Okay, fuck I'm in a writing mood ever since I got caught in a Bleach Fever again.

Shoutout to @cheshiresense, (Hannibal voice) I love your work. Your Gesso!Ichigo made me want to explore my own take since KHR is also a longtime favorite of mine.

Okay, so Ichigo (and most of the Bleach ensemble) in KHR-verse. No Shinigami business here.

I don't want to overthink much, and this more barebones and headcanon than an actual coherent fic but...

KHR Future Arc with Ichigo in Byakuran's place. Let's say an incident happens in the past where Ichigo's guardians bar Urahara were offed one by one. Be it Aizen, assassination, or deemed too powerful to exist.

Ywach was an Earthling who got drunk on the power of the Mare Ring. Kawahira managed to subdue him, but Ywach's power and madness lingered within the ring.

After the first three official bearers of the ring succumbed to madness, the fourth and his trusted brother in all but blood proposed to Kawahira a solution. All future bearers need a tether, to help dampen the Mare's hold on their sanity. Kawahira surprisingly agrees, and boom Quincy cross for the tether.

Gesso and the Wandenreich are a long time alliance, close family ties and all, dating back to fourth Mare Ring holder.

Ichigo and Bya-Bya are cousins from the mother side, and Isshin is one of the heirs of a Gotei 13 group.

Ichigo is Byakuran's tether, just as Masaki was to Bya's father.

The loss of most his guardian bonds nearly sent him to full discord. The crack in his mental defenses gave way for Ywach's madness to infect him. And being Bya's tether, Ichigo clouds Bya's senses to avoid suspicion (basically doing what Byakuran did to Yuni)

He asks Urahara if it was possible to pull another being from a parallel universe and if they can be stabilized. Urahara doesn't suspect anything at first, just relieved that his Sky has something to diatract himself with. Also, his scientist senses are also tingling.

Urahara, being the genius that he is, was able to come up with a prototype. And after a lot of testing, was finally able to pull an actual person without collapsing the home dimension too much or the person itself.

When Ichigo pulls an oddly skittish Tatsuki, Urahara realizes what Ichigo is planning. No amount of convincing seemed to work and when he finally deigned to examine their flame bond, the usual bright Sky Flame that entwined with his Stormy Mist is now blindingly bright and a silvery orange.

Urahara is at a loss and reluctantly helps Ichigo collect his guardians from parallel dimension. Each one as broken as the next. Until he meets Shoichi and plans with Future Tsuna.

Urahara defects to help Vongola, and the pain in his bond almost makes him want to abandon the plan altogether.

He is horrified when they finally meet again on opposite sides of the battlefield. Crouched near Ichigo like a demented shadow is a mirror of his past self, but with grey eyes devoid of humanity.

Next will probably be my headcanon on the alternate guardian's back stories. Tell me if y'all interested (I'll probs do it anyway lmao)
