I asked some friends yesterday if dali was silly enough to dress as a vampire for Halloween and imagined him in like a cheap spirit Halloween costume with fake plastic fangs and all, because he’s goofy like that
WAS KIDDING THOUGH

Dino Classico x reader
I started watching the anime today and I’m absolutely hooked<3 vampires really have my heart♡ I haven’t read the manga yet, but I hopefully didn’t make this OOC. This is quite short as I don’t know that much about Dino as a character yet. Requests for Delico’s Nursery is open<3 (do spam me;) )
Synopsis: You and Dino share different views on raising children.
Masterlist
Tumblr media
The dining hall was dimly lit. The heavy dark blue curtains were partially closed making small gaps of moonlight shine through the windows. The sound of the clinking sound of silverware filled the room. A dark mahogany dining table with silver details stood in the middle of the room. Both chair on each end side of the table were seated. Dino’s dark gold eyes stared into yours as he ate. His knife skilfully cut through the duck breast.
“How was your day dear?” you ask him as you take a deep sip of your wine glass.
The grey haired man scoffed. “Nothing too eventful. Working on the case. Theodore didn’t cause me any trouble. I don’t know what I would do if my child was as unruly as the others” his deep voice sounding bored as he recalled his day.
You nodded as you elegantly wiped your mouth on your napkin. You weren’t Theodore’s biological mother, but you treated him as he was your own. You loved him despite only knowing him for a year. “I hope you haven’t been too hard on him” your eyes found his. “He is still a child, Dino” your voice stern, but still filled with love for both your stepson and your husband.
The man before you sighed as he pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose. “I just do what is necessary in order to raise a proper son. I just do as what is expected of me as a nobleman” he answered.
You swallowed at his words. You understood his duties that followed his position, but you couldn’t help but feel bad for his poor child.
“Do you think he will turn into a good nobleman if you abandon him?” you couldn’t help the sharp age that followed your words.
“Abandon him? How have I abandoned him?” he barred his teeth in a sneer before he quickly regained his composure.
“Children need their parents. Is that not obvious?” you shook your head. “I am glad Sir Dali makes you raise him alongside his children. I think it will do both you and Theodore good.”
Dino reminded silent rest do the dinner. It was clear your words had somewhat affected the normally stern vampire. Out of all his wife’s, you were the one he loved the most. His love was cold, but passionate. Others had warned you before you took his hand that he was not the easiest to deal with, but you paid their warnings no mind as you knew your heart belonged to him.
As you walked back to your chambers later that evening you became determined that you would help and enforce the bond between father and son. Because maybe your dream about a normal relationship between you three could be reality.

having become slightly obsessed with delico's nursery, I had to at least try to read the manga (and just you wait til I find those stage plays). anyways I have things to say
first off: this is the downgrade of the century
Tumblr media Tumblr media
shortening a man's long hair should be illegal. also how do you go from "sad precious baby" to "I look like a middle aged salaryman at age 16". why
Tumblr media
Angelico may be a massive cunt, but at least he's still pretty so I forgive him. knowing his father, I understand where he got this attitude, but to be completely honest? Gerhard is cute. Angelico just pisses me off.
Tumblr media
Dali is still serving, I love him. also good to know he finally learnt to use his servants but what the fuck dude.
and finally: I can't resist these. I know everyone and their mother has made this joke but these panels are so silly out of context

Since delico's nursery requests are acceptable, could I request Gerhard Fra with a s/o who was once a knight?
Tumblr media
-----------------------------------------------------------------
“Where are you going?”
“I don’t know Gerhard,” they respond to him, “they haven’t told me.”
“Well, when will you be back?” He insisted.
“I don’t know Gerhard.” They repeat again. It was the same conversation they had been having since yesterday. One [Y/N] was clearly getting frustrated with.
Gerhard grumbled and crossed his arms, looking away from them buttoning their lapel.
Their relationship, or liaison, had been going on for a while. One kept in secret due to the alleged impropriety of a knight and a noble fraternizing together. Mere friendship between them was enough to cause scandal, much less what they did together in these stolen moments.
“Please be careful.” Gerhard told them sternly. Uncrossing his arms and softening his expression just a little. “There are mad men out there.”
“There are mad men everywhere Gerhard.” They told him. Turn around to stand in front of him now instead of the mirror. Looking at him with an expression of seriousness mixed with cheek. “These ones just have knives.”
