Can I make a request for headcanons on Vox and the reader is his clingy teen daughter? She's always following him around, randomly hugging him, always rambling to him or gossiping with him, whenever they sit together she just leans on him or puts her head on his lap and asks him to check her hair for bugs (she just wants him to run his hands through)

I'm using a older header I made ages ago for vox here, might keep this one because I really like how it looks

HEADCANON TIME

You know when someone thinks of father - daughter bonding activities FALLING TO HELL ISN'T ONE OF THEM.

I imagine you'll look alot like Vox, minus the TV head [and lack of hair] maybe like a cyborg?? Robot?? Or maybe YOU DO HAVE A TV HEAD and wires that act like hair?? I don't know that's up to you,

Father daughter hats, matching hats you have matching hats.

As Vox is the tech guy of hell you get ALL THE NEW ELECTRONICS, newest phone even if you don't want it, top of the line laptops, you like those little electronic toys? He'll give em' to you,

Furbys are banned though they remind him of Alastor, you used to call him Uncle Alastor. When they used to be buddies

Valentino needs to be supervised by either Vox himself or Velvette if he's near you.

Honestly Valentino acts like a creepy step parent, you should totally rip out his other antenna.

Velvette on the other hand IS YOUR OLDER SISTER PR COUSIN FIGURE, she uses you as a model sometimes, you're always dressed in whatever is trending or whatever is trending in the aesthetic you like.

I imagine when Vox has his meetings you're just chillin' in the back playing on your hell-tendo switch and adding in your two cents every once in a while.

Vox could be yelling at someone for being incompetent or something and you just prance on in like "PAPA I REQUIRE AFFECTION" and just hug him, he stops for like two seconds to give you attention and then goes back to yelling at the poor sinner who mucked up.

I can see you kinda being apart of the Vee's but not officially yet since you're not an overlord, but once you become one you'll get assigned a V name or something probably I don't know. Maybe they start calling you violin or violence

Honestly I can see vox's daughter as someone very into fandom spaces and Internet culture [like on the CUSP of chronically online but not exactly crossing that boundary yet, YET.]

I imagine you wait outside of his door at like 6:30 am when he wakes up just so when he goes to make himself coffee he's just JUMPSCARED by you,

"ACK WHO THE FU- Oh good morning sweetie why are you awake- did did you sleep at all??"

"nope, I binged watched a show, that being said, SO THE PLOT IS -"

And you just ramble while he's groggily making coffee.

I don't think he'd be one to care about gossip all that much unless it involves someone he's interested in COUGH, COUGH ALASTOR COUGH COUGH ACK

But he'll listen to you go on about how someone in one of the fandom communities you're in got into a scandal because they apparently pissed off 'Arson Carson ' on sincord but Arson Carson got exposed for being a creep or whatever, or even just petty gossip like how someone in a group chat you're in on sinstagram is being a creep but NO ONE ELSE BUT YOU AND YOUR FRIEND CAN TELL.

Now I do this with my best friend sometimes they'll be on their phone or something and I'll just plop my head on their knee and scroll on my phone, I imagine that's what you and Vox do but he'll probably pat your head,

I imagine he'll probably do your hair sometimes, like puts it up In a ponytail, that's the only hairstyle he knows [My dad fr fr]

I imagine Vox gives you piggy back rides, or tries to, you just hang on his back like a koala, you cannot grow up in his eyes you'll always be that small child, missing a couple of teeth, who'd brag about her dad working in the TV on the playground, you can do no wrong!

You probably killed a guy, or maybe set something on fire.

Hiiii can you do a Leo fic where the reader is a cyborg (like Bucky) and he helps them fix things and stuff. I know it’s so random and kinda weird but I think that he would be head over heels for them

-It didn’t really matter what kind of prosthetic you had.

-Leo would still be able to run up behind you and hug you, his chin on your shoulder with that stupid little grin of his that you had to kiss off his face a lot of the time

–he didn’t mind if had to wobble around while you walked to Bunker 9 or back to your cabin, or if you were in bed every second day with chronic pain, no hugs allowed. He’d still hold your hand while he led you down the path, or sit on the end of your bed fiddling with his latest gadgets. 

-Maybe it was that pair of glasses for you that brought color into black and white seeing eyes, or another hand with little suction cups on the palm so you could pick up the hot chocolate Piper made without forgetting to close your metal fingers. 

-It’s no secret Leo had insecurities, and being useless to people was a big one of those. Luckily you eased that for him without even realizing. He could be hugging you, or pressing kisses to your collarbone, or maybe just sitting next to you at breakfast [you had a note, don’t worry] and he could always be helping you. Improving your life one bolt or mechanical attachment at a time.

-Once he even built a speaker into your prosthetic arm, with a little panel to choose songs on Spotify where a watch would sit. That one was scrapped once Jason found out he could listen to Taylor Swift all the time with voice activation.

-You were like a grounding base for Leo, no matter what stupid or clever [most of the time it was both] ting he was doing, how far away he was, he could find you again. 

-You don’t know how many times you’d be in the arts and crafts center, or out in the strawberry fields carrying boxes for the Demeter kids, and just hear the quick footsteps behind you. 

-Then Leo would bounce up and wrap his arms around you, smelling like sawdust and that cinnamon candle Nyssa liked to light in their cabin. You’d kiss him on the forehead and he’d take a berry from the Delphi Strawberry Farms crate or tip some glitter onto your project.

