Don’t apologize for the asks. Keep sending them in. Criticism of television shows fuels me up so much! I turn 25 on Sunday, so I have this thing when I watch television shows, like ooh, maybe I’m just older and crazy for nitpicking and being offended by jokes and taking things too seriously. 

BUT, then I see everyone else saying the same exact things I’m saying and I feel a lot less delusional. You’re watching it and making me relive all of those episodes and the jokes that made me so grossed out over the years of watching HD.

Like, I said with mychenrymadness, I love what this show could’ve been if it were done right. Except it was a typical Dan Schieder original with really gross jokes, an interesting premise, but a swing and miss in the writer’s room and creative department.

The banana joke from License to Fly made me so mad the first time. And Ray and Henry wanting to pray on those cheerleaders at the end? Ew. Plus, you’re gonna see it as you keep watching but the Henry and Ray jokes get worse and I can’t even imagine what compelled them to keep that up for a bit before they fell off. 

And omg, I actually saw part of that episode from the animated series. I’ve barely watched any of it since it’s so cringe, but when I’d catch glimpses of it, I’d see stuff like that and just leave. Like, how can you think spritzing a teenage girl in the face because she’s sharing her rightful opinion is funny?! I’m so happy that the animated series wasn’t renewed for another season because I can’t imagine what the jokes would be like now. Especially with how they treated Charlotte towards the end. Ugh.

Pozivamo srpske vlasti da prestanu da negiraju genocid u Srebrenici i veličaju osuđene ratne zločince, jer je to protivno svim evropskim i univerzalnim vrednostima osnovnih i ljudskih prava. Honestly I don’t think Totally Spies actually had any fetish stuff to it, it was just that the regular funny to kids scenarios became fetishes to some when they grew up.