The noble growled. Why did he have to be in love with someone so infuriating? Was it some sick need he had to further suffer? A masochist streak in his soul he did not know he had until they came into it?
“I mean it, [Y/N]. You must be careful. There have already been too many lost to these brigands. If you….” His voice trailed off. He could not say it. Though Gerhard tried, he could not put into words what losing them would mean to him; nor overcome his education as a noble that overly expressing one’s emotions was for the common.
But, [Y/N] just smiled and cupped his cheek. “I know. But, you needn’t worry about me. I didn’t get my status as a knight for my good looks you know.” They grin, but Gerhard for once isn’t comforted by it. “I’ll be fine and back in a flash. You won’t even have time to miss me with everything going on.”
“You will write to me when you get back then?”
“You’ll be my first letter back.”
Gerhard’s lips tweak up a little before they fall again as they let him go. Saddened that they were leaving. Worried what might happen when they are gone. Anxious on when he might see them again.
“Would you…come to the Delico estate perhaps? After your return?”
[Y/N] paused their exit and turned to look over their shoulder then. “I could? If Dali is alright with it.” Gerhard could not think of a reason why he wouldn’t be. He had always been a ‘the more the merrier’ sort. Another thing he was envious of the other man for. “I won’t interrupt the investigation?”
“Hardly.” He told them. “Plus you can give an up to date report on comings from the field. And…I would like you to meet my son.”
[Y/N]’s expression quickly morphed from one of ambivalence to shock. “You…want me to meet your son?”
The implication of such a meeting was palpable. No more secrets. No more hiding. To be introduced to his son, the Fra heir, along with his colleagues would mean that they were no longer in a liaison. They were in a relationship. Courting, even.
“Angelico is a good boy; I have come to realize.” Gerhard was ashamed how little he knew of his son until now. Though he still thought this idea of Dali’s was ridiculous, he could not deny that seeing his son every day, more than just the brief encounters before he was shunted off to bed or some other room in his manor, had left him much changed. “I would…like you to meet him. I think he would like you.”
“I would like to meet him too.” [Y/N] confessed. Their cheeks flushed. “I um….yes. I’ll come to Dali’s once I get back.”
Gerhard smirked triumphantly at [Y/N]’s reaction. To have them for once be the nervous one, the one-off center, was liberating.
He stepped over to meet [Y/N] and took their chin in his gloved hand to give them a kiss. “So, you must be careful then. I will not have Angelico disappointed by your failings.”
[Y/N] chuckled. Then leaned up to give him a second peck before he let them go. “Of course, we must not disappoint the master and young prince of House Fra.” Gerhard growled. Only this time not in frustration. “I have to go, lest I be late for the rendezvous, but I will write to you as soon as I return.”
They left, and Gerhard watched them go before he too made his exit. He would return to the Delico estate later. Back to his work on the case and his duties for Vlad. He looked at his son while Dino spoke on some obscure note of something, and wondered if he would actually like [Y/N] if he met them. Time would only tell, he supposed.

The Fra house was hosting it's annual party. It was a tradition in the Fall for the house to have a gathering for close friends and family to come together before the colder weather come. You had just placed your infant son, Angelico, to sleep. While the Fra house had maids and nurses to tend to the baby, he found your 'Do-it-yourself-' Attitude a bit of a pain as you could spend it getting more ravishing than usual. Armed with your glasses on and curly hair up in a simple yet elegant style.
You wore a rich red and black dress, the colors of the House of Fra, and your spicy cardamom perfume that he knew you liked, it was his favorite too. When you descended the stairs to greet your guests, he left you to your own devices, confident that you were safe with your three younger sisters that came. Dali and Frida came as expected, and he congratulated Frida on her pregnancy. The night progressed where one aristocrat had perhaps gotten a bit too drunk and his gaze was targeted at the Lady Fra.
"Lucky bastard to have a pretty thing...I'd keep you warm in bed" Was what caught Gerhards attention as he turned and soon found you in front, keeping your sister from the lecherous words and gaze of the man. Excusing himself, Dali even followed to try and help his wife and sisters. "Sir, perhaps it is time for you to retire-" You replied as the sight of your husband and Dali was relief. The drunken man placed his hand on your waist as he slurred "Pretty Tits on you, maybe you sho' follow me." And that was enough to cause Gerhard to placed a firm gloved hand on his shoulder, pulling him off as to place himself between you, your sisters and him.
