As luzes piscavam no ritmo das batidas da música eletrônica que soava por todo o campus, a festa de boas-vindas da OSU parecia estar ainda no começo mesmo que houvessem alunos e alguns funcionários já embriagados. O falatório demonstrava o quão envolvidos todos estavam… E vulneráveis. Tão desligados, ninguém percebeu as figuras estranhas que saíam do prédio principal aos risos, entrando em um carro e indo embora. O DJ contratado por um dos alunos se preparava para a próxima música que tocaria, quando todas as luzes se apagaram. Um enorme apagão que atingiu toda a universidade. Os alunos não se encontravam apenas na escuridão, como também no total silêncio até que veio a explosão de vozes se perguntando o que tinha acontecido. Tentativas de restaurar a energia foram feitas e nenhuma teve sucesso. Apenas meia hora depois as luzes voltaram na companhia de um barulho ensurdecedor de sirene se fez presente por todo o campus. Então a voz de um desconhecido se fez presente pelos alto-falantes que antes tocavam a música da festa. “Vocês acharam mesmo que iriam ter um início de ano tão calmo, tigers? Depois do que fizeram com a gente no ano passado decidimos dar o troco. Pegamos o precioso troféu de vocês e escondemos. Vocês tem até o amanhecer pra encontrar. Se não conseguirem só vão provar que são uns perdedores. Fomos bonzinhos e colocamos dicas em pontos específicos… E umas surpresas também. Tenham muito cuidado se não quiserem se sujar. Peace, suckers!” E desta forma deu-se início a tradicional gincana entre a OSU e a Columbus State Community College, uma competição amigável que resulta em prêmios para os alunos de ambas as universidades. Que vença o melhor!

INFORMAÇÕES OOC.

EXPLICAÇÃO:

A queda de energia terá uma duração de aproximadamente meia hora. O que não impede de os personagens usarem a lanterna do celular ou coisa assim para se localizar.

O retorno da iluminação da festa acontece junto ao som da sirene. Uma gravação dispara das caixas de som, substituindo o que antes era a música alta. Sendo feito o anúncio da caça ao tesouro.

A caça ao tesouro nada mais é do que recuperar o último troféu da temporada, símbolo do primeiro lugar da OSU frente aos adversários da Columbus State Community College. O que é uma questão de honra!

Essas pranks são bem comum entre os rivais: OSU e Columbus State Community College Só que naturalmente todos os personagens serão pegos de surpresa. É praticamente uma gincana que ocorre anualmente entre as rivais.

Em IC: Haverá dicas espalhadas por todo o campus. Elas poderão ajudar ou atrapalhar no processo. CUIDADO: Para que o seu personagem não se suje de tinta! *Tem várias armadilhas espalhadas por aí. Fica a critério de cada um escolher se o personagem vai ou não ser um dos alvos.

A primeira equipe a desvendar o enigma (encontrar a bandeira da OSU e o troféu) vai ter a vantagem de 500 pontos para o próximo evento! Boa sorte a todos.

A duração do plot drop é até o início da madrugada de DOMINGO, 23/08.

Esse evento vai dar início as competições internas na OSU! O que significa que esses serão seus colegas de equipe. Como isso vai funcionar e demais detalhes vão ser disponibilizados na segunda-feira!

Os treinadores são os líderes da equipe, o que não significa que eles não possam escolher outra pessoa do time para liderar. Seja essa primeira “MISSÃO” ou as próximas.

Post-it Poems

So I fully intend to do one story that includes all of these words but I thought of this idea and couldn’t resist. Enjoy this beautiful sappyness. (edited by @alittlemissfit of course)

As Scully packed up the apartment that she’d barely made herself at home in, she found herself distracted by things she’d either hidden away when she moved in or that she’d gotten from her mother’s house.

She would find keepsakes from when she was a kid or old pictures of her siblings. She would find old case files that she’d chosen to keep for one reason or another. But she hadn’t taken a pause in her work until finding a simple wooden box. One that held quite a few memories.

Running her hand over the lid she wondered if she wanted to open it. The small cedar box held old notes from Mulder. Poems that he’d given to her over the years, written out in his messy scrawl on post it notes. The tradition started when she was dying of cancer and continued for most of their life together.

Scully rifled around through the post-its and found the first one he'd given her. It wasn’t dated or signed but she knew it was the first from the moment she saw it. She’d found it sticking to her nightstand one day after a nap.

