Okay so this is the 2nd year of me doing this (but this year I wont delete) butttt I show my top 10 fic and authors for each member/group( some members of bts repeat due to the amount of poly fics I read and its what I mainly read) (A handful of these have smut so heres your warning)

(I would also love to be your guys friends as every single one of you seems absolutely amazing)

Oh where do I start with this fic I found it in the spring looking for a Soulmate fic and oh boy I was in for a ride THREE SOULMATES?! ummm YES and the arcade chapter was ABSOULELY AMAZING! I hope you're doing well Author!! as this fic hasn't been updated in a while

9. @yonkimint Without You (Yoongi with a side of Hoseok or "Jay")

OHHHH BOY When I wanted a love triangle I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED I found this fic in April looking for angst and ANGST I GOT without spoiling it its a Pregnancy/ Single Mom AU and one of the best ones Ive read in a longgggg time

8. @guksthighs Bloom (Yoongi)

OH BOY This is a recent one actually. This one shot was made SIX YEARS AGO?! OMG Hanahaki AUs are one of my favorites angst type of fics so when I read this I literally sobbed like a baby I cant say much else without spoiling it

MISS HAS ALWAYS BEEN ONE OF MY FAVES SINCE 2019 like when I first read beside you YESS I reread Cyberslut and HAD to include it but reading less of you in June as I was dealing with my own breakup it was a tear jerker towards the end of less of you, for me I wont spoil it but there a plot twist that I was not expecting towards the end of the sequel, Vintage. BUT STRAWBERRY KISSES OH MY GAHD I read that on my way home in August even though its a SMUTTY I enjoyed it a lot and the FLUFF I think some people looked at me crazy when I took the bus home that day

Okay here me out! Demon Slayer. Its one of my favorite manga and anime series and with CHANBIN as a hashira UMMM YES ynand chanbin are literally Genya and Sanemi if Genya was a girl and not YK (demon slayer spoiler!!) eating demons, but this 2 parter was ABSOULTELY AMAZING

down below is a heartfelt sob story about my favorite hard drive and also reason why I did the poll

For the longest time I only had one external drive containing everything. It was an old 256GB drive that I just named "BACKUP".

When I got my SSD I took out the old hard drive and used that as my main backup source. Because it had more storage I named it "BACKUP EXTENDED".

That drive got corrupted when I was in rehab because some guy named Kevin borrowed it for movies and used in a micro usb phone cable instead of the real one that was right on top of the drive.

So BACKUP EXTENDED was no more. A few months later I tried some usb partitioning tools (GParted my beloved) because I had some computer issues and thought I try to revive that old drive again and it fucking worked. From that day on my backup drive was known as "THE UNDEAD" (I've also been a huge Hollywood Undead fan at that time).

That name stuck with me, even after I accidentally formatted the whole drive when installing Arch, It persisted through each repartitioning session.

When I fucked up my partitioning table so hard it took several tries of fiddling to get the drive to work again, I renamed my trusty old drive to UNDEAD REVIVED because, well, I had to revive it again. Is it really undead at this point? Or is a revived thing alive again. What is a revived zombie, really? Maybe that's something for another poll...

A few weeks ago I got a few terabytes of storage for cheap and the biggest drive I got right now is 3TB. It's my new backup drive and I called it "UNDEAD EXTENDED",

But I've reached a point where having only one partition for everything isn't enough anymore. I have a macbook for work which can't write to NTFS partitions, so I had to create an exFAT for shared storage. That doesn't allow me to symlink things though, and I still need to have a Windows backup that I can just attach to any PC and boot from it, so I also need an NTFS drive. But Windows does things to the NTFS drive so that sometimes I have to sudo mount the partition which is really annoying and kinda sucks. I only use Linux on my main machine and just want to keep some of its files somewhere without other systems interacting with it at all so now I also have a ext4 partition for system backup and some games.

So, my trusty UNDEAD* hard drive that I lovingly kept and revived and extended and revived again, which stores everything that I own and love and need is now cut up into pieces and none of the partitions feel like the drive that it once was that makes me sad.

I grew very attached to that hard drive and to that name but even when the physical drive is still next to me it feels like I've outgrown it. I've had my Undead drive when I was at my lowest and it was a part of my digital life up until now. I've had iterations of it for almost half of my life. If that thing could talk, it would scream.

So, how did I name my partitions instead now?

I've named my exFAT partition "CYBERSLUT" the way it plugs into any computer and gets manhandled by it, it made me smile when I made the tough decision to retire the undead naming scheme.

My NTFS drive is called "WHYDOS" because I always ask myself why I still keep up with Windows sometimes, and I just recreated my ext4 partition that I named "PLAYGROUND", because it's only used for Wine bottles and some steam games so far, so they don't take up most of my limited SSD space.

Saw a post that inspired this and my brain would not let it go.

It’s late.

Like really late.

Like ‘holy shit how are you still on your feet and thinking clearly’ late.

Well, one of you is on your feet and thinking clearly. Marcus isn’t doing so hot on the thinking clearly front, and rapidly working his way to failing the on his feet option as well with how heavily he’s leaning against the banister.

You’re standing at the top of the stairs, somewhere between bemused and exasperated as you watch your husband try to drunkenly stumble his way up the stairs of your apartment building. He’d insisted he could do it himself, roughly five minutes ago, and had since managed to impressively make it about ¾ of the way up on his own.

“Are you sure you don’t need help?” You ask.

He clumsily waves a hand up at you, squinting up the stairs like he’s judging the distance before nodding emphatically. “‘M fine. Jus fine.” 

It takes another couple of minutes but finally he’s standing beside you at the top of the stairs. Thank god you only live on the second floor, you’re not sure you could handle anymore stairs.

Marcus stumbles after you down the hall, impressively silent for someone who is so drunk he can barely stay on his feet, and leans against the wall next to the door as you unlock it. It takes you a little longer to admit than you would like to admit, considering you aren’t entirely sober either, but at least it didn’t take you almost ten minutes to get up about twenty stairs.

Once you’re both inside, you push off your shoes as Marcus looks around the apartment. “Do you need help undressing, baby, or can you manage that? I’m assuming a shower is off the table.”

He gives you such a shocked and offended look you want to laugh as he shakes his head. “No, no. No ma’am, ‘m married. See?” Marcus holds up his hand, proudly displaying his wedding ring, and this time you do laugh in amazement.

“Oh you’re married are you? She must be a lucky lady.” With as drunk as he is Marcus doesn’t even register the humor in your tone, shaking his head seriously in response to your question.

“No, I’m the lucky one.” He mumbles,  turning and stumbling towards the sofa, shedding his jacket and impressively managing to stay on his feet as he kicks off his shoes and jeans in a heap on the floor. He collapses onto the couch, right arm slung over his eyes, and holds his left hand up again. “I am a married man! To a beautiful woman…she’s so pretty…I love my wife…”

You’re doubled over at this point, one hand braced on your knee and the other covering your mouth as your shoulder shake with silent laughter. Marcus doesn’t respond, and you’re pretty sure you hear a soft snore from him.

Walking over, you poke at his shoulder. “Marcus?”

Yea that was definitely a snore.

With a shake of your head you turn and head towards the bedroom. It’s not worth trying to argue with a resolutely married man, even if he is married to you. His back is going to hurt in the morning, and he’s going to have one hell of a headache.

But Marcus Pike is a faithfully devout husband if nothing else.