"You insult the lady of the house! I will personally see you out!" Gerhard replied as guards came to pull the man out as Gerhard took you to a private room of the library to speak. "Are you alright, my love?" He asked as he held onto your cheek. He could tell your nerves were rattled as he was close but also kept space incase you needed it, but you were close to him as his presence was security enough to regain your composure. "I'm fine, Gerhard... I've never been treated like that or spoken like that before...It surprised me more than anything. "You replied as the Gerhard then adds "You should have called me over sooner instead of trying to solve it. Drunken fools won't listen to pretty women, especially women of the house." He lightly scolded, causing you to pout where he then gave a huff.
He hated when you were stubborn and so he decided to make a point by pinning you against the books, the force enough to knock one or two books out as he then said "If I were lesser than, I'd thought you were looking for the attention" He replied. Before you could comment, you soon felt a his breath close to your pulse point. "Gerhard, what're you-!?" You were paused when he bit but didn't drink. You were a vampire, the bite means nothing other than territorial mark. "There....A reminder to the other drunken fools that you are mine and of the Fra. Do remember this" He replied as he cupped your chin, looking up at his wine red eyes.
You couldn't speak as you just sighed and nodded. The rich men often ignored women so it was his way of assuring his scent and mark kept you safe from the others who'd get the same idea. You placed your hand on the mark, feeling softly where Gerhard parted to then say "Shall I end the party or continue?"
Your word was law as the women run the house. You shook your head as you went over, holding onto his arm. "No, we should continue. I'd hate the Fra house to be seen as lesser cause of some drunk. I'll see my sisters off and return to you" You replied as Gerhard smiled as he's glad you got the point he was trying to make.
"Good....A proper aristocrat's wife you are."

Delico's Nursery And A Touch Of Forgiveness
Little one-shot because ... why not? You can give this story a read or a Kudos on AO3 as well!
.
Rating: General Audience Pair: Dali Delico/Gerhard Fra No warnings needed.
Tumblr media
.
Screams filled the room. Lamentable, bitter wailing not meant for the ears of a man of his status. Crying of a child he usually shoved into the arms of the nanny before attending to the important matters of life. The really important ones.
The ones that had got him into all this in the first place.
Gerhard narrowed his eyes briefly before raising his voice. “Now shut up already! Don’t you realise you’re a nuisance?”
And as expected, the crying subsided for a breath before it tripled in volume and ripped through his marrow and bones. Ever since Raphael had taken away his toy, Angelico had been unable to calm down and whenever Gerhard raised his voice, his son’s wailing grew in volume and strength.
.
“What do I have to do to make you stop fussing?” Raising his arms, he stared down at Angelico’s blond mop of hair, but only heard the usual muddled sounds. It was unbelievable that this child was his and, above all, of noble birth.
Then again, he had never bothered with his son until now. After all, he had work to do and children were for the bloodline, not to spend the last of his mental resources. The others’ children were already packing up, ready to go home, and he was the only one still standing in the same spot, unable to get his son out of this terrible wailing.
With shaking fingers, Gerhard ran a hand over his face. If he could, he would rewind time and wipe Dali’s rejection of the mission away faster – long before he would drive them all into this hell of a mess. Better yet, he’d rewind to the day before and come up with a war plan against this idiot at breakfast.
“Daddy...”
Angelico’s drawn-out whimper snapped him out of his thoughts, so he opened his mouth again, ready to issue more orders as he looked into the red, watery eyes staring at him like he was the only help in this room. Just like back then. Just like the day he’d thought the only solution was to go solo against suspected TRUMP-members just to kill Dali’s wife.
He gently placed a hand on his son’s soft mop of hair. Angelico’s crying stopped immediately, bringing with it a silence that dragged Gerhard into the abyss.
He remembered what had happened as if it had occurred only yesterday. It was one of those endless dreams haunting him on some nights. In a matter of seconds, he relived it all. The moment he had broken into the house and seen this woman, beautiful as ever, ready to taste his blade without offering resistance. Somewhere in between, he thought he remembered fire. And bloodstained floors. And the numb feeling in his entire body, knowing he’d lose Dali for good that way.
Had he felt relief then? Had the knowledge he might no longer be working so closely with Delico made him happy?
