- 15: Are they more likely to fight with their fists or their tongue?

Desmond would be the most likely to fight with his fists, he's not great with words but he knows how to defend himself and has no problem with it if it's justified. Corvus and Victor are both. They're better with their words than their fists, but they do decent if a situation escalates. Lumi is 100% a verbal fighter, they know exactly how to tear someone down and exactly which buttons to push. Xenio, Lucas, and Mallory . . . are neither. They're the kind of people to just take whatever comes their way and put a brave face on. They act fine, but they always take things to heart.

- 32: Does your character believe in ghosts?

Desmond and Lumi don't. Twst may be a magical world, but that doesn't mean that the supernatural exists to them. Victor, Mallory, and Lucas are neutral. They don't really believe in the supernatural, but if they were given proof or experienced something personally, they wouldn't be surprised. Xenio and Corvus absolutely believe in ghosts and the supernatural. In Xenio's case, I've been working on doing world building for harpy culture, and superstitions and the supernatural are a big part of it. For Corvus, it's more of a headcanon for fae in twst. My headcanon is that since fae seem to possess magic differently / more intensely than other species, it acts differently after death. Until a fae's magic is completely burned through, after death a part of them will wander until their magic is returned to the earth. I'm treating Lilia as an outlier since he's different because of burning through a large portion of his magic and because fae do have expected lifespans, even if they're much longer than other species.

- 48: Do they have any allergies?

Mallory can't eat mangos, and Lucas is lactose intolerant.

Whats your favorite flower?

Oo oo oo!!!! SUCH a good question! Thank you for the ask anon! I love getting these questions!

I have a two different answers, so here goes:

In terms of pure sentimentality, my favourite flower is that from the kōwhai tree. They are a bright yellow and bring so many different manu to feed from them. The house I did the most growing up in has a kōwhai tree beside it that is at least 150 years old, and so I have many fond memories associated with the flower. Also, kōwhai is a legume, so it turns into these rad as hell seed pods whichgive such a nice peppering of yellow to winter when they mature and break open.

In terms of aesthetics, I LOVE dahlias. I love the diversity of shape and colour that humans have bred into them, just as a testament to the silly levels that people will go to see what weird and wacky things they can get in there. To see some dahlias that I have taken photos of, see my post here

on saturday i went to a concert and i saw my ex, we both kinda pretended that we didn’t but we were looking at each other every now and then. honestly i haven’t stop thinking about her and about what happened, but i tried to just forget about it since we both have moved on and she’s had a girlfriend for years now. the thing is that she just texted me and wants to talk and honestly i need to hear what she have to tell me even though i have nothing to say except apologize.

Happy (belated?? soon to be??) STS!! Sorry I'm answering so late gfdsjhfsjgfsjfgs

Crys: Comes off as very cold and standoffish, if he's even noticed at all, but cares a lot for his friends and is fiercely loyal.

Icarus: Uhhhh that he's a cat person?? He might also look pretty intimidating with the height and the wings, but that impression lasts all of five seconds before he beams his sunshine smile at you.

Rhyme: The foul mouth, probably. For such a tiny person she sure holds inordinate amounts of rage. Then again she does go around with the pissiest expression on her face all the time so it might not be that unexpected actually.

Sol: I have no idea. The?? Trauma??? The fact that he's actually very lost all the time????? I can't figure him out for the life of me.

Beatriz: How graceful she can be? With her extreme lack of confidence, her stuttering and her penchant for clumsiness when anxious, you'd never expect her talent in flying and fencing, or how precise she is with her wind magic.

Dahlia: Can be a pinch mischievous or flirtatious despite the mature air she gives off. Also a lot a stronger than she looks.

What would your ocs think of Finn? If you don't mind me asking

Of course I don't mind! I love character questions (I'm just to shy to ask people about theirs or talk about mine normally)! Also so sorry that this took so long to get to, I spent most of the afternoon trying to get all the paw badges.

I'm not completely caught up on your writing for Finn, so my apologies if anything is clearly out of character! Here we go! :

Xenio:

I'm not sure if Xenio would have many opportunities to truly spend time with Finn, but he loves meeting new people so he automatically has a good opinion. I remember you saying that he goes to Pomefiore to paint, so they've probably seen each other around. Xenio's heard about how people feel off in Finn's wake and isn't bothered in the slightest. In fact, it makes her want to know him better! Xenio is drawn towards people who are quite eccentric or strange, because so are they. It's the reason they transferred from Ignihyde to Pomefiore. I also remember that Finn is sensitive to noise, so I don't know how he'd feel about Xenio's frequent trilling (it's like a vocal stim for her).

Lumi:

Lumi would be quite fond of Finn. Lumi can drop their act and just exist normally around him. Lumi quickly learned to stop with the bullshit because they realized they'd get nothing out of him, which ironically lead to begrudging respect and then what could be called a friendship (though I doubt either would admit this). They use different strategies to get dirt on people, so sometimes they swap information on certain students for other beneficial info. I feel like these two would love to trash talk.

Desmond:

Hmm . . . Desmond doesn't exactly dislike Finn, it's just that he knows trouble when he sees it. Finn may keep to himself, but there's still a reason he's in Octavinelle. Desmond is very loud and brash, so I feel like their personalities would just clash a lot. If there's anything these two could find neutral ground about, I think it would be flying. Desmond definitely respects Finn's flying skills and would love to have some kind of competition against him. I feel like if they got to know each other better, they might get along somewhat. That being said, I wouldn't bet too much on that.

