*honestly Alastor is surprised your teeth ain’t fucked up with how much Shugar and hard shit you eat.

Charlie brought some of her candy too you, you both enjoyed sweets sometimes y’all would go on a swweting trip, aka you consume a shit tone of sugar. You tried to get Alastor to eat some with you but he refused the only thing that was worth eating to him in dark coco with espresso, yep that’s it.

But one time OHHHH you were so close to get him eating a sour hard candy. “Please my dear!.” You leaned on Alastor. He hated when you used ‘dear’ on him. It was a no escape on what you needed/wanted him to do. “Darling I have to keep my smile, don’t need to ruin it.” He smiled thinking that would make you stop. You smiled mischievously knowing that would come up. “Alastor this doesn’t mess up your teeth see.” You grinned almost as wide as him.

He took the green sour ball out of your hands. You smiled knowing that you possibly won until Niffty came along and swept it out of his hands. “MINE!” Yells Niffty putting it in her mouth, and makeing a sour face. “Oops looks like I can’t doll.” He leaned down to you smiling.

Next day you had a soada, Alastor did like fizy drinks like champagne and fancy bubble water but one again that’s it, no wonder he is a fucking stick. “Here al!” You say a champagne glass with your sprite. “What’s this?” He said. “What can’t do somthing nice for my love, my poet, my charmer!” You gasp. He deadpanned to you. “It’s sparkling water Charlie had some in her stash.” You say sitting crossing your arm. He took a sip as a record scratch played. “YES! I FUCKING DID IT!” You say raising your arm. You turn around seeing Alastor drink the whole thing. “This ain’t bad I don’t do well but this has a kick.” He said. No shit it’s from hell Donald’s.

A/N: so there ye go love! Now I know this ain’t the best because I have a sweet tooth and never met anyone who hated sweets, especially when you come from a family that makes ALOT of pastries and sweets. Anyways hoped y’all love it.

Shugar Shock (Satosugu)

He curled his fingers, still buried in Satoru’s mob of hair and tugged his head to the side, forcing him to bare his neck once more.

“Ahh!” Satoru’s eyes fluttered shut, mouth falling slack.

And God, he was beautiful.

Incredibly blue eyes, lidded and heavily curtained by strands of white hair. Thick lashes sticky from tears, fluttering beautifully as Satoru tried to keep his eyes open. His pale skin was now flushed and heated, pink speckled all over his face, running down his neck, bleeding over into an angry red where Suguru had bitten and sucked into him.

“Beautiful”, he breathed out, because suddenly the sheer beauty of Satoru Gojo was too much for him to keep in.

Satoru’s eyes fluttered open at that. Barely so.His lips quirked into a faint smile (fond, fond), eyes still heavily lidded as he rubbed his nose over the irritated skin of Suguru’s inner forearm, pressing his warm lips where he’d bitten down on him only moments before.

“You’re not so bad yourself”, he mouths against the faint bite mark, before placing the softest kiss upon it.

“Always the charmer”, Suguru said, smirk on his lips, watching in awe as Satoru’s pink tongue darted out to place tiny kitten licks to his skin.

Pink lips, moist and soft against Suguru’s skin. The scorching heat of Satoru’s tongue setting his nerves alight. Suguru was amazed. He was in awe of the picture that was Satoru Gojo, of the warmth that bloomed inside his own chest, buzzing through his belly and travelling deeper.

“Satoru.” His voice had barely any sound to it. The name simply slipped from his lips, without him having any control of it.

And Satoru peeked his eyes open at him, a faint shimmer of blue flashing beneath heavy, heavy lashes. His lips never left him, mouthing against Suguru’s skin, leaving a trace of slick, electrifying heat. Almost like Satoru wasn’t acting on purpose, like he wasn’t putting any thought into his movements. Like it was simply the most natural thing for him to do.

But now, Suguru didn’t know what to say. Because what was there to say? How was he supposed to put into words what he was feeling at the sheer sight of his best friend, of the beautiful, ethereal boy inside his lap, his droopy eyes, his pink lips (beautiful, beautiful), the way Suguru’s inside burned alight from the thought that Satoru was his? His.

Because this Satoru, this state he was in, was for Suguru alone.

Writing and Rewriting Bracknell Horror

So here's a terrible secret: in 2019, hot on the heels of the original Moonlight on Roseville Beach zine, I put some notes for a little adventure called "The Bracknell Horror." I had no illusions that it was a great investigation scenario. Still, it showed off a few things about Roseville Beach, including places and people in the town as well as the queer people who lived/visited there. It went to a location inside the setting without requiring deep lore, added some jokey Easter Egg references to Lovecraft's The Whisperer in Darkness, and included some comically easy to use alien tech.

The problem was, I didn't really like it.

People at con sessions had fun, but there was nothing particularly special or interesting about the scenario itself, and any scenario would have been great in its place. Also, while I like to say Roseville Beach is a game of "horror comedy," there wasn't much actual horror here other than some Lovecraft references. That's also true of my other Roseville Beach scenario "The Haunting of Flora Bly," though the book has four more scenarios that are richer in horror potential.

But this summer, just before running it at A Weekend with Good Friends, I rewrote it. I talked about some of those rewrites on my blog just after the first run-through, but more have come up as I've continued to playtest this.

First, while the initial scenario centered around a wealthy occultist-adventurer named Simon Mathers, the revision has greatly warped him from that initial vision. In the early drafts, he was an occultist willing to give Dreamlands entities the bodies of Roseville Beach residents in return for access to the Dreamlands. In the new one, he's returning to our reality after 20+ years in the Dreamlands, hoping to find a body for himself (the temporary one he constructed is collapsing) and his two Dreamlands familiars.