He pressed his lips together. Back then, when he had turned to Dali, who had appeared and stormed over to his wife, he had only watched out of the corner of his eye – his posture upright and unwavering, hoping Dali would recognise him as an enemy. Just for a moment, so that the shallow feeling of affection would burst before it grew. But Dali hadn’t looked at him that day. His gaze had wandered to his children, then back to his wife, and before Gerhard knew it, the incident had ended and Dali hadn’t exchanged a single word with him.
In all that time, not a single thing had been said about the incident between them and yet he had brought it up today, out of heat from a stupid argument he had lost. Somehow. Dali’s rejection had been clear and yet his warm breath had sent tingles all over Gerhard’s body.
A sigh escaped him. “Let’s go, Angelico.”
“But... my toy...” Round cheeks puffed out, his son’s gaze pierced him unyieldingly. But looking for a child’s toy was anything but fitting for a nobleman. Or a man in general.
“I’ll buy you a new one on the way home.”
“But I want this one!”
“What difference does it make?” His voice rose. “It’s just a piece of wood.”
He should have seen it coming. He should have known better after all the other defeats between him and his son. But as the tears welled up again and Angelico drew in his breath, Gerhard felt a desperate twitching in his bones. Should he raise his hands and press them to his ears to at least muffle the screeching that was about to follow?
His body succumbed to indecision and just as he was thinking about offering Angelico something else, Dali appeared behind him. His shoulder pressed against Gerhard’s and the shudder running through his body made him swallow. Simultaneously, he heard Dali’s voice much too close to his ear. “Look what I’ve got!”
Before Angelico could burst into tears again, Dali brought a gleam to his eyes with his toy, which even Gerhard found strangely warming. Affection settled in his chest and didn’t disappear even when he looked into his friend’s endlessly dark eyes.
Part of Gerhard opened his mouth silently, unable to find words. The way Dali treated the children, the way he stopped them from screaming and how much warmth and amusement there was in his actions – was it wrong to want all that for himself? The rest of him knew better, feeling the hot pinpricks in his chest and flooding the inner torment with angry behaviour and a raised nose.
“I hope you’ll fulfil the mission properly!” Gerhard stubbornly tried to look down at him – to no avail. “We can’t afford to half-ass things!”
“I’m sure that won’t be a problem.” Elated, Dali took a step forward, handed Angelico his toy and took a quick look at the baby in his arms. “It’s just another challenge for me to master. I’m much more interested in whether you and the others are up to the task.” A grin formed on his thin lips. “Child raising is a fascinating field once you get the chance to get into it.”
Dali hated him. He certainly did. After everything that had happened, it seemed impossible to believe otherwise. It had been Gerhard who had put him in this position. It had been he who had deprived this family of a mother. The certainty turned his stomach.
“You loathe me, don’t you?” Clenching his hands into fists, Gerhard addressed the subject again. If they were going to work together on this mission, they needed to have a clear conversation. A few words that would bury any feelings of attraction in him so they could get on with their lives. So he could go on with his life.
“I already told you that you did me a favour. Now I get to take care of my kids-“
“Stop with that crap!” His voice grew louder as his gaze fixed on Dali. “You loathe me for what happened. For killing your wife. Go ahead and say it!”
“You seem to like dwelling on old things.”
“It was just a few months ago!”
The sudden tug on Gerhard’s trouser leg barely reached his awareness, but the whimper drew his gaze to Angelico. “Daddy ... don’t be angry...”
“Well said, Angelico!” Cheerfully, Dali gave the child a wink. “Your son already seems to be smarter than you.”
“Wha-“
“Be quiet.” In defence, Dali raised his free hand. “Sure, I could say I loathe you for what you did, but if I’m honest ... I’m over it. I know this day has been as hard on you as it has been on me, and instead of obsessing over my loss, it’s better to look at the positives of it all.”
“The ... positives?” The knot in Gerhard’s stomach tightened further. If Dali didn’t hate him, if he didn’t get a chance to carry this guilt heavily on his shoulders, he would succumb to this warmth in his chest. “What nonsensical talk.”
“Certainly, if you get hung up on ancient mannerisms and define your pride by your raised nose ... you’re undoubtedly right up there.” A confident nod came over Dali and Gerhard couldn’t deny the temptation of a hug was as strong as the desire to put his hands around this weirdo’s neck. “But I mean what I said. What happened ... it was hard ... for both of us. But it’s also given me something good. I get the chance here and now to experience my children completely differently than many other families do. I feel like I can be a real father, where I’m always there for them and don’t send them away just because their crying sometimes makes my head explode.”