The note read:

Ah, love, let us be true To one another! for the world which seems To lie before us like a land of dreams, So various, so beautiful, so new, Hath really neither joy, nor love, nor light, Nor certitude, nor peace, nor help for pain; And we are here as on a darkling plain Swept with confused alarms of struggle and flight, Where ignorant armies clash by night. - Matthew Arnold

At the time it made her cry, hold tight to her pillow to soak up her tears. When Mulder came back later that night she kissed him, was grateful she still had the strength to hold him. She’d run her hands under his shirt, down to the sizable bulge in his pants. He’d taken her hands and held them between them before she asked him to make love to her, convinced it would be their last chance. Every day she’d felt weaker and weaker and when he looked into her eyes he’d been unable to pull away. They moved slowly together on the hospital bed in the dark room and she'd tried to hold on to every moment. Wanting to remember each detail during the pain to come. When she recovered they didn’t discuss it. He would occasionally kiss her on the cheek or forehead, say something that made her smile or melt, but they steered clear of heavy discussions, talking about things like love.

Searching for the next note Scully found it sticking to the bottom of the box. After Emily had died she closed herself off, from Mulder, from her mother, from everything. And he let her, until one day a few weeks later she found a post-it on the window of her car after work. The sad words read:

Tread lightly, she is near Under the snow, Speak gently, she can hear The daisies grow.

All her bright golden hair Tarnished with rust, She that was young and fair Fallen to dust.

She cried after reading it, cried like she wanted to at the funeral. Before she knew what she was doing her car was in front of Mulder’s building. She didn’t have a plan but walked up to his apartment and when he opened the door she flung herself into his arms. He held her until she fell asleep, and in the morning she left before he woke. Again, they didn’t discuss it.

Remembering all the words unsaid, she came upon another note in the box. This one she’d found in her briefcase after she’d rescued him from the Bermuda Triangle. When he was lying in the hospital he’d told her he loved her. She had tried to take it with a grain of salt but at night she’d find the words echoing in her mind, seeping into her dreams. After he was released from the hospital she found the note. It had read:

S, I meant what I said- I have been here before, But when or how I cannot tell: I know the grass beyond the door, The sweet keen smell, The sighing sound, the lights around the shore.

You have been mine before,— How long ago I may not know: But just when at that swallow's soar Your neck turned so, Some veil did fall,—I knew it all of yore.

That time there was no rushing over to see him. She had worked up the nerve to bring it up one day until she saw him standing close to Agent Fowley in the hallway, having a hushed conversation. She'd tucked the note away and felt like a damn fool for a long time after.

She didn't open up to Mulder again until after his brain surgery, and shortly after received another tender note. It had been inside a file folder holding their latest X-file, one that had come across her small desk. The poem was scrawled on the front and back of the post-it note.

To Scully- There is a lady sweet and kind, Was never face so pleas'd my mind; I did but see her passing by, And yet I love her till I die.

Her gesture, motion, and her smiles, Her wit, her voice, my heart beguiles, Beguiles my heart, I know not why, And yet I love her till I die.

The words filled her but she didn’t go to him. Instead Mulder came to her. As she sat on her couch reading the note for the fifth time, he knocked on her door.

She opened the door and they simply looked at each other for a moment before she moved forward. Taking his face in her hands she kissed him, practically devoured him. They wound up stumbling into her apartment and into her bedroom, leaving a trail of clothes behind.

That night he spoke poetry aloud to her, and the next morning she pulled open the top drawer of her nightstand, showed him each of the notes he’d given her before handing him a pen and a stack of post it's.

She asked him to write the one he’d just recited while pillowed on his chest, cuddled close to him and reveling in the afterglow.

Pulling that note out from the box she smiled, recalled the husky tone his voice took on as he spoke the words, kissed and nipped at her breasts.

Have you beheld (with much delight) A red rose peeping through a white? Or else a cherry (double graced) Within a lily? Centre placed? Or ever marked the pretty beam, A strawberry shows, half drowned in cream? Or seen rich rubies blushing through A pure smooth pearl, and orient too? At the time she’d laughed in delight at the mischievous look in his eyes. He rolled her nipples between his fingers while reciting it by memory and she praised him for efficient multitasking.

Reaching for the next poem, she was overcome with the sadness she’d felt back when she first read it. Mulder had left it for her the morning he left, three days after William was born. It was stuck on the top of the pile of post-its that still sat in her drawer, but it had taken her a week to find it. When she had she'd held it tight to her chest and cried. The tear stained paper read:

I’m sorry that I have to leave. I love you. -M How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of Being and ideal Grace. Scully felt the tears gathering in her eyes but blinked them back. Kept sifting through the other notes in the box: From time to time she’d find them in her office at the hospital or hidden in her suitcases when they were on the run. She kept the box all these years and she'd kept them all.

