I feel like with his Dadward senses, Edward would immediately be able to tell if something was wrong with one of his sonies, so he talks to them if there is something wrong and if the crony isn’t ready to talk about just yet, Edward respects that and waits until the crony is ready to talk about it

Since you know, Dadward is awesome