“And you think I buy that?” Gerhard’s voice shook, wavering between anger and despair. Emotions he wasn’t allowed to indulge in. One of them would make Angelico cry. The other would make Dali laugh. Perhaps. Probably.
“You can do that, or you can not.” With a shrug, Dali let out a sigh. Then he smiled, almost mockingly, before grabbing a strand of Gerhard’s hair and bringing it to his lips. The shallow kiss he pressed on the blonde hair flashed through his whole body. “I’m sure you’ll realise that yourself one day, Goldilocks.”
Without further ado, Dali took two steps back as Gerhard’s hair ran through his fingers and the world stopped for a moment. Saliva pooled in the blond’s mouth, running dry down his throat as his heart pounded violently against his ribs. Heat built up in his body, but didn’t reach his face. His every fibre seemed stiff, clinging to an unimpressed expression, hoping his friend wouldn’t notice.
Not the gentle trembling of his hands, nor the convulsive posture, which no longer seemed aristocratic, but childish and awkward. Gerhard could imagine how he must have looked in Dali’s eyes in those breaths and yet, when his friend turned away from him – were they even friends? – he dared to raise a hand. Only briefly, before he lowered it again and glanced at Angelico, who was still hanging on to his trousers.
Maybe, for one day, this feeling was okay. If he believed Dali’s words just a little, just this once, then he would sleep better this night – lulled by the warmth in his heart. Surely, somewhere between here and his own home, he would realise that all this was nothing more than an illusion. A fragile concept that would fade when he looked into his wife’s face – as he did every day – and realised she wasn’t Dali.
And then, at the latest, he would come to his senses, get upset about this idiot, have dinner and go to bed, only to return the next day, believing he wouldn’t succumb to his heart again.
He knew how it would end.
The result was always the same.

In the heart of Victorian London, amidst the fog-draped streets and gas-lit alleys, stood an imposing manor. It was home to two vampires, Dali and Gerhard. The manor, with its grandiose architecture and lush gardens, was a stark contrast to the bustling city outside its gates. Inside, it was a haven of quiet elegance, adorned with rich tapestries, antique furniture, and flickering candlelight....well normally but today was a exception.
Dali, with his piercing green eyes and raven-black hair, was usually the epitome of strength and grace. However, tonight, he lay on a lavish velvet sofa, wrapped in a blanket, looking decidedly less formidable. His pale skin was even paler than usual, and his normally sharp features were softened by the weariness of illness. He had caught a cold, a rare and inconvenient affliction for a vampire.
Gerhard, his partner of many centuries, hovered nearby with a worried expression. His blond hair was neatly tied back, and his tanned eyes reflected his concern. Gerhard was the more impulsive of the two, always ready to tell off Dali, especially in moments like these.
"Dali, you need to rest," Gerhard said gently, placing a cool hand on Dali's forehead. "Your body needs time to recover."
Dali coughed softly, looking up at Gerhard with a mixture of frustration and gratitude. "I know, Gerhard. It's just... so inconvenient," he admitted, his voice slightly hoarse.
Gerhard smiled softly, brushing a strand of hair away from Dali's face. "Even vampires need to rest.”
Dali reclined on the plush velvet sofa, sipping the herbal tea that Gerhard had prepared a few hours before. The warmth of the tea soothed his throat and offered a brief respite from his symptoms. However, a stubborn tickle remained in his nose, threatening to bring on another sneeze.
Gerhard watched Dali closely, noticing the subtle signs of discomfort. "Are you alright?" he asked gently, his voice filled with concern.
Dali nodded, but his nose twitched, and his breath hitched slightly. "I think I have another sneeze coming," he admitted, though his voice was tense with the effort of trying to hold it back. "But it won't come out."
Gerhard moved closer, his hand resting reassuringly on Dali's arm. "It's alright. Just relax and let it happen," he said soothingly.
Dali closed his eyes, trying to focus on the sensation in his nose. The tickle was persistent, yet the sneeze remained frustratingly stuck. He took a few deep breaths, hoping to coax it out. "Heh... heh..."
Gerhard gently rubbed Dali's back, offering comfort. "Bless you, in advance," he whispered, a small smile playing at his lips.
