quick life update. so i got the job!! i start next week. it's gonna be another customer service type of position but i'm really just happy to be a part of the company. it's a nice starting point for a first full-time position. ugh i'm so excited and yet so nervous, eeee wish me luck y'all <3

i've just finished reading (or, a la the audiobook, listening) to ralph's autobiography, waxing on: the karate kid and me. he's a strong storyteller and reader - his voice is INCREDIBLY calming hahaha, loooved getting to listen to him talk for five hours over the span of a week and a half - and he writes like he speaks. what i really love though, aside from how much he'll wax poetic on his wife, is his perspectives on the film v. tv industry. his insistence on wanting to make art puts a lot of his crappy roles into perspective and makes me a little more sympathetic to some of his agents'... choices.

it's worth a listen, and his perspective on the creation of the karate kid and cobra kai, experiences with fellow 80s actors, and life retelling was enjoyable and never snoozable!

Canceled Flight

Summary: Pedri and you never expected that a canceled flight was going to make you label your relationship.

Warnings: cursing.

"Mamá, leave the refrigerator alone." Pedri laughs, watching his mom go through the things inside. "You are going to be late."

"I'm just making sure you have everything, I don't want you not eating because you don't have food."

He rolls his eyes. "I can cook an egg."

"But you don't do it, son." His father says, walking with his luggage in hand.

"Guys, let's go." Fer shouts. "The Uber is outside, let's go."

Pedri helps his parents with their luggage, Fer was placing his next to him. "Hey, text me when you're back home." He whispers.

"Will do," he smiles. "Have fun at home, say hi to grandma for me." He hugs his brother

Fee smiles, hugging him and joining his parents inside the car. "Bye!" Pedri shakes his hand in the air.

He walks back home, grabbing his phone and texting you that he will be ready in a few minutes.

He runs upstairs to get his sneakers. You suggested taking a walk around the gated community, just to talk.

He likes the idea, mostly because he will spend time with you. The other good thing is that nobody will bother the two of you while doing that.

He grabbed his keys, walked to the end of the street, and knocked on your door. The best part about you is that you live so close to him.

You two met up one day when you were running. He was late for a meeting, weird thing about him, when he exit his house he didn't even payed attention or looked at both sides.

He knocked you over, helping you to get up. He apologized with barely a few words, eyes roaming between you and his car.

You laughed at how worried yet how in a hurry he was. Reassuring him that you were fine and that he could leave.

You then found him again when he was entering his home. He left his car on the driveway.

"Not in a hurry this time?" You asked, smiling at him.

"Hola!" He smiled. "I'm still feel bad." He says.

"Don't. It was a mistake." You chuckle. "I like your car." You say, trying to make conversation.

"If you know how to drive, I can borrow it anytime." He smiles. "That way, I can make it up for throwing you in the ground."

"I'm Y/n." You extended your hand.

"I'm Pedri." He shakes your hand.

That small talk got you two exchanging numbers. You went on a few dates, nothing crazy.

He wanted to keep you on the low before even formalizing anything between you two. That way, if anybody took a photo he wouldn't mind

He likes you very much. He even told Fer about you, telling him that he never felt that way about aby other girl.

"Oh hi!" You say, hugging him and kissing his cheek. "Ready for a walk?"

He humms yes, kissing your cheek a few times. You laugh at the feeling of his beard. Arms tightening the hug.

"Let's go!" He says, separating from the hug and taking your hand.

You two walk for a little in silence, hand in hand as you enjoy each others company. You love how his thumb is caressing your hand.

"My dad wants to get a dog." You say.

"Really?" He smiles. "Get a labrador. That way, we can match dogs."

"I'll suggest it." You laugh, hugging his arm, planting a kiss on the side of his head. "I'm going with my sibling to the game this weekend." You tell him.

"Really?" He says, excited about the idea of you there. "Did you buy the tickets?"

"Not yet, my dad is the one that's going to get t-"

"I'll get them for you." He smiles. "Vip, section too." He jokes with you, raising his eyebrows. "And I can maybe lean you a jersey."

"Oh, yes!" You say excited. "I want the 19, please."

His smile drops. "Hahaha." He fakes laughing. "I think you would appreciate the 8 more."

"Nah, I'll stick with the 19." You smile. You get to a small kids' playground. "Let's sit on the swings." You pull him.

You make him sit on the swing, pushing him to move him. The way he's laughing is so cute to you.

"Time out, come here." He says, smiling like crazy.

You move to sit next to him, but he's quicker and pulls you over his lap, sitting you there. With one hand, he's grabbing your waist, and the other is grabbing the chain of the swing.

You two laugh as he swings you carefully. "We are going to fall, Pedri." You say.

"Fine," he says, stopping. "I was thinking that maybe we can eat something while watching a movie." He says, kissing your shoulder.

