Which Raph do you prefer? 12? Bay? 03 or 07?

I really had to think about this, so sorry it so long to answer.

I grew up with 12. I like how he's protective of Mikey. He's also very expressive, and I love his romance with Mona.

I don't know much about 03, haven't watched a lot of that show. I like his tough guy act, and I feel like he's the main reason Raph's have a Brooklyn accent.

And Bay Raph is more different, keeping the key details. I love how his fighting with Leo is less 'I wanna be leader' and more thinking of things Leo doesn't, like Mikey's vote.

But I LOVE Raph in 07. It's an underrated movie. Along with becoming Nightwatcher, struggling with understanding and conveying his feelings, and genuinely wanting good for his brothers through Leo being gone... he's also left handed. Like, the designers of the movie CHOSE him to be left handed. So that's one of the things that puts him higher on the list.

Raph's awesome, in any version.

Donnie has never really held a baby before. It’s not like his particular lifestyle leaves much room for such occasion, so when April is handing over the small bundle of slightly squirming yellow blankets, he kind of just… freezes.

“Dude! She is so tiny!” That’s Michelangelo’s voice ringing out loud and true for the umpteenth time now, unable to adjust his volume as requested, a round of shushing directed his way before he half way retreats his head into his shell. “Sorry,” he says somewhat sheepishly, a smile etched across his face still.

It was no secret that Mike was exceptionally good with kids. Maybe it was because he was still, undoubtedly somewhat of a kid himself, but his brief stint in the children’s entertainment industry, as trying as it was for him, seemed to just fit him right. He had that kind of face that babies loved. He was the type of guy that could just hold an infant in his arms and they’d stop crying in an instant. It was like, his superpower on top of being a mutant turtle.

“Don?” April’s voice makes him gravitate back towards his senses. He’s just been standing idle in the middle of the room feeling kind of stiff and awkward. “Did you wanna hold her still?”

She’s looking hopeful, as most new parents do in these beginning moments. They’re supposed to be her uncles - and this is their first official meeting. Leo’s already cooed over her and Raph and Casey had some macho thing going on between them both, which totally wasn’t a front as to how emotional they were over the whole thing, and Splinter has had his fair share of cuddles, cradling her close and sharing rehashed stories of his own children’s infant years, much like a grandfather would do.

Now it’s his turn. And he’s not so sure he wants it to be. “Uh. Yeah,” he says despite himself, holding out his arms for the baby to be passed over to him. “Sure.”

There’s suddenly a very small weight in his hold, and he quickly and rather instinctively presses her close towards his plastron. She starts to murmur in her sleep, tiny button nose starting to scrunch up, Donnie feels the beginnings of panic swell up in his throat.

It looks as if she’s about to cry, already missing the comfort of her mother, Donnie is ready to hand her back — he can’t quite face the humiliation of being the one brother bad with babies, but all of a sudden he little eyes open, dark and curious and they meet his, scanning over his face, and she stills.

“She likes you, Dee,” Mikey gushes, craning his neck over to get another close up view of her. He’s able to keep his voice to a more appropriate noise level this time. “I’m like so in love.”