Dali's breath continued to hitch, his nostrils flaring slightly. "Heh... heh... ah..." But still, the sneeze refused to come. He opened his eyes, looking at Gerhard with a mixture of frustration and amusement. "This is so annoying."
Gerhard chuckled softly, still rubbing Dali's back. "I cannot watch this," he indicated. "Hold still." He grabbed a silken handkerchief from the lavish table in front of them and held it to the twitching man's nose rubbing it gently.
Dali looked shocked but soon his expression changed. He focused on the feeling of the cloth against his nose, feeling the tickle in his nose intensifies. "Heh... heh... Hh’KZZHhshew! Hh’Tszchiiiew! HIH’TSHHEW!!" The sneeze finally erupted, shaking his frame. Gerhard could feel the spray through his handkerchief before tending to the other dripping nose.
"Bless you," Gerhard said warmly, his hand still resting on Dali's back. "Feel better?"
Dali sighed in relief, a small smile on his lips. "Yes, thank you," he said, his voice softer now. "That was driving me crazy."
Gerhard chuckled and pressed a gentle kiss to Dali's temple. "I'm glad you feel better. Now, how about we get you back under the blankets and rest some more?"
Dali nodded, feeling a wave of gratitude for Gerhard's care. "All right." He agreed, allowing Gerhard to help him settle back onto the sofa with the blanket wrapped snugly around him.
-----
As the dawn painted the sky with soft hues of pink and orange, Dali stirred from his rest, feeling slightly better yet still under the weather. Determined not to appear weak, he tried to mask his discomfort from Gerhard.
Gerhard, ever attentive, noticed the subtle signs: the slight pallor in Dali's cheeks, the faint rasp in his voice, and the occasional, barely suppressed sniffle. But Dali, stubborn as always, refused to admit he was still feeling ill.
"Gerhard, I really think I'm fine now," Dali said, attempting to sound convincing. "You don't need to fuss over me anymore."
Gerhard raised an eyebrow, a knowing look in his brown eyes. "Dali, you don't have to pretend for my sake. I can tell you're still not well."
Dali forced a smile, trying to appear nonchalant. "I'm perfectly fine, Gerhard. See?" He stood up, but the movement triggered a tickle in his nose. He turned away quickly, trying to stifle the sneeze. "Hh’KZZHhshew! Hh’Tszchiiiew! HIH’TSHHEW!" Despite his best efforts, the large sneeze escaped and he was left to deal with the mess.
Gerhard sighed softly, moving to Dali's side. "Bless you, Dali," he said, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder. "You are sick, forget about the investigation. Besides one sneeze would surely scare the children."
Dali's stubborn pride kept him from admitting the truth. "It's just a little sneeze," he insisted, though his voice wavered slightly. "I can handle it."
“Little sneeze, oh really?! If I wasn’t holding you I am sure you would fall.”
Dali tried to rebuttal the tickle in his nose became more persistent, and he struggled to hold back another sneeze. "Heh... heh... Hh’KZZHhshew! Hh’Tszchiiiew! HIH’TSHHEW! He sneezed again, each one shaking his frame. His nose was surly red and itchy but he would like true vampire eat a basket of garlic before he ever admitted that.
Gerhard looked at him with a mix of concern and affection. "Dali, please," he said. "I know you're strong, but if those sneezes are anything judged by this is going to be a bad cold. Let me help you. The last thing you want is the kids to get sick."
Dali finally sighed, his shoulders slumping in defeat. "Alright, Gerhard. You win. Maybe I do need a bit more rest," he admitted, his voice softer now.
Gerhard smiled, guiding Dali back to the sofa. "Thank you for admitting it," he said warmly. "Now, lie back and relax. I'll make you some more tea."
As the soft glow of the fireplace illuminated the room, Gerhard continued to care for Dali, making sure he was as comfortable as possible. Dali, finally allowing himself to relax, felt the cool cloth soothing his fevered skin.
However, the persistent tickle in Dali's nose made it difficult for him to rest. His breath hitched once more, and despite his best efforts to hold it back, another sneeze erupted. " Hh’KZZHhshew! Hh’Tszchiiiew! HIH’TSHHEW!!"
