I'm in a sad moo mood so I'm gonna vent a bit about the cattle I miss dearly and introduce them

Black steer is my personal actual companion and son (aside the one due in may) his name is Ichabod Nathaniel Crane but as time goes on his nickname Boo boo takes over if not that we call him Icky,he's still alive and I know where he is I'd say he is 9 now if not 10 I think possibly 10 wow how time flies.

I will make a post dedicated to Icky specifically but I miss him the most out of then all look at the handsome boy!!

Brown round mama is Blackberry,red heifer is Rhodney (Rhododendron),Black with white speckles cow is CC (short for cookie cupcake) and Lil calf is Applesauce

These were my neighbors cattle though I always muvh more considered the cattle themselves my true neighbors,there have been other ones there over the years but for this post I'll keep to this specific group/time frame aside Blackberry she was ALWAYS there until the very last day for us both ;^;

This was my Moo crew everyone knew they were my freinds,my passion and connection to cattle is next level I don't just get sad about animals I used to know or can't hardly ever visit these are freinds who are gone and a child whom I can't see it devastates me perhaps right now it's a little bit the hormones making it so overwhelmingly deep but trust when I say these animals and their absence effects me deeply.

I love my stiffness,figurines,drawings and gear so much it really does make me happy but nothing can truly replace the real company of a fellow bovine just being near or hearing them Moo.

Blame hormones,special interest aspect of autism or even call me senstive I don't care I love and miss them too much 🖤🐄

If aliens had landed in the United States any time between 1880 and 1940 they would quickly be convinced that we were a nation at war with butter substitute. Oleomargarine is everywhere in the records of Congress during this period. The Committees on Agriculture, Manufacture, and Ways and Means were all involved. Dairymen were sending their representatives petitions defending butter and decrying the fate of the nation if this interloper called “oleo” were to become a permanent fixture in American households.

C.C. Buell, a dairy farmer from Rock Falls, Ill., convinced some fellas of “at least average intelligence” at the Grange picnic to sign this petition saying there ought to be a law against oleo because “its continued use may be the cause of pestilential diseases in our large cities.” Nothing says hot button issue like fake butter!

I mostly mess around with the emblems when I'm arranging the characters, otherwise I never really keep saved versions of them

We visited a local dairy for milk and I got to pet this cutie for a half an hour while Ma chatted with the farmer 🤩 I got sneezed on a lot but it was worth it

Farm week is upon us! Which means we work on the Faculty Farm for a week, helping with all the work and getting a glimpse of what it takes to run an organic dairy farm. It also means starting the work day in Utrecht at 7:00, so setting my alarm at 4:30 for the coming week 😅💪🏻

LOL I don't disagree with this. But I grew up on a dairy farm and we were raised on raw milk; took it right out of the tank to the house. It tasted great! And I haven't had any issues. But I can understand that it's not for everyone. (I also had to climb inside that tank to scrub it, but that's another story.)