Not hearing the door open she was startled when Mulder’s arms wrapped around her, circled her waist.

“Whatcha doing?” he asked, laying a kiss on the top of her head.

“Your post-it poems,” she answered, leaning back into his chest as he looked at her in surprise.

“You kept all of those?”

Putting the box down she turned in his arms. Laying her hands flat on his chest she smiled, looked up into his eyes.

“Of course I did. Every single one.”

His eyes watering Mulder pressed his lips to her forehead. Pulled away after a beat just enough to speak.

“Now that I have your face by heart, I look Less at its features than its darkening frame Where quince and melon, yellow as young flame, Lie with quilled dahlias and the shepherd's crook. Beyond, a garden. There, in insolent ease The lead and marble figures watch the show Of yet another summer loath to go Although the scythes hang in the apple trees.

Now that I have your voice by heart, I read In the black chords upon a dulling page Music that is not meant for music's cage, Whose emblems mix with words that shake and bleed. The staves are shuttled over with a stark Unprinted silence. In a double dream I must spell out the storm, the running stream. The beat's too swift. The notes shift in the dark.

At some point as he spoke Scully curled her head into his neck, listened to the rumble of his voice. Reaching her hand up she stroked his cheek that was covered with a day’s worth of stubble. They stood in silence for a few minutes until Mulder pulled her back from him, looked into her eyes.

“Let’s go home Scully.” She nodded, holding the box into one hand and held his with the other.

They had movers coming to get the few boxes that remained of the half-life she’d lived in the bare apartment. But she knew that she would have left all of the rest behind to be with him.

Il packaging, elegantissimo, non disattende le aspettative sui prodotti, perché le formulazioni contengono l’estratto puro di Dahlia Variabilis, ricco di Vitamina C e antiossidanti che mantiene la pelle giovane e luminosa, e sono realizzate unicamente con ingredienti naturali, biologici e vegani, non contengono fragranze sintetiche, derivati della cocciniglia, che è un allergizzante, ne nanoparticelle.

I “Lip Paradise Intense Satin”, di Dear Dahlia così si chiamano i loro rossetti, si presentano con una gamma di 10 colori, molto belli e altamente pigmentati, a base di cera vegetale di crusca che assicura una texture satinata dal grande comfort e dalla lunga durata e hanno l’ SPF15! Quelli che indosso nelle foto sono Ruby (un bel rosso con sottotono blu) e Megan, un rosa freddo con un una punta di beige che lo rende molto portabile, ma sono pazza anche di Carmen, sono una donna volubile, che ci posso fare!

Per il trucco degli occhi, ma non solo, sono disponibili le “Paradise Dual Palette”, declinate in tre versioni “Multi” “Mix” e “Match” che contengono rispettivamente; due “multi-balm” che è una crema multiuso utilizzabile per occhi, labbra e guance, sono mixabili tra loro per creare nuance diverse, un multi- balm, che può essere usata anche come base per il trucco occhi, e due ombretti dal finish matte o glitter e l’ultima, ma non per importanza, è un trio di ombretti, due matte e uno glitter per creare diversi effetti (consiglio di applicare la tonalità glitter sopra quelle matte per avere un effetto wow!).

Sono molto pigmentati e facili da applicare, personalmente sono entusiasta delle nuance glitterate perché contengono particelle piccolissime che riflettono tantissimo la luce e donano allo sguardo dei giochi di luce molto raffinati. Le palette sono molto belle e compatte, ideali da portarsi appresso per un touch-up durante la giornata.

Nello stesso pratico formato trovate anche una palette composta da due due correttori, molto pigmentati e coprenti, dal finish soft e opaco, molto, che rimane stabile durante la giornata ma che consiglio solo alle più giovani perché tende a seccarsi e a segnare un pochino. Menzione speciale per lo Skin Paradise Tone-Up-Cushion, una protezione solare minerale non chimica con SPF 35 -fight the Alviero Martini effect- ottimo anche come primer! Quante ne sanno i coreani

Per quello che riguarda gli ombretti delle “Paradise Dual Palette”, declinate in tre versioni “Multi” “Mix” e “Match” contengono rispettivamente; due “multi-balm” che è una crema multiuso utilizzabile per occhi, labbra e guance, e sono mixabili tra loro per creare nuance diverse. Un multi- balm, che può essere usato anche come base per il trucco occhi, e due ombretti dal finish matte o glitter. Infine un trio di ombretti, due matte e uno glitter per creare diversi effetti. Sono molto pigmentati e facili da applicare. Le palette sono molto belle e compatte, ideali da ritocco, e stanno dentro anche le borse piccole.