"I love that idea." You smile at him. Hand caressing his arm that's around your waist. "Let's go."

You stand up, helping him do the same. You two walk back to his place. This time, you make more conversation.

"What are you craving?" You ask him.

"What are you craving?" He repeats the question.

"Well, considering I can eat whatever I want when I want to." You laugh. "I'll let you pick."

"Maybe pizza." He smiles.

You feel how the small water drops start falling onto you and him.

"Oh shit." You say, grabbing his hand and running a little.

The small drops quickly became a very strong rain. Wetting you and him.

"Why did we even walk that far?" He laughs. You stopped, pulling him. "What?"

"We are already wet." You pull him into your arms, kissing him. "Might as well do that." You say as you separate.

He kisses you again, hugging your waist. "Let's go, I don't want you to get sick."

You get to his place. He asked you to wait while he brings a towel and a bin for the wet clothes. You do as you are told, taking your shoes and socks off.

"I have this bathrobe. It's a little bigger, but you can cover with it. I'll start the dryer." He says.

"Help me with it." You ask, making him nod.

He passes the robe around your shoulder, grabbing it to make sure it doesn't fall. You take off your top, eyes glued to his.

You can't help the feeling on your stomach, not even when you take off your bra his eyes moved away from yours.

"Thank you." You say, tightening the belt of the robe. "My leggings are kind of water resistant, so they will get dried faster, no dried needed." You smile at him.

"I'll make sure to hang it for you." He smiles. "I'll grab you a t-shirt, so you can be comfortable. Why don't you sit, I'll be back."

You nod, walking inside his house. Taking a seat at his couch. You notice the framed pictures of him and his family.

"Do you like pasta?" He asks, walking inside with a short and a towel around his shoulders. His bare chest makes you feel some type of way. "Here's that shirt, I think it will cover you so you don't feel hot with the robe."

"Thank you." You smile. "Need some help with dinner?"

"Well, hope you don't mind eating reheated pasta, my brother made it for me a few hours ago."

"I can make us some garlic breads if you like that." You say.

"Joer', that sounds amazing."

"Just need some garlic, butter, a pan, and the bread." You smile at him. "I can add cheese if you want to."

He nods happy, handing you all the stuff you need to cook. He does his part, and you do yours.

You open the robe a little, the making of the foor was making you feel hot. "Want some lemonade?" He asks, kissing your shoulder while he looks at you placing the bread on a plate.

You nod, thanking him. You help him serve the pasta while he fixes the table. You love how he's so affectioned and so clingy.

You two eat and talk about the next match. You asked him to spoiler you either any strategy that they planned.

He loves talking with you, it was so easy and so simple. Yet it feels like he knows you all his life. He wanted to move forward with you. Not doubt.

"Let me help you with the dishes." You grab both yours and his plate. Bringing them to the kitchen to wash them.

"Let's place them on the dishwasher, it's easier." He grabs your waist, making you turn. "Let me do it." He smiles.

You nod, hands locking on his neck. You kiss him, loving the way his lips feel on yours. He grabs your waist, lifting you and placing you on top of the counter.

You watch as he does the work. You love how he looks at you while doing it. "Done."

You open your arms to him. He loves how you embrace him. "La verdad si quiero esa camiseta con el 8." (Honestly, I do want that jersey with the 8 on it) you smile, kissing him.

He deepens the kiss, his arms wrapping around your waist. You move your hand to his hair, pulling it a little bit.

He can't help the small whine that he let out. Making you smirk into the kiss. "Want some ice cream?" He asks, separating to take air.

You blush a little. "Yes, I would love that." You whisper.

He pecks you again, smiling at you. He walks over to his fridge, taking the pot of ice cream and grabbing a spoon.

He sets between your legs. "Open your mouth."

Your stomach turns because of the tone he's using. You do as you are told, letting him spoon feed you.

"It's so good." You smile.

You take the pot and spoon from his hands, feeding him with the ice cream. "It really is good." He smiles.

You left the container next to you. Grabbing his cheeks, you go back to kiss him. You love that he tastes like an ice cream.

You are so into the kiss that you don't hear how the door opens and closes. You are too focused on the way pedri is humming against your lips.

You hear someone clearing their throat. Pedri separates from you, turning to see his brother standing there with a luggage. (🧍🏻)

"Mierda." He mumble.

You feel the embarrassment of your life. You close the rope and jump off the counter. Fer is looking at you two. Speechless.

"Fer, can you get me some water?" Pedri's father asks. You just got more red. "Hi!" He says, smiling.

You smile a little, feeling shy. Waving with your hand, not trusting your voice.

Pedri clears his throat. "You guys are back." He nervously laughs, he scratches hmthe back of his neck. "This is Y/n." He smiles at you, tying to not make the situation more awkward.

"Hello, Miss Y/n." His dad smiles. "I'm Fernando." He smiles, walking over to you and extending his hand.

