Dalah : Death and the Flowers was a very interesting short series. It wasn't impossible to predict who the killer was, however what was compelling is how to unfold the mystery surrounding the murder of Ohm.

Everyone had good reasons to kill him and most people of the two families were truly despicable. It just shows how rich people care about trivial pursuits and never care about the hurt they can make as long as they maintain the right decorum and fortune.

However, I believe there wasn't just one monster. Ohm was a terrible human being (he deserved his fate and it even was too kind for him), but the other monster was his grandmother. She is a cold and ruthless woman who cares more about her name than anything else and it ruined her family. If she had been a more caring and nicer person maybe nothing would have happened.

Dalah's secret was interesting and you finally grasp what's going around in the last quarter of the series. I think they maybe should have given us more about her. I don't know what exactly: more flashbacks or more knowledge about her? Something was missing. I felt they gave it to us only in the end. That's when you could truly feel her sorrow.

I liked how the series could make you care about one character and you think they are redeemable, but 5 min after, you would change your mind again. Even those with good intentions were quite selfish. I think about Pam for example. She never really asked her girlfriend how she wanted to deal with this. She always acted first and then thought after.

I'm glad I knew most of the actors and actresses and it was interesting to see them play in this series. I think they did great. A special mention to Poon Mitpakdee. I didn't expect to see him and it was a role where he wasn't a nice person. It brings such a contract when you compare it with roles I've seen him play before. I think he has kind eyes that's why. Also Yaya Urassaya is so gorgeous in this series.

This is worth watching.
