right then, i will. because what are his lucks that he can move companies consistently, with only like a month's gap in between? in this economy?

if you look closely, his position on the 2011 section is daeri, assistant manager, like moon who shares seojin and hansoo's desk. if you're a fresh graduate employee, you need 4 years to get that position. so if cha-il started working in 2006, it's pretty on track. how though!??

what are the odds that a certain company has an empty assistant manager or deputy manager spot for him to fill? what are his strategies? does he bounce around korea from gyeonggi to busan and daegu then seoul like that? or is seoul packed enough for such high chances of re-employment? did he just creep higher through the company sizes? till he reached something as conglomerate as JU? is man just so driven for that one purpose, God just lets things work out for him?

i heard that it's so hard to quit in japan but not sure what's the culture in korea - a resignation letter to the highest power and that's it? i heard an american youtuber said that when she quit she still has to stay 3 months before physically leaving the position... so honestly sir, how? wouldn't you need at least a 30-day notice before you leave?

i mean at some point i'm sure he might have been mentioned in the news for toppling someone powerful - even if just once in the whole news, it would have been enough marketing for his "freelancer" career - and the headcannon is sewoong heard about him and just goes here's my card, i need you for my company, do what you must?

also was thinking about his oersonality a lot, and that this man's perseverance is because he never got over his father's loss. i would say trauma but I don't want to use that word lightly and i'm not sure, but here's my argument:

like i don't think mental health might be attended much back in the early 2000s as it is today so him loosing his dad might have killed so much of himself - man's not just broken. add the humongous the self-blame to that and you get an intentional 180 degree change in a man.

so he grows more insistent and more ruthless about finding out the truth and in the process just just grows colder, and colder and colder in his insistence to capture the one embezzling money.

i do wonder if he was as warm as hansoo, with his father at least (did he saw himself in the boy?) because that little scene with yoon mikyung when they're younger showed that he's not a man of many emotions. very pragmatic and practical, but perhaps - no, surely - he had dreams and hopes as well? a littlr more optimistic about the world? based on this little statement of romanticism here, and that all just died with his dad.

back on his practical pragmatisim - he doesn't smile much with mikyung (well there could be other factors like him just tolerating her crush but still) makes me think he doesn't (like never) get social cues that well, overcome by his brilliance. the bombastic side eyes we get was hilarious though. shin ha kyun you genius.

I usually don’t cross post between my SM accounts and Tumblr, keeping Tumblr exclusively for timeline updates, but I’m feeling nostalgic today, on the twelfth anniversary of Taekook meeting, so I’m going to share my IG post (though it’s a tiny bit expanded here since I’m not as limited to word length)💜I firmly believe them meeting was fated. It’s something I think about quite a bit, when I think of all the variables that had to line up for them to meet. Put simply, it was destiny. And I absolutely love going down memory lane and thinking of the progression of their relationship. They fought so hard to get where they are today. To be so young and go through the hurdles they did together, as a team, takes a lot of grit and determination. It’s so admirable. And it means seeing them freer and so happy makes me so incredibly happy for them💚

Sept 3, 2011: 12 years ago, Taehyung joined the BTS dorms & met Jungkook for the 1st time! It truly was destiny that they met. When you think about it, the odds for all the puzzle pieces to fall into place exactly as they did is astronomical. Tae accompanied his friend to his audition in Daegu, not planning to audition. A BHE team member spotted him & encouraged him to try out. He then called his dad for his blessing. Tae was the only person to make it to the next round that day

JK tried out for Superstar K in Busan, where he was eliminated. Still, his star power was obvious. 7 agencies scouted him, but Jk chose BHE, a smaller company compared to his other choices

Both Tae & Jk were from different parts of SK. By sheer happenstance they ended up at the same agency in Seoul. What if Tae hadn’t gone to the audition with his friend? What if he hadn’t been spotted by a BHE team member, or didn’t receive his dad’s blessing? What if Jk hadn’t tried out, which led to him being scouted? What if he’d chosen a different agency?

synopsis: an in depth look at kang juyeon’s life prior to debut, including both information known by the public and unknown by the public.

a/n: bold is public information!

