        𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐕𝐄𝐒 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐏𝐎𝐂𝐊𝐄𝐓𝐒 𝐓𝐎 get rid of some of the chill while the other holds the end of a cigarette to her lips.    a breath is taken in , smoke filling her lungs , before it’s pushed back out again—brows furrow in confusion at the others words, lips momentarily pressed together as if hesitant to even say anything.   upon first seeing them , not even noticing the blood yet , riley had a chill run up the length of her spine. something about this woman was . . 𝙳𝙸𝙵𝙵𝙴𝚁𝙴𝙽𝚃   in a way that couldn’t be explained yet.   being a medium was more than nosebleeds or seeing those who struggle to pass on . . it was feelings, flashes of things you weren’t even present for.    invasive not only to her, but to the person.     ;       something she couldn’t control  &&  often times despised entirely.   a step is taken forward, green eyes widening when she sees the splattering of blood on the other.   ❝  i didn’t ask if ya hurt someone.  ❞   levels the woman carefully—friend or enemy was yet to be seen. was she a murderer , whoever she was , or someone that just needed some   𝓱𝓮𝓵𝓹   ?   ❝  i asked if you were alright.  ❞   another step ,  ❝  that’s alotta blood, sweetheart.   do ya need some help  ?   i-i can try to help ya.   what happened ?  ❞    tone is calm, cautious all the same. cigarettes is flicked onto wet pavement , hand returned to her pocket.

       𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐀 𝐂𝐀𝐍’𝐓 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐏 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐒𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐒 𝐀𝐒  it turns toothy.   the others words made her chuckle just because of the sheer amount of danger she had been in with the avengers   &&   now that danger she could be in as she figures out how to be ‘the scarlet witch.’   leaning forward, hands place themselves against the glass she’d been drinking out of   &&   silence overcomes them as she considers.   a hum follows along with a nod of her head.   ❝  depends on what the danger is for.  ❞    seems a   𝙻𝙾𝙶𝙸𝙲𝙰𝙻   answer considering what her life has been so far—being an avenger made wanda feel as if she could do some good with the power she was given.     ;      she didn’t want to be a villain, she didn’t want to hurt people , but the darkhold , fingers still stained black despite the destruction of it , her changed her more than she expected.  ❝  being in danger for those you love , even for people you just want to protect , is worth it.  ❞   spoken very factually , firm in the decision.      ❝  but , reckless danger . . danger without a cause or reason . . doesn’t seem worth it.  ❞   head of red hair gives a shake, a drink taken taken her cup.   ❝  if I’m going to put myself in danger , I’d rather it be for something. don’t you ?  ❞
