On my Discord recently, someone was attempting to pitch a crossover idea for The Amazing Digital Circus.

Crossovers are my thing, see, and I've made a small name for myself on Spacebattles jamming together wildly different franchises and somehow making them work.

And it's my opinion that The Amazing Digital Circus is incredibly insular. See, some settings are easy to work with; for Star Wars, all you've gotta do is say that your crossover setting of choice is on a random planet in the undiscovered regions. For Danny Phantom, he falls through a portal in the Zone and ends up somewhere else. Easy.

But TADC is entirely self-contained. It's a simulation inside an implied larger world, connected to between six and twenty people randomly distributed across that world (as far as we know).

But crossovers aren't impossible, and if you don't just want to stick to the method of having (Insert Character Here) put on the headset and forget everything that makes them themselves, here are a few settings the Circus could coexist with with minimal justification.

That original Yu-Gi-Oh! storyline where they end up inside virtual reality for a bit

You'll notice these are all settings where there's cyberspace that people can actually physically visit, with the logic being that, as a computer, Caine might be able to connect with other computers and send the gang on adventures to them. Whether he's aware that these aren't part of his own game or not is author's choice.

I've always wanted to play this game! For Conext I have a very early memory of playing a "Red and blue tank game" years Later I would learn to be Cyber Sled by Namco, which Cyber commando is a sequel to. I've played the heck out of the PS1 port of Cyber Sled since it became a PS1 Classic on PS3/Vita but the sequel was arcade only so I haven't played it yet.

I watched TRON (1982) and TRON LEGACY (2010) back to back and I want to tell you what makes a TRON plot:

A counter-culture hacker has a strained relationship with the ENCOM tech company. They sit at a desk (with their back to a big laser) to poke around a computer system, then get lasered into cyberspace by a rogue intelligent program that has taken charge of its program society through militaristic cyberviolence. The hacker is briefly forced to play deathsports (video games) before fleeing into a cyberworld they don't understand, joining forces with anti-fascist cyberallies while constantly on the run, trying to get to a big glowing cyberbeam in order to get home and also defeat the rogue ai's cyberplan to spread its cybercontrol to human society. There's a cyberguy named Tron who -and this is essential- is only important to the plot once. Profit-driven tech leaders get deposed. The visuals are state-of-the-art and indulgently weird, often beautiful but also confidently overreaching their capabilities. Philosophical questions of life and meaning are raised but never explicitly explored in dialogue, though messages are ripe for extrapolating. Jeff Bridges is there and he's a pretty chill cybergod.

They should make a new one every 15 years or so forever.

You’re a kind person. The type of kindness that lets you stop and smell the roses, to watch your step for the tiny creatures of the earth as they scuddle across your path. It’s in your innate sense of carefulness and compassion for others, especially when that sense leads you to a trembling, albeit larger-than-average, insect in a confined alleyway of the city.

Your primal instincts told you to stay away, to back the hell off. But you couldn’t ignore a nagging thought that this creature wasn’t a creature at all, but one of those Cyber-tron-ians? Though you didn’t care for what it was, all you care to see is that it’s upset. So, you carefully convinced it to follow you back to your apartment, where it’s warmer and softer than the streets.

You’ve learned his name is Wasp, a supposed fugitive from his home planet, on the run from his own kind after being falsely convicted of being a spy. Honestly, the whole thing doesn’t make sense to you. However, you still sat with him on the floor, and you listened.

“So… you can’t go back home?” You questioned, bundled up in a soft woollen blanket.

Wasp cowers in the corner of the lounge beside you, his purple visors downturned pathetically, “Can’t go back… Wasp can’t trust no one.”

“Well, you trust me? Don’t you?” You tilt your head, “Or you wouldn’t be here with me, right?”

The poor creature lifts his head toward you, his bug-like visor softening at your words.

“Wasp… likes you.” He murmurs, “Human makes Wasp comfortable… here…”

You smile, thankful that he feels comfortable with you, but you can’t help but notice the slight tremble in his frame, “You look cold,” You gently toss the other half of the blanket towards him as an invitation, “C’mere honey.”

He tilts his head curiously before slowly crawling towards you, observing you for ulterior motives. But when he lays his helm on your lap and can feel you drape the blanket around him, he can feel himself melt into you.

“There, how’s that?” You bring a gentle hand down to stroke his helm, and with every stroke, you have to suppress a chuckle as he melts into your lap more.

“Feels… nice..” Wasp sighs, closing his optics as he lets you pet him. All the hurt, pain and betrayal he’s endured, he’s never experienced something quite like this.