kang juyeon was born may sixteenth nineteen ninety nine in daegu to her parents, sangjun (b. 1963) and miyoung (b.1965), and her older sister minju (b.1993). her father worked as an english teacher at a high school in daegu and her mother took care of the girls until he got home before leaving to clean businesses after closing. growing up her family was always very affectionate and close, often spending time going on trips and sleeping all squished together in bed. to this day, juyeon cites her positive upbringing as her source of strength in life.

unbeknownst to the general public, grief struck her family early into her life concerning her older sister, who was 10 at the time. on november fourth, 2003, kang minju passed away after suffering an accidental drowning while at a friends house. this period of her family’s life was very difficult and lead to her parents exhibiting overly-protective tendencies, a likely factor in juyeon’s fear of water and anxiety around new people.

a few years after this incident juyeon’s parents decided to begin enrolling her in a sport, which happened to be dancing - per her choosing. she attended a hip hop academy that was only a short ride from her house and joined their “junior crew” for dancers aged 6-10. even though she had no prior experience with dancing other than with her family and friends, juyeon quickly fell in love with her newfound hobby and attended every practice and performance diligently. only a few months after starting to dance she found an interest in music and singing, deciding to join her school’s band and later choir teams.

in january of 2010, only a few days after new years, her father was called by choi sutae, president of songwon university in gwangju. he was offered a job as a professor in a few different english courses and quickly accepted this opportunity. the kangs were relocated by the end of march and though juyeon was sad to leave her friends behind in daegu, her mom did prior research to find her a suitable new dance academy. in hindsight, this may have been one of the best decisions for juyeon. her new academy offered her expertise, hip hop, as well as other styles she hadn’t been able to explore before such as jazz, ballet, and contemporary.

after settling into her new environment, juyeon fully dedicated herself to her after-school practices and weekend performances. she tried every style offered and often went home going over the choreography again. her efforts were noticed by the teachers in her classes and juyeon was able to make her way to the center position, where her priorities changed from simply learning the choreography well to perfecting her presence on stage. after diving so far into her passion for dancing, juyeon then began thinking about making her own dances, which led her to thinking about making her own music.

juyeon’s first ever song was created on the laptop she had received for christmas in 2011, and it had been completed with a choreography by mid-january of 2012. although she never posted her very first song on soundcloud like she would later into her musical journey, juyeon described it as very beat heavy and less focused on lyrics. she spent many sleepless nights on this project and especially fatigued her body after already attending her dance classes. for the next few years after this initial song her inspiration for music shifted from choreography focused to actual music focused. she started out building a beat from nothing to something, leading to a lot of her songs sounding pretty similar, but her real artistry started once she found out what samples were.

after finding samples from around the internet, juyeon was able to not only work the rest of a song around it, but it was also a good way for her to find examples of what she could recreate in her own way.

at this same time, due to her dad being a college-level english professor with his expertise in english-speaking cultures, juyeon’s proficiency in the language was held at a high standard. and although she sometimes struggled with this expectation it eventually lead her to the opportunity to exchange to america for a semester.

from september to mid december 2013 juyeon lived with a host family in eugene, oregon, where a lot of international students attended the university of oregon. her host family was also korean and had a daughter the same age named mina who was considered a best friend by the time she had to return to korea. juyeon went by billie during her time in america, leading to her eventual stage name. this time was certainly hard for juyeon; she missed her family and friends, she wasn’t attending any dance classes, and every day was an overwhelming culture shock after another. however, juyeon looks back on this time fondly. she made some good friends that she still talks to and cites this experience as a big growing point for her as a person. alongside the english language, juyeon learned a lot about the american culture, history, and people. it really changed her perspective on the world and opened her mind to greater possibilities.

after returning to korea for christmas and new years, juyeon finished her second year of middle school and began her last. as a celebration for juyeon’s hard work in america and graduating her second year, she and her family took a short trip to seoul and spent most of their time wandering around and finding shops and restaurants to stop at. during one of these days out with her parents, juyeon was approached by a jyp staff member and offered the opportunity for an audition. she was given a card and told to call if she was interested.

juyeon’s parents were a little iffy about the idea at first. their image of idols was not as admirable as their daughters, who had been a fan of quite a few artists over the past few years such as; wonder girls, f(x), 4minute, shinee, and exo. however, juyeon was certain she could convince them. during her process convincing her parents juyeon revealed the music she had been working on which happened to be the straw that broke the camels back. her parents saw her interest as well her potential and finally gave in late april, stating that as long as she kept studying english diligently and didn’t let her grades drop, she could join as a trainee on her 15th birthday. obviously, juyeon did exactly as told and joined may sixteenth, 2014.

