Endeavor is not the only one to blame for ruining the family. Rei is equally to blame for ruining the family as well. She is a completely TERRIBLE and SHIT mother. Has done absolutely NOTHING for her kids. She neglected Dabi, Fuyumi and Natsuo. Willing to replace her own son by creating another kid. That fucked up. Had creepy disturbing thoughts against her own kids just coz they look like their father. Getting slapped is no fucking excuse to further neglect all of her kids by running away and abusing Shoto. As a mother she has no responsibility whatsoever. Rei is no victim. Rei is an abuser who got what she deserved. There's no point in complaining about Endeavor all the time but glorifying Rei. Both are equally bad parents. If you still don't realise that then please don't be a mom. #FuckRei #WorstMotherEver #KillRei
Okay, first of all how about you calm down? We don’t even know each others, but you come into my inbox asking for a not so civil discussion? Yooooo 😂😂😂
And you know what? Yes, Endeavor is entirely to blame actually because everything that happened is a consequence of his big ass man actions and yes, Rei wasn’t a good mother (Nobody said the contrary), but at least she tried unlike someone else who was way too self-absorbed to see anyone else aside from his egotistical self and his selfish goal.
“She neglected her kids”, Well of course she did! Every 2/3 business days she was busy popping out kids like a children machine and not being able to say anything back, otherwise her good-for-nothing and abusive “Husband” would beat her up and blame everything on her. Oh! What a coincidence! Just like how you did right now! Crazy, right? 😃
But what some of you peoples in this fandom fail miserably to grasp, because blinded way too much by whatever you see in Endeavor (or just because you guys like to Victim Blame), is that when the Himura’s sold her to Enji, Rei was prolly underage. Why underage? Easy. Enji is 45 when he’s introduced, while Touya is 24 right? 45-24= 21 and since ALL the married couples in Bnha have a 4 years gap (go check it on their Wikis mwah) and math isn’t an opinion: 21-4= 17 everyone! Wohoo. Right?
Rei was sold to the Todoroki’s when she was underage, but not only that… Enji has groomed her for years, then he started to spiral over greed, fame and power after he found out his child couldn’t achieve for him something that he can’t achieve on his own, because he’s a useless and self-centered beast.
Unlike him who is a whole ass adult when Touya is born, Rei is extremely young AND has become a mother for the very first time so without the guidance and the emotional support of someone who has already been a parent before her, I find it hard to for a woman to deal with both postpartum depression and rising a child alone the way she did at fucking 17 guys. And she has dealt with this over and over for four-freaking-times; Natsuo and Shoto’s ones were even worse because from the scenes alone (manga speaking) you can clearly tell Enji has forced himself on her for the last twos, furthermore Enji beats her up and from Fuyumi, Natsuo and Shoto’s reaction you can tell it wasn’t the first nor the last time since it has gone to the point where Rei was traumatized so bad that she started hallucinating of Enji’s gaze in her kids’ eyes made her have a mental breakdown. That’s how much he has abused her. All this because her husband was too focused on grooming first his wife and then his kids for the sake of a goal he didn’t have the balls to try reach by himself and projecting his insecurities on his family, because he isn’t enough of a man and pisses in his pants only at the mention of All Might’s name. I can’t take such a subject seriously, if I gotta be honest.
Mind you, this madness continued even after Touya’s death. It was during that arc, after she had dealt with four postpartum depression, depression, the pain of the knowledge that her husband has abused her mentally, physically and sexually and the death of her 13 years old son that everything went downhill for her; yet some of you guys act surprised when she had a mental breakdown? Rei had been in a constant state of brainstorming since Natsuo’s birth, if not even earlier, until she didn’t broke down completely after Touya’s passing. So yeah, maybe she wasn’t the best mother for the Todoroki siblings, but ever since she gave birth to Touya, Rei has been trying her best to be there for them and at the same time preserve her sanity. Because in a situation where she had to deal with four kids and a manchild, someone had to try and keep a semblance of balance in there even if she was one of Endeavor’s victims who’s mental health was being destroyed by a lot.