Gerhard, ever attentive, quickly moved to wipe Dali's nose with a fresh handkerchief. "Bless you, Dali, goodness those should come with a warning," he said, a smile on his face. Dali's breath began to hitch again, signaling another impending sneeze. He reached for his handkerchief, but to his dismay, it wasn't where he thought it would be. His eyes widened in mild panic as the urge to sneeze grew stronger.
"Gerhard, I—ah... heh... can't find my handkerchief," Dali managed to say, his voice strained as he tried to hold back the sneeze.
Gerhard, ever attentive, quickly realized the predicament. Without hesitation, he moved closer, his gentle touch reassuring. "Hold on, Dali," he said softly, taking charge of the situation.
Just as Dali's breath hitched one final time, Gerhard brought his own handkerchief to Dali's nose, covering it just in time. "Heh... Hh’KZZHhshew! Hh’Tszchiiiew! Heh…HIH’TSHHEW!!" Dali sneezed into the handkerchief, the force of the sneezes shaking him slightly. Gerhard could feel the cloth get drenched with spray from Dali, and from the way the other was snuffling, he knew he needed to blow. He turned the handkerchief over and held it over his nose. “Blow.”
Dali protested. “I am not a child, I can take care of my ow…own….Hhh… f-huuugck– hHHRRZZSCHHH’HUE!!.....Ahh- hahh..! hHZNGT’SHUE! Hh’IZZSCHh! hhheh’IZZSHhiew!”
“That was impressive, is your nose done throwing a temper tantrum?” Gerhard asked with a slight smile in his tone. Dali blushed and wiped his running nose with his sleeve. “I believe I am done for now. That was undignified.”
"Bless you," Gerhard said warmly, his voice filled with compassion. He kept the handkerchief in place until he was sure Dali was done sneezing, then gently wiped Dali's nose. The poor thing looked so red and itchy. And Gerhard knew this cold was a bad one.
As they lay there, the warmth of the fire and their closeness offered a soothing comfort. Dali closed his eyes, feeling the heavy weight of exhaustion start to lift as he relaxed into Gerhard's embrace. The night outside remained shrouded in fog, but inside the manor, there was a palpable sense of peace and love.
Just as Dali began to drift off, the persistent tickle in his nose returned. He tried to ignore it, not wanting to worry Gerhard. "Heh... heh..." His breath hitched, and he desperately tried to hold back the sneeze, hoping it would pass.
Gerhard, ever perceptive, noticed the struggle. "Let them happen sneezy head!" he posed smirking, his hand still resting on Dali's arm.
Dali nodded, trying to convince himself as much as Gerhard. "I think—ah... Hh’KZZHhshew! Hh’Tszchiiiew!” he sneezed abruptly, unable to hold it back any longer.
"Bless you," Gerhard said warmly, his voice filled with compassion. He kept the handkerchief in place until Dali was done, then gently wiped Dali's nose. Despite the comfort, the persistent tickle in Dali's nose was growing more insistent, signaling an impending sneezing fit.
Dali's breath began to hitch, and he could feel the sneezes building up. "Heh... heh..." He tried to stifle them, but it was no use. The tickle was too strong.
Gerhard, ever attentive, quickly moved closer, handkerchief at the ready. "It's alright, Dali. Just let them out," he said gently, his voice filled with reassurance.
Dali's breath hitched again, and he couldn't hold back any longer. "Heh... HIH’TSHHEW!!! Heh... ah... HIH’TSHHEW… HIH’TSHHEW!" Each sneeze shook his frame, and Gerhard was there to catch them all with the handkerchief, he could feel the other's nose twitching under the fabric. "Bless you, Dali," Gerhard said warmly, his eyes filled with concern and affection. He kept the handkerchief in place, ensuring Dali's nose was covered.
Dali managed a weak smile between sneezes, grateful for Gerhard's care. "Th-thank you, Gerhard. I'm sorry... heh... HIH’TSHHEW!" Another sneeze escaped, and Dali sighed in frustration. "They're not stopping."
Gerhard rubbed Dali's back soothingly. "It's alright. Just let them out. I'll help you," he said, his voice calm and supportive.
Dali's breath hitched again, and he could feel a particularly stubborn sneeze building. "Heh... heh... ah..." He struggled, the sneeze stuck and refusing to come out.
Gerhard, noticing Dali's struggle, gently tilted Dali's head towards him and using his fingernail and rubs his angry septum. The light touch seemed to intensify the tickle in his nose, coaxing the stubborn sneeze out. "Heh... heh... ah... HIH’TSHHEW!" The sneeze finally escaped, bringing a sense of relief.