in june 2014 juyeon met the first member of the now permanent group stray kids. after a dance class juyeon was getting her stuff together when an older boy came up to her and complimented her dancing. juyeon, who had been shy all her life, was still new to jyp and very embarrassed by this sudden recognition. however, to compensate for her awkward nature, she was extremely friendly to this stranger and ended up going to the cafeteria with him for dinner (which ended up being a great decision). during this dinner, juyeon learned that bang chan joined in 2010 from australia. their numbers were exchanged, and after furthering their friendship, they began making music side by side, offering constructive criticism and suggestions for each others productions. chan and juyeon’s friendship was the foundation for what came after - 3racha and subsequently stray kids. this is also the reason why her place in their group meant so much, as netizens at the time of the survival show didn’t understand why she needed to be in the group.

the group, formed by chan with help from juyeon, was completed just a few months prior to filming the survival show. although this process was in no way official, it made it easier for chan to take his ideal debut team to evaluations, which they passed. however, their excitement was short-lived as now they had to prove their worth directly to jyp. while on the show, juyeon faced a lot of stress in order to be competent enough to debut within their hand-made group. jyp stated that her opportunity to debut in the ‘boy group’ depended on her ability to not only meet his expectations but exceed them. she couldn’t just be as good as their best member, she needed to be better. the majority of these days were spent working constantly in fear of not meeting the standards, and the blood sweat and tears she put into debuting was recognized by jyp at the end of the show. juyeon, as well as all of the other members, were granted their debut and finally, on march 25th, 2018, stray kids debuted as a 10 member group with district nine.

decidiu focar em história graças a uma excursão até um museu cultural sobre a história coreana, e então passou a dedicar seus estudos para seguir a carreira de historiadora. sabia que era uma área que não tinha uma condição financeira tão boa, mas seu amor falou bem mais alto. conseguiu bolsa em uma das melhores faculdades do país, onde participou de várias pesquisas cientificas e ficou conhecida como um demônio do conhecimento.

BTS (방탄소년단/ Bangtan Sonyeondan/ Bulletproof Boy Scouts) es una banda de chicos surcoreanos formada en 2010. Hicieron su debut el 13 de Junio de 2013 con la canción “No More Dream”.

[Parents / Single Mother – Moon (Sophie) Soo-yeon & Kim Il-seong]

Moon’s mother Moon Sooyeon was born in 1969 in Sydney, Australia. She grew up with her korean father and australian-korean mother. She was an office worker and singer-songwriter in her free-time.

Kim Il-seong, Moon’s father, was born 1968 in Daegu, South Korea. He grew up with his mother and a very alcoholic father. His mother left him with his father after years of physical abuse and never came back. As soon as he turned 18 he moved out of his father’s home and left South Korea. He moved to Sydney, Australia, in hopes of opening his own garage here.

In 1988 the two met at his newly opened garage, because Sooyeon’s car had broken down. They started dating and in 1990 they moved together. They got married in 1992 and in the same year their first daughter, Moon Jane, was born. Six years later, in 1998, their second daughter was born, Moon Ari.

Tragically, in 2008, their older daughter Jane died when a drunken driver swerved and hit her on the sidewalk. This caused Ilseong to fall into his father’s drinking habits. He had to give up his garage and eventually became abusive to his wife.

However, when he physically attacked their daughter in 2011, Sooyeon had enough. She reported him to the police and luckily had enough proof to get him arrested. He was charged with domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor and physical assault of a minor. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Sooyeon divorced him and in 2012 she moved to her parents, who had since moved to South Korea. Here Sooyeon tried to rebuild her life with a new job and new friends, but with the amount of trauma from the abuse, she had to undergo therapy and was eventually put in a psychiatric hospital.  

In this time her parents take care of Moon, although Sooyeon is still in her life. Her daughter becomes a trainee in 2014 and this is also when Sooyeon is released from the hospital. She reconnects with her daughter, and they grow back together.

And as if her life hadn’t been hard enough, she gets diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019 and has to undergo treatment. It is not yet clear how high her chance of survival is.

{Sister – Moon Jane}

Moon Jane was born in 1992 in Sydney, Australia. She was an amazing student in school and was incredibly athletic. She had a scholarship in track for college and played in a teenage basketball league on their way to fame.

