Hey Y’all, dumb idea

What if we all collectively made dumb lil posts where we narrate Dave’s daily life like a David Attenborough documentary?

I just think that’d be really funny.

Actually tbh it’s not the only reason I think he’s lizard like. His appearance in the tapes has a lot of very specific random traits like how his fingers look matching a lot of lizards, his visible lack of a nose and ears (which goes for a lot of characters but still) and the fact that his neck always gave off snake vibes for me.

I know it’s probably not canon and my actual belief on the matter is that Dave is some kind of alien because Jack compares him to at one point, he’s kinda strange in general, it could explain a lot of his traits, and it weirdly makes sense for his backstory too.

I just really like lizards, he’s got a lot of lizard traits and if you take the scaly hyde literally he probably is one, so I jokingly call him a lizard because he’s da big lizor, our lizor and saviour, aubergine man.

I didn’t want to mention this but I can’t hold this info in any longer,

I love the Dave being a lizard bit a lot because of his “scaly hide” comment however,

This is actually a metaphor that people have and do use around the place that I live, it’s more referring to older or more scarred or callused skin, usually used as a joking term about ones self as a form of self deprecation while also making light of their age,

It’s pretty much an old phrase that I guess has been fazed out over time.

Many of the people who live “near” are of way older generations,

In fact I have family that have used the phrase as well,