You took his hand, shaking it lightly. "Nice to meet you, sir." You whisper.

"And this is my brother." Pedri says.

Fer just nods, trying not to laugh at the situation. "Hi." He smiles.

You whisper a hi back at him. You want to die, you never expected to meet his family like that. Not while you're only wearing Pedri's t-shirt, your panties and a oversized robe.

"Fer, why don't you reheat the pasta." You hear a woman voice. "Also, where's Pedri? He left the dryer on."

You want to jump out of the window, not only were you half naked in front of his father and brother, but you also ate the pasta his mother asked his brother to reheat.

You look at the dishwasher, knowing the empty pasta bowl was there. Pedri noticed how uncomfortable you look.

His mother stops on her tracks, noticing a new face. She just smiles, not thinking anything bad. "Hola."

You smile back, and you can feel your red face. You wave at her.

"The dryer was on because we were out, and the rain started, so we got all wet." He ober explains. "This is Y/n." He smiles, pointing at you. "And there's no more pasta." He whispers.

"And there's no more ice cream, I see." Rosy jokes, noticing the container on the counter. "It's okay, we can eat other thing."

You turn to the melted container of ice cream. You then look at Pedri, he feels weird.

"I'll go to my room. Help me with the luggage, dad?" Fer says, making his father nod.

His father and him walk upstairs with the three suitcases. Rosy stakes a seat at the wooden stool.

"Our flight was canceled due to the rain, but look, no more rain now." She says, mad about the situation. "Anyways. Y/n, is it my mind or I have seen you around?" Rosy asks.

"I live at the end of the block." You smile at her. "I've seen you a few times." You say, remembering that you said your greeting to her on the street as you walked back home.

"Right, I remember your face. You run."

"Yes, I do." You nod, smiling but still feeling awkward. "I'm sorry about the pasta." You apologized.

"It's okay, was it good?"

"Very, I'm also sorry about the ice cream." You say.

She nods, not caring but enjoying the way pedri, and you look so uncomfortable.

"Are you Pedri's friend?"

You think on what to say for a few seconds, you were more than just his friend but nothing that you and him ever talked about.

"She's-" Pedri starts. Clearing his throat. "She's my girlfriend." He says, passing his arm around your waist. "She's actually coming to the game this weekend."

You blush at his comment, you really like him, and you love the idea of him being yours. You place your hand on his.

"I'm sorry we met this way." You say to her.

"Don't worry," she chuckles. "I hope next time it's better. Now, if you excuse me. I'll be in my room."

You both say your goodbyes to her. You wait till she's gone. Laughing at how awkward the whole thing was.

"I think our clothes are dry." He says, grabbing your hand and walking with you to the laundry room. "I'm sorry about that shit show." He says, head resting on your shoulder.

"I want to die, honestly." You laugh again.

"Can we do it together?" He asks, making you nod. "I'll let you change, I'll be outside."

You wait till he's out of the room, taking a big breath. You feel like if you are in fever dream.

You grab your clothes from the dryer, dress yourself, and try to fix your hair on the reflection of the machine.

You open the door, finding him on his phone. "All done." You smile at him. "I think my shoes are still wet, but that's something I can fix at home."

"Let me walk you." He opens the door for you.

The walk home was slow and silent. You don't know what to say and he's afraid he might say the wrong thing.

"We're here." He says.

You grab the small key you left on the pouch of your leggings. You open the door, thanking him for walking your home.

You wave goodbye at him, closing the door. You stayed there for a few seconds. Trying to process everything.

You hear three knocks on the door. Opening it, you find Pedri. "Hi." You whisper, smiling.

"I forgot something." He says, breathless.

You open the door, confused about what he might have forgotten. "What did you forget?"

"This."

He grabs your hips, pulling you over to him. His lips clash over yours. You place your hands on his cheeks, bringing him closer.

When the air feels necessary, you two pull away. Waiting only a few seconds before going back to the kiss.

"Let's repeat this date tomorrow." He says, smiling at you.

You bit your lip, pecking him. "Deal, you have to make something up to me." He frowns, not understanding what you are saying. "You never asked me if I wanted to be your girlfriend."

He then smiles, understanding everything. "I'll make sure to make it up. Don't want you to say no." He says, hands on your cheeks. His thumbs caressing your face.

"I won't, just ask me this time." You laugh.

You kiss again. You love the feeling.

"Go home, González." You place your hands on his shoulders, pushing him jokingly. "It's late, and you need to rest for tomorrow's training."

"Will do, boss." He laughs. "I have to train extra hard, don't want my girlfriend to feel embarrassed of my game."

"She won't." You say, caressing his cheek. "Text me when you are home?"

"Will do, preciosa." He smiles, quickly getting closer and pecking you one last time. "Now I can leave in peace." He laughs, making you laugh with him.