In the original, the cult-like group of followers worked for Mathers and planned to keep doing so. In the new, none of them like each other, and each of them have their own reasons for working with him (and one might even try to kill him).

Third, I let some of my OSR influences show. Beyond making each of the named NPCs a faction of one, I've also added some NPC rivals (all of whom might end up becoming collaborators) who also all have their own motivations and agendas for finding out what Mathers' cult is up to.

Finally, while the original notes told GMs to pull from the PCs troubles and connections to determine who Mathers' cultists have captured, the new one includes a chance to target the PCs themselves, giving at least some of them a chance to sneak in and explore the Bracknell while the cult is setting up the ritual, adds some specific NPCs the cult targets, asking instead how the PCs and their contacts/troubles connect them with those people, giving their troubles and connections a motivation to insist on coming along whether they'll be helpful or not.

Dai Shugars, Roseville Beach's art director and visual designer, has put together some incredible maps that allowed me to spend less wordcount describing the space and more giving info on NPCs, creating news stories and book snippets that can serve as physical clues, and creating a better sense of how the Doom Clock progresses.

The text will come to Itch for slowfunding next Tuesday, and the final zine will include the adventure, pregens, new strange events that tie to this mystery, and the basic rules of play, so you can try it out even if you don't already own Moonlight on Roseville Beach. Think of it like a horror-comedy investigation version of a Fighting Fantasy Game Book, but maybe gayer.

Let's take a little sneak peek inside Inevitable...

Firstly, lets take a moment to appreciate the layout and design. This spread of "Eighteen Facts of the Barren" is a combination of the talents of four artists working together. The border art by KlurArts, the wizards gun by Galen Pajeau, the layout by Dai Shugars and of course the words by Zachary Cox.

Inevitable begins with a short setting primer, bullet points detailing the tone, characters and various factions or locations. Creating a world that players can easily fall back on or build upon, without feeling tied to a long official lore document.

1) the heart rate and breathing thing is bullshit : ultra marathons times ( a sport in wich you're challenging your limits more than other pepole ) are rather evenly distributed ,

So you're telling me that sitting on a chair and pressing buttons is more taxing on the cardio respiratory sistem than running for 400 hours ?

And yeah they do that , they basically run for 16 hours a day , drinking shugared water to keep blood shugar high , shitting in bushes ...

2) ok , that still doesn't explain why chess , a famously body taxing sport , is the way it is with nearly all grandmasters being men ...

The most sound explaination is that men preferbto compete against each other while women prefer to solve puzzles wich is 98% likely a cultural thing ( giving myself a 2% wiggle room cause idk )

What i tend to assume is that sports are inerently catering to freaks , hyperspecialists who are gonna spend a lot of their day doing specific set of actions that makes them better at a game ,

So yeah saying that one sex is inerently better at it than the other is kind of ilarius

God, anyone else remember when everyone understood that the correct feminist position about sports was that women should be allowed to compete with men because they're just as capable? When it was a trope in media to have the mysterious star athlete who just blew everyone else out of the water to take off her helmet and reveal that she was a woman the whole time?

Now people are rabidly arguing that supposed "men" (trans women) have inherent insurmountable biological advantages in literally every single possible activity and cis women are too weak and dainty and unskilled to ever compete and must be protected, and then they try to call themselves feminists who are being silenced as if that's not just the mainstream sexist patriarchal opinion

Anyway, desegregate sports. There was never any reason to separate them by gender in the first place

Living in a cannibal town was probably the best decision of your life! Clean and friendly definitely an upgrade from the rest of the pentagram, AND on top of that you were best friends with the overlord that owned the place, roise. A delightful…young…old? Lady. She was definitely a gossiper.

I sat sipping the rose tea rosie made for us for the picnic. I laughed. “Yeah she fucking hates me huh?” Just then I got the idea. “Do you think she's been eaten!” I got excited. Just then I found her and became mad that she was alive. “I AIN'T GOING NOWHERE YOU DAMN BITCH.” She flipped us [mainly me.]

I agree. I mostly just wanted to share my recepi. I also think the term healty gets so easily conflated with ‘something with vitamins and/or fiber with low shugar and fat’ is because for a lot of people those are the nutrients they are most likely to have consumed too little of in comparison. Because for most people, eating a bag of chips or candy is a more attractive snack than, say, a apple.

Because healthy is relative to what your body needs in that moment. For someone who has been on a fruit-only diet for a week, the healthiest option is probably something like an entire plate of bacon. If you have been living off fries, cheeseburgers and soda for a few days, you should probably eat a salad.

Healthy does not depend on the food, it depends on the body. And different peoples bodies have different needs. Someone who exercises a lot has different nutritional needs than someone who sits behind a desk all day. Someone who runs very hot and naturally sweats a lot has different nutritional needs than someone who runs cold.

Suddenly realised that I have all the ingredients in the house to make a cob loaf tomorrow. I should not do this. I don't need to eat that much cheese.

                                            99 Problems Essay

              For my assignment, I decided to choose a bar of soap as my item. More specifically, I chose one specific brand, Shugar Soapworks. Soap is a common item that we use in our everyday day life and can even take for granted. It’s become part of daily routines and has become a necessity, but many tend to forget about it once the topic of “what is important” comes up. A bar of soap was the first thing that came to mind at the start of this project due to the ways that it could be altered and shaped for the photo.  I didn’t specifically mold the soap, but I was able to put it into different shapes by cutting it up, putting it in the microwave, soaking it in water, etc. I enjoyed being able to not just place it in different settings, but also break the item apart to my liking.

For my images when I did shape the soap, I tried my best not to make the cuts and alters perfect. The ragged breaks and cracks in the soap, along with all the tinier scraps from it added details into the photos that I enjoyed being able to capture.