As I already said, some of you guys in this fandom lack a great amount of emotional intelligence and dare I say most of you lack depth too. I don’t expect you guys to be the most empathetic peoples in the world, really, I don’t, but this is a tad bit too much. Do you guys even try to look beyond your own noses anymore? Or has that gone out of fashion?
Also, what’s this new trend of Victim Blaming peoples who came out of an abusive environment? That’s so… Ambiguous…
Anyways! All this didn’t end for good until the whole of Japan found out his son is a Villain and he waited to beg for forgiveness (something he should’ve done sooner), only when everyone has been caught into the hurricane and almost got offed entirely as a family, which is (if you ask me, since you in my inbox) the most unattractive thing a man of his big ass age could ever do.
Everyone, stay away from peoples who lack accountability and self-awareness, because they’re going to play your mental health like a fidget spinner bubs 🫶🏻💜
Last but not least: if you want to talk this way to me and especially about such topics that bad, don’t do it on Anonymous because I will hardly take you seriously.
All this being said and cleared out of the way, hope you have a good evening 💜

Why do you believe Toya won't die? He's basically a burnt corpse that can no longer move and barely talk. Horikoshi's writing could be changed to emphasize how the family can now fully move on from Toya and Endeavor and it was a Greek Tragedy on Endeavor's end while hopeful for Shoto.
This is not a Greek tragedy, it's a Japanese shounen manga that focuses on kids becoming heroes.
"He's basically a burnt corpse" isn't it just lovely then that a fantasy story about people who have varying superpowers could so easily fix that?
I'm sorry you guys have never read stories where people look like they are beyond saving or actually dead, only to come back just fine because the author said so.
The only tragic part is the fandom being so dead set on the villains dying somehow being a satisfying conclusion rather than the tragic part of this only being that such a conclusion would be poor writing.
The themes of the story have been uplifting, focusing on the fact that people can get better in the right environment and if given a second chance.
"The family can now fully move on from Touya" and that is shown where? I see nothing but people being hopeful for a future where they can talk to him after ten years of being separated from him. The family does not want to move on from him. They want to talk to him, want to come see him. They had ten years to move on from him and couldn't, so suggesting that finding out that instead of dying before, he had been alive and physically and mentally suffering this entire time, is somehow the magic ingredient that was missing from their ability to move on is beyond me.
It is also unclear to me how it would be "hopeful" for Shouto to know he was able to prolong someone's life by a few weeks and have that person find closure before death like that somehow is the mark of a successful hero. He wants a relationship with his brother - wants to get to know him, have soba with him, hang out with him. That has been his goal since being a kid and wouldn't it be nice if he could get that?
Touya has been surviving a lot and as said before, if Horikoshi had wanted him dead, he could have done so at the end of the war instead of keeping him alive so that his dad can tell him he's retiring.
If you want to worry and tell yourself Touya and the rest of the lov are dying, I won't stop you but this idea is simply not supported by the story and with only 4 more chapters left, some of you should maybe just wait it out silently instead of spreading fear and holding on to this tragic mindset the same way Touya has been holding on to life.

New MHUI LoV event stuff
first of all - if you follow the news on the new characters even a little - a new UR Shigaraki Tomura came out today (16th of June) he came with a LoV event as they usually do and this one is basically a filler for the time before Star and Stripe arc happened but after Tomura got his mix-match outfit of his own and AFO's choices
and while it is Tomura-centric event it's heavy on stuff with Spinner. He's basically like a second main character of this short thing
The filler answers question on what was LoV doing while Izuku left UA and it uses manga side material as help, because it was stated that Skeptic helped LoV to get new clothes for the Final arc as well as weapons.
A story of event is basically "someone tries to rob us we neew to stop them" while Spinner is questioning if they are really dealing with Tomura anymore, with some interesting localization choises Spinner noticed the Ore vs. Boku thing while Tomura was talking
As it is a turn for a short event we get like 3 parts with Tomura easily defeating the guys who tried to rob that one place
And it's nothing really if you don't count the way Tomura speaks which is really creepy to hear his gaming words while he's also clearly doesn't understand anything anymore what made Tomura Tomura
It's basically what if those chapters before Star and Stripe made Tomura lose it were a story on their own with Tomura still unsure on who he is, but LoV is literally there and they talk about it more than we ever saw them in the manga for... reasons that manga doesn't have filler. At all.