“You be Ken, Daddy, and I be Chelsea,” Elizabeth orders, handing her father the doll. Most kids are obsessed with the titular character of Barbibe; however, Drew’s daughter loves her Chelsea doll with a passion. He takes it without hesitation, “'Cause I'm just Ken, anywhere else I'd be a ten. Is it my destiny to live and die a life of blonde fragility?” The singing goes over his daughter’s head and she begins the dialogue of the game. He isn’t too sure what exactly is going on; only catching every other word. He does hear cheating and divorce though, so he makes a mental note to ask Y/N if she has been watching Real Housewives with their daughter again. 

Around half an hour later, the young girl complains about being hungry, so the two of them get to cook dinner. He watches as the small hand grips the spatula and waves it back and forward, spreading tomato sauce over the lasagna slices. She accidentally yanks the utensil upward, which causes a splash of red to land on her nose. Drew laughs and Elizabeth goes crossed eyes to try to see what he is laughing at. This makes him laugh even harder and she joins in on the cheery mood. He takes the phone out, letting her put some sauce on his nose and angling the camera at both of them. They make a funny face and he takes multiple pictures. After their small photo shoot, the two of them finish making the lasagna and eat up their reward for their effort. He checks the time to see that it is the little one’s bedtime soon. “It’s bath time,” he announces. Excitement crosses her face because she loves being in the water. He helps her out of the chair and chuckles when she rushes to the bathroom. “Come on, Daddy,” she beckons from the other room. He jogs after her to find her sorting through her toys already, trying to figure out which one she wants to play with. The one thing she hates about bathtime is the three toys limit. 

He steps over the toys and plugs the drain so the tub will fill when he turns the tap on. As the water begins to occupy the hollow porcelain, Drew turns to his daughter and opens the cabinet beside the bath. “Do you want bubbles and what bath bomb do you want?” he questions. She looks up from her toys and examines the choices, “Can I use one of Mommy’s?” The cabinet is filled with bubbles for both Y/N and Elizabeth, but the bath bombs are divided between the two of them. Elizabeth’s are colourful and shaped in different forms, such as cats, unicorns, or dogs, while Y/N’s are more focused on the scents so they are less colourful and just round. Knowing his wife wouldn’t mind sharing, he nods. “Bubbles, please, and that one,” she answers, pointing to the light pink bath bomb that smells of roses. Drew grabs both of the chosen items, “Those are fine choices, My Lady.” Elizabeth giggles at the funny accent he uses and accepts the round object he hands her, dropping it into the tub when he instructs her to. 

Once the bubbles are in and the water is at an appropriate height, he helps her undress and sets her into the tub. He hands her the duck, the mermaid, and the boat she chose to play with, accepting the mermaid she gave him. “And we can swim all night together,” she recounts. The duck slaps against the water under the grip of the daughter. The force produces a large splash that hits her father in the face. His face scrunches as the water makes contact and drips to his neck. “Hahaha,” she yells. Drew fakes an angry look, “Grrr. You think that’s funny, Little Lady?” He dips his hand in the water and flicks some at his daughter. Her giggles intensify and she tries to get away from the attack. The warmth soon leaves her, creating a shiver in her. Upon seeing this, the father grabs the ducky hood towel from the hook and takes her out of the tub. He wraps it around her and runs his hands up and down her arms to create some heat. The floor is soaked because of their playing, so he takes a second to dry it with the floor towel. 

With the floor clean, he carries her to her room and they get her changed into her pyjamas. He runs the towel over her hair to get out as much moisture as he can. He takes the brush she hands him and runs it through her hair to get rid of the knots created in the bath. “Do we want one braid or two?” he confirms. She hmms for a little, “Two Fwench braids, please.” He divides her hair into two and then separates one of the sections into three. He begins weaving the strands together like his wife taught him and sings with his daughter whilst she waits for him to finish. 

“There you go, My Lady. Why don’t you go choose a bedtime story?” he encourages, watching her run to her bookcase. She spends about a minute looking at her options before choosing a book he knows she is going to pick because it has been her choice for a few nights now. She patters back to him and he helps her onto her big girl bed. Her head rests against his shoulder. He pretends he doesn’t see her thumb in her mouth even though Y/N would kill him for not stopping it. He thumbs through the book to find where they stopped last night and clears his throat to start reading. “To be, or not to be, that is the question.” The English major side of him loves that his daughter likes to read Shakespeare. He is sure she doesn’t understand anything he reads, yet he knows she enjoys it because she is always so attentive and she’ll ask what certain words will mean. Drew looks past the inappropriate subject matter of Hamlet for the two-year-old because it feels like a bonding experience for him. It is one of the reasons why he isn’t angry at Y/N for watching Real Housewives with Elizabeth. 

Ten minutes later, he fills her head relax as it digs into his muscles. He closes the book and kisses her forehead. His hand raises the blanket to her chin, turning on the night light. “I love you, My Lady,” he whispers.