“Good,” You lean down and softly kiss his helm. You don’t see it, but Wasp couldn’t help the blush rise to his face, “You can stay here as long as you need. I’ll be here.”

As much as Wasp wants to go home, he could get used to this.

You have been sent to a planet that has been recently discovered. You had a strong gut feeling that you were probably gonna die, but you didn’t have much to go back to. Your life was pretty miserable. You never really had many friends and your family never believed in your dream of becoming an astronaut. Sure, you were born with lots of smarts and you became extremely rich for it, but love over cash as they say.

You made your way, progressively getting closer and closer to this planet that you humans named “TRON CY-637” or as you called it “Cybertron” for short. This planet was planted far from Earth, forcing you to stay in the ship for a long period.

After a while of you dazing up at the walls, you have realised that the planet was within your range of sight. It was very strange looking. The planet was constantly moving and shape-shifting, it seemed somewhat robotic.

You landed and WHAAMM!! Your rocket-ship was suddenly knocked over by some sort of cyber-train, you think..? The train dragged you down into some sort of underground city and your rocket started plummeting down after the train made a sharp turn. You instantly went into fight mode, pulling the emergency lever and grabbing the needed equipment to protect yourself.

SWOOSH!! You suddenly stopped falling…? The gravity finally stabilises and you fall onto your bottom on the ship ever-so-suddenly. You slowly got up, the sight in front of you blurring and smudging into a pure black.

You slowly woke up, shifting on the harsh metal below you. You barely open your eyes, seeing blurred colours. Gold and grey? This wasn’t the ship… You launched up onto your feet immediately into a fighting stance. You were standing on some sort of very-oversized table. The walls were drenched in a shimmery gold, patterns traced in many crevasses. Everything around you was a sort of metal. You relaxed your shoulders but still had your fists clenched.

The silence was suddenly broken by some strong steps heading your way. Before you could act, a sentient being appeared from the corner of your eye. This thing was gigantic. His outward look screamed perfection with his shiny chassis and his seemingly confident posture. His smirk only proved your point. Your thoughts suddenly end at ‘a robot?’ As the sentient being speaks up.

“Heyy.. You're awake, eugh...”

You fixed your translating-implant that was on the side of your helmet and looked up with mixed fear and shock. Seemingly it was a guy or something judging by their voice. The human predictions of an alien were way off the chart because this is not a green humanoid, this was a robot!

”What even are you? You look so fleshy… Saw your puny ride fail and I kinda had to save you, don’t want the city to have any dents, ey?”

He suddenly started laughing, leaning forward and giving a cocky smile. The laugh sounded like those ‘rich-men laughters’ from the TV shows. You backed off and snarled slightly, you did not trust this bot one bit. His laugh slowly stopped and he got up, scoffing silently.

”Voice-box broken or something? Speak up.”

”.. What are you? What’s your name!?”

He widened their optics and placed a hand on their hip, tilting their posture. He placed a hand on their chassis to seemingly show themselves off and spoke up with a rich and powerful tone.

”I am Sentinel Prime, the ruler of Iacon city. I am the hero that will save all of Cybertron. You will bow before me, flesh.”

”No, tell me where I am now!”

You launched forward slightly in place, seemingly willing to start conflict. The bot looked down at you with disgust at your sudden burst and you backed off again, fearing him. He chuckled and leaned down to you as you stepped away, his face close to yours. His voice then dropped into a deep and somewhat possessive tone.

”… You will know your place. You will not lash out at me, you will always be under me and you will be mine. Got it?”

His finger gently raised your chin up, showing you his face. You have to admit, he is kinda hot, but you are probably gonna die. Sentinel then swept you off your feet and held you in his servo, staring you up and down. Your silly and puffy astronaut suit covered most of your body and this disappointed him, so he tried to take it off.

”HEY!! I need this to survive! I don’t think you guys have oxygen on this planet…”

”Ox-uh-geen…? No, I don’t think so. Fine, I’ll spare you then.”

”Thank y-“

”If you go to any-bot for help, if you try to escape and if you try to even love somebody else that isn’t me, I will rip your oxygen supply away from you. Clear?”

