Then you're probably the best business partner he's had in years. So intelligent, so prepared, and so strategic! You're perfect! Flawless in every way!

At first, he's just in it for the money. You're an advantage. He can definitely use you!

But then you started giving him more... attention. Ever since the day you met Dev, his son. He doesn't realize that though.

You, on the other hand, are worried as heck for Dev. The poor kid has Dale Dimmadome as his father! And he doesn't have another parent figure??

That man is a pain in the butt to work with. And with how often he is at his workplace or other places, it's easy to assume he's not very present.

Which is why you started talking to him more. You'd try to give him ideas about parenting and all that stuff, even showing him examples. Like acts of service! Or even just saying "good morning"!

"Good job today, Dale," you smile, patting him on the shoulder after an important meeting. He genuinely did a good job, surprisingly enough.

Dale gets the wrong message from everything you're doing. He starts getting flustered and feeling prouder of himself.

Needless to say, he couldn't get you off his mind for the next few weeks.

Stalking isn't new to him. He has an unnecessary amount of cameras for everyone in town. You, especially, have more cameras than the usual number.

Dale would spend hours upon hours just watching. He would even start studying you at one point. Try to dissect your natural intellectual brain.

After all, an extremely skilled agent is praising him? No one has given him this much attention! Not even his own father!

You make him so happy. He needs more!

So imagine your surprise when you show up to loads of gifts on your counter. Your jaw dropped, glancing at Dale, who's flashing you a cocky smirk.

You ignore it. What else can you do? This is probably his unique way of returning your good graces.

But... you unconsciously began avoiding him. Let's be real; it would be hard to act like nothing happened.

He started to see your smile less and less. It's frustating. How come when you're talking to others, your attention is full and easy??

If those others weren't such good opportunities, he would get rid of them in no time.

So, please, pay attention to him! Please!

You didn't like the gifts? Then he'll give you different ones! He'll give you anything you want!

[PLATONIC] oh no... i love this req... dev,,, our poor bb 😔 half bullet & half drabble!!

"We can't just leave him here," a foreign voice murmured, careful to try and not wake the kid. Unbeknownst to them, Dev could vaguely hear two voices under his floaty sleep.

"Eh, he should be fine," another familiar voice shrugged. His son's heart would have shattered hearing that if he were fully awake. "Now, follow me to the office—what are you doing?"

Warmth. Warmth has enveloped Dev's entire body. Your arms gently carried him, a hand cradling his head.

Dev couldn't avoid the sigh of relief leaving his lips. He unconsciously snuggled closer to you.

"...Where's his bedroom? That's where he should be sleeping." You can't believe Dale was about to leave his son on the couch. Not even sparing a blanket or a pillow. It's freezing in their living room.

A scoff left the man before he turned around. "Follow me then."

You pursed your lips as you trailed after him. Are you being too intrusive? Seeing Dev like that just reminded you of your childhood, when you'd wake up in your bedroom after sleeping somewhere random. Your hold on Dev subtly becomes more protective, which is nothing short of a welcome change for him.

When you carefully put him on the bed, his hand quickly shot up and grasped your sleeve. You and Dale exchanged looks before he personally separated Dev's hand from you.

The day after that, you visited their house again for important business, but Dev doesn't recognize who you are.

In fact, he despised you. He thought he was about to get bonding time with his dad again, but then you rang the doorbell and took him away.

Though... Dev was surprised to see you smile when you saw him. "Hello, Dev! We haven't officially met, but I'm your dad's business partner!"

You offered your hand. His dad is behind you. He took your hand for a shake, only for his sunglasses to drop halfway when his skin touched yours.

It definitely took you some time to gain his favor. And when you finally do, well... He's the sweetest boy you could have ever met.

That's right. Sweet. He'd offer you food and make sure you're comfortable in your stay at their home.

He just soaks in every second of your company whenever either you or him and his father would visit. Sometimes, he swears that he doesn't even need his father's attention anymore. It felt new... it felt like freedom, strangely.

Dev is a sassy one. Witty banter is something you'll always expect. Calling each other the wrong name is a thing now, apparently.

His father often sees the two of you bonding. He doesn't mind it, he doesn't exactly do anything.

Surprisingly, physical touch is one of his main love languages. He likes holding hands a lot and really likes it when you carry him.

The AU Pairs are barely used whenever you're around. They're mainly there for convenience, which is strange because Dev used to utilize them for everything.

But then, Dev finds you talking to someone else. He's clearly standing right in front of you. Why aren't you greeting him? Haven't you seen him yet?