Drew is reading through Othello because he thinks it is what he and Elizabeth should read after Hamlet. She’ll like the witches’ scene. He hears the front door open and close. He shuts the book, placing it on the side table as his wife walks through the bedroom door. “Hey, did she go down to sleep okay?” she mumbles. Her back is facing him whilst she takes off her jewellery and places them on her vanity. His head bobs and he gets behind her. He hands her a makeup wipe, resting his chin on her shoulder. He observes her nighttime routine through the mirror. His lips press against her skin, “Yep, everything went by smoothly. We are almost done with Act Three for Hamlet. I’m thinking about reading Othello with her next. How was the club?” She hesitates about answering. Y/N honestly had an amazing time tonight. It felt so great not having to worry about another human being for an evening. She loves Elizabeth, except being a mom can create a lot of pressure. Even though the night was a success, guilt overcomes her when she meets her husband’s eyes in the mirror. Drew hasn’t gone out at night with friends since he got back from work and she has been out three times. “It was fine,” she plays off, wiping her makeup off with the wipes he provided for her.

His brow arches at her tone, “Really, only fine? I saw Layton’s story. You looked like you were having a blast.” Her eyes fall to the vanity. “It must have been a trick of the light,” she shrugs. She goes for another wipe, except veiny hands stop her. He takes her hand in his and spins her so they face each other. Warm hands cup her cheek. “What’s wrong, My Queen? Why so glum?” he worries, brushing his thumb over her cheekbone. 

Her breath tickles his skin as she exhales, “Do you hate that I make you stay at home with Elizabeth when I go out?” His head shakes like an earthquake and he brings her in for a hug. He can feel the guilt oozing out of her. “No, of course not. I love Elizabeth. Why would I hate it?”

“I’m not saying that you hate her. I just wonder if you resent me for going out with the girls, which means you have sole parent duties for a night. You haven’t had a night out since she was born. I mean you go out, but never by yourself so that I have sole parent duties.” 

“You have sole duties when I work.”

“That’s different though. Just because you love your job doesn’t mean it is a personal outing for pleasure.”

“True.” 

She looks back at him with a pout, his last words intensifying her emotions. “Please don’t feel bad about this. I may not go out anymore, but I never used to go out that much before anyways, right?” he reminds her. She thinks about it, realizing that it is true. Whenever he went out, it was always with her by his side. She meets his gaze, “You are saying that to make me feel better.” His head moves from side to side. “No. I love having nights with me and My Lady. I mean they are perfect when it is me, My Lady, and My Queen, but if I can give you a much-needed break, then I am more than happy to help you with that. If anything, Elizabeth is my excuse to stay in.” A grin starts to grow on his face when he sees the tips of her lips flip upwards. “Well, I’m glad I made you the perfect excuse,” she jokes. His laugh joins her lightened mood, “You made me the best excuse. Maybe we should start working on another one. You know, to solidify our excuse.” His eyebrows waggle and she pulls him into a kiss with a smirk. Their giggles mix in the air as he locks their bedroom door and she flops onto their bed.

Fun Fact! Cats have a primarily carnivorous diet. So much so that a good number of plants are actually toxic to them, such as onions, raw potatoes, garlic, and plants that grow from bulbs. Some cat food will include plant matter, but these are usually cooked before being added, making them less toxic than if served raw.

Fun Fact! Cats may show affection by placing their paws in their owner's faces. However, cats may also do this while forgetting to clean up after themselves, so be aware of where you cat has been before they shove their feet into your mouth.

Don't mind me as I found out this AU a day ago and heard you're waiting for BY ep 4 to form stuff w Dark Choco and Frigid Cacao and BOY do I have ideas.

(This is going to be a long ask, it's been cooking for a while and I need to ramble abt it, hopefully Tumblr won't eat it. Also a little spoilers about ep 13 & 14 and odyssey ch 1 if you're not there yet)

So, we're not talking about Dark Choco's perspective just yet (I'm also waiting on BY ep 4 for that) but from Cacao, we can establish stuff about how he feels about Choco in canon and go from there and speculations on BY ep 4.

Canon Cacao very clearly loves his son and truly longs for him back in his life. But, as referenced from the Hollyberry interaction, he's very reluctant to seek him out, preferring Choco approach him first instead.

One of the ways Cacao shows his love is how he respects the boundaries of those close to him (and, in turn, expects the same for them to him. That's why he violently snaps at Clotted Cream and feels very betrayed by Vanilla for keeping Lily a secret in Odyssey) and I feel this applies to Choco the most. He understands Choco needs his time and space, especially after the whole ep 14, and won't feel comfortable around him or his kingdom for a while. There's also the chance that Choco may not want to have him in his life again (untrue) and he'd rather not risk finding out that's true by personally seeking him out and further upsetting his son. (That last one was just my interpretation but AUGH)

This is the building blocks I found for forming Frigid Cacao's side of the relationship. Should Dark Choco return to the kingdom, Frigid Cacao would feel Very Much Conflicted™️ about having him back, but for different reasons.