(Also the heights are based on the Sonic cinematic universe. But I guess if they were converted to full size like the sonic verse, Jack would be 5’9”ft, and my sona would be 5’5”ft)

Jack is an absolute tech-head, known to be a more reserved mobian, being more cynical and observant, while still being a mastermind in n the tech field. He will often go on night rides on his cyber bike, which can grip to vertical surfaces. The cyber bike is inspired by Tron, and when going fast enough it leaves a brief yellow light trail. He preferably drinks mint tea, (no milk). Jack does not know how to spin dash. A additional accessory is his interactive hologram visor that beams from a small side head piece which he can tap to enable or disable the hologram. p.s. his fur is soft and smells like lavender 😈

Kiran was personally a difficult challenge for me but I enjoy the outcome. Kiran is more rowdy and physical than most, enjoying spars and practicing their physical skills and prowess. Their power up hands (hand close up right ver) are extremely heavy handed, not having the best ability to control the force behind their hand. Depending on the target Kiran will press her fingers/claws together to make their claws shovel like to deal a heavy blow, just be aware, these are very sharp. Additionally just like a real pangolin, they have a long tongue, so you best believe that Kiran WILL yoink food out of sight, when Kiran wants to eat that is. They cannot handle spice, so no chilli dogs for them : (. Also if Kiran does coil up into a ball the outside will be jagged and spiky given the natural armour plates, the most notable feature would be the orange light stream (like in the movies) they leave behind if they go extremely fast. In the spin dash form the jagged surface also rips up terrain easily so, yeah…. Probably best to stay out of the way-

Miracubots AU

Sooooo, me and a friend reconnected after a few years of silence (Thanks depression) and discovered not only do we still share similar old fandom brainrot, but we share NEW fandom brain rot and have very similar opinions about the Miraculous series, which lead into the brainrots fusing and with their permission. I present. THE MIRACUBOTS AU

AKA What if we took the cool and interesting magic system and initial set up of Miraculous....AKA the only good bits, and put it in a show with great writing and characters who we love and who deserve to go feral on a villain every now and again?

The AU takes place instead of the canon season four, Cody is aged up a little to 14/15, Doctor Morroco never lost his Verns device to Madeline Pynch so he's still around to be a menace, and the Prime bots...We haven't fully established if Prime is still happening, or if it's after RiD but the Autobots are still around and mentioned occasionally. And since it's a different version of season 4, the bots are still undercover to the town, only the family knowing they are sentient.

Madeline takes stage as the main villain of the series having acquired the Butterfly Miraculous and after discovering Nooroo and it's power, forcing the Kwami to tell her all about the other Miraculous, including the fact that using two of them, the Ladybug and Black Cat together gives one the power to alter reality.

Seeing an easy way to get her goal of being the riches and most powerful person on the planet, she forces Nooroo to tell her where the Miracle box is, but the poor Kwami can only confirm he senses it on Griffin Rock. With her goal in mind Pynch uses the Butterfly to become Swallowtail creating her first Akuma to draw out the guardian and hopefully the Miraculous she seeks.

Master Fu once he realizes what is happening, charges Tikki and Plagg to find two children they resinate strongly with to become the new holders of their Miraculous, reasoning that Children will be easy to teach and control, and he'd be better able to take the Miraculous back from children if the pair chose poorly.

To no one in this fandom's surprise, Cody Burns is who's picked by Tikki to be her holder. He does try to convince her to go to his dad or siblings so they can protect her after she tells him she's what the Akuma is after. But Tikki insists that she picked the right person to be her holder able to sence Cody having a loving heart full of courage.

Cody becomes the new Ladybug Hero Beetletron! looking very much like a miniature version of one of the Rescuebots, though one with a beetle Altmord, when he asks about it Tikki explains that it's because well, the Rescuebots have more or lest become his mental image of what a hero should *be* and thus the Miraculous copied their form. The name comes from Cody trying to think of a Cybertronian sounding name and vaguely remembering hearing the bots talk about some important mech from Cybertron....something-tron? Well it sounds robotic and he's a beetle so, Beetletron!

Fighting against the Akuma he's joined by another hero, a girl in a cyber punk looking get up, dark leathers and neon greens with a head covering mask, she even has a USB cable acting as a tail that she can use with her tech knowhow to hack! The new Black Cat introduces herself as Felidae Fatale, named for the scientific cat family Felidae, and well, she might not be the classic version of a Femme Fatale, she'll prove she can be just as badass as they can be.

Working together feeling like they've known each other for years though they just met, they beat the Akuma, and when Swallowtail makes her threat to claim their Miraculous's they confidently announce they'll make sure a villain like her, never wins.

In the aftermath the pair meet up and agree, keeping a secret identity from the other would be pretty silly considering the life and death danger their in, so. Reveal themselves.

And Cody laughs crying as he hugs his best friend Frankie, as there really could be no other person it would be.