At least not with LoV involved
At the end of it while Spinner is still concerned it all ends with AFOmura or whatever this guy should be called at that point of the story stops questioning it and just agrees with Spinner's question
If you're a manga reader it's worse than just a talk
It also has an interesting point, but sadly as it's a pre-Star and Stripe arc Tomura anything he says doesn't really matter as much
Everything else are basically details, I recommend this event tho, it's not that hard to get all of the story, it's worth having in the MHUI archives
As for other things, more or less harmless - there's an event SR Memory with Toga and Machia and a cards set, the same one Tomura had mostly in the anime
Recruit is standart with a UR Memory for the new character and a SR Memory which is helpful in the event
As for the less neutral stuff I got into the event as soon as I noticed it began and the first thing was to go into the recruit for the new Tomura
got him right away so it was fun and with this my Tomura collection is once again is one off, his first UR is still absent on my account, but 5 characters make a team
Didn't have a motivation to play the event with SR Tomura as my game had an error with dialogue, but I got him at least
Tried playing with him while clearing the event, he has a new battle star animation, battle end animation and of course his own ult animation
He's fun to play with, and that actually got me back into MHA as I was slowly losing my will to still do anything connected to it aside from this game
A small thing that I found interesting was that his recruit voiceline is Tomura's speech from back in 222
Interesting choice as none of old ones had something connected to this chapter
Other than that his Base talks are the same and his reactions in Trust menu are the same too
As usual MHUI LoV events are the best in delivering events with stories that belong in canon and it's easy to imagine them there
#bnha#not art#mhui#shigaraki tomura#tenko shimura#league of villains#toga himiko#toya todoroki#dabi#spinner#shuichi iguchi#and others#like you can see Twice and Kurogiri at the Base#the only problem I have is that characters are more and more Club Festival and Arena oriented#just not my thing but the usual content is getting too easy for me too#as it is I like this event#in a way#I try to focus on something less depressive and more interesting for me#the funny thing was gifting my Tomura a ton of things to level up his monthly trust and after that I did his recruit and he came#it's the easiest Tomura ever and it's so scary as it's not exactly Tomura he usually takes years to come#analysed some things for hours before the event started#anyway good luck on your pulls if you try to do this

i dont think ill ever recover from the pure tragedy that is Touya Todorokis story/life. Genuinely the ending did mental damage to me
#arson yaps#touya todoroki#todoroki touya#Literally what the fuck was that ending for him#I find all the villains endings to be very unsatisfying but touya was my favorite from the beginning#dabi was just an interesting guy with a very cool character design and then we got his backstory and it was just. Interesting!#hes still a huge fave and i just. Brother euw about the ending#Its hard tp put into words exactly what i hate so much about it but Endeavor not facing real consequences for his actions#And how it all fell into place. We dont even know if touya is alive by the official ending. hes just in some tank basically stuck#its sad. its depressing and its not a fit ending for the story and what i thought the meaning was#none of the villains got an ending that made sense for them#nothing really changed. we didn’t seem to learn anything#its a fantasy it really wouldn’t have been so difficult to show at least some of the villains getting a sort of redemption#i think theres just lots of lost potential in the canon ending#shout out to fanfic though. in my heart all the villains are alive and got that damn therapy and its all happy#(with y’know the product of their goals and the heroes its not perfect bc nothing is yaadada)#mha#mha dabi#dabi#and FUCK ENDEAVOR

touya dying and endeavor living with basically zero consequences IS wild tho
#dabi#touya todoroki#like all the league dying presumably because hori couldn't figure out how to redeem them but makes us watch a full redemption#for a dude that practiced eugenics on his kids and beat and raped his wife was certainly a narrative choice#and not once but TWICE did a child abuser get redemption#writer to writer I really am so curious why chisaki was saved but not touya shiggy or toga#who are arguably more popular and narratively important overall#so many extremely strange decisions going on in this ending I can't even be depressed anymore I'm just confused

These panels are similar to me