You eventually turn, smiling when you see him. He wholeheartedly smiles back. "Dev! Hi! Make yourself comfortable, okay? I just gotta take care of things first."

... He isn't a priority?

If Peri's still here (rip), then he's obviously going to use his wishes as an advantage. Although he didn't even need to wish for your affection! No rules are limiting him! How lucky is he?!

Whatever he wishes for will likely backfire on him or you, and whether he chooses to learn a lesson from that or not is up to him. Peri will always try to support his godchild.

But... If there's no Peri... Dev starts to be more and more demanding. He's absolutely needy and won't stand if you reject his request.

At some point, he'd give you the silent treatment, his shades back up and everything, and you'll have to be one begging for forgiveness.

He certainly doesn't like the fights any more than you do, but he just... he needs you.

And he'd do anything for your attention.

"Let's try and make lemonade later, okay? I'll teach you how," you grinned, carefully patting his gel-filled head. "I promise."

"You better not forget," he quipped, excitement brimming through his very core. He has always wanted to do that with his dad, but now you're here! All the lacking years of quality time can be filled by you!

Hello anon!! As a canon & canon, this will be more of a discussion!

But you're right, honestly, Dev may as well be a platonic yandere by definition— I mean,, poor Peri was fr about to confetti 😭 The whole fairyworld in danger? Their lives were at risk?

and Dev did allat for his dad?? Or, at least, he's the source, the other reasons are his ego, power, and anger... which is very sad..

...arguably not even worth it in the end. He forgot everything he did :C

For the HCs though, it's shown that Dev would do anything his dad asks for. He seeks for any sort of validation from him and will follow his orders—except when it comes to his friends (Hazel hat moment).

He also prolly hates business as a whole. It's the very thing that keeps his dad busy. Literally obsessed with it. Heck, the whole taking-over-fairy-world thing even somehow managed to be about business.

I'm sure Dev is softer to his dad than anyone else tho. He doesn't really take out his frustrations at him. I did headcanons with the Reader but because they're an 'outsider', he's more prone to having emotional issues (demanding behavior).

i hope in season 2 dev gets happier even without the memories so I HOPE WE HAVE SEAOSN 2 PLEASSEE PLS PLSPL PSP LSPLS

Part 1[You're here!] — Part 2 — Part 3

Haven't seen Yandere!Peri anywhere here so I decided to make my own. Even so, it's not showing much here, but I wrote this with the idea of yandere in mind—ngl guys he's kinda platonic yandere here too but like it's also a lil canon? LOL IDK

Ever since Dev lost his memory from taking over the fairy world, Peri hasn't completely moved on from him yet. He is his first godkid, after all. It's hard to move on.

So, when Peri isn't with his family and friends, he resorts to jealously spying— err, normally and very confidently checking up on Dev.

He has never felt so desparate to talk to Dev again. The poor kid's been lonely; nothing changed. He was this close to speaking to him.

Then you came along.

When Dale found out about accidentally hiring Vicky from his son, he took it upon himself to actually check who's he hiring as trauma response. You seemed to be the perfect candidate. The first name that popped up! As long as you weren't named Vicky!

Peri watched closely when you greeted Dev with a sweet smile on your lips. He felt almost threatened, the same feeling when Irep stole his godkid from him.

But... so far, so good. You've been swiftly following Dev's every demand, not once losing your cool. You're patient with him.

However, Peri is not convinced. You're probably irritated with Dev with all your might, aren't you? He thinks that because he went through that emotional phase.

He really doesn't like the idea of Dev being secretly backstabbed by a person that isn't him.

The problem here is that you probably don't deserve to be Dev's caretaker.

So, Peri decides to pretend being a human and personally meet you. Just for extra measure.

It starts awkwardly. He tripped and fell in front of you when you were on your way to the Dimmadome house.

Peri panics. He tripped. In front. Of you. Not so good for first impressions, but he quickly justified it to see how you would react.

Which is why he can't help but be sort of disappointed when you helped him. Can't you be more evil? Your gentle hands supported him to stand up.

"Are you okay?" you ask. He completely freezes when he sees your oh-so-warm, concerned look.

The fairy begins to stumble on his words, cherry red dusted on his cheeks. What's wrong with him?! Calm down, calm down!

He gives you a half-hearted apology before running away, turning into his fairy form when he's out of your view.

Peri needs to learn more about you, he decided.

Why? He can't fully answer that yet... This is all for Dev, isn't it?