On one hand, he would be relieved and overjoyed to sense his son's return. There's so much lost time, so much regrets, he wanted to make up for it and rebuild his relationship anew. But on the other hand, this clashes with the Soltitude he built for himself. Accepting his son back in his life would mean breaking down his walls, thus tearing down everything he built and betraying his own light. Perhaps that part of him would also be angry that Dark Choco would impose this on him. But it saddens him to turn him away. And so on and so forth it cycles.

This duality is the internal conflict that, while it opens the gate for redemption (or at least loosen his terror and maybe actually get him outside), is also very hectic for Choco himself because it also manifests in his powers.

The licorice monsters are noticably more docile around him, but they can just as soon lash out randomly, coming in big waves and heading for only one target. The weather is constantly shifting from mild snow to freezing blizzards in minutes. The paths feel cleared out but it feels like there's always something out to get him.

That's assuming Choco didn't return to the kingdom after the Beast Yeast expedition (bc I'm assuming you're setting Cacao's fall after BY ep 4). But if he did, there's two possibilities. One is the more boring Frigid Cacao's reign didn't last really long bc Choco was there from the beginning. The other one, ooh the other one also works as a bad ending for the first scenario.

(I ended up writing a full oneshot for it. If you want, I can send it in another ask, hahaha)

As someone who hasn’t gotten to that chapter in odyssey yet (i really oughtta watch a video on it bc these quills brake for nobody), this is a really good reference for Cacao and Choco in beast ancients!! I won’t say much about Choco since yeah I’m waiting for apathy pt 2 but I’ve definitely been wanting him to be a huge source of conflict for frigid cacao in the au, and this helps describe it pretty well. Cacao’s fall is being worked on because the timeline of beast ancients is a WIP, it does come after BY 4 for all I know atm, and whatever happens to Choco in that episode will determine where he is and how he affects his dad when he becomes a beast. But the bottom line is that it is not gonna be easy for either of them either way :D

Pots, pans, and utensils clatter around the kitchen of the Dela Cruz house. Your mother groaned, putting down the knife she used to chop the potatoes. You could see the anger in her eyes when your father came home to work as he entered the house. 

"Hi, honey."

 Your father grins nervously as he smiles at your mother. You and your brother turn your heads from the TV as you look at your father, holding your laughs. You could hear the nervousness from your father's voice.

“Ano ba yan Jean! Ilang beses na ah! No shoes diyos ko! (What is that Jean! How many times already! No shoes my God!)” 

Your mother loudly scoffed, approaching your father and glaring at him.

 "I know, mon amour, and I'm so sorry, and I am also sorry for being late."

 Your father chuckles nervously, approaching your mother. He hugs her, rubbing her back, trying to calm her down. 

"Now, mon amour, care to tell me why you're so mad? Other than me?.” Your father flashed a bright smile.

 Mark laughed, sitting up from the couch as he patted his father's shoulder. 

"Mark!" Your mother glared at him, making him laugh even more.

"Sometimes I forget mama is half Filipino and half Spanish."

 Pao snickered, watching you and your Kuya James (older brother) play F1 21'. 

"Isa ka pa Paolo! (You are another one, Paolo!)."

Your mother pulled away from the hug with your father as she glared at Pao.

"AH! Ma! You are the most beautiful woman, and I love you very much."

Pao's eyes widened at his mother's yelling; he sat up, approached her, and hugged her.    Your mom snickered, wrapping his arms around Pao and hugging him. 

"You know I don't like you coming home late." Your mother pouted at your father, still hugging Pao. 

"I know, mon amour, and I'm sorry, we just had so many meetings." 

Your father apologized, kissing your mother's cheek and making your mother smile. 

"Oh hey there, honey." Your father smiled, seeing you, sitting next to you.

"Hi there, father." You giggle, smiling, putting the PS4 controller down. 

"Ah, playing F1 21'?" Your father smiled at you and James. 

"Our little girl is excited to finally attend her first F1 race." James chuckled, pinching your cheek.

"Well, it's good honey that the race we're attending is at Monza; I picked it out for you cause I know you're such a Ferrari fan."

 Your father smiled, opening his arms. Smiling happily, you bury your face in his chest, sighing contentedly. 

"Thank you, Dad." you smile, looking up at your father. 

You couldn't be happier; you've been an F1 fan for many years, yet you've never attended a race. The reason you always gave was that you were busy, especially as a supermodel, which is true, but you were scared. More than worried, you never knew why. This was how you always felt, but that didn't matter anymore; attending your first race is great, and now you're excited. Your brothers attended races except for Pao; it was both your first. 