The first one is Toga in 348 after she talks to Izuku and Ochako, then her eyes are shown, tired and worn, which considering the events that follow, means she has given up trying to get through to them
The second one is Dabi in 389 just before he explodes, seeing how he finally has everyone’s attention but at the cost of his life. He got what he wanted but it’s (seemingly) too late
I think the thing these two panels have in common is giving up. Both people are giving up on the idea of a happy future or being saved
For Toga, she got to talk to the people she admires, but they basically rejected her in her eyes. The question she asked before on Machia’s back (”If they killed Jin-kun, will they kill me too?”) is answered by how, even when she tries to talk about relating to Ochako or wanting to connect with both Izuku and Ocha, they continue to fight her on her wants. And that’s the moment she snaps. That’s the moment the question is answered, in her mind, and she gives up
For Dabi, I don’t think it’s a case of feeling like he is not wanted in this moment, but rather that it got up to a point where there was no going back anymore. Moments before he explodes, he has everyone’s attention on him, they all want him to stop and they all want him alive, but he’s literally just about to end his life. As he recognizes this, he thinks “If it really was that simple, it should’ve been sooner.”, as in they should have looked at him sooner, paid attention to him sooner. But it’s too late for him now, or so he think. He gives up because there’s no other choice in this moment - it has gotten to a point where he cannot control himself or his end anymore
That’s my interpretation of these eyes
Of course, we know hope is not lost with these two. In these moments above, sure, it looks like there’s no options left, looks like Toga and Dabi believe that too. But we know, in reality, Ochako and Shouto haven’t given up
#sadness and depression but hope in the darkest of moments go brrrrr#bnha#bnha 389#bnha manga spoilers#bnha spoilers#toga himiko#dabi todoroki#touya todoroki#shouto todoroki#ochako uraraka#mettys posts#metty posts

It's a fundamental "something's wrong" feeling. It aches in his chest, weighing him down as though his bones were made of lead. It makes him sluggish, tired, feeling like he's wading through mud every waking moment. It's always been with him, he thinks. Something's always been wrong. He's always been uncomfortable, to a certain degree.
The sun hurts his eyes like it has a personal vendetta against him. It burns. Sometimes his friends burn him too. They're just too bright, he prefers to stick to his shadows, where it's safe. Not comfortable, but safe. Because this feeling, as heavy as it is, it's always been there. Even though it weighs him down and stops him from taking true full breaths.
"This is my fault", he often thinks, "no one else has lead in place of a heart". And the "something's wrong" becomes "something's wrong with me", "I am doing something wrong." "How could I possibly be worth anything?" "No one wants me."
He folds in on himself, pulling away from his friends. "They won't notice."
And they don't, not until it's too late.

Bakugou is my coma baby
now why would you say this to me☹️
(warning: hospital and wounds under the cut).
(there are good days and bad days for bakugo -- it's funny. how he came home tormented, not haunted by the memories of battle like one might expect (or assume, in some cases), but by his stay at the hospital, smelling of sweat and stale sheets, dried blood and ivory soap. you can still find the scar where they stapled his skull back together, most often when he wakes from a nightmare and you're there to soothe him back down into some sort of sleepless rest, the tips of your fingers running back and forth over the puckered plateau. the notches are just the same as when you carded your fingers through his hair in the hospital, when everyone was waiting for him to wake up, the both of you only teenagers.
he doesn't make a show of it, doesn't complain about the steady-growing weight of exhaustion that's clouding his mind. bakugo simply carries on as if he's the same person he was before the war, as if it's easy work, to stand and shout confidences he no longer feels.
you're the only person who can really see, that no matter how he wants to carry on, no matter how much he wants, fights, to be the person who he was before he died... there are some things that can't be recovered.)
#bakugo#ANON. WHY.#had to drabble a bit to truly express my feelings on this thought bc. it's too large for me to comprehend without writing an ESSAY#on bakugo being a coma baby. like realistically i dont think it's so depressing but like. you are so f*cking right !!!!#dabi and sho are my alligator blood <3#i could give all of them a song and a story#i love all her stuff beyond words but curdled milk is SUCH an album#her thematic cohesion is UNMATCHED#hope this was alright!!#nicole#gen#caitie post#anon

I find it weird that people call Tomura "crusty."
