The Great Trial
Just finished reading the great gatsby in English. When all of the main character of the great gatsby are all dead. Nick, Tom, Daisy, Jordan, ect they see they aren't in heaven or he'll they are in a court room. They all see the dead myrtle, wilson, and. Gatsby. They are in a trial to see if they should go to hell(lucifer) or stay in purgatory to work for heaven(An angel lawyer). Reveal what happened to everyone and gives them what they really deserved

Is there a Nick Carraway and Jay Gatsby fanfic that doesn't include all the stupid Daisy Drama. Like bitch no one cares that you love both men cause the whole reason I'm reading this is so Nick and Jay figure out they love each other. And I don't need Daisy getting in the way.

Should you read “The Great Gatsby?”
This fascinating book, “The Great Gatsby” written by F. Scott Fitzgerald is one of a kind.  You must read it, especially when you are interested in classic historical fiction books.
The Great Gatsby is narrated by Nick Carraway. He tells us the story of the wealthy, fabulous, loyal Jay Gatsby. The story starts with Nick introducing himself as the author of the book. Nick is different than all of his neighbours. Eventually he leaves his house to have dinner with his cousin Daisy and her husband Tom Buchanan. The story has a twist when Nick has met Gatsby and when he decides to introduce him to Daisy, on Gatsby’s request. Gatsby and Daisy are lovers from before Gatsby had to fight in the First World War.
The thing I personally loved about the book was that “The Great Gatsby” is written in an I-perspective. The story is narrated through Nick. He only describes his own feelings and what others tell him. This had a huge impact on the book as you never exactly knew what others were feeling.
Another thing that I liked was the description. Fitzgerald described everything flawlessly so that you could get a clear view of the setting, characters and the time. This was amazing as it made me understand the story even better and get to know the characters like they are friends of mine.
“The Great Gatsby” is an one of its kind. The story telling is filled with emotion, heartbreak and happiness. I would highly recommend this book to every adult and teenager who loves to read a classic.

Can we just take a moment to realize that Nick is an unreliable narrator?
Like the man is SO FUCKING IN LOVE WITH GATSBY that he doesn't even realize that Gatsby basically manipulated him and used him to go after his cousin. And even AFTER Gatsby's death, Nick goes on to write this novel accounting his life and he just has this mask because his love blinds him from the truth: Gatsby manipulated his feelings so he could get closer to Daisy. And he will never see that because he is blinded by his love (yes I said love because I refuse to believe that you can still be straight after calling a dude gorgeous in the first two pages of your narrative, bite me)
I realized that after I finished reading and maybe I am wrong or maybe I'm missing things here and there, but GOD DAMN I REALLY JUST WANT TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT THIS BOOK BECAUSE UGH!

“‘Her voice is full of money,’ he said suddenly.
That was it. I’d never understood before. It was full of money—that was the inexhaustible charm that rose and fell in it, the jingle of it, the cymbals’ song of it.”
- F. Scott Fitzgerald
