had learned the hard way about balance. "I'm not sure that'll be an option dear." She laughed a little. "Not really spoken to him. Scoia'teal are interesting individuals. I have heard of him before back home." As a quarter elf she didn't hate them. Was just aware of their ruthlessness.
"My theory? Maybe both." Dandelion has been thinking about. "Depending on their mood at least." He nods. He wishes that too. "Yeah, I do too. And I want to get back before Valdo Marx has his grubby paws on my stage." Needed to add a little humor before it got bad. "Think I met him once." He's sure he did at least. Jaskier meets a lot of people

Iorveth didn't mind Dandelion. One of the few dh'oine that didn't drive him up the wall and he didn't pose much of a threat to Iorveth or the Scoia'teal. "Make sense. Time does seem to work strangely here." He nodded slowly. He did wonder what was happening at home. "I suppose our paths would cross at some point. It is good to see you, Dandelion. That you seem to be doing well." Iorveth, despite his reputation back home, was not a monster. He was once a very gentle soul.
"Yep! That m-Iorveth!" Dandelion was shocked the other wanted to speak to him. Granted, he gets it. The other keeps a lot of people at arm's length, especially with Dandelion being human and all. Not that race mattered much to Dandelion anymore. He's a lover of all. "Yeah! I've been here for. . ." He blew air out at that. "A while. I lost count after months to be honest."

"Back again. Though it is nice to not be in hiding. Like home but with no one hunting us. I do wish Ciri were here to enjoy this." She looked around. "She'd love this. She could be free." Yennefer would always worry about her like a daughter. "Oh come on, dear Dandelion. Surely you can conjure up some lyric." She took a sip of her wine.
"I did." How can Dandelion forget? "Now look at us, back in a tavern." He looks around then back at her. "A ballad? Of course. Of my heroic tales? Not quite. Though it is a tale."

"I'd also like to know why. If it's sheer enjoyment, or malicious intent." Yennefer took another sip of her wine. "It was odd being back in our home era or similar at least. I am not sure how I felt about it. It was very mixed." She admitted. It was getting easier each day to open up to Dandelion. "I just wish to know that he was okay back home and Ciri. There is a Scoia'teal elf wandering about this city. Haven't met him but I've seen him."
Dandelion was leaning against the counter. "I'd love to meet them just to ask how much time they have on their hands to be throwing us around in different eras." Maybe they'd be ethereal, and he can bewitch them with his songs. "Of course he doesn't have them back. Why would things be simple like that?"
