What if Ik arrived AFTER a war with genshin celestia????
(I have a small theory that we are gonna have a battle with celestia at the end of the game, but there are a few other good theories too)
So when Ik meets the Celestia realm students she has to physically restrain herself from pulling out her sword, so there's a bit of a strain here but she gets along with them soon so we're good.
Omg and finding out the celestial war. Ik sits there for a few seconds, gets up and pulls out her sword.
Lucifer : ik what are you doing???
Ik : going to destroy another celestia. I did it once, I can do it again.
the Brothers : Wait, what do you mean again-
Ik : Paimon?
Cue Paimon explaining what Ik did prior coming to devildom. The brothers silently sit in dread and shock while Ik goes to fetch her artifacts.
(personally, i think genshin celestia is stronger than om celestia. Yes, the Celestial Realm seems more grand and commanding, but based on the magic we've seen through the game, and the unknown god's power, and the archons power, im lead to believe the Genshin Celestia is more powerful in terms of magic and abilities. But OM Celestia stands a good chance as well.)
i'm a big fan of the building-up-to-a-war-with-celestia theory too, if only for the amount of cool archon moments (and angst) it has potential for - and WOW a traveller ik after a war with celestia would be way different to the original. just a lot more serious (though that's not to say she's incapable of having fun), probably much stronger and battle-hardened too
paimon and dainsleif survived the war with her because i say so, and dain is actually more light-hearted than before - partially because his painful curse is alleviated, partially because he feels like he needs to act as the source of sunshine that ik is currently unable to be. paimon is still much the same as well, but there's always a sense that she's putting up more of a facade....
they get summoned to the devildom not long after the war ended, while all the trauma is still pretty much fresh. when diavolo introduces the angels to ik as 'members of the celestial realm', and before he finishes the rest of the sentence the entire room has been obliterated by an explosion of fire and light. luckily ik didn't kill anyone but she got pretty dang close, it's a good thing she learnt plenty of vision-related healing from her fellow fighters in the war
there no long-term damage to the beings involved, but everyone is a little bit terrified of her after that... so slowly she relaxes and befriends the others, and there's some neat bonding where the brothers and ik help each other heal over their war-related troubles! when she's told about the full extent of the celestial war by simeon, who also relays his concerns about the realm's high council and society as a whole, she gets up, pulling out her sword and calls for dain
she is literally ready to wage another war and put herself through even more battles - this time WITHOUT other vision holders and archons on her side - because she will NOT allow the celestial realm here to become what the celestia in teyvat did. luckily simeon talks her down before she can get serious about it, but he does wonder - if he introduced ik to some of the angels back home, had them and the council listen to her stories about her celestia, maybe things would begin to improve....