The Dela Cruz family is a complete sports fan, except when picking teams to support, especially in Formula 1. Your father and three older brothers supported Mercedes. They always have and always will. While you were a Ferrari fan, solid, as in, and then Pao, who is the complete polar opposite of you. He was a Red Bull fan, which is crazy, and you keep saying that to him. 

Soon, Your thoughts were disturbed by a long, loud flush of the toilet coming from the bathroom, causing everyone to look at the door. Laughing as they saw your other older brother, Kuya Dan (older brother), come out of the bathroom, chuckling nervously. 

"What's up? Oh hey, dad,"  He laughs, noticing your father as he smiles, sitting beside him.

I also didn't peg Goneril as being the artsy type, but she's slinging masterpieces left and right, it's kinda awesome. The girls are all really pretty self-sufficient and are in relatively high spirits most of the time, so long as there's leftovers in the fridge for them to pilfer.

Here's all three girls as kiddos. I gotta say, Goneril is the most beautiful of the three, but Cordelia's really stealing my heart with her disheveled little weirdo look.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Part 2 - Forging new bonds in Ruan and Zeiss (CH 2 & 3)

On to Ruan! Well, chatting with everyone in Bose one last time first haha. It's nice to see the girl who eats at Anterose everyday, Alta notice the taste difference with the soup but still enjoy it, Gwen the apprentice must be so happy. She's made soup so much, I'm proud of her hard work. LOL I was going to say awww, Mina is so supportive of Harry's dream to become the man she wants him to become and then you talk to her and she's like there's no sense to squashing his dreams yet HAHAHA. The girl is ruthless, good luck Harry. I would love to see their future. I'm sad that we didn't get to see Pomme's dad come to Bose to be with his family. I hope the Ravennue Village stuff gets sorted out. On the other hand, I'm happy for Katrina! She made her fiance's cake shop super popular and now that he's been rescued, he wants to open a new shop and get that off the ground and compete with her, so cute haha. I agree with him though, she made it so successful, it would feel wrong to take it back and it'll be fun. I knew Gantz who ate her cakes everyday would be disappointed that she has a fiance lol but I guess it's nice that he's still her fan and will still eat them everyday😂 I'm glad the troubled side dish lady, Carol is finally enjoying thinking what side dishes to make for once instead of lamenting that she doesn't want to think about it anymore haha.

Ooh I guess we'll be seeing Mirano again in Ruan since her trip was only delayed because her father got held hostage so he had to keep his business deals running. Nice to know that Nigel finally got arrested with his dodgy ledgers lmao, Cornelius needs to take care of the orbal factory instead of lamenting about past failures🥲 I'm happy we found that stolen ring for Launa, her mother's memento is a very important thing, she must have been so devastated when she lost it to the bandits. Glad to know that black book was the ledger Nigel was hiding lol. I guess Leiston Fortress is a big jail, I wonder if we'll reunite there with the sky bandits and Nigel inside the jail or as visitors haha! According to the Hundred Days War book, it seems like General Morgan had a big role in the war and so I assume the mobile unit that took back checkpoint after checkpoint and turned the tides of the war back in Liberl Kingdom's favour was Cassius and others, and I guess it was during this war that he picked up Joshua. LOL at the soldier saying Estelle has tastebuds of iron to think the guy's cooking was delicious😂 Agate seems quite strong! He's right about Estelle needing to understand that they're still quite junior and shouldn't get full of themselves about becoming a senior bracer though, but of course they should still pursue it! I really hope the orphanage kids are okay, burning an orphanage down is downright vile. I'm glad everyone is fine. It seems like the mayor wants to keep a good image but also wants to get rid of the punks so it feels like there's a chance he did this to give themselves an excuse to blame the ruffians so he can get rid of them before the queen's nephew knows about this negative aspect of Ruan and just in case they do anything to him during his visit. From visiting the warehouse and chatting with them, even though they're bad, they don't seem like the type to burn an orphanage. It also seems like the mayor likes the matron who lost her husband in a seemingly suspicious death I assume. Kloe taking her rapier out and fighting to protect the kid was cool. I can see why the thug thought it was hot hahaha! Lmao at the side quest where the duke wants to reserve all the rooms at the Air Letten checkpoint and everyone's so fed up with him, even the soldier is like either persuade him or you can "nudge" him over the waterfall HAHAHA😂 Trust Estelle to get rid of him by making this place seem super dirty hahahaha. I mean to be fair, it probably isn't the cleanest place in the world so he'd probably whine after an hour and leave anyway. HAHAHA I died when Warrant Officer Kientz said couldn't the best king find a better hairdresser😂😂😂 Everyone giving the duke crap for his ugly hair😂 I'm so happy for Eletta that her family is going to the campus festival for the son, she can finally spend time with everyone.

