O livro contém a primeira trilogia do autor e é a porta de entrada para um universo completo, daqueles que os leitores lembram o nome e se pegam divagando sobre como seria estar lá.

Acompanhamos Paul, um jovem de 15 anos que passa por muitas desolações após chegar à Arrakis. Envolto de armações que datam milhões de anos e um ambiente de guildas, o jovem tem que crescer e seguir seu destino em um cenário perigoso e cheio de suposições, onde a água é o bem mais valioso do Planeta e, a água do corpo, o sangue, pode ser facilmente tomada. Em Arrakis, enfrentam traições, vermes de areia, conflitos políticos e interações complexas.

Os personagens são profundos e cheios de personalidade, são únicos! A família Atreides dá um show de comunicação e influência por todos os três livros. O autor nos faz acompanhar esses grandes líderes, assim como traz decisões complexas e interessantes que embriagam o leitor em meio a narrativa, não dá para ficar entediada com essa leitura!

O ratinho que pula do deserto é o meu mais novo crush literário favorito, o Dancan também. A relação que o Paul tem com a Chani, não tem uma relação, romântica ou não, mal desenvolvida.

Minha experiência foi com audiolivro, em alguns momentos a narração em si era um saco, mas a partir do segundo livro passou a melhorar, ter mais "interpretação" do que apenas uma leitura. Uma coisa irritante, tem muitos "rÓstos" na narração. 🙄

Huh. Dancan looks a lot better than the last time I saw it back in Ultraseven. Most likely a remake and a remodel to the costume of Dancan perhaps? Most likely so. But still, Dancan looks a lot better this year. If they were to make extra time in Ultraman Z and show Dancan, maybe they'd show the same Dancan like this one in Sevenger Fight Episode 4.... sighs..... if only they extended more time for the unseen kaijus though. But still, let's accept that fact that Dancan looks better today. So, yay~~~