Nello stesso formato una palette composta da due correttori, molto pigmentati e coprenti, dal finish soft e opaco.

Arriva dalla Corea ed è un brand di make-up clean, prodotto con ingredienti naturali, biologici e vegani, e privo di sostanze allergizzanti quali di fragranze sintetiche, si chiama Dear Dahlia, in onore al fiore della dalia, il preferito dall’imperatrice Josephine, moglie di Napoleone che colpita dalla sua bellezza ordinò che si potesse coltivare solo nei giardini reali. Dalia che compare anche all’interno delle formulazioni con l’estratto puro di Dahlia Variabilis, ricco di Vitamina C e antiossidanti, che aiuta la pelle a mantenersi giovane e luminosa.

Ho avuto modo di provare diversi prodotti e due dei loro rossetti, un nude ed un rosso, sono quelli che ho più utilizzato lo scorso 2019, nonché i miei preferiti. La gamma di prodotti Dear Dahlia si compone di palette dual multitasking, per le labbra, gli zigomi e le palpebre; fondotinta cushion SPF 35; dieci rossetti altamente pigmentati a base di cera vegetale di crusca; balsamo per le labbra con karité biologico, olio di mandorla dolce e olio di argan; lucidalabbra long lasting dalla texture leggera che idrata e ammorbidisce. Tutti i prodotti hanno formula 8-free, che esclude otto ingredienti potenzialmente dannosi come parabeni, SLS e fragranze sintetiche.

Da domani Dear Dahlia approda sul mercato italiano per la gioia delle fan che fino ad oggi potevano acquistarlo solo online, sull’e-shopping del brand. Inaugura a Roma il primo pop-up store di Dear Dahlia all’interno della Rinascente Roma Tritone, e rimarrà aperto fino al 5 febbraio.

Il brand sarà presente all’interno della sezione Profumeria al primo piano del flagship romano appena ristrutturato, con un corner disegnato appositamente e fedele all’immagine del marchio Dear Dahlia, realizzato nei materiali e colori signature del brand come il marmo e il rose gold.

Pelle mista, una mania per i gel per sopracciglia. Scopriamo insieme i prodotti beauty feticcio di Luciana Caramia, giornalista beauty

Mi chiamo Luciana, ho 41 e sono una beautyaholic. Potrebbe essere l’inizio di una confessione davanti al gruppo di alcolisti anonimi, ma in questo caso, la mia dipendenza è quella dallo shopping beauty. La mia passione per il mondo della bellezza mi accompagna da sempre, tanto da diventare, ormai 15 anni fa, anche il mio lavoro. Scrivo per alcune testate on line, viaggio, testo, annuso. Da quando ci sono i social poi, la mia voglia di scouting di nuovi brand da testare si è ancora più ampliata.

Il profumo è…. madelaine, ricordo, emozione: non è un caso che ami alla follia Un Jardin En Mediterranee di Hermes, perché mi ricorda i sentori della macchia mediterranea o Phylosikos di Diptyque, il fico più odoroso della profumeria.

Profumo preferito. Oltre a quelli citati sopra adoro Ménage a Trois di Zarko Parfum, che mi ha introdotto alla profumeria molecolare e Perviene d’Eugenie di Heeley. Mentre d’inverno indosso spesso Black Orchid di Tom Ford. Mi piace cambiare fragranza con le stagioni come il guardaroba e così alterno profumi freschi e leggeri ad altri più caldi e sensuali. Non sono però una fedelissima perché amo allo stesso tempo scoprire nuovi brand e bouquet.

Il prodotto beauty senca cui non posso vivere…Mai senza un detergente struccante. La sensazione di pelle pulita prima di andare a letto per me è indispensabile. In questo senso, ho adottato da qualche anno a questa parte la doppia pulizia (oleosa e schiumogena) come le coreane e mi trovo benissimo! In particolare amo i detergenti di Dermalogica, brand che ho scoperto lo scorso anno.

Un disastro beauty. Quando decoloravo troppo i capelli! A vent’anni ero dipendente dalle schiariture e ho distrutto la chioma tanto da sensibilizzarla troppo. Ne pago ancora adesso le conseguenze. Nonostante abbia scoperto Olaplex n.3 un trattamento filler che adoro e che ricostruisce la fibra capillare.