Corvus:

I kinda feel like Finn would have a worse opinion on Corvus than he would have about Finn. And honestly, that's fair. Desmond is more of an unintentional troublemaker, while Corvus intentionally causes trouble. He goes out of his way to do things that make people think less of him because it also means that no one expects anything out of him. He's also very loud as well as clearly only cares about one thing and leaves everything else to be swept aside. Corvus has a neutral view about Finn. While he can't let his guard down around him because of his close connection to the tweels and Azul, Finn has also never done anything to really give him a bad opinion. As long as it stays that way, Corvus isn't going to think negatively about him.

That's it! I hope that I did Finn some justice in this. I've never gotten to write about my characters while keeping someone else's in mind, so this was good writing practice. Ty for the ask!

i’m choosing aysel because he’s on my mind a lot right now and at the moment and aylin(his mam) to compliment him.

aysel’s distressed almost constantly, he processes fear differently and tends to view it through his subjective lens. which is dangerous because it either makes him desperate for adrenaline or stiffen as he tries to deny what’s happening around him or to him. i think the first time his body transformed fully was really intense but he wasn’t as afraid as much he was overwhelmed. i think there were a lot of instances in his childhood where he was terrified but those memories are really hazy and he just can’t seem to grasp the feeling. his 5 hour disappearance has made the heaviest and worst impression on him, i’ll have to say that then.

aylin is similar to aysel, but i can more confidently say she doesn’t process fear at all and approaches things as either some spiritual type occurrence or a situation she is dominant in. this is a dangerous coping mechanism but it succeeds in comforting her. she practiced this behavior since she was very young. i can imagine her most terrifying moment is one where she can no longer imagine herself as powerful and is driven to a point of breakdown. screaming and saying she’s not scared isn’t working, her mind is going to too many different places and she feels like she’s going to throw up all her guts. i can’t imagine in what context this would take place. maybe if she were to encounter a swen or get lost in a very unwelcoming building.

aysel doesn’t like thinking about justice. he’s been fed a really confusing picture of violence through most of his life. he thinks most things are out of his hand because the tragedies he’s been through and witnessed have been unpredictable, absurd or things that he thought have happened but were untrue(according to others/certain indicators). this usually makes him unsure of the extent of harm that he’s experienced. he’s not the kind to outright blame himself but he’s very dismissive. in the future he starts to say that he navigates torture better than other people.

aylin believes that the tragedies in her life justify her violence and that there’s no legitimizing or reasoning with what she’s been through. koja is a sadist who enjoys tormenting his own children to satisfy a curiosity(or an ache, or a desire), there’s nothing she can do to change that and she’s never bothered trying much. she thinks under these circumstances her being a bad mother is much better than attempting to be a good one. and she’s right in a lot of ways, she was really never meant to start a family this way or even at all. many of the troubles from her youth have gone unresolved because of this and she instead has to live with them along with many new awful things. she’s experienced the rare heartbreak in this story and it’s enough to shake her to her core. it's odd feeling guilty or a sudden surge of compassion. she doesn’t believe she deserves what’s happened to her nor will she ever repent for her transgressions. so there

And when he died you were super crushed and kinda stopped being Wonder Girl, which led to Cassie taking on the role.

And can you write about how even after death, and him being resurrected your still close, and start dating.

“i could tell,” he snorted, pulling off his broken helmet. “i was wondering where you disappeared to.” his eyes landed on the grave in front of you, his grave.

there wasn’t a sight of moss, or dirt on the headstone, pretty pinkish white dahlia’s sitting beside it. “you come here often?”

“when i’m mad at you,” you mutter in response, arms crossed.

he rolled his eyes, moving to stand behind you. despite your amazonian nature you were shorter than him, not by much just shorter. “like remembering i was dead once and you forgive me?”

“stops me from choking the life out of you.” you add.

“tough crowd.”

“shut up.” you scoff, elbowing him in the ribs, he hisses in pain.

“as attractive as the fact you can throw me around is, doll. i don’t like broken ribs.”

you roll you eyes before he’s grabbing you, pulling your backside flush against his front. “i love you.”

he knew his death had changed you, the girl who used to be full of light and hope was dulled down to an amazonian princess who preferred the harsh realities of life over hope.

your gaze falters from his head stone, “i could’ve saved you.”

“no you couldn’t.” ouch. “even if you found me. i was too far gone then too.”

you stand there in silence once more, accompanied by more than just is headstone this time, this time you have him. jason admired you, your strength, your morals, your hope. whatever happened to the girl he used to look at like the sun, he’d seen you kill someone the other day.

it wasn’t the fact that someone died that shocked him, no it was the fact that you killed someone. with your bare hands, and hadn’t batted an eye when you left the body there.

you’d given up on superhero-ing, claimed there was nothing left to save in a world that would only take.

he hadn’t noticed himself moving closer to you, chin resting on your shoulder with a softly sigh, burying his face in your hair, his eyes shutting. it was a simple gesture that spoke volumes. i love you, hung in the hair, in the way he touched you, the way he loved you.

and you leaned back into him, trust.

you could trust him, only him. you weren’t a saint, not these days anyways. you were just as tainted as gotham itself—dark, broken, and scarred by the choices of those who thought they could save it, yet somehow more dangerous in its decay, where even the purest souls risked being consumed by the shadows.