Tragically, in 2008, when Jane was only 16 years old she died from getting hit by a car. She had basketball training and was on her way home at night. A drunk driver swerved, lost control over his car and crashed into her. She died at the scene and the driver was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Moon had a strong connection to her sister and to this day she grieves the loss of her older sister. Jane’s death caused the family to break apart and Moon still wishes it would’ve turned out differently. She has talked about her sister in interviews and livestreams before and wrote a song for her as well. It did impact Moon’s view upon driving when drunk and drinking overall. Moon isn’t the biggest fan of getting drunk and she despises people who drive after drinking. Overall, Moon’s life has been strongly impacted by her sister and although she was only 10 years old when Jane died, she still has her in her memory very clearly.

[Maternal Grandparents – Kate Moon-Young & Moon Mal-Chin]

Kate Young, Moon’s grandmother, was born 1952. In the same year Moon Malchin was born. These two would end up marrying and having a child, named Moon Sooyeon.

After fleeing an abusive relationship their daughter moved to live with them and they started to take care of their granddaughter, Moon Ari. While Sooyeon was getting therapy and medication, the two raised their granddaughter with lots of love and care.

They originally were against the idea of her becoming an idol and after Moon had decided to do it anyway, they had lost contact for a while. Moon was hurt by their unsupportive mindset, and they were hurt that she wouldn’t listen to them. But after Moon rekindled her relationship to her mom, they also got back in contact, slowly rebuilding the close bond they used to have with their granddaughter.

Samsung Lions

Samsung Lions franchise was founded in 1982. It is one of the 2 teams in the league that did not change its homeground location and franchise name. It is owned by the famous company Samsung.

Ballpark:

The Lions' ballpark is Daegu Samsung Lions Park, located in North Gyeongsang Province (Gyeongsangbuk-do). It opened in 2016 and it is one of the newest ballpark in the country. The stadium is painted blue due to the team's identity colour. When the team is winning at home, outer lightings of the stadium turns blue and when they are losing it turns red. It has the largest seating capacity in Korea with 24000. The ballpark design is sampled from the Phillies' homeground design (Citizens bank park).

Mascot:

Bleo (Father), Leni (Daughter), Laon (Son), PinkLeo (Mother)

In the early days, only Bleo was the mascot for the Lions. It was in fact a team consisting 2 male lions named sadoree and 2 female lions sasoonee. They were well known for their ridiculously funny and legendary performances which made the fans delighted. The 4 of them retired in 2015 and the Bleo family above has been the Lions mascot since 2016.

Fun fact:

The Lions in the early 21st century were the strongest team in KBO. The Lions dynasty won the regular season 4 times in a row from 2011 to 2015 and they won the Korean series during these 4 seasons. The Lions franchise is known to be one of the strongest teams in KBO history (before their downfall in the past few years).

Star Player:

Koo Ja Wook (31, Outfield) has been a loyal Lions player throughout his entire career. Despite the downfall of the Lions during his career, he was the key batter in the lineup and had the second highest batting average in the league with 0.336 in 2023. His WRC+ 5th highest in the league with 153.2. One thing he should improve on is his number of homeruns and RBI which were only 11 and 71 respectively. Despite his height of 191cm, he lacks in the number of homeruns and while also considering that Lions Park has one of the shortest outfield.

Performance in 2023:

The Lions continued to remain in the bottom half of the league. The Lions had the worst pitchers in the league and the team had the highest overall ERA of 4.61. They also had the worst bullpen ERA of 5.16. They have failed to develop any rookies well this season and collapse of the entire pitching team resulted in an awkward 8th position in the league.

Outlook in 2023:

The Lions have to boost their bullpen to avoid another catastrophic season. With continuous failure in rebuilding programmes, the main solution is to spend money to buy FA players. The team cannot depend on few star players like Koo and they need to trade actively to bring in crucial players into the team. They also have to scout foreign players to cover the gap created due to the departure of their ace, David Buchanan. If such efforts fail, their hopes for post season will be crushed.

Il terzo 가 significa, a sua volta, “quel tizio” sempre in rif. alla stessa persona di cui si parla, e l'ultimo가 è la trasposizione dialettale di 니(ni), ovvero il suffisso con cui si chiude una frase interrogativa,