"Bless you," Gerhard repeated, his hand still holding the handkerchief to Dali's nose. "You're doing great. Just a few more I know they are so big, you can do it."
Dali nodded, his breath hitching once more. "Heh... hhUH-! HH!! hHEH-ESSCHHheuhww!!!" The sneezes came in rapid succession, each one caught by Gerhard with care.
After a few more sneezes, the fit finally subsided, leaving Dali exhausted but relieved.
Gerhard smiled warmly, brushing a strand of hair from Dali's forehead. "You're welcome, Dali. I'll always be here to take care of you," he said softly.

No one is doing it like Gerhard Fra from Delico's Nursery. No One.

Man killed Dali's wife which led to Dali rejecting investigating a serial murder case to be a stable parental figure for his kids.
And then Gerhard says this.

The new anime "Delico's Nursery" as of episode one is fascinating to me because: 1. how are they vampires???? you have dome zero worldbuilding establishing these guys drinking blood or having fangs or turning into bats or being afraid of turtles 2. how did any of these losers other than Dali get a woman pregnant? yes they're incredibly pretty but they are also giving off a palpable air of misogyny 3. why did you name the vampire god "trump" ? could there not be a better truncation of True of Vamp? I know "trump" means playing-cards / playing card suits in Japanese but uhhh. . . 4. why is old man head of the secret service vampire not forced to come to the nursery with his grandchildren? i demand oji equality in this cockamamie political intrigue meets hardboiled serial murder detective meets mpreg-coded child rearing scheme. 5. "You are gay because you love men ; I am gay because I hate women. We are not the same." -blonde vampire deuteragonist

This is my first request and I'm not sure how to do it but ever since Delico's Nursery came out I've been begging for someone to write about them and I've been wanting to read something about Gerhard and Angelico, maybe one where the reader is Angelico's mom and She tries to make Gerhard's attitude a little softer with Angelico, or where the reader spends a day with Angelico, anyway, if you read this, I appreciate it and you don't need to take the ideas here into account as long as you do something about them. I'm happy. Hahaha I don't know how to end that so I hope you're okay :)))

Gerhard Fra x reader
It’s kinda sad how I’m the only one who has written Delico’s Nursery fanfic here on Tumblr:,) we desperately need more fics!! (Let me know if anyone wanna be apart of my taglist).
Masterlist
Synopsis: you (Gerhard’s wife) try to change Gerhard’s behaviour towards his son.
Tumblr media
Your husband was a busy man who was as prideful as a lion. He prioritised his duties before his own son. You understood very well that his duties were important, but you saw yourself sick of his negligence of his three year old.
“Gerhard! Come here” you called out to your husband.
It didn’t take long before you heard his boots against the hardwood floors. A blond head picked in the door way. “What is it, [Name]?” his deep voice soft. He had always been so kind to you. It had surprised you at first how soft he was deep down.
“How was it at Dali’s? Did Angelico have fun?” you ask as you take a sip of your apple cinnamon tea.
The tall vampire huffed. “It was exhausting. I still don’t get why he thinks raising our children together why working on that case is a good idea”. He took a seat at the table. “I suppose he had fun… He behaved rather well.”
“That’s good. I trust that you spent some time with him and didn’t leave all the responsibility to Dali?” you rose your brow at him in a stern manner.
Gerhard swallowed as he leaned slightly back in his chair. “I played a little bit with him. But that is fitting for a nobleman.”
You sighed and rolled your eyes which earned a glare from the blond man. “Your role as a father is to spend time with your son.”
“He needs his father to be there for him. You will regret it when you’re older, you know. He is three years old for gods sake!” you raised your voice in frustration.
Gerhard remained silent after you finished your reprimand. He rubbed his forehead. “I get what you mean but-”
“No. You don’t get what I mean do you? If you did, you would already be spending time with Angelico” you were getting tired of his attitude and stubbornness.
His eyes found yours before he looked away. After staying silent for a moment he opened his mouth. “Okay fine, I will from now on out spend more time with Angelico.”
You pulled the corner of your lips up into a smile. “Good! I can promise you, it won’t take long before you find playing with him fun” you rose to your feet and rounded the table. You leaned down and kissed Gerhard softly on the lips. “You will turn out to be a wonderful dad. I’m sure of it.”
