Hahahah I'm trying to stay up to 11pm so I can regulate my sleeping to normal hours. So i'm not up till 6am like always.

The TVD writers approach you and ask which you'd rather see play out: getting an amazing look at Damon's past (both human and vampire) and what he's gone through, but he ends the series alone; or DE as endgame but the audience never learns anything about what made him who he is today? ❄ :P

OH GOD THIS IS SO DIFFICULT. The Damon stan in me is saying YES YES CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND MAMA SALVATORE YES but the Damon stan in me is also saying BABY ALONE WITHOUT ELENA. And the DE fangirl in me is saying ENDGAME ENDGAME ENDGAME.

to be honest, I already have so many headcanons about Damon and his past that I think I'd choose DE endgame. The show would possibly ruin everything I've ever imagined about him. I could probably write a series of novels with the amount of headcanons I have to be perfectly honest :P I think I'd leave it like that, knowing that he would have Elena, they'd both be happy, and she could help him through his issues from the past. Very good but evil question :P

True, but Stefan saw Damon with whats-her name, the girl he sired?, and saw how they behaved, with the feeding. So Joseph’s death could have been the beginning of what Stefan see’s as Damons lack of caring for human life. needs further thought. Hmm.

Ohhh i see where youre coming from. Yeh Stefan could see it like that, hmm saddening though. To kinda give up on your brother like that. But I guess he didn't know everythign either. Stefan just thought Damon left because he didn't want to be together. *creys* "why don't you let people see the good in you"

Because he assumed Damon was being Damon and killed Joseph for no reason, and didn’t want to be anywhere near him.

But see this is before Damon was nohumanity!Damon. Stefan hasn't really seen that side of him. Of him being really bad. At least as far as my memory recalls. Damon was innocent/celibate for 50 years after turning and then met Sage and she showed him a different side of the world, one where he used seduction as a key. Then we had the WW2(?) flashback where Damon left Stefan because Lexi told him, Stefan couldn't handle Damon's lifestyle. But even then all he had done was feed and turn people. He didn't necessarily kill?
