I always kind of laugh as to how I became such a big Saeki fan. It was sort of by accident. My favorite TMGS2 boys for a long time were Shiba-sempai and Masaki-sempai. But I remember receiving a prompt awhile back that I wanted to do a TMGS fic for and felt that Saeki would be most suited for it. Then I was like "Hmm, I need to properly play his route" as I only really had interactions with him through one-off dates and some of the obligatory cutscenes. So once I started to research him more through videos and actually play his route, I ended up being a HUGE sucker for him.

I always like to joke that in real life, I hate tsundere guys but in fiction they are my kryptonite. And Saeki was THE tsundere for him. His relationship with Daisy was kind of endearing and then adapting her a bit further to make it more playful really just sealed the deal for him.

His seiyuu (Masakazu Morita) is also super funny to see at the live TMGS events. Very animated, super competitive. If you can snag the Sports Day or Festival Blu Rays, you'll see what I mean.

For Saeki's birthday, feel free to do an AMA about him or Mizuki I guess, or what my headcanons are.

While my TM4 boy is suffering with no girlfriends, I have been playing TMGS2 with @randomnonsensedragonage and somehow our Daisy has become so popular that 5 boys she has barely glanced at have decided they want to activate a bomb within a span of a week.