As someone who has eczema, that's not how that works. Turns out homeboy always had eczema and wasn't a manifestation of his quirk. I think people need to realize that eczema can flair up because of stress. And... considering the things Tomura's been through, I'm not surprised he's so itchy. Tomura has severe eczema. I'm pretty sure when Tomura has the time for it, dude does use moisturizers and lip balm. It hurts like Hell if you don't use that stuff. Like some of y'all are the same people in real life who tell me to do x, y, and z when I've already done x, y, and z.
Do research before calling Tomura "crusty". It's severely ableist.
#mha#my hero academia#shimura tenko#tenko shimura#shigaraki tomura#tomura shigaraki#mha fanbase can be grossly ableist#like calling dabi burnt wtf is wrong with you.#this is why i hate the “w/o scars” edit shit#he's perfectly beautiful with his eczema scars put them back.#“but he doesn't take care of himself daily!!!”#a) he has depression. shit such as showering can be draining#b) afo purposely never taught him how to take care of himself#c) he was homeless for the majority of the series sit tf down

Need//Dabihawks quirkless au// cW: references to abuse, suicidal ideation (brief), angst, hurt/comfort
Keigo called Touya late one night during a horrible typhoon, a sobbing mess.
He couldn't quite understand much of what he blubbered into the phone, but he did manage to make out three simple words that made his heart drop a twenty story height:
"I want out."
To be frank, when Keigo said that Touya did not take it as he wanted to grab all of his things and move out of his house that night in the middle of the pouring rain, though it was much better than the alternative running round in his head while he sped through hail.
When he kicked in the door, he found Keigo packing. His golden eyes were red and his cheeks were tear stained, but he moved with determination, with intent. He didn't even stop to let Touya know what happened.
And Touya didn't ask. In fact, the only thing he did ask was "Where do you need me?"
Together, they packed Keigo's things into whatever empty box or grocery bag was left in the house. They didn't fold, wrap, or roll up anything. They didn't give a damn about whether the house they bought wasn't ready for another week. They could've given less of a fuck if their frantic packing left holes in the walls or drawers ripped from their sockets.
They threw all of things into whatever fit whether they could or not and, once they had completely erased Keigo's existence from the house in under two hours, they piled it all onto the bed of Touya's truck and sped away in silence.
They death gripped each other's hands for the entire drive. They didn't even let go when Touya went to pick the lock to their new house. (It was very difficult to get the door open).
When all was said and done; when Touya and Keigo – both sopping wet and exhausted – staggered into the house and crashed onto the staging couch left in the living rooms left by the realtors, Keigo broke down into sobs.
He wailed louder than Touya ever heard him – if he ever heard him cry that hard at all. It shook the walls and rattled Touya's ribcage as he let his tears stain Touya's chest.
And all Touya could do was hold onto him for dear life until he stopped.
He doesn't remember when exactly he fell asleep. He hadn't planned to. For the first hour that Keigo cried, he forced his brain to stay awake to ensure that he would still be holding Keigo when and if the morning came the next day.
The only thing he knew was that he had fallen asleep, and when he had woken up, Keigo was gone, with only his impression left in the couch and mud covered boots it left at the foot of it.
Touya bolted up, head whipping around in fifty different directions.
"Kei?" He called, getting up to urgently search the property, "Keigo!"
"In here!" Keigo chirped from the kitchen…happily?
Touya sighed, relieved. He jogged from the living room into the kitchen, his worry reinstilled instead at the sight in front of him.
Keigo was at the stove, humming away while eight different things cooked and burned on the stove top. There were groceries covering the countertops. Some of them were knocked over and spilled on the floor, though he wasn't sure if Keigo noticed or not.
He carefully approached, anxiously taking in the scene. "Uh, Angel?"
Keigo whipped around, a faux serene smile stretching uncomfortably across his face. "Morning!"
"What's all this?"