-Even if he messed it up, it was still from the heart. Because holy shit he loved you way too much <3

funny thing that's been happening to me. so the header for the jrwi tag is currently a piece of fanart of jay (which is. gorgeous) but it's cropped so we pretty much just see the top of her face and her new heterochromia. however. my phone's front facing camera is like. in the screen. so for me it looks like jay has a cyborg style bionic eye thing going on which has made me really want jay to get a bionic eye

1 - A square watermelon won by garmbreak1 for adhering to rationalist principles by not assuming the blogger's gender, as it has never been explicitly stated on this blog. Part of a gender fruit emoji ask meme circulating at the time.

2 - Three self-righteous TIME SNITCHES sent by the world government to stop Destiny Playwright (the "Union Girl," the character featured as the avatar of this blog and used for some #augmented reality break short fiction posts) from going back in time with other time criminals to commit hyper-treason (by preventing the world government from existing in the first place).

Depictions of the World Union vary. It was most recently mentioned in the Biomechanoid Discourse Anon Round-Up, where it was implied not to control the entire world - a difference from earlier posts.

nop! certain groups of them have entirely different settings! 

 1. Fighting game: these used to be BNHA ocs that i repurposed. I really like them and their quirks, so to preserve them im creating a small fighting game with a small roster. The main plot is still very loose but as of now it centers about a tournament with a grand prize in cash and each member would like to win to use the money or the title of winner to achieve their individual goals. So far it includes Iro (iridescent haired girl), Gale (the big croc guy) and Suri (slime girl) + some background characters like other ocs that also were originally from bnha and are relevant to these main 3 (of my own and of my friends, hence why background characters) 

 2. the sk8erz: It shows the lives of a group of skater friends freshly out of high school and into college, focusing on their everyday life while they discover their place in the world as they transition into adulthood and explore their relationship and awful selves. It includes Ami (the black girl with red locs), Yugo (the guy that looks like every 90s boyband idol) and Yaro (the guy that wears a cap and looks terminally ill). 

 3. Monster ocs: Not really anything going on here. It's just an empty setting for my monster ocs. It includes Grecia (gorgon), Beatrice (mummy), Carlos (werewolf), and Levi (vampire). I dont draw them much, except for Grecia on occasions. 

 4. Starlight Watch: this one has a name bc i had to come up with something for university. I created the main 2 characters for a university design assignment. Originally they were intergalactic cop partners inspired by 80s sci-fi and cop action shows. I kept the designs, reworked and repurposed them as now royal guards of a clueless Alien Princess (a random design that i kept from when i was in middle school now repurposed and redesign). The story incudes: Teri (green guard alien), Bano (human cyborg), Navari (the grey alien princess) and Lyra Constella (pink pop idol alien) 

 5. Clowns: i just have one oc here and it is Kinga (the clown, duh). At first i wanted to make a circus but i knew it was not within my power so i only made Kinga and abandoned the idea. I really like her design, however, so i want to keep it around for when i find a purpose for her. 

 6. Magic: here we only have Omen Burroughs (a witch). It just focuses on how skilled but careless he is, abandoning the witch realm to go into the human realm to experience the frivolous, lustful life of a rockstar, even though he really isnt one. Also because he is obsessed with motorbikes and biker culture and is trying to build or at least customize his broom from scratch, but he cant find parts in the witch realm bc no one gives a damn about bikes over there. 

 7. Thieves: the main 2 were originally Soul Eater ocs. A friend and I made a weed joke about them and it went downhill from there. Their story deals with immigration, crime and corruption in the fictional american city of Vertwick. The characters so far are the ones in my header here! Nicky and Tobias (the main 2, both latino immigrants of very different upbringing), Lewis (a broke computer science student and hacker), and Diana (a promiscuous corrupt cop). 

 I might have missed certain settings but i certainly did leave out some characters i dont have nor a backstory nor a setting for yet. Theyre just designs that i made and like to keep around in case i find out where to place them.

Book Release Announcement

It's strange to think but My Say In the Matter, a pro-bodily autonomy charity anthology has been published! Along with my short story: Firebird! I'll probably write a more in depth post about this story, what it took to write it, and why it means so much to me, but for now, go buy it!

When a cyborg and an energy spirit meet, they learn they have a lot in common including: being someone else's experiment, severe trauma, and a long kill list. However, when the only way to get their revenge is to literally become one, is revenge worth the loss of their identity? Or is this the only way they'll ever feel whole?

This story is primarily about the horrors of forced creation (whether that be through birth/body modification/social pressures) and the violence we sometimes have to commit to recreate ourselves. 

As an agender person, my feelings towards my physical form range from ambivalent to hateful and this story allowed me to express and explore some of those thoughts, especially when your body was never truly yours. 

Finally, it’s about the connections we make that can help us reclaim who we truly are and offer us an escape from the hell others have put us in. 

I’m so grateful my friend @/EzraArndtWrites allowed me to take part in crafting this anthology and helped me introduce Grigori, Ruslan, and Mara to the rest of the world. This story means the world to me and I’m glad it’s part of an anthology were all proceeds will go to Abortion Fund, to help in the fight for abortions for all peoples. Also huge shout out to @/warickaart for the amazing story header art.
