Techno and oranges

I've done 91km today so I will try to keep this brief. Essentially today has been excellent. Perhaps it's because I opted for some indulgence and a bath in a cheap hotel, perhaps it's because I found the Via Rhona cycle path and was thus able to use my headphones. Today I was making great progress before I even got onto the joys of Booka Shade, the Crystal Method and Evil Nine's Fabric mix. After my ovary-induced melancholy, I'd found that actually I was a bad ass mother who don't take no crap from nobody. That's a Cool Runnings quote for those who don't do such high culture. Today has awesome scenery and lovely French people. Today I was cycling with a big smile, feeling like I'd made all the best decisions in life. Today I just wanted to keep cycling and cycling. Today had a fabulous sunset. Today was going so well and then a German cyclist rocked up at dusk and said hi. We are now camped in a really gorgeous spot and were checking out the stars. Today's only minus is that I lost my bag of clementines which I'd been looking forward to. Strangely the German found them on the path and had eaten them! I felt better eating all his bread and croissants. Let's hope tomorrow is as good as today.