"Hm? Oh! I got up early to get some groceries and I thought I would make you breakfast!"
"You…didn't have to."
Keigo just waved him off, "It's fine! Sit down! It'll be ready soon!"
Touya sighed through his nose. He walked fully into the kitchen. He picked up the scattered things across the ground and carefully placed them on the counters as he floated by the stove tops, shutting them off one by one until he got to Keigo.
He gently reached for the spatula Keigo held with one hand, switched off the final flame with the other, and turned Keigo toward him, lightly putting his hands on his shoulders.
"Hey."
"Uh…hey?"
"Can we…can we talk about what happened last night?"
The smile fell from Keigo's face, eyes shooting open on genuine fear that made Touya's heart clench.
"Nevermind, we don't have to–"
"No! It's…it's fine. We…we should probably talk, yeah."
"Do you wanna talk here or…?"
Keigo anxiously grabbed his arm, rubbing it up and down, "Um…can we sit down, or something?"
Touya nodded, "Yeah, of course."
They took each other's hands. Touya led the way to the staged kitchen table. He pulled his chair closer to Keigo's as they sat down.
They didn't say anything for a good three minutes, much like the previous night. Touya didn't try to force or coax anything out of Keigo, and for the first time in a while, Keigo didn't feel the need to spit out a stream of faux consciousness to fill the silence or have an answer prepared and out there.
They just sat there, hand in hand and in somewhat uncomfortable silence.
Keigo gave Touya's hand a hard squeeze before speaking.
"Um, I'm sorry about – about what happened last night, with the phone call and–"
"Hey, hey," Touya shook his head, cupping his cheek, "Don't apologize for that. You obviously needed me, and you know I'm always gonna be there when you do."
Keigo avoided Touya's eyes, looking all around the room while his hand continued to rub up and down his preoccupied arm. "I just…I thought I could make it, you know? I thought I could make it to the end of the week and then I'd never have to see them again. Clean break! But then…"
He carded a hand through this disheveled hair, "I got into a fight with my mom again. It was a stupid, stupid fight. And then my dad came in, and we just started screamin' at each other again and then he–"
Keigo winced. He turned his head up to the ceiling, desperately blinking back tears. Touya squeezed his hand tighter as he gnawed at the inside of his cheek.
"This is so fucking stupid–"
"No, no. It's fucking stupid, Kei. They were hurting you."
"I'm 23 and I still couldn't do it, Tou. I couldn't stand up to him – I couldn't do anything. It was like I was a kid again and I…," Keigo's gaze fell down to his lap, "I couldn't do it…"
Touya sucked his teeth. He pulled Keigo into his embrace. The second his arms wrapped around Keigo's, he felt him starting to cry again.
"I wouldn't care if you were fucking 50. What they did – what they're doing to you," he gripped Keigo's shirt, "it's fucked up. That's it. It's fucked up and you have every right to be pissed and sad and whatever else you're feelin' right now. Just because they kept telling you they couldn't, doesn't make it true."
Keigo let out a shuddering breath, "I can't take it anymore, Touya. I can't do it alone, I can't –"
"And you won't, okay? You won't. We're far away from them now, and if they even try to come near you, I won't fucking let 'em."
"I'm scared, Touya."
Touya pressed a kiss to his temple, "I know, Kei, I know. But you're not alone, okay? I'm gonna be here. I'm gonna be here no matter what. I'm not gonna let them hurt you again, you hear? Never again."
Keigo nodded. He sobbed loudly into Touya's shoulder as Touya gently ran his fingers through his hair, whispering soft reassurances into his ear.
With each wail, Touya tried not to tremble or cry himself but God, he hated it.
He hated how much the decimated any and all self worth Keigo had been trying to recover. He hated how he didn't see the signs sooner, how he didn't get Keigo out of that house sooner so he didn't have to go through all of this hell by himself every time he went home.
He hated a million things but he couldn't dwell on those things anymore. What could have been was just that, and as much as he wanted Keigo to scream at him for all of his failures, Keigo needed him.
And if all he needed him for was to sit there quietly while he fell apart in his arms, then he'd do it.
At least then, he'd be there to help pick the pieces and start again.