Jenis Royal Academy, a school that's super hard to get into and prestigious yet the cafeteria only offers a vegetable sandwich. Like excuse me?!😂😂 Considering all the serious jobs Estelle and Joshua have had, it's nice to have a chill job participating in a school play! Sounds like it'll be funny! I wonder how it'll feel for them to live in the dorms since they'll be practising everyday and need to live at the school. Have Joshua and Estelle ever separated since they first met? Btw lmao at random schoolgirl Felicity who is ready to set fire to Reina's panty drawer because Reina's telling her to stop whining and do the work since she's capable. Joshua acting as a princess and Estelle being a commoner knight is a beautiful classic play that fits them good😂 As expected, Joshua looks beautiful. He's going to be stunning in the remake! I like how Estelle and Joshua get to enjoy an ordinary school life, attending lessons, eating at the cafeteria with friends and preparing for the campus festival together. It's an experience they won't get as people striving to be senior bracers so it's good for them to experience it now.

Yesss I live for the gossip and eavesdropping. Vice President of the Student Council, Hans asking Joshua about how far he's gone with Estelle and just doing general boy talk about girls is so cute. I'm sure Joshua has never really had that before so I'm very happy for him haha. I wish we got to hear more though! I wonder if Estelle will finally stop denying how she feels or could potentially feel towards Joshua once Kloe and Joshua kiss during the play. Lol they waxed poor Joshua's hair for the play😂😂 It was nice to see Maybelle here, it's to be expected that here would be her alma mater. Eletta getting to play at the campus festival is cute, lol at Gerome (her brother) getting embarrassed though but I guess he is busy haha. The duel in the play was cool! Can't wait to see that in the remake! I was wondering what Jill and Hans were doing in the background and I'm so happy they did what I wanted them to do, they got donations of 1 million mira to rebuild the orphanage! Now the matron and kids don't have to be indebted to the mayor and can stay around Ruan. I agree with the dean that what Matron Theresa should focus on is not the amount of mira but what she can do with it. I'm so glad the dean was thoughtful enough to get a bracer, I assume Carna to protect the matron and kids back to Manoria. Lmao I can't get over how this prestigious academy only sells vegetable sandwiches, the cafeteria guy even gives one to you for free after the play hahaha!

When they said a bracer would protect Matron Theresa back, I thought something would happen but that's just so cruel to attack them. It's so sweet how everyone in Manoria Village is so mad over this incident as well and are doing everything they can to cheer the children up and support them. I guess I should have expected Steward Gilbert to be evil along with the mayor that burnt down the orphanage so he can build vacation homes there but I guess I expected more from him just because he was educated at Jenis. I wonder if it's hypnosis or some kinda drug to control the sky bandit guy before and now these guys. I was wondering what the big scoop Nial was all excited about, turns out our dear mayor is in debt! Crazy mayor to just randomly raise monsters in his mansion lol. I wonder if Kloe is like the Queen's daughter or something😂 I will miss Kloe, she's a great healer. I have to agree with Estelle, Agate is really hardcore lmao, he's been chasing those black clad men for so long and with a gigantic sword to boot. Some of these students are wild, like Argyle who likes to bathe in complete darkness like wth, is all the stress from this prestigious academy getting to all of them lol. Is this why Gilbert was like that😂 OMG Ms Millia is writing up the entrance examinations this year, the one strict teacher who was evil enough to do sudden pop quizzes lol. Good luck to Antonio in Ruan who's planning to try and get in lol.

Honestly, when Amelia, resident of Manoria Village was worried for her brother Zack because he got fired from the port or something and came back to live here, I didn't have the best impression but Zack has really gone above and beyond! He's always the first one to do anything and everything when it comes to the village whether it be going to Ruan for help, assisting people and now offering to help rebuild, definitely the best guy in Manoria Village. I feel sorry for the engineer Clive and his little brother Todd. We've seen throughout all this time that Clive works very hard and has dreams in designing new orbments etc but turned down being a guest engineer at Zeiss because he wants to care for his brother here and Todd feels like he's a burden when Clive merely prioritises him above all else. I hope they stay happy, Clive can still be a great engineer here. It's interesting to see the disparity on who should be the new mayor. For the tourism industry, people want Norman, whereas for the port, people want Portos. Personally I'm in favour of the latter because I think by favouring tourism as they did for so long, the city lost its beauty in its fish and shipments. They don't have to solely focus on it considering how much tourism is booming but it shouldn't be neglected as it is that Portos can't even repair his crane. I haven't drawn anything in almost 5 years and when I did I used to draw with traditional media (watercolor, charcoal, colored pencils, gouche and acrylic paints 🖌️).

But since October (from last year), when I saw Harry Collett as Prince Jacaerys, I felt a desire to draw that I hadn't felt in a long time ❣️.

This is my first time trying to draw in digital media, I hope you like what you see! 😘 (YouTube tutorials don't fail me now! 😭). I spent the whole summer practicing🥺.