I prodotti di skincare che sto usando. Come dicevo credo che la pulizia quotidiana del viso sia il primo step per una pelle sana, presupposto indispensabile per qualsiasi makeup. Per questo adoro i prodotti di pulizia Dermalogica ma anche quelli de L’Estetista Cinica (spumone e Olio denso), poi detergo con il tonico per me indispensabile per bilanciare il ph della pelle. In questo caso uso la Beauty Water di Son&Park, un brand coreano che acquisto da Miin Cosmetics a Milano. È la mia fonte di skincare coreana. È un prodotto multitasking ottimo che non uso solo come tonico ma anche per una veloce pulizia quando non sono molto truccata. Regala una leggera escoriazione perché contiene acido mandelico e non fotosensibilizza (quindi posso usarlo anche sotto il sole pakistano). Gli acidi della frutta (Aha e Bha) sono un’altra recente scoperta che ho inserito nella mia beauty routine dopo i 40. Ho capito che agiscono regalando alla mia pelle mista ma delicata, la giusta esfoliazione, ma senza danneggiarla (come invece accade con gli scrub meccanici). In particolare non posso fare più a meno del Siero Resurfacing di Tata Harper, che applico ogni sera. Quindi passo al siero (il mio mai senza è l’Advanced Night Repair di Estée Lauder) e alla crema. Indispensabile di giorno quella con spf 50: in questo caso, tra le mie preferite c’è ancora un prodotto di Dermalogica con spf 50. È una delle poche creme dotate di filtro così alto a non lasciare la tipica patina bianca sul viso.

Per i capelli invece uso… Non ho uno shampoo del cuore perché amo allo stesso tempo Pantene quanto La Roche Posay ma è nello styling che ho i miei “inossidabili”. Se devo usare una piastra arricciacapelli li proteggo con lo spray Ghd che agisce da termoprotettore. Se voglio un effetto più “beach waves” utilizzo invece il Wave Spray di Ouai. Mentre per proteggerli adoro gli oli di Gisou e Shu Uemura. In particolare ho una vera dipendenza per il profumo alla camelia di quest’ultimo!

Mentre per il corpo…. Abitando al caldo ormai vado a caccia soprattutto delle creme effetto freddo: come il Crio Gel di Collistar o il Lift Minceur di Clarins. In più, vivendo a piedi nudi e passando tanto tempo all’aperto o al sole non posso fare a meno di fare uno scrub corpo almeno una volta a settimana. In questo caso gli scrub agli oli essenziali di Collistar rimangono per me insuperabili!

Una mania beauty. Il gel per le sopracciglia: da quando è uscito anni fa il Gimme bora di Benefit non posso non truccarle, quasi quanto faccio con le ciglia. Ultimamente però sto amando anche il Dipbrow Gel di Anastasia Beverly Hills. Ti cambia lo sguardo in un attimo!

Ho una pelle mista, con tendenza acneica soprattutto sulla zona del mento. Sensibile e secca nell’area degli occhi, insomma difficilissima da bilanciare..

Online mi documento su…..Il mio mondo ispirazione, soprattutto per il makeup è Instagram dove adoro seguire i grandi makeup artist come Hung Vanngo ma anche gli hairstylist come Anh Co Tran.

Tra profumeria e online scelgo… Ultimamente soprattutto online: ho le idee abbastanza chiare sulla mia pelle e sui colori che mi si addicono. Per cui adoro fare shopping su Cult Beauty, Sephora o Lookfantastic.it

Che cosa vorrei trovare in profumeria…Spero che qualcuno capisca che i monomarca, alla Glossier per intenderci, potrebbero rivelarsi un’esperienza molto più appagante.

Un brand o prodotto beauty che ho scoperto ultimamente e che consiglio. La vitamin C mask di Lixir, è fantastica per illuminare in un attimo la pelle. Per quanto riguarda il makeup invece, il brand coreano Dear Dahlia: amo alla follia il loro fondo cushion e i rossetti sono morbidissimi e long lasting allo stesso tempo.

Integratori sì o no? Non credo negli integratori “beauty” ma per colpa della mia anemia non posso fare a meno di integrare la mia dieta con supplementi di ferro.

Un rito prima di coricarmi. Il balsamo per le labbra: adoro quello di Nuxe e quello di Vis Viva che mi hanno fatto scoprire le ragazze di Noor The Beauty Shop.

Cosa faccio per mantenermi in forma. Cerco di mangiare sano e faccio yoga. Mi ha aiutato tanto dopo il trasferimento all’estero.

Come mi rilasso. Basta un abbraccio dei miei bimbi per sciogliermi… A parte questo, ho notato che quando sono davanti allo specchio e inizio a truccarmi mi dimentico di tutto!
